One to visit again - popped in for dinner without reservation and were served by polite staff all round. Choice on the menus was extensive. I ate from the 17 euro 3 course early bird menu, and 2 others from the a la carte. Everything was delicious - starters were duck/pork belly croquettes, calamari and tempura prawns. For mains, the Moroccan chicken was ideal, lasagne and spaghetti carbonara were wolfed down. Bread and butter pudding and sticky toffee pudding desserts were tasty, especially the bread and butter pud which was of the light and v fluffy variety and not the type that can sink a ship! Would recommend a meal here. Service was good, food excellent, background music not intrusive (& being a child of the 70s, loved the play list that included Terence Trent D'Arby, Sade and Luther Vandross 👍) and general atmosphere being relaxed but still with a refined touch thanks to the decor, white tablecloths etc.
Sat inside to enjoy the air conditioning and the decor. Garlic bread starter then salmon and a lobster thermador followed by lemon tart. All delicious. I would normally have moved on to a bar for entertainment but the singer last night (Leslie P George) was amazing. Top quality singer. We stayed the whole evening and had drinks at the bar. Great atmosphere.
Went for the 3 course Sunday lunch. Absolute bargain for quality / standard. Staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. Good view over the Plaza. Going again.
Sunday roast lunch is amazing. A choice of beef, pork or lamb all served with a selection of vegetables, potatoes and yorkshire pudding. There is also a great selection of starters and desserts and all for less than 20€.
Great food in a lovely looking restaurant with courteous and helpful staff. The three course Sunday roast is tasty and great value at only around £10 per head. Booking is a must to guarantee a roast though as the place gets very busy. Lots of live music on various nights of the week too. Free parking nearby.
We had Xmas day lunch here 2024 Absolutely superb meal in line with top restaurants in London Staff were excellent and service 1st class Really cannot fault this restaurant if you want top class dining The ambience is superb
Great and established restaurant which I have been frequenting for more than 15 years. I thoroughly recommend the set menu on a Friday or Saturday evening, featuring live entertainment, particularly the Abba Tribute Band all very good. I also thought he recommend the Sunday lunch out on the Terrace overlooking the beautiful Plaza villamartin, priced at only €11 95 for a three-course meal, has never disappointed me
A great Sunday lunch served in lovely surroundings with efficient and friendly staff. They also have a pianist playing which just adds to the atmosphere and experience.
Excellent food served here, staff are very welcoming, attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The Sunday Roasts are extremely lovely, €12.95 for a three course roast, the meat is very tender, never had a bad roast here. I would recommend this place 100%.
Our favourite restaurant in murcia. Staff and food fantastic, and never had a bad experience. We come out 5 times a year and this is always our first restaurant we visit. Would recommend the set menu as there is something for everyone, but also the a la cart menu is fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing! Every member of staff were excellent in the service they provide as well as their attention and loveliness. Saw Abba Elite tonight who put on an epic show and that's coming from a 24 year old ;) superb food and menu has something for everyone. Will definitely be returning, if not next week, then in the Summer to see "Rod Stewart" or "Abba" again!
10 of us went for a pre Xmas meal and I have to say everything was just perfect piping hot food and every course was really tasty, the entertainment from Loud Mouth (unfortunate name for a very sophisticated duo) was just fabulous as was the DJ the service was great too.
Wonderful relaxing atmosphere, food absolutely amazing! Friendly helpful staff and could not fault the service we receive, it was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
I'm from Heathrow in the UK and my fiancee parents live near this complex, we went for a tribute rod Stewart night and had some great food with great atmosphere. We are going back in 20 days and will certainly be going back to this restaurant without a doubt ! Looking forward to seeing all the staff again. Regards Lea
Went for Sunday lunch at Eduardos today ...what has happened ?😳 firstly atmosphere was great staff were great ...starter salt and pepper calamari was good... coffee burnt top cheesecake was good but the actual Sunday roast was not good the meat especially was bad 😐 we had pork and beef yorky pud burnt... I am not a moaner read any of my other reviews on google but I was so disappointed today 65e with drinks for the 2 of us such a shame
Having recently dined here I would like to thank all the team for the fabulous food and service we were given. Our waitress Bethany was so very attentive and personal from start to finish, a feel credit to the establishment. See you next time!
