In my opinion McCafferty's is what we need in La Zenia. Don't get me wrong Paddy's Point is good but MaCcafferty's is a positive injection with food, drinks and a great selection of beer's. Food served late. I'm actually at the bar now 21.45 enjoying pepper corn chicken. First musician finished and the next act about to start. Children are definitely most welcome. Giving ratings I will give MacCafferty's 09/10. 9 rating because the AC is probably at the same temperature at 12.00 am as is 18.00. I really cannot fault it and I have reviewed hundreds of pubs restaurants, niteclubs, in Ireland and the UK and now in Spain. Definitely top class.

Great bar an restaurant, highly recommended. Bar staff first class. Owner is a gentleman takes time to come an chat to everyone. Will definitely return without a doubt😁

Great to see McCafferty’s thriving Spain! Great food and service, definitely recommend the cocktails! Gives the classic Donegal vibes, interior is very similar to the bars in donegal which is a nice touch! Food was great and well priced! Definitely recommend for food and drinks!

Great Irish pub in the centre of La Zenia. I visited this pub frequently during my recent stay in the area. Didn't take any time or effort to get involved with the very friendly locals, so as I was on my own, this was a postitive experience. Lovely and properly poured pint of Guinness and some very tasty pub grub too. Big thanks to the excellent team behind the bar with a special mention to Josh, who I first spoke to and was a big reason for it becoming my favourite pub in Orihuela Costa. 10/10

Great Irish Sports bar. We visited last night and tried a great 10oz sirloin steak with pepper sauce and a beef stew cooked in Guinness.

McCaffertys is a great Irish bar up at Paddy’s point in La Zenia, friendly staff, brilliant live music and a quirky interior that is a must see. Toilet was spotlessly clean and aircon was more than adequate inside if needed. Only niggle is when you sit outside the music from the neighbouring bar competes with the music playing from McCaffertys and ends up being a bit of a noisy mess. Didn’t put us off revisiting but maybe the two bars should share the cost of one entertainer and make for a more pleasant listening experience. Would recommend a visit.

Right next to paddy's point bar ,fantastic experience ,we all had full irish breakfast which was so tasty .staff were so attentive as one of our party is in a wheelchair .so impressed they put on celtic rangers game for us .would not hesitate to recommend 👌 enjoyed the baileys cheesecake and baileys coffee 😋

Always a great atmosphere, service and staff are fantastic. Very polite and professional. It's the only bar we drink in when we are over. Keep up the good work folks 👏

Sirloin steak was excellent. Cooked to perfection and the staff are great too. Beautiful decor and lighting inside.

Just back from a lovely week in La Zenia. McCaffertys is our local bar which we were in a bit too much over the week, great atmosphere, lovely food & drinks. Live music every night. Special mention to the manager Matthew who is so efficient, runs a great show. Can’t wait to be back again in a few weeks.

Das BESTE Guiness Bier weit und breit. Es sind ja gleich 3 Irish Pubs nebeneinander. Das ist das kleinste und authentischte, alle Service Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Sehr oft sehr gute Live Musik am Abend. Irish Breakfast (auch vegetarisches) bis 1400 Uhr.

Emma was of great service to us all. When we finished up and were getting a taxi after her shift she directed and shared a taxi with us . She was extremely helpful and attentive even when her shift was over

Waited 15 minutes for service then decided to go as waiting to long.

We read the reviews and they Are to many negative comments so my wife was nervous and we went some where we would Be treated With respect and kindness To many people complaining about this bar so we are not Comfortable.

Sat down and waited 15 minutes but not served , there were only 2 other customers. Got up and walked out.

Service is poor at best and the music isn’t far behind.

Very rude staff ,we asked for water as our friend has dementia and needed water as she was thirsty The server made fun of my friend which is unprofessional. Please avoid going to a bar that are disrespectful towards sick people. There are many other bars that people can spend their money and be treated with respect.

The service was poor , bar staff outside busy talking we waited for a while but eventually we left A high turnover of staff here the last time we were it was all different bar staff

Wouldn’t recommend waited for 20 minutes to place our order,when we waved the server she had an attitude and didn’t take the order,the place was empty,and we had no problem with waiting ,it was the attitude of the staff,so after waiting for 20 minutes we went next door to paddy’s point where we had drinks and food served almost immediately and it was a busier bar. Avoid MCcarfleys and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Terrible place, staff member on duty was very poor. Felt like he didn't want to be there. Asked him for two glasses of wine after dinner, and while he took the order he never brought them to our table. When we asked for the bill he couldn't give it to us fast enough. You can see why Paddys Point which is next door does so a large trade

We asked for gammon and got pork the Yorkshire puddings were partly under cooked all served by a young lady who was troubled about this the owners was out side she went to them and they walked away and left her to she was crying about this out side.and I must say it was not her fault.shame on the owners

Absolutely the worst experience by far. Food took over 2 hours for some wraps. The manager on shift had a blasé attitude and rude nature. It was easily by far 50 degrees heat and should invest in outdoor fans.
