Opinions de The Fish Market Del Mar
The food is so fresh and the staffs are friendly.
Fish Market Del Mar is my go-to place for dependably satisfying Ahi ("prime rib of the sea," as I like to call it). :) The environs offer a lively atmosphere surrounded by a classic wood-and-brass motif. Routine standouts are their Alaskan halibut and Ahi entrees - and don't miss the au gratin potatoes and cherry tomatoes for sides. The Cioppino is simply delectable. For excellent starters, try the raw oysters on the half shell or tuck into the fried calamari (served with both marinara and chili sauce). The complimentary, hot-from-the-oven, sourdough bread serves as the proverbial "icing on the cake." Nothing disappointing here - love it all! (Dine late for lunch or early for dinner to enjoy the easiest parking.)
I ordered take out, so I cannot comment on service beyond stating that it was satisfactory. I can, however, state that their cioppino is excellent and well worth a visit.
Old fashioned and big fun, fun fun! Great fresh fish! Great bar
Got the warm artichoke crab dip and the lagastino fetticini. Absolute 🔥. Also, our server Owen was a perfect gentleman and extremely helpful explaining the large assortment of seafood dishes. I highly recomend this place for anyone looking for a quality seafood spot and if you are not sure about what to get just ask for Owen.
Surprising no wait for a table weekend evenings. Best cheesy garlic bread anywhere. One of San Diego metro area’s best seafood and sides.
This place was my wife's choice for her 50th birthday. Staff was Alert, Attentive and overall friendly. My wife enjoyed the Prince Edward Oysters in Half Shell along with our Cocktails. I myself am a Meat and Potatoes type. My wife assures me That this was Fresh, Presented Beautifully, and most of all Delicious.
My husband and I just left your establishment and it was a nice lunch-break on our way back to Redondo Beach. Michael/Mike was an excellent server! He was kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and had an overall great vibe! He made our experience enjoyable! Everything Michael recommended was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back! 10/10
Thanks for the great customer service tonight and previously this week. We really enjoyed!
I had some really good sea food today at the fish market. Started off with some tasty clam chowder. Then I had 1/2 dozen oysters. Then I had a very good seafood dish that had everything in the ocean in it and a good marinara sauce. I would order this again. There is a market to bit fresh sea food and fish in front that all look great.
I got lobster bisque and an lobster tail to-go. Heated up the soup, chopped up the tail and sauted it in some butter. Put all of it in some bowls with some puff pastry on top. Baked it for 15 minutes. Amazing! Perfect date night with a Sex and the City marathon on E! I hate the stay at home orders... but at least local restaurants make it enjoyable! 💜
I've been thinking about some good seafood lunch since morning. And, here it is ! Sea bass was outstanding.
Casey is the best server! Great customer service! I'm definitely coming back soon!
Beautifully prepared food. Lobster roll and halibut tostadas wonderful. Husband loved his ny steak. Very kind helpful service. A second waitress jumped in when ours was busy, determined to solve our issue. Everyone was great
This really is the best fish in San Diego. This restaurant is patterned after the old Crab Cooker in Newport Beach.
CIOPPINO! How I love this catch of the day fisherman's stew. This was my first time at the Solana Beach location, and it was as good as the San Diego location. I get the linguine on the side, dress it with some of the sauce, and, second meal! Half the fun is getting your hands all drippy, shucking the shellfish and stripping the crab. (They give you a bib and tools.) And dont forget the cheesy garlic bread. The vibe is old school with dark wood and old San Diego fishery pictures on the walls.
Great food for the price and the server was very kind enough to give me another drink because it was close to the closing time for free. My fiancé and I ordered Swordfish play with fries and thier potatoes and I had the Californian king salmon with green beans and fishwife rice. Very nice atmosphere and we will come here again!
Delicious, properly prepared and locally sourced FRESH fish, and a very attentive and courteous staff. Be sure to check out Happy Hour specials, and sign up for the rewards program!