The food is amazing, every dish I have eaten in here has been lovely. Really big resturant lots of seating. Staff very helpful and polite. Would highly recommend eating here.
Great food and service. Ended up eating here for 3 nights. Simple reason this place is the best for food and service for miles and miles. This place never fails to deliver quality
The food was scrumptious and the service kind, friendly and attentive. The decor is lovely. All five of us had a lovely evening and would absolutely recommend going, especially on a special occasions, the staff go out their way to make everyone's night special
Absolutely 💯 loved it, Service and food Best i had for a long time I'll be coming back Shrimps / calamari and that melted cheese to die for ♥️
What an amazing night, food was fantastic, staff brilliant, especially the lady behind the bar who ran all the way round villa Martin with my card lol 😆 did make us laugh. The singers were top class, we just loved it ❤️ start to finish 👏 🙌 well done ✔️ oh the decor was pretty special too was wondering how I could get one of your chandeliers in my suitcase without you seeing! Been to the marbs location a few times and to me this was equally as good if not better. Well done 👏
Absolutely fantastic place to dine. The food is second to none 'AMAZING' Chef. The service is excellent. Warm friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. A lovely guy playing the piano with calming tunes. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. 👌
I went to Eduardo’s 3 times during my stay at Villamartin. The staff were so friendly and professional, every time, to everyone. So welcoming. The cocktails were delicious & so well made. The food is absolutely incredible, by far the best in the area for food. Every time I ate there, each dish was beautiful. Amazing restaurant & I will most definitely be returning!
Fantastic food with friendly helpful staff. For the standard of service and meals the prices are competitive. We'll worth a visit if you're in the area. Booking very advisable to avoid being disappointed on arrival.
Family went for Sunday pre Christmas dinner , was a little dubious after reading the past reviews but service , food and atmosphere 5 star, The live music made it perfect . Let the pianist know his versions of the played songs were great.
Excellent Sunday lunch Very impressed with our Sunday lunch today, we couldn’t move after the main but had to have dessert as was included! 18.95€ for 3 courses, worth every Penny. The refurbishment looks amazing and the staff are trained really well, we were well looked after and never without a drink. I don’t write reviews very often but this deserved one today. Well done Elliot and team and see you Wednesday for Gary Barker! Set menu Wednesday will be 28.95€ but we think it’s worth it for sure.
We had Sunday lunch in the 25th of June. When we arrived the meet and greet was very different and her customer service wasn’t great. We had a really positive experience in the past with the woman with white hair (sorry can’t remember her name). Her customer service is excellent she’s very responsive to customer needs. The waiter was Daniel who was lovely and worked hard. We also had an older waiter who was very professional. The food was just ok. The main course is now served with vegetables already plated up, it’s so much nicer when they come in separate dishes. The portions seemed smaller.
The Lamb Sunday Roast was probably the best we’ve ever had. Honestly superb ! Been coming to Villamartin for 20 years and we always visit Eduardo’s once as treat. This is the first Roast we’ve tried and it was spectacular.
George Michael tribute night was amazing. Arrived to find there was an issue with our booking, but the head of house (sorry didn't get the name but he sounded French) was absolutely brilliant about it and sorted us a table within 5 mins. The food was outstanding. The prices for drinks and food were very reasonable. Pasta for main and we had a cheese board for dessert, both excellent. The entertainment was superb and there was a real party atmosphere. The only negative would've been the paying side. We had some items on our bill, which we didn't have, and it seemed a few other tables had the same problem, but this just may have been because it was so busy. The bill was sorted very quickly, so no harm was done. Would highly recommend it and look forward to going back again soon.
We have been coming to this bar every night of our holiday and had a Sunday lunch one day. The staff can't do enough for you, and one particular member of bar staff (Callum) was amazing. He made us feel very welcome, and we highly recommend this place to everyone. The atmosphere is great. There is a DJ that goes there, and the music is great. Fabulous entertainment and great value for money.
