The reviews on this del taco are harsh. Don't believe them. This place was great and friendly super fast service. It was a very pleasant visit for me. People tend to base a review on 1 experience there, when they know they're still eating there everyday. Bunch of funny weird people complaining go to yelp if all you can do is bash a great establishment that's still affordable to the community.

Nice old school looking location. The girls that helped me were very polite and friendly. I hope they are getting paid a fair wage for their hard work.

I love this location, I’ve been to a lot of other sites and by far this is my favorite! I’m usually in a hurry because of work , the staff are efficient, the restaurant is always clean and you can tell Jessica runs a tight ship, it shows!!!

I’ve been going to this Del Taco since I was a little girl and it’s still just as good as it was back then or better. I’ve never had to wait in the drive thru line too long and the ladies that work there have always been really nice to me. Since they started serving Beyond meat options I’ve been able to eat there more recently. I appreciate the fact there’s a vegan option that I can grab quickly. They have also never messed up my order and have always giving me the correct items. Other locations I have been to have screwed up my order and given me meat along with not being open when it says they should be open. I appreciate this place so much and how it’s conveniently located.

Place is way clean for a Del taco, very nice people especially a drive thru worker named Miyah she helped me ordering the food with good amount of patience for how long I took,and Service is very great along with the food.

Was very pleased with our nighttime visit. The staff was very pleasant and professional. Service was quick and efficient. Asked for the fries to be well done and they were perfectly crispy! Would definitely consider again if ever put this way in the future!

Breakfast , lunch, dinner, always a great team . I work with another del taco and I tell you this crew always makes sure my food is right they have messed up before but have no issues fixing their mistake. I get a clean seat every time I go if it’s not clean they will clean it. Restrooms are a hit n miss but if you tell them they will gladly get it fixed it for you with no pullback or like you are bothering them

I ordered a bean burrito with red sauce kids meal with a Chipotle chicken wrap. The food presentation lacked because my kids' meal did not come in a kids' meal bag, and I got no toy. My burrito was warm and tasted good, and I had nice hot fries that were perfectly salted. Unfortunately, the chicken roll was a little empty and lukewarm. I would have been better just ordering a chicken soft taco with Chipotle sauce. It's literally the same thing. I just wish my chicken roll was at least hot. Okay, experience overall. Nice staff, clean location.

I know it's fast food, but when it comes to order completion and more correctness, this Del Taco does a better job. Especially important when you have picky eaters.

Food was good, service was good. My only frustration was seeing that there's a height limit bar in the drive through that's highly inaccurate. Seriously... That's my only gripe. Please change it to actual drive through clearance

My go-to Del Taco. Always clean and has friendly employees. Food is fresh - never wilty lettuce! An extra plus is finding a table with an electrical outlet to charge my cell. Can get very busy with high school students after 2:30 pm

Quesadillas were on very good 👍. However, beef tacos, not so much (my opinion). Beef tasted like broken pieces of meat loaf. I prefer regular ground beef, not meat loaf. So, I'm going to stick to chicken tacos from now on 😂. Must add, staff at window was very nice. Even asked if we wanted sauce. This is something that's not happening as a general rule anymore. This location is very typical of most Del Taco restaurants. The food is good quality at low prices (the most bang for your buck). This particular location is adequate but the dining room is a little outdated and the drive thru can be a little slow at times.

It's open late and if you order enough extra cheese - doesn't matter what else they put on it or leave out....they are pretty good. Fries should be ordered crispy or they will become rubbery.

I love the morning staff! But I've been super annoyed by the fact that they dont switch out their gloves after touching mo ey then touch your food and drinks.. and they dont all cover their mask properly. Then I get home and no salt on my fries.but I go back cause I love the food.

New tacos are very tasteful for being plant based. Seasoning is more then just reasonable . Very close to matching beef taco taste and consistency of the beef . One question what is the level of the salt content in the mixture . Reason for question health . Many people need to watch salt intake .

