Sat at the bar on a breezy weekday with the doors up. It was very inviting atmosphere and the air felt quite nice. I ordered the brisket and sausage plate w/Mac-n-chz & ML baked beans. The brisket was on the smoker side, but I personally enjoy it. Very nicely cooked, great smoke ring, excellent flavor. The sauce is both slightly sweet and tangy, not over-powering. It pairs nicely with the smoke to mask if you don't like as much of the smoke flavor. The sausage was cooked well and a little charred. The baked beans were not too sweet, rich with great flavor as well. The Mac was creamy, never dry but not drowned in sauce either. Also great flavor. Served with enough barbecue sauce for all the meat. Bonus points because the pickle was not a sweet one and they give you a plain roll and sweet corn bread.

We had an amazing time at Maple Landing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of that Southern comfort charm. The food was absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and served hot. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they do. A special shoutout to our waiter, David, who truly made the evening memorable. He was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. His recommendations were spot-on, and his service elevated the entire experience. If you’re in Dallas and looking for a great spot for comfort food, good drinks, and outstanding service, Maple Landing is the place to go. We’ll definitely be back!

I absolutely loved the whole experience tonight ... Rick was amazing, the service was top notch and his food recommendations were absolutely perfect. The brussel sprouts and pork belly grilled cheese were great! Also had a drink - Blackberry Lemonade - so good!

Brunch Highlights: 🍗 Chicken Strips 🥩 Brisket Brunchlidas 🥓 Pork Belly Eggwich Lunch Favorites: 🔥 Smoked Chicken Wings 🥑 Bacon Avocado Burger 🧀 Pork Belly Grilled Cheese with a side of Brussels Sprouts And because we couldn’t stop there, we wrapped it all up with 🌽 Elotes and 🍌 Banana Bourbon Bread Pudding. Every dish was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. The consistency between visits is impressive, and the creativity in the menu keeps you wanting more. If you’re looking for bold flavors and unforgettable bites, this is the spot. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We found this place by chance and couple of Saturdays ago and what a great find. I was surprised when we first walked in because at first glance I thought it was a bar with a few tables. Turns out they have lots of dining space in a fun casual space. The menu is big and everything sounded good. We decided to have one brunch and one lunch item sharing blueberry pancakes and a pastrami brisket sandwich. I'm not kidding when I say everything was delish! The pancakes were fluffy with the biggest blueberries I've ever seen. We opted to get the real maple syrup and it is worth every penny. The sandwich is one of the best Reubens I've had in the Dallas area. It has the perfect crunch on the marble rye, good sauerkraut and incredible brisket pastrami. Chef's Kiss! Even the fries are worth talking about, crispy, well seasoned and somehow still light. Our server was great, she answered every question I had on the menu. We'll definitely be back.

January 2026 We were near this area and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. Kind of slow for the January chill afternoon. Very quiet during our visit. I thin this is most likely an evening bar and drink spots. Our brisket is ok and we have better one. My patty melt was pretty good but looked burned. Not sure we will return even though this restaurant has a lot of reviews.

Nice spot to enjoy the weather with outside seating which including several big screen t.v.s Chicken and waffles were great . Brisket sandwich was tender ( wish the sauce was sweeter ) . Sweet potato fries were great . Bourbon bread pudding was superb (only lacked a scoop of homemade vanilla ice cream). Staff was pleasant .

Got a chance to try this place for dinner recently. Initially I went there for a burger but changed my mind to give their brisket a try. This plate comes with brisket, sausage, two sides, a dinner roll, cornbread and a pickle spear. The sides I chose were potato salad and Mac and cheese. Brisket was fine and the sides were good. Not sure if they make the sausage in house but to me it was nothing special. I did not like the BBQ sauce. The burgers that my family ordered were both really good. They had a pretty good local beer selection on tap. I would like to go back to give one of the brisket sandwiches a shot.

A sports bar-like atmosphere with decent burgers that also happens to smoke brisket on the side Have always been curious because I live nearby. Came here with my wife for dinner. Ordered the bacon and avocado burger with housemate fries. I got the brisket and sausage plate with Carolina slaw and Chipotle potato salad. David our server was patient and kind and recommended the brisket options. Service was fast and food was out quick. Some small tables that you can combine with bar seating and ample patio seating. Right off the bat, the burger was solid. You can choose medium or well done. The brisket was decent for a place that's not dedicated as a BBQ joint but didn't blow me away in terms of tenderness and flavor. The sausage I agree with others did kinda taste like a store bought sausage. It was 3 slices of brisket, 1 sausage, 1 cornbread, 1 dinner roll, 2 sides for $17. Not a great deal meat wise but enough to fill you with the sides. The fries were crispy, the slaw was vinegar based and not bad, the Chipotle potato salad was surprisingly good. Good flavor, not spicy. Overall, the burger and sides carried this rating. BBQ was as expected from a non BBQ joint. I would expect their brisket combination menu items to do a lot better since their brisket is good enough where it'd complement well in a sandwich or poutine but it's not stellar enough to stand on its own. Overall, I would come back since it's close by and am curious about their brunch menu and the brisket melt that our server recommended.

So when you Google this place or Google Maps and ask, do you recommend this place for late night dining and Google says number one spot if you ask? Or if you ask Google Maps, where's a great place for dinner near Love Field late at night, this is the number one place That pops up, then you get there and they tell you no, no are bars open, but sorry, the kitchen is closed, so somebody needs to fix that because you could spend a half hour getting to this place, what's your there, you find out no nothing to eat. At this time, you can get a drink, but our kitchen is closed, so someone has to look at that. But look like a nice place.

Had the brisket sandwich with fries. The brisket wasn't very flavorful (even a little salt would help) but the fries were crispy and salty. I probably wouldn't get the brisket again but I may return to try another menu item. Our server was polite and kept checking in, so I appreciated that. Another manager person checked in on us twice too, so we felt cared for.

I went to Maple Landing on 2/26 at 9:51 PM. Upon entry, a tall white man let us know the kitchen closed in 9 minutes. No worries, we just wanted something quick, so we immediately placed our order once we got settled at the bar. Our server/bartender, the unpleasant, pudgy Emily P., made it clear from the jump that we were not welcome. The energy was cold, dismissive, and honestly rude. After ordering, my partner turned to me and said, “It’s almost like we’re an inconvenience.” That perfectly described the entire experience. No warmth. No hospitality. Not even the bare minimum effort to make paying customers feel comfortable. We ate our food and had to wave Emily down multiple times just to get drinks and a beer. It felt like we were bothering her every time we needed something — which is wild considering it’s literally her job. What really put the cherry on top was at 10:31 PM, right before we decided enough was enough, when a shorter Black employee (everyone was congregating in the corner of the restaurant so who even knows who was actually working) walked up to Emily and said, “I would hug you but you’re sick.” Absolutely disgusting. Why is someone who’s openly sick behind the bar serving people? Overall, the service was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and gross. If customers walking in AN HOUR before closing time is that big of an inconvenience, just say that. On top of all of this, Emily was still given a 16% tip despite her service deserving NOTHING.

Overall I’ve never had a problem with this place, always in and out with my order with a couple beers while waiting. Today was another story due to some event, bartender was doing the best she could for the amount of orders she had, but coworkers just looking at people at the bar, including me, waiting for refills/ tickets. In my case, both. Got my pizza waiting 20 mins just for the bartender to comeback around after I was talking to a coworker about the price of my beer. Was honestly going to pay for beer and leave the pizza. Hopefully better next time…