Precioso Lugar!!!
Good menu chose the three course £24 Great choice and good value. steak was cooked perfectly with the bbq taste see attached photo. Service entertainment and drink 1st rate.

First time here...went for a joint birthday celebration... Lovely decor & atmosphere... Staff were friendly , helpful... Plenty of choice on menu.had some dietary needs, which were sorted, no problem. Food was delicious.. highly recommend it, if you want a special night out
Lovely place to have a nice dinner. Food was super delicious. Re the service I don't share the opinion of other commentors. Our servers took very well care of us. Dogs are welcome on the terrace.

Heerlijk gegeten en een goede service met hele vriendelijke gastheren

1 adult 2 kids. Foods pretty decent albeit kind of expensive for the area. I guess they consider themselves higher end so probably to be expected. That said, it’s far from high end in terms of service, nothing horrendous just no attention to detail and many of the staff working at 100mph getting food and drinks out. Id probably come back and have just mains and a couple of drinks.
Gorgeous setting inside and outside. We booked outside but due to a miscommunication they thought we'd booked inside, although still allowed us to sit outside so it wasn't a big deal. Great entertainment. Very comfy seating. Food was very good. Surf & Turf was lovely. Cocktails were excellent. Service was good but I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak cooking, our side orders came before our starters so we had to send them back, the summer fruit salad said it came with chocolate sauce but came with chocolate shavings and the chocolate brownie was not served with popping candy as stated on the menu. Overall a very good experience but some small improvements needed. Would still go back though as overall it was lovely.
Family of 4 and a toddler. We sat inside and we’re given a really good high chair for my little one. Lovely place, lots of seating inside and out. Prices really reasonable for the size and quality of the food. We had the prawns, pork and hummus to start and that was enough for us all. They even gave us extra bread as we were sharing the hummus. We then had pizza, gnocchi, stuffed chicken and lasagne for mains. All again lovely and great portions. Then Chcolate fondant for pudding (they Pre warned us this would take 15 minutes or so as need to cook the fondant). True to their word it came and we had one very happy toddler. We will see you again on our next visit! The only thing was it could have been a tiny bit cooler inside (but it was boiling that day so most places were the same) Thank you!
Sunday roast par excellence. Service great and attentive. Three course meal and drinks for two €80. Espresso Martini had ground coffee on top as well as the usual beans. This made it hard to drink as the ground coffee got in ones teeth.I fed it back via the waitress but did not recieve feedback. This should not detract as my Mai Tai and complementary B52 were excellent 🍷
Excellent venue with brilliant entertainment, saw Rod Stewart tribute on Saturday, food a little bit pricey but was a lovely evening. Only criticism is that the waiting staff, who are all very pleasant, need a bit more training as they lean across the table serving the food instead of walking around next to you.
Excellent roast , staff very helpful and friendly. Setting wonderful . Downside : drinks expensive, small wine 4 € . A shot of lemon chello € 5 Apart from cost of drinks a lovely experience.
Always have lovely food here when I dine and the staff are amazing. They are always on hand to assist when needed. The only thing I would add as a negative, for me personally, is that I have been going every week for months now, and have no idea of their names, with the exception of Carol, who I book my table with. Perhaps name tabs?
Lovely restaurant. Been several times before it changed to Eduardos Italian. Food is good, my pork fillet was excellent, but quite expensive for an Italian! Drinks even more so! No indication on menu of what accompaniments come with dishes. When asked waiter what potatoes etc came with my main was told none, so I ordered a couple of sides at extra cost only to find that my main has mash come with it! Sent one of the sides back but they still tried to charge for it. For what is meant to be a classy restaurant the live music inside is far to loud to be able to converse at table. Needs toning down. We asked to be moved from inside but even sitting outside it is quite loud. Not sure I would return any time soon purely because of the music situation. Background music is all that is required.

