I’m not a Texan. Spaghetti highways, hot weather, strip malls, and urban sprawl are my 6th layer of hell. That being said, I started dating a Dallas girl, and so I’ve resolved to cultivate an open mind and seek some slice of home here. I love places that feel antique, lived in, whimsical, and authentic. Thank God for AllGood Cafe. Vibes: 10/10. It feels mega-cozy and deeply connected to the local music scene. Band posters, signed photos, battle-bruised tables with decades-old stories underneath, uneven floors… it’s perfect. I would come here just to soak up the vibes even if the fare were subpar. But it turns out, the menu here slaps just as hard as the vibes. Everything we had was made with soul. They make seriously CRACKED comfort food. Couldn’t recommend this place more.

I had the biscuits topped with eggs, queso, gravy, sausage, bacon bits, pico, avocado, and jalapeños. On the side I ordered chicken fried chicken with gravy. Absolutely delicious. The flavors and texture all blend well. They don’t have a combo that includes the chicken with these flavors which is why I ordered it on the side. The chicken is flavorful and crispy. Comes out hot. They say they open up at 8am but when I got there it was closed and didn’t open until about 8:15am so heads up on time. I’d recommend getting there a little after the open time. It was a Tuesday, so it was a little slower. I’m surprised it’s not as full for breakfast. This place is amazing. Parking is a little challenging as there’s only street parking which fills up and you have to pay.

Everything is definitely ALL GOOD here. Like eating at a friend's house. Food and the staff are top notch. Scratch margaritas, homemade meatloaf (not as good as mine, but close :)). Get the grilled cheese..you wont regret it!

I love AllGood Cafe! Every time I come, the food is excellent. They have a diverse Texas home style menu with selections for even the pickiest eaters. Ithe cheeseburger is one of the best I've ever had and the the house made potato chips are to die for. The service is friendly and relaxed. It's a classic diner vibe.

This place was amazing! I went on a Monday morning. Wasn’t crowded at all. The staff were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the South Austin Migas and my friend ordered the 3 egg omelette. The food was so good. We also order the carafe of mimosas it was so delicious and worth the $15. I loved that they let us get a little of each juice (orange juice, pineapple juice & cranberry juice) for our mimosas. We were able to get 3 1/2 glasses each. Everything was fresh. Would definitely go back.

Love this down to earth place with great food and great mimosas! We had the breakfast tacos and the breakfast #2, both of which were large portions that neither of us finished. The food was delicious, well priced and the service was fast and friendly. I will definitely be back!

You can't get a better Deep Ellum breakfast than one at the All good Cafe! The eggs were fresh and cooked to order. The peppercorn bacon was sizzling and delightful. The oven potatoes were better than hash browns and I love hash browns! Coffee was robust and served fresh and hot. Wait staff was courteous and cheerful. Atmosphere is superb any time of day! You can't go wrong with a selection from this breakfast menu.

Great Establishment!!! Staples to the this community. The service was outstanding. The Food very tasty, served hot and fresh! Our daughter lives two blocks from here, and says she is frequently because of the consistency of their product. We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent!!!

Beside my Mac n cheese I thought pecan lodge location in Deep Ellum had me nope . All good diner Mac n cheese beat pecan lodge location. If u want some southern good eating u gotta try the chicken fried chicken I felt as if the love of my life was giving me a hug with every bite and the staff adding onto the great take out experience. Kudos all good diner for serving great tasting hot actual food nothing processed fast food . PS who taught them how to make cornbread this good my favorite go to whenever I don’t feel like cooking

We ordered lunch from here today for 8 people. From the time of order, through being ready and picked up and delivered went really smooth and happened totally about 30 minutes. Our food arrived warm, everything was as ordered, and they were large helpings for a lunch order. 2 people got the chicken fries chicken and it was pretty big. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich. Mine was very good and medium on spicy, but I like spicy so it may seem not as spicy to me, I could have used more. Everyone liked the food had no issues on flavor or presentation, everything was great! Will eat at AllGood Cafe again!

Coming here solo as a brown guy from Toronto was a very interesting experience. Black culture where I'm from is predominantly Caribbean, Southern Black culture is something I've only had third-person experience of. I was circling the neighbourhood for a bit, unsure of where I should go since I was on my own. There was a girl promoting the place outside of the club, she told me it was still free entry at that point of the night so I was sold. Pat down was thorough, which is understandable given the local gun culture. I ordered the Red Ball subbed with vodka from a chill bartender, price was right especially for a club. It was very early in the night so the main floor wasn't very active yet, so after some time I wet up to the rooftop to vibe out. I noticed a sign that prohibited cannabis...but EVERYONE was smoking blunts hahaha. The vibe on the rooftop was cool, it was awesome hearing southern rappers in a club like Lil Boosie, Webbie etc. because you don't ever hear that type of music in Toronto clubs. People weren't exactly friendly but not hostile either, I felt comfortable even though I was by myself.

Bartender was cool and trying to make small talk. We got there at 9pm so too early bc it was dead but he showed me a video of it packed at 1am so will have to come back later. The DJ was throwing jams! Good music. I liked the roof top vibe.

