I had the pleasure of being served by Kevin while I was there. He was wonderful. He got my special order perfect, exactly how I requested. He kept checking on me the whole time I was there and for wait staff, that is definitely a plus. I also ran into Robert, I really miss him. He ran a few places in Deep Ellum in the past and I haven't seen him in years. You've definitely got 2 great people on your team with these two.

Place was clean, service was great, the food is very tasty and high quality. Our server Rhonda was able to answer all our questions with ease and managed to help us select good food. The chef, and the manager Adriana were so sweet too and made sure to answer my wife's question about allergies. We will definitely come back again

Stopped by for lunch and saw my good friend Robert, former GM from Maracas, is currently working there. I've eaten at many Denny's and this is one of the best. It's clean, very well run, service was prompt and food was good. I'll definitely be back. In a time of escalating food prices, I found my lunch affordable Turn to the back of the menu for budget friendly items.

This spot is great to enjoy time with family while having a good breakfast/lunch/dinner etc and the service is good everyone is nice here.

UPDATE: After I left the review I was reached back out to. The gentleman Robert had called me and he apologized for everything that happened and wanted to make it right. He was so communicative and understandable. When I went back my server was Nicole she was polite, kind and easy going. I said I would update my review. Thank you for making it right and reaching out to me. The professionalism and customer service of both Robert and Nicole were great and beyond appreciative. The food was great. :) Happy customer OLD: I don’t usually leave reviews unless I need to. This was really bad I don’t understand how it has 4.5 stars. Got here at 9 and it was already 10:15 and still nothing only drinks. Asked the waiter he said “oh I don’t know why the order wasn’t put in” then we waited still patiently and asked again and was told “they’re backed up”. I said well 4 tables already served came in 20-30mins after and still got their food before ours. Finally after almost hour food was coming and everything was wrong scrambled when asked for over easy, pancakes were not chocolate, sides missing, and when I asked I’m missing my sons food response was “oh what did he order”. Manager seemed to not care so we just left 1hr wasted. Terrible customer service, terrible excuses and it wasn’t even packed. There was only 2 adults and 1 toddler and they couldn’t even get that right. Do better Dennys in this location.

Most of the Denny's in our area are running a $5.99 Grand slam special. NOT THIS ONE! But in all fairness, they really don't need to. They are very busy without any promos. Food quality was standard Denny's, which is pretty good. Service was pretty good considering how busy they were. The atmosphere is standard Denny's, fairly clean and kind of a modern-ish interpretation of a diner.

The waiter look sleepy, and tired. I want a fresh coffee supposedly it took three minutes even though I got it within 10 minutes coffee tasted burnt and old real better. And how are you going to not have coffee so early in the morning , yes, I went in at six in the morning for breakfast . as I was waiting for my other guest coming in with me, they didn’t get their drinks until we were halfway through our food. Sucked! waited 15 minutes to be seated then left 30 minutes later after no service; not even water. No acknowledgement at all. HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!

Ordered the Bourbon chicken skillet to go and it was the absolute worst. Chicken was too tough to eat. Like old leftovers from the day before. And dry like chicken jerky. Was like the cook didn't even care to even try to do a good job. Had similar results at other Dennys locations. Never tried this location and based on the reviews thought I would give it a try. It was the worst. Scratched Dennys off the list. Never again.