Lovely Sunday lunch but the service or lack of was shocking. No check back on each course and was sat waiting for our plates to be cleared for over 20mins no offer of drinks and the restauarant wasn't even busy. Shame as it spoilt the meal
Usually excellent, however our last visit just wasn't up to the same standard. Food didn't come out together, in fact by the time we waited for my husband's to be brought to the table the rest of us had like warm food and everything just appeared too much bother for the staff that were on that evening. Really disappointed as we had friends staying with us and had really bigged Eduardo's up.
Well it’s not what we thought it would be. First course, more belly pork definitely required. Being thoughtful, the chicken came next. More chicken on a drumstick. Sparse with the vegetables. Tea spoon of mash under the chicken bits. Very small Yorkshire pudding. 4 tiny roast potatoes which were so hard I could not cut through them. Ate them whole. Last was the sweet. The best of the lot. One pint of lager. One white martini with small 7 up and some ice. €54.90 ! Won’t be going there again. Ideal for diet worshippers! Much better across the way at Fairways and that’s the truth. Wide berth required. Just because he’s a TV personality don’t wash with me.
Web page state opening hours 18.30pm, got there for 7.15/7.30 and was closed
Food was great, but would not recommend going there with small children. There were a lot of free tables but we were placed just next to a loud speaker playing all kinds of weird music. Prices were a bit steep for the experience we got but not too bad.
Food left a lot to be desired. Had €28.95 set menu. Very small portions, my fish was overcooked, when my husbands steak came, with an €8 supplement, I might add,it was mainly gristle. Drinks prices through the roof with a 50ml measure for €5 ,bottles of white wine€26 and a bottle of red €40. Might add though very nicely decorated but needless to say , neither our friends or ourselves will be back. There are far nicer restaurants and more reasonably priced.
Disappointing on two counts. We have been to Eduardo’s several times before, and found it to be a classy restaurant with good food and a great atmosphere. However recently, in their infinite wisdom, they have chosen to put on live music every night of the week. We went along with some guests on a Friday evening thinking maybe we’d get a nice duet to entertain us while eating. Wrong. Instead we got a “Blondie” tribute band – who were actually quite good, and well-worth seeing in your local sports bar or pub – but not in a classy restaurant where you might want to chat with your guests and enjoy a peaceful environment. No chance. We were also disappointed that the food was not up to its usual standard – overall very mediocre. The staff were great – as usual – but we can no longer recommend Eduardo’s for a good meal and a classy night-out.
Very good restaurant with bad service. I liked everything except the waiters who pretend not to see you. 10 minutes thinking where to sit, 15 minutes to come take the order of drinks and then another 15 to order food. There were only 5 tables in the restaurant and at least 3 waiters. Everything was delicious, but the attitude of the staff discourages coming. Regarding the food, everything was great except that they brought me fish that smelled bad and tasted like it wasn’t fresh, it must have been lying around in a warm place, I returned it, but the waiters also argued that it should be like that.
I wanted chicken, mushrooms, and sweetcorn. I can acknowledge they don't have sweetcorn, but I got bbq chicken and ham. That's not what I ordered! (Still a great pizza, do not get me wrong, just be firm with what you want!). Not a fan of bbq.
Not been to this restaurant for a while. Went for valentines evening meal. There was insufficient staff as the 2 people we saw were rushing around and had no time to deal with clients although they were doing their best. We recieved our first course and before we had finished they brought the second course and left on the table. My wife had a problem with her meal as the steak didn’t taste right but to be fair they dealt with it. My food was ok but could of been warmer. I just felt that the whole evening was rushed and not well planned. The food was good although the service was not the best. In conclusion not up to the normal standard
Buen servicio, buena cocina y buen precio.