I was a big fan of the Fish Market Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, and San Jose locations over the years, then they folded. I stumbled upon the Solana Beach location recently and had lunch there. It was as good as I recall, with tasty dishes, fresh fish, and great service in a very comfortable environment. The fish & chips are excellent, with two big pieces of cod lightly battered and properly crispy. The fries were not soggy like many, and coleslaw is included. Even the tartar sauce was unusually tasty. The warm sourdough bread with whipped butter is a nice touch considering many places don't provide good quality bread, especially for free. In contrast, for only $1.00 more at Monarch Ocean Pub you get three bigger pieces of cod that are also perfectly crispy and delicious, plus steak style fries which I like more than the standard style. But no coleslaw of free sourdough bread. Since I can't eat three big pieces of fish, I prefer the Fish Market version with coleslaw and bread. The ceviche was superb, with shrimp, "white fish", and the usual hot peppers, pickled onions, and cilantro topped with a lot of avocado and accompanied by very good tortilla chips. They don't automatically bring Tapatio sauce (required for ceviche!), so you must ask. I love the shrimp and halibut ceviche at Monarch, but here it's just as good, and a bigger portion topped with much more avocado for about the same price. I read that the two remaining Fish Market restaurants, in San Diego and Solana Beach, were acquired by The Brigantine inc. last year which said they'd keep the same branding, recipes, etc. That's fortunate since the fish & chips I had recently at their Escondido restaurant were about the worst I've ever had.
Best seafood I’ve had in a while, and Hailey was an awesome waitress. I’ll definitely be back soon. We loved the crab spinach artichoke dip, prawns, and swordfish. Such a unique menu with tons of tempting choices! Tons of gluten free options as well. We are happy to have found this gem.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I had the seafood curry, we shared clam chowder and he had fish and chips. The iced tea was perfect. We might go back tonight. Our server, Faith, was a sweetheart. She was very attentive and engaging!❤️
This was our first time at this restaurant and will definitely be back. Every part of the experience was top notch. Called ahead of time to ask a question and the hostess who answered was knowledgeable, polite, professional and attentive. Upon arrival we were greeted in the same manner. Once seated our waitress, Faith, was also knowledgeable, polite, professional and attentive to our table as well as all of the surrounding tables she serviced. At no time did we have to wait. Faith was always right there when needed. She clearly had a strong customer service perspective. Beyond the service, the food was outstanding. We ordered and split the King Crab. The crab and the sides were well prepared and presented on the plates. It is clear this is a very well managed restaurant that focuses on training and is committed to customer service at every touch point.
So amazing, me and my family came in around 20:40 and the staff was incredible, not to mention our waitress Kayleigh who was an absolute angel. The food was light and flavorful and came out quick (bonus for the mints on the way out that tasted like lemon miranges!!) would definitely recommend!
First time here for my daughter & me. Came with my husband on a Saturday night at 7:45. Katlyn was our server. We were seated immediately. Received warm bread with butter as an appetizer. My husband ordered the Teriyaki salmon bowl, my daughter ordered the grilled salmon with pink peppercorn sauce & I had the coconut macadamia crusted Alaskan halibut. Every single dish was perfection! We all cleaned our plates, nothing was left. Absolutely fresh & delicious. The service was excellent! We will be back for sure!
Overall, we have an excellent time at the Fish Market at Solana Beach. We were treated well and all the food came out wonderfully. I particularly liked the seafood pasta dish and looking at the pictures makes me want to go back. One thing you might want to plan for is the parking situation.
Awesome spot for fish & seafood. Our meals were both amazing & our server was great also. We also had the crab dip for an appetizer which was delicious also. I had the crab cioppino which was loaded w/ all kinds of seafood not just crab. It had shrimp, clams, mussels, calamari & halibut. My girlfriend had the scallops which were like butter, so good.