The cheeseburger was amazing, however, the pomme frites were cooked oddly, some pieces crispy, rubbery. I wish I could have just had regular chips and salsa like what comes with other dishes on the menu but I respected their "no substitutions" disclaimer. Furthermore, what's up with the canned Cokes? And no warning on the menu that it's canned and not a fountain? I would have ordered something else to drink had I known.

We had lunch here on December 03, 2025 and it was ok. I was generous with my rating but our waitress made up for the so-so food. The atmosphere was interesting and about what I expected for Deep Ellum. It was expensive for what we got.

AllGood offers a pretty good breakfast at a reasonable price. I had their biscuits and gravy and breakfast potatoes, at the recommendation of my waitress. It wasn't the best plate of either that I've ever had, but it was pretty dang good nonetheless. Note that if you order sausage with your gravy, as is offered on the menu, it'll come on the side; you are not ordering sausage gravy (contrary to what I thought lol). The progressive atmosphere was a nice respite from the stereotypical deep Texan politics, too.

Love the rooftop area of this place. The downstairs area is pretty small. I don't like the new "dance floor" area. Too small. I liked it better when it was Red Light Lounge. Other than that, it's a chill spot to hang out for drinks and listen to music.

If you're of a certain culture, you'll most likely enjoy this place. The staff was nice, the drinks came quick. Plenty of security guards everywhere. Very good pat down upon entry. The upstairs dance floor was large and if not so cold out probably quite fun. Definitely a place for people liking some booty shaking rap music. I wasn't quite in that kind of dance mood.. lol

I dig The Nines, the women are attractive and active (dancing, drinking and sociable). There is not much negativity from the fellas and the staff assists you the whole night from behind the bar to the front door. Nice location, they are near other bars and restaurants. I have a good time every/time I go.

My bestie and I came here for brunch. I had heard great reviews and decided to try it out. The breakfast was okay. It was a bit crowded when we came, but we were seated in a timely fashion. The mimosas were great! My friend had breakfast #2, and I had breakfast #1. She enjoyed her pancakes. They were fluffy and light. My breakfast was okay. The potatoes were crispy and slightly warm. The best part was the peppered bacon!! I would say the restrooms could be cleaned more often, but as it's busy, they may get overlooked. We stayed until the rush cleared and enjoyed more mimosas!! The prices are decent. EDIT: Note to owner: The 3 🌟 is the average overall experience, not just the restrooms.

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to celebrate my special day here with friends and family but once we arrived everything went downhill. They refused to seat us despite showing proof of our reservation and after waiting almost half an hour we were finally seated. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to bring it up and refused to hear us out. I totally understand the pressure restaurant owners carry but to go out your way and literally tell us to "get out and find a diff club" is ridiculous. Unfortunately, the night was ruined, I would hate for anyone to go through the same experience.

Charged $90 for parking and when I left I was harassed by a guy trying to force me to let him wash my windshield with his bucket and squeegee. There are no gates or parking lot attendants/security or any indication this is a paid parking lot. I was parked here for 3 hours and received a letter saying I parked illegally and owe $90. No parking is that is expensive. I didn’t even spend that much at the club that night. Not safe, ripped off, stay away from this place!

Bouncer that was there tonight needs to go thru training again or something. Groped an entire group of dudes and asked my non binary partner to tell him what exact gender they are so he knew if he should pat them down. Why not just use the wand and let them go on their way? Definitely needs to become educated so this doesn’t happen to more people. Won’t be coming back.

Last time i went i had one drink & the room started spinning & i started throwing up… i think that says it all. Never going there again, i didn’t feel normal till that sunday, mind you i went on a Friday..

So I’m leaving a one star review because if google could let me leave a zero I would most definitely give it to this “club/bar” for being the worst establishment in Deep Ellum. This bar is disgustingly prejudice. I recently just went last Saturday with me and a couple of girlfriends, me being the only guy out the group who is 5’0 foot, the shortest and smallest out of them, and pretty much everyone else inside the bar was literally manhandled and harassed by a security guard for using the bathroom. Pushed me to the ground for no reason. Behind this, told my friend that he was about to put his hands on me while I’m inside the bathroom?? (And so y’all are not confused the bathroom is for both male and females, it’s literally just one bathroom for whoever needs to use it, even has a sign showing that right outside the door) So when I come out I’m literally on the floor confused as ever to be on the GROUND!!! For NO reason!!! Men like him have a big insecurity issue within themselves for you to go out your way and hurt others who don’t pose a threat and are just being themselves and I’m only writing this review for a lawsuit because once I tried to still be the bigger and responsible person after I was the one getting touched for no reason, I tried talking to the bartender, security outside and several other workers to get the security name and all I got was “were not obligated to give out that information” asked to speak to a manager “I’m the manager for the night” apparently every person I spoke with is a manager up there which is beyond hilarious and ridiculous. But I thank god for the support system I have… filed a police report and spoke with a lawyer, it’s tragic people still have to deal with this kind of stuff in 2024.

I was the only one in the restaurant, and yet it took the waitresses 8 minutes to take my order. Mom's tuna salad sandwich. It was cut in triangles a whole piece of lettuce. When I tried to lift it and took a bite, it fell apart. The chips were stale. I had to find my waitresses to get my check. There was a 9 piece band warming up a lot of feedback from the speakers. Just when the band was starting, I was leaving.