Had Sunday lunch yesterday, I thought I'd give it another go but just as bad as before. Burnt Yorkshire pudding, surely when the kitchen staff see most of them being left on the plate it would tell them something. Cabbage was over salted. The carrot was wrinkly like an old one. Everything was covered in gravy and one side of the plate was pretty much the same colour burnt. The beef was nice though. I presume who was the manager looked like he'd just got out of bed, it's not trendy to look like that, just scruffy. Very disappointed so will be off my Sunday lunch list in the future
Christmas menu, Michael Jackson tribute. Enjoyed the whole experience, sadly the food was below par. The prawn cocktail starters were fabulous, no idea what flavour the soup was. Main course, pork was ok, lobster linguine tasteless, risotto under cooked. Had the Bailey's brulee for desert, no flavour at all. The tribute act was brilliant however was expecting all Michael Jackson based on the flyer. Bruno mars bit was good but not my cup of tea. MJ was brilliant but very short set sadly. Will probably return in the summer and give the restaurant another chance as it's been good in the past. Richard
Prise de réservation sur le site pour le lendemain et mail du restaurant qq heures avant pour annuler la réservation pour faute de cuisinier. Ils m'ont dit avoir essayé de m'appeler, mais je n'ai pas eu d'appel Pas tres courtois...
Sunday roast, was ok but friend had pork, crackling was obviously done separately - probably deep fat fried in rancid oil, literally the most disgusting thing I've tasted, I had pate to start - horrible grey colour obviously prepared and air got to it but tasted great - fish and chips for main, chips just off raw and oily- fish really greasy - pretty basic stuff. When my friend explained to them about the crackling response from chef was well it's pig fat what do you expect - like pretty basic to taste the food your sending out - and probably change your oil - service was great - left tip for that but food not the best.
Went for a special Valentine's dinner but what we experienced was how not to do Valentine's. Expected a special romantic dinner for two, not sat next to a large birthday party on one side and a family with screaming children on the other. Normally would not be a problem but not when paying a premium for Valentine's night. Food was OK but at that price would like to choose how my steak is cooked rather than beeing told it was medium or medium. Sorry but this was sold as a special Valentine's night and they were not even concerned when we left before desert. Certainly did not even think about offering a discount. Will not be returning.
Visited 4 years ago and it was great but went last week and service was POOR. They forgot our drinks then brought our meals out, leaving out one so wasnt great. They didn’t even remove the service charge from the bill. Had the fillet steak which didn’t have much flavour, Caesar salad - good a child’s meal and a portion of chips, came to €115 - really not worth the money - will not be returning
High end reputation, however in reality, the meal was average at best and overpriced. Whilst our starters were mainly adequate in terms of portion size, the soup of the day was without doubt the smallest I have ever seen, served lukewarm, without bread and five spoons at the most. We were also charged for the desserts which were included in the menu. When we raised the issues, the server corrected the overcharge and informed us that the manager had agreed to a 50% reduction for the 7€ soup. Most reputable establishments would have offered an apology and refunded the item in full and with the minimal of fuss. Having to request this is unacceptable and quite pretentious.
Not a place for young children, staff aren't engaging towards kids, service was abysmal, very overpriced, kitchen doesn't know the difference between chicken nuggets and fish fingers. Very dangerous for people with allergies maybe. Service was non existent with being served drinks and then being left to fend for ourselves. Wouldn't go back
Over prices and underwhelmed. While the setting of the square is lovely and the seat’s comfy. That’s all about it had going for it they welcomed our little frenchie which was nice but. Served dessert with no cutlery. Failed to bring olive oil when asked 3 Times. And no excuse as it wasn’t busy. The food well no comment as I was taught if you’ve got nothing nice to say. DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL !!!
We have visited this restaurant in the past and have been pleased with the food although always been rather pricey. We visited again in August and can say that we will not be returning. Firstly the service was very slow, secondly the portion sizes were absolutely shocking for the price. We had a photograph of my son last year with the same starter and it was less than half the size this year. When I challenged this I was told they’ve had a new menu and they are now an Italian restaurant. I explained it is the same dish just much smaller so I didn’t feel this was acceptable reason. My husband ordered steak which wasn’t cooked to how he requested. We had two children with us. All the adults had their mains and we sat and waited for the remaining two meals to which the children were getting frustrated and asking where their food was. I called over the waitress to ask where the children’s food was. She said she would check, came back 5 mins later to say it’s on its way. About another 10 mins passed and then it arrived absolutely piping hot. It had blatantly been missed and quickly cooked rather than stating the oversight. Overpriced, small portions and poor service.