Wow! This was my first time at this restaurant and I definitely plan on coming back! The restaurant is so nice and it’s located close to the beach! It offers fresh seafood plus everything on their menu looks delicious! This was a very big portion but I’m glad I tried it. It comes with 2 triangular slices of bread, it has great flavor and is very filling.
Really good sea food daily at the fish market. Started off with some tasty New England clam chowder. Then a side of there home made sourdough rolls. We both had Fish & Chips and it was nice and crispy flaky fish with not to much breading. They have a fresh fish market so take some home.
escaped the fair and had lunch here. The food was fresh well prepared. The service was excellent, my ice tea never even got half full. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. The calamari steak and halibut sandwich we’re both very good. It’s about $20 a plate. The restaurant was large and had nice booths.
This place always caught our eyes when we drive by, so we decided to gave it a try. The interior design here is very cool, I love the ocean theme with a lot of fish installations on the wall. We sat on the bar, bartender is very friendly. We ordered a wild caught halibut with baked potato and coleslaw on the side. And also a Cobb salad with crab meat. We loved the salad but the fish is just okay. We didn’t feel full after finished all the food, we ordered a dessert, key lime pie, which I feel it’s the best dish in the whole meal.

Great spot. Fun ambiance, attentive service, great food! Very pleased with every aspect of our lunch.
Great food, Great service, , Great atmosphere. 6 people for a 66th B-day dinner. Amanda took great care of us. The cook did a fantastic job with all the different fish ordered. I've been going here for years and always find one more reason to go back.
My partner and I stopped in for dinner and we had a great time! It was still happy hour and so we got a bunch of things off that menu along with some clam chowder. I also want to shout out the starter bread and butter. It comes out warm and is so delicious! New England clam chowder: 5/5 Delicious, creamy and so filling! 2 buck shuck oysters: 3/5 The oysters were pretty big but they weren't shucked/cleaned very well. There were lots of shell bits and other things in the oysters. Ahi poke tacos: 5/5 I really liked these tacos and the poke was fresh. Beer battered zucchini fries: 5/5 My favorite zucchini fries yet! They were battered perfectly and the zucchini didn't get soggy. So good! Chipotle fish street taco: 3/5 The fish was good although a little dry, and I feel like the taco lacked flavor. We had a wonderful server who was so sweet and took good care of us. However, there was a situation near the end of our meal that was a little strange. Another patron in the bar area came over and picked up our server completely so that her feet were dangling off the ground. He seemed drunk and fell forward, still holding our server, into a cabinet where the register was. It looked like it hurt our server. Although they seemed to know each other, it's not appropriate for another patron to be physically touching someone while they're working, especially like that. I hope the server is doing alright and that the other patron doesn't try something like that again.
Had a great meal for a milestone birthday. Friendly staff. Food arrived quickly. An enjoyable evening.
Such a steady-eddy place. I really like the fried calamari as it includes string beans, red peppers, jalapenos, without compromising in the amount of calamari. Their by-the-glass wine selection is solidly good. Their fish is fresh and well prepared. You can't lose going to any of The Fish Markets.
Always a solid choice. Nothing fancy just tasty food and good service at a reasonable price.
Service great. Food is good but served lukewarm.