We have three Del Taco restaurants within about 3 miles of home, but this one is by far the best. Rarely do they get the order wrong, can't say that about any other Del Taco's. Also, they have the best French fries at this location, at the other locations they are either overcooked, raw or unseasoned.

We had burritos. My daughter and I had the classic chicken burritos, and they were good. My son had the Epic Combo Burrito. It was the size of the kids' bean and cheese burritos. I was disappointed that they didn't have ice tea available . Service was incredibly slow, the dining area was nice and clean, classic Del Taco, comfortable.

Kept unclean. There were tables with trash still on them. I know it's customers' responsibility to clean up after themselves, but incase they don't, there are paid employees who can..nonetheless, can't beat taco thursday deal: 3 grilled chicken soft tacos for $2.29!

It's just a regular Del Taco. It's clean, they're quick and the food tastes good. My only complaint is with Del Taco in general. The Macho burritos are so much smaller. Way, way smaller. Now a days you get two burritos for $5 and they don't even equal one old style Macho burrito.

There were a half dozen people who were waiting for a good 30 minutes to receive their food. They were not very good at multi tasking. Sorry for the not so good news.

First off... the food is GREAT. It's one of the things I miss about California when I leave. This store is clean, and the portions and quality are consistent. Now for the bad: No matter what time of day or night I go here... no matter how much I beg or plead, I never get a receipt, and they never tell me my order total at the speaker. Would give 5 stars if I could get the "golden" receipt or total at the speaker.

Del Taco is normally pretty good. However, the food here was okay, but the place needed to be cleaner. The service was slower than other Del Taco's and the staff seemed to lack much motivation. Maybe they were having an off day.

The food for my son and I was just OK. The Fries weren't fresh they were old. The meat on my burrito was super greasy and in my son's tacos, too. For 2 of us spending over $19 for less than par food. It should be better. This was in Cypress, CA at Valley View and Orange streets sits on the corner

It's a toss up some days good . other days slow slow drive thru and dried out tortillas. Today I order 2 chicken soft tacos 1 perfect and the other soft taco tortilla not eatable dried razer hard edges... Manager there must be a flake or hire flakes.. The worst of the del tacos in a 10 mile radius and I love del taco... So this is sad sad sad...it hurts not to give it a 4+

Lady at the drive through window was great. The food kind of sucked. They’ve ditched the spicy Jack chicken quesadilla, which is a BIG mistake. The new cheddar quesadilla is a disaster. The spicy chicken burrito was flavorless and the fries were burnt. Del Taco was my fave of the three big fast food Mexican chains, but no more.

Once again, this place did not give us all of our order. Who doesn't make sense to turn around and drive 45 minutes for three tacos and two burritos. After a while we just stopped coming back.

Order soft tacos, got hard shell. She even repeated soft taco on the speaker. I dont like their hard shell tacos. The shells dont makenit home. Plus I'm not big on there taste ether. Not the first time, and not the first time they have messed up theee soft taco order.

The food was good, but the service was terrible and the restaurant was filthy dirty, sticky floor, trash and napkins everywhere. I had to ask for hot sauce and a lid for my cup because they both hadn't been restocked in a while. I would not dine in again.

I noticed the person making the tacos with putting about half them out at meat in the tacos and when they're making the burritos really putting small amounts in them I advised the manager and all they did was remake my bean burritos but when I went to my car to eat them it just had a lot of extra onion and lettuce that I had to pay for but still only a little refried beans. So I left to talk to the real manager of Del Taco tomorrow or Monday. I've mentioned to her that the lady needs to be retrained and she didn't care she Shrugged her shoulders

If you look at all my critiques of places I've frequented you can see I've never written about getting sick anywhere. But I ordered their 5 layer burrito with the Beyond Meat and it tasted pretty good. But an hour or so later, I was hurting pretty bad and it continued for at least 24 hours if not more. Multiple bathroom trips without really getting into it. This particular Del Taco has always been a little sketchy because it's been in disrepair for a long time. I was staying away until someone told me that they remodeled it. Went back and did notice they had improved it, but not much, regardless I was there and did order. However, I'm pretty sure I won't be returning. Gave them 2 Stars because I can't be absolutely sure they were to blame but if I had to bet I would not hesitate to make that bet.