So disappointing in Sunday Lunch today. Humongous Yorkshire our, fatty pork and all served in a bowl swimming with gravy. We did share our thoughts with waitress who said she’d understood and a manager would come and see us. That didn’t happen. We weren’t the only ones complaining. The yorkshires were all wasted as waiters were seen carrying away plates of leftovers. We have been coming here for years and never had this happen. Nothing was said as we left and not even an euro was taken off. We feel it has put us off going back again. Come on Eduardo’s get your act together. Only saving grace was fabulous act of a brilliant singer and a pianist.
This was always our go to place when in Villamartín and have had many a great night there. New decor is very stylish. Our waitress was lovely. Food however was shocking, no taste, under seasoned and very underwhelming. We did raise the issues but when we asked to see the manger the message that came back was that he was too busy!! Although he did eventually come over his attitude was not as one would expect, he advised he had already been informed of our complaint so there was nothing to add. We challenged his behaviour and then he seemed to change his tactics…. Too little too late!! This place seems to have lost its heart and soul.
5 of us choose to dine here based on recent recommendations from friends, however not a great experience. 3 of the dishes were shockingly poor, either unseasoned small portions or undercooked. The place looks nice and presents a modern clean appearance. However it should be impossible for a restaurant to get a €7 euro soup starter so badly wrong? (Only a smidgen served without bread). Despite my complaints they only wanted to reduce the price to €3.50. From a total change €268. On checking the bill we were overcharged by some €25 for desserts that should be included on the set menu price. Shame it was a disappointing performance from a restaurant and location that could be so much better.

Have visited Eduardos several times. Although the food is lovely it’s VERY overpriced for what it is.

We zijn binnen gaan afrekenen en onze ontevredenheid ook gedeeld. Dat leek ze niks te doen. Dus ook geen fooi gegeven. Ik vrees het ergste voor deze mooie zaak.
Really disappointed, I don’t mind paying crazy prices when the food is outstanding but my mashed potato was one solid ball tasted like airplane food. The prawns had some funky taste potentially gone off, I didn’t continue to eat them just incase. Sad because I heard really good things and was excited to try. Crazily over priced for what it is.
Cant believe this place has now closed down. Myself and my partner loved this place..
So looking forward to eating at Eduardo's as there seems to be quite a hype about it. Disappointed is understatement of the year ! Very low grade food and staff. Vegetables were way over cooked and a tough rubbery Yorkshire pudding.I had to ask for napkins. One staff member yawned so much I saw her tonsils ! Dirty glasses covered the bar area and i was never asked if my meal was ok. When i asked for my dessert to go, it came oit wrapped in a piece of tin foil and still frozen ! To top it off, we were charged 4 euros for a glass of house wine and 4 euros for a shandy. What is all the hype about this place ??? It's just a name with a massive disappointment !
Made a reservation travelled 1 1/2 hours with a reservation and the place was closed
meal was average, but certain member of staff was extremely rude and condescending, when asked about three dogs (canines)?present at next table when one of our parrty was allergic to pet hair. Not impressed & will not recommend .
We were very excited about our meal tonight but totally deflated by the actual experience! Waited 1.5 hours for our 2nd drink still never got a soft drink one of us ordered, had to ask 3 times for someone to bring the 2nd bottle of wine we asked for. One steak ordered blue turned out medium. Lamb cutlets came in a bowl with gravy, not a clue how I was supposed to cut them to had to ask for it to be put on a plate, manager admitted kids being employed was a problem as they don’t care about much but their beer money! No care from staff aside from manager who was quite embarrassed by the way we were dealt with, won’t rush to go back which is a shame
We have been coming here for 5 years. And have always enjoyed the food especially the Sunday lunch. Our waitress Georgia was lovely. Unfortunately the food was completely tasteless, pork was like lumps of ham hock, the carbonara was watery and bland, lumps of garlic, awful. Georgia could se we’d not eaten much of our food and we’d told her we were not happy with, we asked to speak with a manager, she came back to us and he said he was too busy!!! We could completely tell she was embarrassed by this. I then went to speak with him and asked him why he didn’t want to speak with us, he replied l’ve already had your feed back, what more is there to add, l felt so sorry for our waitress who was was clearly embarrassed by this. I’m afraid we won’t be returning. We offered to pay 90 euros only! Extremely disappointed ☹️
Stay away at all costs! Pregnant wife had food poisoning and ended up in Torrevieja hospital all night on iv drip- bloody tests to confirm! Popped in for a quick bite to eat on the 4th July. Menu is basic.! Wife ordered the daily special which was brocolli soup and main was chicken. As the wife is pregnant we take every precaution when ordering food so played it safe. 4-5 hours later wife was violently vomiting non stop. Ths is extremely dangerous for both child and wife. We really should complain in person but it’s clear from other reviews on multiple sites that the owner has not interest so just putting it out there so others do not make the same mistake. On the plus side the service is good but unfortunately the whole place is style over substance. Food poisoning on the side the food in general cr5p!