Date of visit: 4/14/2017 We came here for a late lunch before going to run some errands. Since it was Good Friday, my mom wanted fish for lunch, so we opted to go to The Fish Market since it is also close to the shops we had to go to. The parking lot here is pretty small, but there is a line of parking behind the wall, on the hotel side. The spaces are clearly marked on where you can and cannot park - luckily we found an easy spot and walked in. Since we were having a late lunch, there was no wait to be seated. The hostess lead us to one of the booths and our waitress came by to take our drink orders. After she came back with our drinks and some bread, we needed a couple more minutes to look at the menu, but I think it got really busy because she didn't come back for a long time. When we finally placed our orders, she sped off to go help other tables and ignored us. I wanted a refill on my lemonade and a bit more bread, but we didn't get that until one of the managers brought over our food. The manager actually asked if we wanted more bread and refills on our drinks. I saw that our waitress was helping other tables in our area, but didn't respond when we tried waving her down. I'm not too happy about the service here, but I really enjoyed the food, so I only knocked it down by 1 star. Plus, the manager was nice, so I'm assuming our waitress was just having a bad day. Crab Cakes. The crab cakes here were delicious. I loved the salad that was served with them as it helped balance out the heaviness of the fried crab cakes. My mom, who typically doesn't eat salad, actually liked the salad too. This was a great appetizer for us to split. Clam Chowder. Cam got a bowl of the clam chowder, which he enjoyed as a lunch by itself. I don't like clam chowder on its own, but with the sourdough bread, it was actually really good. I'd probably only get a cup if I were to order it since I didn't really like it as much when it started cooling down. Alaskan Halibut. I opted to get one of the fresh catches of the day grilled, which was Alaskan Halibut. It was perfectly cooked and definitely fresh (it didn't smell fishy at all). We got it with the au gratin potatoes and roasted vegetables. The sides were mediocre, but the fish was perfect. If I ever come here again, I might try different sides. The vegetables seemed more steamed than roasted and the potatoes just weren't a great fit with the fish. Overall, The Fish Market was a great lunch. I am definitely a fan of the food that we ate and would come back to try other dishes if in the area again.
My wife and I ate at the Del Mar location last weekend. I'm rating this spot 4 stars because the crab cakes left a lot to be desired. To start, we ordered crab cakes. Upon arrival, they looked like small Little Debbie snack cakes fried and stuffed with corn meal. I'm not sure where the crab was mixed in, but it's definitely not something we would order again. By far, it's one of the worst we've ever had. (Their San diego water front location was worse) The small salad with dressing included wasn't bad and would order if it was made as an individual dish. For our early dinner, we ordered fish and chips. The enormous portions arrived, looking delicious. Not to deceive, the fish was cooked perfectly, the batter was light golden brown, not thick and overwhelming the fish like most places serve. (Shakespeare's) The fish itself was flavorful and flaky. The tartar sauce complimented the fish as well. It's definitely a reorder item. The fries were also cooked perfectly. They arrived hot as well. The Cole slaw was good, not too sweet or vinegarie. Our drinks were as expected, drinks nothing to complain about. Our waitress was attentive and made sure we were doing ok during our entire visit. Overall, this location is head over heals to the San Diego Embarcadero location. We will visit again soon to verify how consistent our orders are.
Really good solid seafood restaurant. Not overpriced especially with it's proximity to Del Mar race track. Recently acquired by Brigantine and they have kept everything original. All in all it's a very good place we will go back!
Food was very good!! I had the shrimp linguine and my husband had the grilled prawns. Our server was efficient, but definitely treated us noticeably different than the tables on either side of us. She was very friendly to the other patrons but honestly seemed very disinterested in waiting on us. It was almost uncomfortable at times. She started to drop off bread at our table (she had a loaf in each hand) , and then quickly retracted it, and asked if we wanted bread. We said yes and she said “it’s in the oven” and would be out soon, then delivered the bread she started to give us to the two tables on either side of us…one of which ordered their food after we did. It was honestly super weird. So five stars for the food, but three stars for the service. Not sure I would go back.
It's mostly for old salts and maybe their wives. The menu seems to change more often than not. It's now apart of Brigantine restaurant up the street on the boarder of Del Mar and Solana Beach. At Fish Market location, staff is nice and parking is plentiful. It's worth a visit especially if you're over 50. Outside seating looks nice but not much to look at.
The food is great, but serving sizes verses price is a bit of a miss (it's expensive). Service is very ordinary -- they aren't going to refill your water unless you flag them down and ask. Nice atmosphere.

Mediocre food, mediocre service, a bit pretentious and not inexpensive! The "fresh" fish was so-so, the crab cakes were inedible, the sides were also horrible. But - the bread was good!