The manager was not friendly. The tables were dirty outside. I decided to clean them myself. The manager then told me I couldn't bring trash from outside to the inside of the building. I told him there was no trashcan outside for me to put it. Maybe it was a bad day for both of us. He didn't seem happy. I love del taco. No free refills on the soda. 😭

While the staff seemed friendly and the drive thru was relatively quick, our order was not fulfilled properly. The most disappointing of all was getting a total of 6 hot sauce packets after specifically requesting "a lot of hot sauce". We ordered 8 items, 2 of which were thrown in the trash. The tostadas were so dry without sauce that they were inedible.

My order was taken by a rude employee who did not seem to care and would not pay attention to me. She then over charged me. my order came out incorrect and was not good at all. I will never go back to this location again. It's not worth the money and time wasted.

Worst del taco I go to.. GUARANTEED everytime I order they always mess up my food. When you order a burger and are VERY specific about how you want if and the employees repeat it back to you 5 + times you think it would be made correctly yet everytime it's wrong. stuff is added that I can't eat and everything I wanted is never on there. On top of it all after the 30 second walk back to my car the burger was already cold... I've been in cypress for 15+ years and this ALWAYS happens (never busy when I go either). Never again am I going to this del taco. So sad when you can't get a simple order correct.

I guess referring to Asian customers as 'chinito' or 'chinita' is common here. My wife wanted to use the restroom before we ordered and the lady prepping the food in the back yelled to us, for customers only. We looked at each other like really?! We just wanted to freashen up before we handled the food we were going to buy. The dude in the front taking orders was chill and opened the restroom door for my wife without a second thought. I stuck around looking at the menu and I heard her using the derogatory phrases in reference to us with the cashier. We ordered $15 worth of food and headed home, but after discussing what I heard with my wife, my wife who speaks fluent Spanish, didn't even want to eat the food for fear of it being contaminated. Safe to say we're never coming here again.

The food wasn't bad, however it's definitely not worth it to go there only to get treated so disrespectfully by the staff... They put value tacos on sale and they skimp on the cheese and meat but even when you buy them regular price depending on where you go the cheat you out of what the picture looks like or at least what it should be. Very dissapointed on my visit here in cypress store number 493 I specially told the cashier who later on found out he is a manager ( Carlos ) I asked nicely please verifie that my tacos have the proper amount of cheese I asked twice he never told the prep crew when I complained and showed him my food he's response was it's a value Taco with an attitude like it was his restaurant shakeing his head in disbelief that I should have complaint because it's a value Taco that only costs 59 cents according to him . The crew started talking in Spanish and making comments like if I don't understand which made me feel very dissapointed in my own people which the while creating was Hispanic. I've taken pictures and I'm forwarding them to corporate.

called del taco because I order a bunch of things including 2 orders of donut bites and my donut bites were missing I spoke with Jen was the name she gave me and said that she was sorry there doing there best. I replied by expressing many times in the past that items are missing from my order. she told me I need to make sure I check the bag when taken my order. This del is terrible. The wait tonight was long and they still got my order wrong. I ordered two combo burritos, I was charged for combo burritos for bean burritos, ordered small fries, not in the bag and all the shells taste stale like they’ve been sitting out. I tried calling the place to give them the chance to make it right and no one answers.

Awful service and overall gross del taco location. Hair has been found in food before and undercooked fries, beans and rice is what you get more often than not. Orders that get served rarely come correct, friends and family of mine that have gone to this location also have this issue here too. Employees will usually have an attitude when you let them know the order is incorrect as well. Also the staff is incredibly rude, from order to pick up, without fail, every visit and seem to pay little, if any, attention to their customers. Please save yourself the hastle and go to another location.

Server seems to have just come on shift or back from break. She seemed more like an angry Mom. There was a mistake on the order ahead of me, so I got the stuff they didn't order. It sat too long. Always wanted to try this location. Not so sure I'll ever go back.

