Got the Big Cat Sandwich and it did not disappoint. It was so flavorful. I’ve never had Mac and cheese on a burger but it was amazing. Brisket was tender and the BBQ sauce was delicious. I wish I could have time to pack one for my flight back to Chicago because it’s that good.

So I got to be honest. I decided to try this place because i saw it on TikTok lol. I'm always looking for new places to eat and try the food and this place looked delicious. We went with the whole family and ask of us quite enjoyed it. I got the 2 meat plate with brisket and burnt ends. Green Chile mac and cheese and onion rings. The meats were delicious. I kinda like my burnt ends a little more crispy but they were still delicious. I wanted to try the deserts but we were so full that I didn't even attempt to. 100% would recommend if your looking for a great BBQ to eat. And a great environment for the whole family.

We found ourselves down near Love Field around lunch time so we stopped into Heim's Barbecue for the first time. The entire experience was top notch and will definitely eat here again. Taylor picked the one meat plate with two sides, sliced brisket with okra and green chili mac and cheese. I got the same plate, sliced brisket with green beans and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious, hot and very tender. My personal rating scale for a good brisket is one that doesn't need anything else on it, perfect straight out of the smoker. The house made bbq sauce is very nice too, I put it on the green beans. An outdoor patio is available, a must for us and our dog Buddy. He will definitely be joining us the next time we visit.

Spectacular brisket and bacon burnt ends! Wow! This barbecue was SO good- a nice slice of brisket, mouth watering and perfectly done! Had some excellent bacon burnt ends as well! The green chili Mac and cheese was okay- added some zip with the self serve jalapeño’s you can get. Great open location. Food came out pretty quickly and the staff was helpful. Good place to have delicious dinner and a good talk. Highly recommend.

Best bbq brisket and bacon burnt ends I ever had!! Even the potato salad was outstanding! A don't miss when near Love field.

Went during busy lunch hour and food was ready fairly quickly. If you know BBQ, you'll know they haven't cut corners and rushed things.

It’s good bbq. Above average. In our party we had brisket, sausage, and chicken. They didn’t have turkey. Something about supply chain issues which was disappointing. Chicken was decent but could have used more smoke flavor. Green beans are really good, and not your typical bbq place green beans. Fries were average. Sausage, fried okra, and Mac and cheese all passed the test: super convenient to Love field. Prices are reasonable. Will go back when on an airport run!

Finally trying Heim’s BBQ! My company ordered catering for holiday lunch. We had brisket, smoked turkey, baked beans and potato salad. The brisket was surprisingly still moist and was super flavorful. Pretty solid! The turkey was thinner sliced so it became a little dry after transfer and set up. I think if the slices were thicker it could have retained more of the moisture. Baked beans were actually tasty, not so sauced up but looser consistency. Potato salad, pass. Just not really much favor. Overall, solid brisket. I would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Service was a bit slow as people were standing and talking while I was standing at the register until someone noticed I was there. The 2 different beers on tap I requested were out, then the bottled beer was not cold. The brisket is decent but the pork ribs were on point.

Beyond disappinted. The pulled pork was moist had no smoke flavor. Just tasted llike a roasted pork loin. The portion was mostly fat. 2 pictures the meat to fat ratio The brisket was dry. Coleslaw was dry mac and cheesecwas ok.if it was hot it didn't stay warm. It was 1 pm.just past lunch it looked busy I dont know what people get

We loved Heim's. The meat was juicy. The twice baked potato salad was delicious as well as the green chile mac & cheese. We loved the brisket and mac & cheese sandwich. The sauce wasn't to heavy or sweet.

It’s been a few years since last eating here and I remember it being so good—the first time having their bacon burnt ends was one of the best things I have ever eaten. This time did not match that memory; while the burnt ends were definitely the best things on my plate and were tasty, everything was just slightly lackluster. Brisket texture was good but a little flavorless, Hurtado has a much richer, smokier taste. Sausage was good, sides also, if a little inconsistent. All the meats were slightly south of lukewarm in temp; not quite cold but not as expected. Service was very good—fast, friendly.

Heim Barbeque is a convenient option if you are flying in or out of Love Field. I had the jalapeño cheddar sausage sandwich with fries. I also tried my companion’s brisket. I liked the sausage but it didn’t blow me away. I think the bread got in the way. I think different bread would work better than what I had. It was too sweet. The brisket was about the same . It wasn’t bad, but just ok. I think if you are a local, you would probably explore other options first. I also think if you don’t eat barbecue regularly, you will enjoy it. Still, it’s decent and convenient. Check out Heim and tell me what you think.

Went to Heim’s Dallas yesterday. Not only was it the worst BBQ I’ve ever had but we actually got sick from it as well. They didn’t even know how to slice their brisket. It was old and funky. Their drinks were literally the worst drinks I’ve ever had as well. The chick working the register hated her life and was one of the worst employees I’ve ever seen. I don't usually give such low rating to a restaurant. Unfortunately, every can go wrong, it's went wrong When we walking, the counter informed us they were out of 2 meats and 3 sides. After we ordered and 20 minutes after, the waitress came to informed us they also out of cole slew my husband and I ordered. I asked potato salad and my husband asked for Mac n cheese. When we went to pickup our foods, they gave us both potato salad. And I also noticed they gave me pulled pork instead of pork ribs I ordered. They also forgot my husband's wine. I reminded them and when the brought the wine, is only 1/3 of the 6 Oz glass. As you can see on the picture how much wine my husband got. All our foods were cold maybe because they dont have our size and asked us to pick other. The ribs seasoning not consistency, 1 was ok and the other was very salty. My friend's also complained his turkey some were fine and some were very salty. I don't know what happened, might be just our luck.
