Ate it so fast !!!! It was so good 👍 "Best CHICKEN 🐔 sandwich 🥪 ever!!!! Say good bye 👋 to jack box ,ain't got nothing on this chicken 🐔 sandwich 🥪 mmmmmmmm!!!
Great food and great service always a pleasure grabbing lunch
Came here three times so far, tried the bacon burger, fries, onion rings, french toast, and fish n chips. all of them insanely good, bit on the pricier side (a combo will cost about $17-20) but the portion sizes hugely make up for it.
Great food, great service. The charbroiled chicken is fantastic. The meat is plump and juicy. The veggies are always fresh and crispy. Burgers are also very good. The Swiss-mushroom burger is my favorite. It's one of the best gourmet burger places in Northern OC.
I got a double BACON! cheeseburger with a coffee and fries! Food came out quick!! Staff was friendly! I came in knowing what I wanted so ordering was a breeze. They have a large selection of food to choose from tradicional breakfast to Mexican food. The ambient is cozy reminds me of an old dinner in the middle of nowhere like in the movies, from the music to the style of decor! I sat at a table near the window, watched the traffic pass while eating or people come in n’ out.
Have been conning to this place for years. It never disappoints. Burgers are good, and the fried zucchini and mushrooms are delicious! They are crunchy and not soggy at all.
This is a diner/fast food place. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The people working there are friendly and helpful. We paid $25 for a double cheeseburger, the colossal burger, and the chilli dog. All of them were good. I would go back.
This is my first time eating here at this restaurant I have to say when you come in very clean when we went to order our food they were super patient with us when we were ordering our food we went to go sit down they brought us our food I highly recommend the French toast and the bacon cheeseburger it was so delicious I had a lot of flavor I will definitely come here again
This place is a must try they have amazing food. The taste is perfect the crunch to my onion rings was perfect. I also ordered a corn dog twice in a day because it was absolutely delicious. They are very affordable!!!! I also ordered the veggies burger and it was so good. I’ll be a returning customer!!!
Very clean and very friendly place. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend eating here. It has an outstanding menu.
I have been going to Paul's Place since they opened. I love the food and the variety of choices on their menu. I always love to see what the festive decorations for the most recent holiday will be. A very comfortable setting with fun 50's music. Comfortable seating inside, an outdoor patio, or drive through. Everything is so fresh and tasty. The staff is always wonderful as well!
If any one is reading this review ... if you're hungry for outstanding quality food please go to Paul's Place on the corner of Cerritos and Knot avenue in Cypress, California. The fried zucchini you can tell it's fresh cut daily as well as the batter fresh made.. once you bite into one you'll know. The cheeseburger burger I thought I died and woke in heaven with a cheeseburger in my mouth it was that heavenly. The manager I can't say enough about her in this review... truly cares and appreciate her customers. Her management skills are over and beyond excellence...she is a great asset to the Paul's Place Corporation. After your arrival at Paul's Place just look at the surroundings outside very clean and once you enter Paul's Place you know there's a top notch Manager that means business. Her staff team and Cook's are well trained in providing great customer service and excellent quality food. Paul's Place in Cypress is my favorite go to spot for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wonderful management!
Food is always fresh! Taste is amazing! Best pastrami in Buena Park! Sweet potatoes fries at Paul's in Cypress!
Pastrami sandwich was absolutely delicious! Some of the Fried Zucchini was mushy inside. Some onion rings felt like the onion part of it was the skin that you're supposed to have thrown in the compost pile.
I just feel out of place in there for some reason. And I don't like the scrutiny I've faced many times in this place even AFTER I paid and ordered and was just waiting for my food. I must look a certain way or sumthin
Best darn Greek salad in the area. Their Colossal Burger and Onion Rings are fantastic also. Make sure you add a fried egg to the Colossal Burger.
The chicken fried steak ang eggs is a great breakfast meal and is enough food to be split between 2 diners. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a 50s diners with 50s top 40 hits playing. Overall, it was a great dining experience.
Got a bacon breakfast burrito, Bacon, eggs, cheese and hash browns. I added a medium drink and paid just under $12. Total score for the location and quality. It's hard to find a breakfast burrito in general for under $12 now, let alone get a drink and burrito for under $12.
Today I when to Paul's Place for a Bacon, Avocado Cheeseburger. They make a very taste bacon cheeseburger and with me adding the Avocado makes for an incredibly tasty burger. I chose onion rings and a strawberry shake to accompany my burger. A little pricey but worth the little extra for your dining pleasure. The staff was friendly, although they were busy it wasn't that bad of a wait for my food. Highly recommended place with tasty food.
