The server, Andrea, was super pleasant and attentive. The tomahawk porkchop was the best porkchop I've ever eaten. The fries were crispy and yummy. The spinach artichoke dip was fantastic. And the onion rings were battered perfectly and crispy and hot. I can't wait to go back.

This was our first time at this establishment and I must say WE WERE IMPRESSED. Omgosh our server, Rod, demonstrated exceptional professionalism, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The food was absolutely outstanding. That mesquite sauce did not disappoint and the fish was delicious. My husband is enjoying every piece of his rib and shrimp combo. We are all counting down to go BACKKKKKKKK.

We've been several times now and the service is always great. Food is really good (with the exception of the Mac & Cheese). Burgers are good, chicken fried chicken (and steak) are good. We like the jalapeño hush puppies a lot. Desserts are great as well. I tried the ceviche and enjoyed it. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in for lunch on Sunday Jan 21. We were greeted immediately and sat straight away. We ordered drinks and got them pretty quickly. Daughter really enjoyed her Arnold Palmer (sweet tea and lemonade), I had sweet tea and it was delicious and my wife had a draft Yellow Rose from the Lone Point Brewery in Magnolia which is one off her favorites. We tried the chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken with Mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans and jalapeño hush puppies as sides. My daughter went for breakfast with the buttermilk pancakes and extra crispy bacon. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken were very flavorful. Made to order so they were hot and delicious when served. The gravy had great flavor as well. The mashed potatoes were well seasoned. Really enjoyed the jalapeño hush puppies. The only item that was a little substandard was the Mac and cheese and it wasn't bad, it just wasn't at the same level as the other sides. Oh forgot to mention that my wife had the green beans which the waiter had recommended and she really enjoyed them. Very flavorful (the bacon added that extra level) and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Refills were timely. No pressure to hurry. We sat and watched the replay of the Rockets v Utah Jazz game from last night and chit chatted and never felt rushed even though they were definitely starting to fill up tables. Can definitely recommend this spot and we'll be back to try the hamburger! All in all a very enjoyable meal. Went back Saturday 5-23-2024. Service was outstanding. Son loved his burger again. Daughter had wings which she said were pretty good. I had the chicken fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The chicken fried chicken was really good, garlic mashed were pretty good but the Mac and cheese was not good at all. Got the jalapeño hush puppies again as I really like those. Wife tried the ceviche which she really enjoyed. We also split the brownie and ice cream. The brownie is enormous. Like really huge. Our server I believe was Alex and he was outstanding. Stayed on top of everything. Oh and the sweet tea was excellent again! I continue to highly recommend you stop in if you're in the area (but skip the Mac & Cheese).

Beginning of the work week need to find somewhere to eat, stop at the Texas Mesquite for a delicious burger costing around the same as McDonald's or Burger King but cooked fresh. Real fresh pickles, tomatoes and lettuce. Samuel give excellent service, very friendly cook, listening to great country music 🎶😄. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were passing through on our way home after driving from Florida. SO glad we found this place! This was actually the best food we had on our whole vacation. We have fairly high expectations for restaurants and our entire experience was great. The restaurant was decorated well and very comfortable, we sat outside with our kids and there was plenty of shade and fans. Food was all excellent and there is definitely a lot of attention given to their quality of ingredients. I had steak, husband had salmon, kids had chicken tenders and everything was so delicious that we opted to get the brownie for dessert. I only wish you guys had another, closer location but I’m sure we’ll be back! Big thanks to our server Corey who was patient and attentive. :)

Kids wanted breakfast, so we stopped in for Sunday breakfast which they have until 2pm. The kids plates were surprisingly a good size, which was nice to see. Most restaurants these days will give such a small amount. The salmon plate was off the regular menu and it came with two sides. I wasn’t expecting the bbq flavor, but it was pleasantly good. The cilantro rice was as well. Glad we tried this spot out. It looks to be a local favorite for many.

It was our first time visiting(a Sunday). They offered a $3.95 kid's meal special, which my son got the ribs and he enjoyed it. My daughter got the pancakes (it also included a side of potatoes and beans), only thing she didn't like was how much butter they put on it but she scooted it off to the side. My husband got the eggs Benedict, he really enjoyed the hollandaise sauce which had a bit of spice, he wasn't crazy about the egg. And then I had the sirloin, cooked medium, I think it was slightly under but still delicious. I loved the sear and flavor of the steak, my sides were good as well: garlic mashed potatoes with a white gravy and mac & cheese. The portions were right. Our total was $57. The waitress was attentive and checked on us regularly. Would definitely recommend and most likely return to try other menu items.