We visited the Fish Market for lunch. We ordered the squid steak that was absolutely delicious. The service was absolutely excellent. We will definitely return next time we visit Del Mar.
The food was really good… the lady who was our waiter was in such a rush she forgot our oysters appetizer and many times we asked for something she ran to another table and left us talking by ourselves. She left us alone for a while … the guy who brought our sandwich and offered water was so great we wished he would have taken care of us. It would have changed the whole dining experience.
The food was priced towards the higher end. But the service and quality was decent to below-average. We were waiting a while to get our orders taken. For two people, we ordered one non-alcoholic drink, a single appetizer of two crab cakes, the curry entree, and fish and chips. This came to $83 before tip. These crab cakes were thin, almost like crab pancakes/latkes. Maybe a half inch thin. I don't know what style of crab cake this is, but I have never seen something like that. A thin layer of remoulade spread underneath each one. Usually remoulade is served on the side, in dipping ramekin. For $19, this really put a damper on the beginning of the meal. The fish and chips were good, but like almost every restaurant in America, nothing like British style. The chips are not chips, they are just standard American restaurant fries. For $25 it comes with a fillet of cod and 3 shrimp. I guess that is decent nowadays. The coleslaw was made in house I assume, it was good. The curry was by far the largest portion, seemed generous. Nothing here was spectacular. And for the price it leaned towards underwhelming. The menu had me pretty excited, but by the end I was starting to feel it was all smoke and mirrors. I certainly would not want to roll the dice on the higher end of the menu, where some items are over $80. Service felt like a lot of waiting, and when the waitress did arrive, felt very rushed. I asked for boxes and was only brought one small box for the entire table. I didn't push the issue, I was ready to leave by this point. I worked as a line cook for years in college, so I am willing to overlook a lot. At the end of the day, with tip I spent $100 here today, and we are in San Diego. There is a list a mile long of restaurants I could spend $100 and have a drastically different experience. I understand the challenges and budget constraints restaurants/staff are facing right now, but from a customers point of view, why would I choose to repeat this experience? Thank you, but was not for me.
We came for our wedding anniversary and we were highly disappointed. Both of our dishes the fish was overcooked and the sides had very little seasoning and were bland. Our waitress was short with us and not at all personable. Way over priced for the quality of food served.
The place seems great, but it was not my lucky day here. I’ll try to stay as unbiased as possible. The overall decor seems old, but most of the crowd was on the older side. I ordered the hamachi sashimi and Kumamoto oysters to start with. The hamachi was amazing, and the oysters were good too (although I’ve had more memorable Kumamoto oysters). However, what went wrong was my main dish. I had linguini with clams. All the clams were great except for two that were completely filled with sand. They were clam-scoops full with sand. I was able to enjoy most of the other uncontaminated clams, but the dish was overall way too sandy for me to try to eat any of the pasta. The manager was really friend and comped by entree, and I would still give them a shot next time. I might stay away from shells... at least until I am less scarred by the taste of sand (and actual sand) in my mouth that lingered around for the rest of the afternoon. I was too busy worrying about sand to remember to take pictures of my food, but that’s probably for the better since the sandiness really did not look good.
On the pricier side, service is a little slow, and the restaurant is very dimly lit. I don’t recommend the pastas, but the fish main dishes are pretty good.
The atmosphere is decent. There wasn't a wait on a Tuesday night but our waitress took a while to come over and get us water. The food was average, I've had better clam chowder. The grilles lobster tail wasn't what I was looking for, it was dry. We ordered it with a side of green beans which was overcooked but the Yukon Gold was good.
The restaurant was clean, organized and comfortable. The service was friendly, fast, and without any problems. The food was decent but for the prices charged it needed improvements in flavor. One dish was overcooked, the tacos shown had minimal flavor, and the shrimp pasta simply could have been better in temperature and taste. I have eaten here before with a much better experience.