Very reasonable pricing and the food was good. Got a burger combo and chicken strips. The burger was good size with the usual toppings and served right off the grill. The strips were good with right amount of crunch and chicken. Only thing that was strange was drinks were self serve and refillable in covid time while everywhere else it was the opposite.
A great place to go in the Anaheim/Stanton/Cypress area of Orange County. Large varied menu offering both breakfast and lunch deals. Always 3 to 4 items on special for lunch daily. The waiters and waitresses ate super efficient and are always cleaning up and putting stuff away. Very friendly, busy at meal times, and they bend over backwards to make sure you are satisfied.
I've been coming to Paul's for 12 years now. They are always consistent with freshness, goot taste & presentation. Also the best chili cheese fry & grilled ham & cheese this side of Detroit Coney island restaurants. Fast & friendly service. I check them out every time while working in the area. You should try the turkey burger & salads they are huge.
This place is always playing 50’s music and has such good food. Been going here since I was a kid. The Philly cheesesteak and chicken gyro salad are two options that just can’t be beat. This place has the best seasoned fries and even really good Mexican food. I love their taquitos! It’s impressive how consistent this place is in serving quality fast food. Can’t recommend Paul’s Place enough.
If you like familiarity and fresh food choose this place. Workers here smile.
Each time I come here I can't help to think what a great value this place is. Its also self serve which makes it nicer sometimes. Not as noisy as the internationally hopping place. I love the fact that I can carry on an actual conversation while eating. What a novel idea.. clear conversation. Its truly a great spot for breakfast mtgs.
Been eating here for decades! Glad they survived the pandemic. So many choices, all are great! My favorite is the colossal burger and one order of fries will feed a family!! Great place!!
Not cheap but not off the chart prices. Good portions, giant onion rings, ample seating and parking.
It was our first time there, and we thought it was a sit-down restaurant with a server, not a walk-up and order restaurant, but the food quality was that of a sit-down. We were very pleased and would visit again next time we're in the area.
The bad thing about eating here the booths are not fat friendly. I got there collosale burger and I get the mushrooms really good.
Great food and excellent service. Fantastic home made ranch dressing. Best pastrami sandwich you’ll ever eat!
Our go-to breakfast spots. Love the chicken fired steak and eggs. The last time we visited, I noticed everything was now served on paper plates. It's not a big deal, I'm pretty sure it's a cost savings. Food prices stayed the same.
This has been 1 of my personal favorite restaurant since early 90's Also Volcano burger, his brother place right across from the high-school los alamitos.
This is a very nice place. The food is very well cooked. French fries are my choice always. Last time I had a very tasty sandwich. The people working there are very kind and always working with customer attitude. It is always clean and tidy. I must say that fries were not as good a couple of weeks ago. We tried them 2 different times in different days. Quality is poor if you ask me.
One of the best Mexican plates! The size is big, two giant tacos enough for an adult, and comes with beans and rice, lettuce, and comes with cream, salsa, avocado sauce as sides. It was delicious, and a great price at $10.99 (not all stores at same price) the other store at Los alamitos is $12.99 And a great burger, good size, juicy, everything in it couldn't be better.
I've never heard of this place before I went. I got the box of food, and my jaw dropped. It was so heavy. There is so much food for how much I paid. Then, when we ate, it was also awesome. Thank you for the hangover cure. AWESOME Breakfast burritos!!
very good experience here! this isn’t your typical burger spot. I got a salad kind of like a starter before I got my fish and chips. being someone who doesn’t eat enough greens, I can appreciate a small salad. thought it was also cool that they included a couple onion rings with my fries.
I always enjoy a burger from Paul’s Place these burgers are for certain quality taste is quality and leaves you full and satisfied after your done! Also I love how much fries you get they are not stingy with the fries!! Worth the price for the meal you definitely get what you pay for here that’s all I can say!!
Always great service and food. Our go to local food place
Great breakfast. Along with the food being proportioned to the price
Excellent pastrami sandwich. Huge enough for my husband & I to share. Onion rings were also massive & came with lots of ranch dressing. My first time there and will definitely be back. Added plus - the drive thru.
First of all, I love the set up of this restaurant. The ambiance is so welcoming. I had their California burger, and it was delicious. Their chili cheese fries were ok, but they weren't terrible. Their prices were decent. I'm definitely going back to try more of their menu, but I definitely recommend it!