We recently bought an apartment close to Eduardos. We’ve been wanting to visits for a while but waiting for the right time. We started off with a lovely bottle of Lauren Perrier Rose and it went down hill from there. Unfortunately the staff are made up of kids on their summer holidays it seems. More interested in standing around and discussing the most recent TikTok. Drinks took over half an hour to arrive, some missed, food cooked incorrectly, some missed. The manger was aware of the short comings and wasn’t sure even if she would be around on our next visits, sorry love, there won’t be a next visit. I love good food. Good food should come with a good price. If your paying a good price you want good service. Unfortunately the local kindergarten disappointed.
It pains me to write this review about our if my favourite restaurant in Villa Martin Plaza, but I am very very disappointed with our meals on Friday evening 7th July. After a.giod 15 minute wait to be served, for starters I had mozzarella balls in breadcrumbs and my husband had mussels with a bottle if Pinot Grigio, so far so good, there was entertainment (singer and someone playing the piano) great 👍. For main course we ordered château briand we had to wait a while, but no problem there, when the food came me and my husband just stared at and had to ask the waiter is that it. What was delivered was a dinner plate with c.8 slices of steak and a small bowl of chips between the 2 of us - nothing else, not even plates or cutlery for us we had to ask for it, the waiter came back and.confirmed that was all we were getting and enjoy. Absolutely shockedthat eduardos can send out this paltry meal for 2 people, no salad no sauce nothing. Suffice to say the measly portion of food we did have was very tasty. The manager and he'd chef came over to speak to us if their own accord to ask if everything was OK, sadly it wasn't they took our feedback on board and went away to investigate, apparently we should have also had a peppercorn sauce with our meal but the kitchen failed to send it out- no explanation was offered !. Our bull came with the staggering price tag of 70 euros for our steak alone, the most expensive on the menue. Eduardos Italiano in partnership with Elliot Wright you have seriously got this wrong and I could cry, I left your restaurant feeling hungry and wripped off, value for money it was certainly not, good ambiance no, as there was a football team sitting next to us (Preston North end) and seems all attention was on them, good service sadly not. It would not be a restaurant I would recommend which pains me to say it
The architecture of the building is very beautiful and unique. It is a beautiful place. But the food is really not good. The Ceasars salad looks like it has been waiting outside in the heat for a day. The lasagna looks like last week's leftovers were reheated in the microwave. We tried to order a healthier item from the menu with the salad, but apparently failed. The Ceasars salad was drenched in mayonnaise. In the lasagna, there were no spices used at all. The meat was very tough. The rest was swimming in fat. In addition, there was an enormous amount of noise here. Really not a pleasant experience. Here we will never come again. In addition, the online menu does not match the actual menu. There are maybe only 10 dishes on the menu in real life. You would think that there would be a better quality with so few dishes, but that's absolutely not the case.
Unfortunately have started to see the charm of this place go downhill, third trip this summer where service staff have been rude and slow, forgetful - often having to ask for the same thing multiple times. Arrived yesterday and we were given a 3 option set menu - none of which worked for a veggie and refused to offer any alternative, when it should have been the al la carte menu. Charged full price set menu for 1 course edible - 40 euro, other food served last lost alot of flavour - hope it improves.
