Miseno Pizza

I was at a party and they ordered pizza from here. The pizza was outstanding…beats many of the local places. Very crispy and lots of flavor. The garlic knots were excellent. I actually took a full leftover pie home and froze the slices! I would highly recommend!

Deep dish margarita is delicious. First time having deep dish and don’t feel the need to try elsewhere. Just got the white pizza with mushrooms and it’s amazing. Been looking for a pizza spot ever since I moved to Suffolk and turns out and think I found it.

Regular slice is probably the best I’ve had. Perfect cheese-sauce ratio and even the crust is delicious.

Miseno Pizza is reliably delicious. I haven’t ever ordered something from here that I don’t like. The interior has a beautiful mural as well as a television and the servers never give me a hard time. I suggest the sweet chili slice, though a bit on the expensive side, it is one of their best options. Their Sicilian is good as well.

We’ve been taking out from Miseno for a few months now and are consistently impressed by how good everything always is. There are too many pizzerias on Long Island but Miseno really stands out among the pack. Great taste & quality ingredients.

I’m definitely going to give the food FIVE STARS cause it was soooo good. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad, baked ziti, and a cheese pizza for me and the littles. Everything was so good. Only complaint I have is the lack of enthusiasm from the young men in the restaurant. They looked like young Caucasian college kids or something. I wasn’t expecting them to be doing back flips for me or anything but none of them smiled, they were so nonchalant, I felt like I was bothering them when I asked for extra dressing, I mean WOW. It saddened me cause I was doing a delivery nearby and I took so many detours to be able to park my 18 wheeler outside and get food from you guys. Besides that, you guys have really amazing food. I’m still grateful. 💕

This is our go to place for pizza night. I will go into some details about the classic pizza they serve, since I am pizza snob. 1) classic crust has perfect thickness and chewiness. 2) they use fresh basil on every pizza. 3) you can taste the aged cheese (rommano? parmesan?) they add to the regular mozzarella. 4) the sauce is light and has real crushed tomatoes. Bam! This is yummy pizza. You can recognize this place as a good pizzeria when you see that they only have a small selection of 'ready to sell' items on the counter. This means that you will not eat pizza that has been sitting around all day. They make it fresh and often. I love the following specialty slices: grandma, pan pizza (really yummy, reminds me of Pizza Hut in the 90's before it went bad), and white spicy honey chicken. We have ordered the pasta with meat and vodka and both were excellent. Although we most often only get the pizza. The location is small with a few tables and always clean. You can see the kitchen in the back, which is also clean. And you will see the owner speaking Italian and making the food. Bonus to this pizza place: A Carvel next door! A combination made in heaven. Food is just outstanding here. Literally everything I've ever had has been great. I had their vodka sauce recently on a chicken parm hero, my goodness it was delicious. Probably the best vodka sauce I've had. I told my Mom about this place, who is a recent resident of Deer Park. She's had a bunch of stuff, all great, but the other day she had an eggplant parm hero and pasta with pesto, and she said it was among the best she has ever eaten in her life. She's nearly 80 and Italian is one of her favorite styles of food to eat, so that review of hers comes from a place of true understanding. I got my wife a vegetable calzone the other day, and she ate the second half after saying she would save it for the next day. Sometimes I need a protein on my pizza and I'm not always down for sausage or meatball, , so I'll get a buffalo chicken from time to time. It's just perfect. Their deep dish chicken parm is also great. They do deep dish here really well too, a gem of this place outside of Chicago. As far as size, it's a typical local pizza place. They have a few tables for eating in. The place is always clean. The staff is always trained well and helpful. Their pizza is how pizza should be: "well done". There is no flop to it. It's not "raw" like many Long Island places are. If you want it that way, they'll do it for you, you just have to ask for it. Just excellent food. It is just 5 mins from where I live, but I'd come here even if I lived further away. I always try and say what a place could do better, but I'm struggling here. I've been on a stromboli kick lately, and they don't offer those here (but I haven't asked) but that's a Philly thing so I don't expect it here. Go here, get a few pies. Get the chicken francese. Get the pesto. Get the meatballs. Get penne ala vodka. You're really not going to miss. Signed, A fat guy who loves pizza.

Sausage & pepperoni pie was very good I wouldn’t ask them to make anything off script though. eggplant pizza with a little ricotta dollops came more as a white pie with little bit of eggplant, iI couldn’t eat it & The spinach & mushroom pie on sliced tomatoes instead of sauce & cheese came with cherry tomatoes on top with little spinach and mushrooms, that looks more like pizza bread- no one seems to like it. I’ve had good pizzas at Miseno’s in the past but this $115 order was a big miss I wouldn’t ask go there again but not for anything fancy

A soggy undercooked pizza woefully missing a fair amount of toppings for $34!!. Dalisa Pizza deserves my business much more than you guys do. They have discount days, better quality food and an overall nicer atmosphere . They don't take advantage of their customers. ***In response to your reply*** Some things are negotiable. Food quality on any given day as an example. This can be forgiven and given a 2nd chance. I can't give your business a 2nd chance because you charged me too much money and lied about the justification of why. Claiming it takes MORE work to add LESS toppings(and not even cheese on a half, mind you), is absurd. I've worked at many pizza places. I've been in this business since 1992. You've lost my business, there will be no 2nd chance.

I ask for two normal slices and they only have one left so a pick an alternative no problem. The server then proceeds to burn my pizza in the oven when I confront he tells me oh it was the last one it was already like that as if I wasn’t already looking at the slice before it was out into the oven then proceeds to ask me if I want the crust cut off

Ok so here goes, I waited 25 minutes for 2 Missenos salad and dozen clams, there were alot of people working there, behind the counter. When the order was ready I looked at the salad and they were not Messino salads they were Cesar Salads!!!! When I placed the order the young man said Cesar salad , I said no messino salad. And a dozen baked clams. So I have to wait another 20 min for Messino salad to be made. I get Messino Salad all the time whenever I do get it. Well, I think things are changing there and it’s best to stick to pizza. I hate to say goodbye, but the past 2 months I’ve had another incident with Messino salad. Not getting into old stories. There was a delivery girl there with straight hair she was standing on the side of the pizza oven running her hands through her hair about 5 times and then tied it back with a brown scrunchie. It was gross, go into restroom if you need to fix your hair. THEN WASH YOUR HANDS. You’re working with peoples food orders. I was truly disappointed with Missenos and wish them well. I drive from Ronkonkoma to get your salad but no more. Good Luck to you

I then drove home, opened the box, to find ONE slice of pizza in there. Now, my family member was out of a dinner, that I paid full price for. I figured they just messed up and forgot it, so I drove all the way back to Miseno with the pizza box and said: “Hey, you forgot my buffalo slice”. The young girl tells me at the counter, “Oh, we didn’t have it so we refunded you for it”. I am happy they refunded me for it, but wouldn’t you think you should tell the customer BEFORE they leave that there’s going to be an item missing? I would’ve picked something else out for the same price! So now I wasted my time, gas, and money! Instead of saying, “Have a good night”- couldn’t the team have said: “Hey, just want to let you know, we don’t have the buffalo available right now, but would you like something else for the same price or a refund?”, which at least informs me I am missing an item. I will never go back to Miseno. The communication for their customers really blew my mind; I was shocked that this happened. I’ll happily go elsewhere that’s able to communicate.