This is a really nice casual diner. With both inside and patio dining, this restaurant also has a drive-thru that serves burgers and Mexican food. Both dining areas are very clean. This family-friendly eatery has friendly employees who ensure that your meal is cooked well and promptly. After having driven past this place MANY times, I am glad I finally dropped in. I will be dropping in many more times and bringing friends to enjoy the dining experience here.
We love Paul's! We have been eating at all the locations near our home for years! Their Chili Burgers are my husband's favorite. I love their Pastrami Sandwich...tons of lean, yummy pastrami on a French roll with mustard and pickles. Their fries are crispy golden brown on the outside and fluffy on the inside. if you want something healthier their Chicken Caesar Salad has a full size grilled chicken breast that is juicy and flavorful with lots of fresh romaine, egg, avocado, etc. Or you can get that same chicken breast lettuce wrapped with tomato and mayo (add bacon for more flavor) or you can get it in a reg. sandwich... perfection! If your lucky to be there for breakfast, you name it, they will make it like you like it! The eggs were were perfectly cooked. I absolutely LOVE their hash browns! The bacon was made to order and the French toast was tasty! Paul's never disappoints!
The mushrooms are always great! Highly recommend them. The twister fries are good as well. Just about everything on the menu is good. Portions are big enough to share.
Fair warning, my rating is only based on my single experience, ordering one item and going through the drive-thru. HUGE order of fried zucchini, hot, delicious and completely perfect. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area and try something else.
Great, friendly service in old school diner booth atmosphere with order at the counter & a drive thru too. Food and prices are the best. Eclectic menu with lots of favorites on it but not a diner menu more like above average burgers, etc.. The breaded mushrooms are da bomb! Carne asada taco platter with crema, guacamole and Pico de gallo for $10.99 fa'getta about it!! Always very clean...always. My hidden go to place. Don't tell anyone.
Great place. The food is great. Gets busy on the weekends. This is a great place to eat
Delicious chili cheese fries!! And omg their salads are the best!!! Haven’t went in to experience the atmosphere and customer service (thx to COVID) but I will hopefully update my review on that, soon. I live just down the street from this Paul’s Place but I order off Postmates every time and it’s just fine! 😉 their philly cheese steak is yummy and so are their burgers.... but a root beer and chili cheese fries are my favorite combo!! 🔥
Food burger better and shorter wait time than In n out and plays good music that better than most people listen to on their $1000 airpod
Best char California burger in town, Pastrami is insane (little pricey) however it’s absolutely loaded with pastrami and not that cheap & fatty crap, it’s that quality prime beef pastrami all the way through the sandwich it’s absolutely amazing. 1” stacked meat.
I had the Mushroom burger. Cooked 🍳 just right test very good 👍 service was good 👍 clean of the place 👌 grate overall I give this place A+100%
Staff Super friendly, food is always fresh fresh fresh!! Ordered chicken strips chicken strips I love their fried mushrooms they're homemade zucchini and their homemade onion rings@ everything is to die for if you haven't tried it you need to. Parry melt is to die for with extra grilled onions.
Great food. Have eaten breakfast and dinner here and both were great. One time we went in for an early dinner and a lengthy visit and played some games. There wasn’t anyone near us, so it worked out great.
I come here when I have my dog groomed nearby. Nice people who yey to be helpful, the music is not blaring, the food is great! I asked for a tuna sandwich to be made into a tuna melt--no problem. My favorite sandwich was excellent!
Really delicious food! So amazingly good. I'll be going back as often as I can. I love that it has an indoor and covered outdoor seating
I love Paul's place! Don't live in the area but my kids do and whenever I'm there visiting I make it a point to stop to grab food! Honestly, they're burgers. Remind me of my childhood. They are so good! French fries are always cooked perfect, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's definitely a night time vibe for sure! Highly recommend!
Dine in meal. The food was hot and good. My hamburger bun did not break at all when I was eating. I loved that about the hamburger I got. Twister fried were good and crsipy, like I ask for. With a good about of ranch portion they give. The chicken salad was good and a great portion, they also give a little pita bread with it.
The diner was really good- I had never gone for breakfast before but it was delicious! I got a breakfast burrito and my husband got a steak and eggs plate. The coffee was good but it was self service, which can be a good thing or not depending on how much coffee you drink. The red salsa had a nice kick to it and the food came out hot and quick. Very enjoyable meal.
9/22/2025 = 11:45AM = 4 Star = 1st time to be here and i really enjoy the music and cleanliness of the place . I tried the sandwich and fries , but missing star , coz its not all day breakfast, not good for costumer woke up late . But still coming back soon .