This review is for the 3 guys working Saturday night 6/4/2022 between 9:15-9-50 pm. What in the hell were you doing in there? I don't know if you 3 are all new, drunk or high?? We waited 30 minutes in the drive thru. I left the car to go inside to use the restroom (mind you I'm 9 months preggo) and see what was taking sooooo long. I was Looking through the window and watching them look at eachother holding food looking lost. I asked to use the restroom and they wouldn't let me in. They said I needed to order in the drive thru. I proceeded to tell them I was preggo and needed to use the restroom and they were taking too long.Two of them turned their back to me and started ignoring me and one walked down the hall. There were three cars in front of us and 4 behind us. No way to get out. When I went back to the car, everyone had their windows down and asked why it was taking so long. I told them it looked liked no one knew what they were doing and they didnt let me use the restroom. It wasnt worth their time to wait any longer as we were already there for 30 mins. Everyone behind us in line left. Which made it easy for us to leave as well. This was by far the worst drive thru/customer service experience I have ever been in. I'm not one to write reviews. Good or bad, but the manager needs to know. They lost service tonight. Which was probably a waste of food as well if they even started our order of 3 bean and cheese burritos.

Drive through took 30 minutes to serve up 2 burritos and 2 fries. I had to correct the guy because he almost gave me the wrong order and almost didn't charge me. When I ask for a number to call to complain he said to go to yelp. It wasn't even busy.

Terrible! I would give it one and a half Stars! I ordered a number 16 which is a double Dell cheeseburger and the fries crispy. We had to go back, no drink, and the fries were total mush and squished bun on Burger was squished. My husband ordered burrito and two tacos and there was no guacamole in the burrito he ordered. Somebody doesn't know how to read an order! Not a good experience!

They always get my order wrong here. I don’t understand what makes this one so different from the rest but they don’t seem to know what their own menu is because whenever I order the cheese dip, they NEVER get my order right. I’ve gone many times hoping they can figure it out but I guess they don’t care enough to get the customer’s order correct. Today is November 6th at 11:30 am and whoever was running drive through, it was a male, doesn’t seem to understand the menu. I asked for the queso dip normal size multiple times. He had no idea what I was talking about. He didn’t even try to understand what I was talking about. I feel like you should at least try to figure out what the customer wants if you aren’t knowledgeable of your own menu. It’s frustrating to know that EVERY time you go to a certain drive through they mess up your order. Update: just checked my bag and they gave me the smallest container of what I thought was the queso dip, it was Mayo. What the actual eff?? Never coming here again. You need a new staff. Sunday morning almost 11am, the guy took my husband's card and we waited forever to get the card back to leave. Another guy asked the card again, and found out the previous guy PUT THE OUR CREDIT CARD IN HIS POCKET. what the heck of the service? Never ever get back to this location. STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!

Unhelpful, I tried to get an Iced tea, when given the price, I wanted to know if price went up or if he got the size wrong, he laughed and asked if it was too expensive for me.the when I asked multiple times to give me the information he shouted "everything is going up gas prices everything" . This also reminded me of the time this location decided to give me tacos without lettuce, for some reason, and even showed up on the receipt. When I drove back there, I didn't get anything other than this was what I ordered(which I didn't) as the only response.

Very slow and waiting for service FOR A LONG TIME and there was no body in line but me. Then as I was eating then another guy was waiting for a long time too. This guy order and they did not pay attention to him and when the food was given, it was wrong and he try to explain but they didn’t pay attention and just walk away. He waited for them and they didn’t talk to him and acted like he wasn’t there. Then I got up to order more food and again waited long time and I was the only one.

This location always has cold fries. I understand with fast food it’s always hit and miss but this location is always miss. And I’m not talking room temperature, like legit cold fries like they just sat on the counter for 30 min. Service also sucks here. There’s a del taco further down towards 91 freeway that’s good also one by Katella and Knott that’s also good. Worth the drive, you will not be satisfied here