Thanks Brigantine for ruining a San Diego icon. Fish Market has always been a favorite of mine and my family-now it’s mediocre at best. One of the signs of a good seafood restaurant is the sourdough bread and received French bread-ugh! Caesar salad, duckets bucket are totally different recipes and nothing special. Getting rid of the oyster bars-also tragic. Not to mention no Mexi Pep! Now it’s just a chain seafood restaurant that’s meh 🫤
Charming & nautical environment. The fresh seafood was a little underwhelming for the cost. I dined by myself and the bar, started with the basil martini & fresh oysters and then had an additional martini and the spicy tuna roll. My server was extremely friendly and attentive and the local bar flies were nice company. It's hard for me to give this such a low rating because the service was so great. The oysters were $16 for a half dozen and anything but impressive. They were tiny and flavorless, I was extremely disappointed. They were however, served with a delightfully tangy mignonette. The basil martini was awful. I was expecting big fresh pieces of basil and instead I got chopped and dried basil (you know, the kind you put in spaghetti sauce). It was very gross to drink because of the little chunks you have to slurp and it tasted more Italian food than refreshing (not really my vibe for a martini). Now the spicy tuna roll was delicious and a great price! $10. The tuna was fresh and tasted great. With this course I order a dirty martini with hot sauce (my personal favorite martini) and the first glass was extremely strong. I had a hard time drinking it. After I choked down a couple sips, I asked my amazing server if they could remake it with a little more olive juice to cut it a little, they did and it was much better. The restaurant was massive and decorated intricately. I really enjoyed my time there. I just wasn't very pleased once I got the bill ($60+ for one person) and had left feeling hungry. If you are looking for a nice place to grab a fancy dinner, I would maybe look elsewhere. The quality of the food wasn't well matched for the price.
I been stopping at this restaurant for long time, always enjoyed the worm sourdough bread with butter, but it’s not offered anymore. I had the swordfish, it was excellent. The serving staff was very professional and friendly. Prices are a little steep, but so is everything else, it’s called inflation! I hope the place is going to get better.
This is a good seafood restaurant with great service but the food was not as great as I expected. I definitely enjoyed the crab cakes - they were tender, full of crab, and a good appetizer portion. The cod was good but a very small portion for the price. The seafood ceviche did not have much flavor and we didn’t finish it which was a shame. The oysters were ok. The service was attentive and I enjoyed the environment.
Service and the restaurant setting were fine. It did smell very fishy, but its The Fish Market, so what do you expect? The food was bland. That's the problem. Just not great food.
Very good service. Good quality of seafood. Not really good culinary skills. Too salty. I used to love crispy calamari, they over fried this time. Too crisp. Prices are up and it is too expensive for what you are getting. They used to have small good appetizers, but not anymore. I also miss a loaf of sourdough. After Covid, they changed it into a small roll. Now you need to order one.
Returned after a couple of years absence, hoping for an improvement with the new ownership. The menu is very different - more variety and some moderate price options such as tacos and burgers. The …
We usually are very happy with the meal but the new england clam chowder was watery and had very few clams. A disappointment!!!
Nice draft beer selection. The waitress was aggressive trying to get us all kinds of “popular” appetizers and bread basket etc.. Very unpleasant. The food was ok but definitely overpriced. Unlikel…
I had high hopes that this restaurant would live up to its 4+ star rating. Possibly the day of the week??? (Sunday evening) 4% surcharge on all fares....Damn Our waitress was more interested in flirting with a co-worker than making sure our beverages were at a respectful level.... After completing our dinner...almost 20 minutes to get our bill. Mind you...there were only 4 other tables with guests. Sorry. I cant give a more favorable review for a $200 dollar dinner for two (with only a single cocktail for each my wife and I)
The Fish Market has turned into an over priced Red Lobster. Hostess had the personality of a stump. Server was friendly. Food was blah. I miss how this company used to be
Ordered the Tuna melt, super bland and parts of the sandwich was soggy. The picture actually does it justice. The restaurant needs an update on their decor along with their bathroom. I honestly felt like I was in an old run down diner paying for high quality food due to it's location but getting bland flavorless boring food. I'll stick to the Fish Market in Point Loma, the food there taste fresh & flavorful.