This place has always made really good cheese burgers fries are ok the ranch always helps service was great and really friendly. The establishment is very clean
We love Paul's place! We've been coming here for years, even after moving. Their burgers are amazing. The only thing I would change is their kids burgers. They come with just ketchup and pickles and my kids didn't like them. Next time they're getting adult ones!
I love Paul's place. I have at least one favorite dish from their breakfast, lunch and dinner selections. Their Mexican Taco plate is very underrated for the amount of food you get. Their fried mushrooms and zucchini are like no other and their portions are very generous. Highly recommend their various sandwiches. Drive through can get hectic during rush hours but its worth the wait IMO.
Food was really good. Home style potatoes were the best, self serve coffee...yumm! Relatively large portions. We really enjoyed it. Only thing is the outside seating is two large tables, so you have to share with other people. That's why I took one star away. Service was good, staff was friendly and fast.
The best thing about this restaurant aside from the great food quality and drive thru is how impeccably clean it is. Honestly, I was blown away that there was no dust in the lobby. Even in hard to get places, I was delighted to SEE that they make cleanliness a priority and it makes the whole experience so much more pleasant for someone like me that notices those kinds of things. Prices are a little high, but you do get large portions and they are running a great business there.
I ordered the chicken strips plate To-go and was really satisfied with my meal! I unfortunately didn't take a picture of my meal but the portions were huge and it came with chicken strips, onion rings, fries and bread. I couldn't even finish it all because there was so much. The foods good and it's pretty popular so you should try it out and see how it goes. Paul's place has very clean and cozy atmosphere and next time I'm going to try to dine in.
This was a last minute visit. We lost track of time and wanted a good burger and fries for dinner. This place was open for another 30 minutes and no line. Nice customer service. My only complaint was that the microphone or something was not working. We had to keep repeating the order. They were blasting music, but still were friendly at the window. They gave us orange juice with no up charge to make up for not having horchata, tea, or pink lemonade available. They took a while but we ordered 2 fries well done. Overall, it was a pleasant visit. We've been here before way before closing time and it's always been REALLY good. Highly recommend if you don't want to cook.
My favorite burger place to go to. So many selections to choose from. The atmosphere is very loud and hectic. I go here every year or two and the price just keeps increasing and the portion sizes are starting to decrease which I am disappointed about.
The food is good. Drive-thru line area is limited!
Very good menu for every appetite. Great breakfasts. Like every place to eat a bit pricey but I think we're all accustomed to paying more than a few months ago.
When you spend almost $20 on food a visit since you opened that location. And why can't everyone read tickets better. 2 days in row. It's almost like you guys don't want my business anymore. I was in the industry to. So I'll just let it go and eat what if what I didn't want on my food is on it. 🤦♀️🙄💔 The last year or so I just let it. You shouldn't leave starving from breakfast here. Cause what you paid extra for is missing.... seared bacon etc. Pork and chicken can make people extremely sick..... I don't understand.
I came because i heard the fried zucchini was excellent. Yes, the fried zucchini is excellent. This is my first visit to this location. First, I ordered my zucchini, then I asked for a large unsweetened ice tea, they only have Brisk Lemon Tea. OK, so I asked for pink lemonade. They no longer have that, but they have Sprite. OK, next! I asked for a large Orange Whip (all of these items are on the drive-through menu board!). Sorry, they dont have this anymore .... Horchata .... no, we dont have this anymore. URGH! CHANGE YOUR MENU BOARD!!
THE ONION RINGS WERE GOOD...BUT THE MAIN ITEM WAS HORRIBLE...I ORDERED A GUACAMOLE DOUBLE BACON CHEESEBURGER AND THAT BURGER BEARLY HAD ANY GUACAMOLE...LITERALLY JUST A SMEAR OF GUAC...I MEAN IT WAS PRETTY DUMB...AND THE LITTLE GUACAMOLE THAT WAS DISGUSTINGLY SMEARED DIDNT TASTE THAT GOOD...LIKE IF THE PRICES WERE CHEAP...AND ALSO ORDERED A SAUSAGE BREAKFAST BURRITO ON ANOTHER OCCASION AND THE POTATO WAS SUPPER DRY ...MADE THE WHOLE BURRITO DRY AND TASTELESS...I GUESS YOU CANT EXPECT THAT MUCH QUALITY FROM THIS PLACE...EXPECT MAYBE THE ONION RINGS.
I haven't been big on burgers lately so I usually don't order them from Paul's. Their steak sandwich is good but too much chewy fat kills it. Their club sandwich is great as are the fried mushrooms!