We have gone to Edwardos every year for 18 years and it’s always been great. This year I’ve had to write a negative review because we were soooo disappointed. Food was fine (not amazing but fine) we had to ask to move to sit outside as the dance/house music inside was super loud. We never got asked if our food was ok. We didn’t get asked or we wanted more drinks. The waitresses/waiters were hanging around as it wasn’t busy… just so poor in comparison to previous 5 star reviews. Such a shame.
After coming here for over ten years, we went for Sunday dinner. After being shown to our table, it was 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink, so we ordered….20 minutes later we received the drinks & ordered food. 50 minutes later we asked where food was & was told 2 minutes away. 10 minutes later we stood up & walked out without paying for the drinks, Elliot Wright needs to spend some time there to see what’s happening, before he has an empty restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our party of 4 booked the Lionel Richie tribute eve 21 June. Service extremely slow, or non existent. Food very disappointing. Gave up waiting for dessert after two hours and couldn't find server to order drink so approached manager to complain and for bill. Discounted 20% as no dessert. Tribute was more like karaoke singer, singing Lionel songs to backing tracks. Repeated songs in different formats/beats, which was repetitive. Not what you'd call a tribute act. Air con useless. First and last time we'd visit there.
I booked this restaurant on recommendation. Would I return no . Never had such bad service . Orderd food and got it wrong , even tho the waitress asked us to point at the menu . And read our order back . One person dident get any food . Watched 2 large tables get up and walk out as not even been offered a drink . Iv never seen service so bad . Such a shame Eduardos
We had been highly recommended Eduardo’s but it was a very disappointing experience. We were in the restaurant for nearly 3 hours and only managed to get starters and mains and 2 drinks. We gave up on our desserts after waiting for 25 minutes. Service was incredibly slow despite the restaurant not being busy. Our server was great but senior members of staff had no interest in supporting us or staff. One member of our party had constant drips from the air con on her. Her chair was swapped out as it was so wet, all the staff did was put a bucket down and switch the air con off where we were sat so it was very hot. The food was nice but not worth the poor experience.
Came here for our last night of the holiday. We have been coming here for a few years now, and this time will be the last. Waited 1 hour for 2 of our 4 starters to arrive and then a further 30 minutes for the rest to arrive. After we had spoken to our waiter about the wait our mains came in good time. After seeing the the portion sizes we all laughed for the money it was a joke, the risotto was undercooked and hard and the steak portion for two was only big enough to feed one, for the money it really wasn’t worth it at all. The waiters were very understanding and helped us in the end but the manager didn’t seem too interested. Unfortunately would not recommend anymore. (and ran out of ketchup)
STAY AWAY. NEW MANAGER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS Had a table booked today for Sunday lunch. The only good thing I can say is the food was nice. Sat down for dinner at 3:45. Left at 6:30. It was a Sunday and I can understand that it’s a busy time. When seated the manager asked if we wanted water which we said yes to. A few moments later a waitress said they were out of the large bottle did we want a small one. Yes please thats fine. This bottle of water never arrived. After a while we placed our order. Starter came out fine. Food was nice. That’s when the wait started. I would like to add we are sat at a table outside in front of the manager. We started to see tables that sat down after us get their main. Still waiting understanding that it’s busy a large table that sat down about an hour after us received their food. By this point it had been about an hour since our table had been cleared from the starter. A waiter who was not working our table noticed the problem and went to the kitchen to find out what had happened. Our food had been forgotten. I can understand that these things happen but how the manager handles this is what matters. The manager did not care and just brushed it off and said so you waited a little longer what’s the problem it’s Sunday and it’s busy. He wanted to argue with me that this is totally fine. He was rude and this was not the way to deal with a situation like this. I would also like to add that when the bill arrived the water that never turned up was still on the bill. We have been going here to eat for the last 10 years but I can say this is the last time we will visit. This is due to the way the new French manager spoke to me and my family. There was no sorry that should not have happened just it took a little to long so what? Until this manager is replaced I would avoid going here. The food is still good but if you have a problem of any sort it will not get resolved