ate here since my childhood growing up around the area - since 30 years ago.. I guess time has changed. haven’t been back in many years now living abroad. the service has really slipped. only saw my server once, when he took the order. couldn’t locate him with my eyes when I wanted to get some bread, add more coke, or get bill at the end. really no service for the majority of the time that I was there. the clam chowder is still good though.
Sat at the bar. My husband and I had eaten at the Fish Market about a week prior. The food was OK and the service was great. But this time, the bartenders were talking to either each other or to a customer they knew. There weren't a lot of people, but we sat there for at least 45 minutes before my husband asked if we could put in our order. When we finally got our food, over an hour, it was terrible. When we were on our way home, my husband started getting sick. We live in Escondido. My husband started vomiting, and he only had the crab cakes. After he ate them, he said that they were a little bit off.
The staff here is very very kind, but I did get food poisoning from the ahi tuna poke. I’m almost positive if it was that because the only other thing I had eaten that day was trail mix. Normally, I wouldn’t come to leave a review, but when I originally called The wrong location they had offered to comp my meal. So I was a little bit disappointed when I recalled that Solana and they did not offer that service. I will say a disclaimer I wasn’t asking for that or necessarily looking for that as an outcome more of the act in itself. They did call back to check on me, but the food poisoning was pretty brutal.
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my wife and I were really disappointed with the food here. Grilled lobster was absolutely overcooked, event burnt on the edge. Crab cioppino was SO BAD. Crab was clearly precooked and frozen such that it's cold compared to the cioppino. Its meat was tasteless, dry, probably the worst Dungeness crab I've ever had.
I will say I have been coming to the FM since it opened in 1981 and have never had any complaints. The last couple of visits I will say everything has changed from the sourdough bread to the qual…
We were sat and waited a good 10 minutes for someone to even come by and get our drink order...The food itself was very very bland. The vibe was eh, and we paid 18$ for some crab rangoon's (only 6 …
Food, service, prices and just about everything. \nThis use to be one of our favorite places to dine. But about a year ago it started going down hill. We would go to the one in Seaport Village for …
Terrible. waited almost an hour for a $100+ Uber eats order and they forgot one of the main entrees. Thanks for ruining my dinner. Busy parent of two truly appreciates not being able to eat. The ma…
Horrible. Way over cooked. Boyfriend has food intolerances, the manager couldn’t care less about asking how he needed the food prepared. Would never go back
So I stopped hear and when something seems a little off I tend to ignore my intuition. I included pictures how it was given to me. The garlic cheese bread was not cooked through enough to make the cheese stick it just started to fall off, the fish was flaky breading falling off. The way it was presented excluding the service with out napkins are any utensils gave me the impression this is not a diverse place to eat. Wish I could get a refund. I was just passing through, let me announce to management yes I am from the island and of brown complexion I will not visit your location again.
We’ve been coming here for about a year now, so this was disappointing. The food quality has noticeably declined recently, and dishes we usually enjoy were inconsistent. We order the same items each visit, so it’s unclear what changed over the past week or so to cause such a drop in quality.
The service was disappointing. Never felt like the server was interested at all about our needs. Had to ask other servers for assistance. The glass with my drink was dirty with leftover food on the rim!!! The food was definitely not the quality of the former Fish Market. It was the worse Caesar salad I have ever had anywhere in my 70 years of eating Caesar salads all over the world!!! The French fries with fish snd chips were soggy and cold and the fish was tasteless. As an old time customer of Del Mar and San Diego Fish Market I must say I will never return!!!