Was amazing!!!!! Great place. Noise level was great too could have a conversation without having to yell! Staff was friendly and fast. I will definitely come back to this location (with my whole family) perfect for date night! I've been here twice. Both times—one wknd, one wk night—we were greeted and seated promptly. The server arrived quickly to take our order and the food was delivered within the expected ticket time for our orders. The frozen margaritas are tasty. We have tried the brisket bites, BBQ ribs, crawfish, and brownie a la mode. The BBQ wasn't particularly memorable but it definitely didn't disappoint either. The brisket bites were not worth the price. The crawfish were a good size and well cooked and seasoned, not just dusted like some other restaurants around here do. The brownie was huge but it has no nuts and it was pretty dry. It came with a scoop of ice cream that was dwarfed by the size of the brownie. Our waitress did offer to bring an additional scoop, but we declined because we didn't need the extra calories or enjoy the brownie enough to go to the effort. I'd skip the brownie and try a different dessert. Overall, each visit was pleasant. My impression is that the service is better than the food. Still, it's a solid option.

Love the Texas inspired theme inside the restaurant! The server was great and very attentive with a smile. Tons of fried or grilled food options, the shrimp gumbo was great but the po boy was lacking in the sauce department. Food Presentation was great and the atmosphere was very laid back.

Update: We went there a couple of weeks ago and had a waiter we hadn't before. This was probably the first questionable waiter that we've ever had here and we've been here several times in the last couple months. It just seemed overworked and forgetful. He was okay, but if I went there again and they set me in his section, I probably would request someone else. He forgot certain drinks. I asked for no lemon on my water and he brought lemon on the water and on my mixed drink. On top of it, the drink was severely salted not just the rim but even the peach margarita itself, and it had to be remade. Like I said, the food is always good here, and typically the services, but this time mediocre in service. Let me start by saying it wasn't sure I was going to like this place. We walked in and it was decorated well, a little bit chilly where we fat young boy seated us and pointed to a waitress to candidly ignored him and kept moving. B they can wait it again 15 minutes before a guy walked past, look at our cable and asked had we been helped. We told him no, So he took our drink orders, which were frozen margaritas, and a sampler, but they didn't have any frozen left. So we opted for water. There was some dried food on my side of the table as well as something on the outside of my husband's cup, minor stuff. When the sampler came out, I am usually tried one of the bacon wrapped quail bites, 😋. Let me tell you they were out of this world. Fantastic. The meat was tender and moist, and the flavor, You could taste the char and the smoke and the grill. I also had jalapeno poppers on the plate, inside there is a shrimp, so beware if you have seafood allergies, but those were good as well. Onion rings which taste a lot like a onion pedal and look like them too. And wings, we got the Asian flavored ones which is a honey glaze. The wings were really good as well, though the actual when itself whacked flavor or seasoning, the glaze was very good. For my entree I chose the chicken brenham, which is a grilled chicken breast topped with spinach, and cheese. You can really taste the grill on the chicken breast. I was surprised how moist it is. I also opted for the mixed vegetables which were good And also tasted of the grill, though lacking some seasoning, and the garlic mashed potatoes didn't taste garlicky at all. My husband opted for chicken fried steak, but didn't want his after he tasted mine lol. He loved the flame grilled taste of my chicken brenham. They do a very good job of that here. He said his chicken fried steak was just okay, he had the garlic mashed potatoes and cilantro rice as his sides. He did like the cilantro rice. To finish the me on my husband got the pecan pie. He thought it was okay. I don't really like pie, but I did taste it. The pecans tasted fresh, but the filling was overly sweet and I didn't like that or the taste. The pie didn't taste as if it was baked there, though it was warm. The crust, I wasn't able to break with a fork and had to put a lot of force into breaking it with my hand to try. It tasted very plain like a saltine, and was not for me. Our waiter did a great job of keeping our water filled, and checking back on us many times. I definitely would come here again. The food surprised me and the waiter, Alex, his hospitality was top-notch.