My family really likes this place but I always seem to find it hard to find something on the menu. The pastrami, steak sandwich, and hamburgers are okay, but I do like the club sandwich. The breakfasts look good and it would be nice if they offered them in the evening like some of the other similar restaurants, but they don't. The restaurant itself is clean and the staff are very helpful, I just wish I could find more on their menu that I liked.
Good food but yall could update your times on Apple Maps… that would be nice. We came expecting still having an hour before clowning and it’s not 10pm but 9pm now. Just saying yall would get more business if opened later…
This place was highly rated and talked about... but it's rather lack luster. The sausage served to me was half semi warm, and half cold. Probably made before hand and sitting around. The eggs had bits of shell in them. Which means they use real eggs! But chewing shell is kinda yuck. Everything is kinda served "togo" with cardboard plates and plastic utensils and you have to get your own take out and serve your own coffee.... Everything is very "Eh". But nothing was BAD.
It's not full service. But The portions are huge for what you pay for. So it's really all about the food. If I lived closer I'd be hitting the drive-thru often. The drink choices were good. The ambiance is kinda nice. The diner music is great. The booths were not clean though, and there was only 1 we found that was clean enough to sit down at. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but not the dirtiest I've seen. Not a bad place though, especially if you are looking for the best bang for your buck on date night. I can't say I'll want to come back to sit-down though.
Food a service were great . Good portion . The only problem is they serve the dine in meal on paper and plastic.. so when we do dine out, I don't want to feel like your camping or eating at a park.
Las chicas q estan en el mostrador te atienden a ls carrera no te dan la oportunidad de aser preguntas sobre los alimento y platillos
Went for Sunday breakfast. They upped the prices since I went to this place last time. Quantity was fine quality not so good. Sausage over done and hard, pancakes far from a IHOP or even Norms. Service was non existent. I literally went to the counter where the waitress picks up your food and takes it to your table, and got it myself. Extra plates and knives and forks, got those for my guest and myself as well. The waitress never came to the table. I asked my girlfriend and her son if they could tip me for my good service. The 11 year old said "no, get the waitress to give you the tip". Next time, if there is a next time, I'm going to see if I can cook the food too. Film it, get it on you tube "the world's first truly self service restaurant"
Just had breakfast at Paul’s Cypress / Stanton. The toast wasn’t served with their 3 eggs plate till later Ok....... maybe that’s really not worth bringing up....... but I did. Also ordered a Pastrami Combo $13.99 The Pastrami had no flavor the meat was too soft. WOW.......Really A great choice for the senior center for those who can’t chew. I still chew....... Well anyways folks...... not the Paul’s I remember. The staff was fine and the interior was as I remembered it. Best to them .... Best I go elsewhere
Breakfast was salty, service was great, atmosphere was what you'd expect from a Breakfast and lunch Burger place. Nice and good for a chat. But food was not pleasant. I've eaten here before and it was good. Don't know what happened today.
Ordered the Patty Melt. All cheese and bread, very thin piece of burger. Never order this
This place has gone downhill all the while raising their prices. They used to give you plenty of ranch for the zucchini and mushrooms,as well they should at over $8 a pop. Now they charge. The turkey on the club sandwich ($12.00) used to be shaved turkey, now it's comparable to Buddig. 🤢 Save yourself and head to the small, locally owned VOLCANO Burger
I’m from out of town for a week. Was looking for a local diner to eat and support. Chose this one off of online ad. Unfortunately big let down. No wait staff. Had to order food myself like fast food, but not fast food prices. Breakfast was served extremely fast and tasted like not much time was spent preparing. Plastic utensils were given to eat my meal. I asked for actual fork and knife and was told they didn’t have any.
Food could have been great if it wasn't for the fact that the lady just finish cleaning toilets and served us our food.. Mean while there was to servers at the front counter that could have made out experience alot better!!!! Really one star does justify my experience at this establishment!!! It took me almost 3 years to come back. The last time I had a burrito with a long hair in it!!
Rudest drive through worker I have ever heard in my life with attitude the whole time if you don't like working why are you here
I ordered a pastrami sandwich, on their own web site it stated price at $9.00 but it was $11.00 at the store. Perhaps the worst pastrami I have ever tasted and will not try it again at Paul’s Place. I was very disappointed. Sorry.
This is waaay too much onion (left some in the burger). Tacos had a ton too. The kids meals had only 2 thin chicken tenders..? The carne asada fries were cold and made the block of cheese they put get solid/chewy. (Wife couldn't eat it) I spent 40 bucks. I think for that price they should put some more attention on what they serve making sure what goes out is high quality/well presented. @paulsplace
