I've had great service EVERY time at Jimmy Johns ... In fact I'm kind of picky and they've gone above and beyond to get my order taken care of. To those that said go next door to Pita Pit- that's the place I'd give "1 star" as they are usually not even open during their regular posted hours. If you want a good sandwich and you want it fast Jimmy Johns is for you 👏

in 16 minutes or less. No need to go anywhere for lunch with Jimmy Johns on the job. Ordered over a dozen times from the Fry Street location to my office downtown and I got perfect, prompt service and a great lunch each time. A++++++++++++

I got a veggie sandwich with some spicy sauce, it was frekin great! I would highly recommend anybody who's vegetarian to try this sandwich 🥪❤️
So I was having issues ordering online, but my bank was sending the "approved charge" message. Spoke with these guys on the phone and they were so helpful and accommodating! Was able to put in my order over the phone with the manager, no issues. Very pleased with their service. (And of course the food is always great.)
These guys are AWESOME! We were at Texas Presby hospital, ordered delivery several times (and to-go once)...every order right, freaky fast, and of course FRESH. Best Jimmy John's experience I've ever had, and I've had a bunch all over the state! Word of warning: driving *to* this location can be a bit confusing being right on UNT campus edge. Be sure to watch those one-way streets!
The workers at this Jimmy John’s are amazing! Always kind and so efficient. They almost always have my sandwich ready before I can even finish filling up my drink! My favorite place to get lunch during a work day. 👍👍👍
Not sure what everyone is talking about regarding poor customer service or rudeness but perhaps they should check their own perception? I've been going to this Jimmy Johns since living in Denton for the past four years!!! I have NEVER had one bad experience with long waits or poor customer service! In fact everyone is always very nice and accommodating. The food is good too!
So it's been a long time since I've visited Jimmy's johns in denton due to my divorce and drug charges that ended in me moving to Oklahoma. I stopped in today to see my ex wife and kids for the first time in 2 and half years. They never showed up and I waited for about an hour to eat so the sandwich was a little bit soggy but the staff working were so amazingly kind and respectful. The crew that made my lunch turned what was going to be one of the worst days of my life into a decently priced lunch with chips and a drink. Amazing work guys 🤙 pants off to you

This is one of the best Jimmy John's I've eaten at! I've been eating on and off here for years and they've always made a solid sandwich and delivered it super quick. The store its self has always been clean and they staff respectful and professional. I've hit this spot up a few times in the last couple of weeks and whoever has been making my beach clubs has been killing it. I'm not supposed to eat cucumbers and unlike a lot of places this spot has yet to forget to exclude them.

Always thought their prices were a bit too high for just a sandwich. However they will sell you their day-old bread for 50 cents which is pretty cool. All in all a great place to stumble into after a night on Fry.

This is not a fine dining establishment, it’s a fast food sub shop. When the lowest tip option you offer is 10% what that tells your customers is that you’re not paying your employees enough. I hope I’m wrong. If this changes then I’ll modify the review. Overall a good location though.

I love this place but the delivery is very hit and miss. I'm two blocks away and some times I get my single sandwich delivery in 10 minutes, other times it's much longer. I'm currently waiting for my sandwich that was ordered over an hour ago. Ridiculous.
For the most part this place is great! Quick service and mostly correct orders. This most recent time, however, I called to order and the employee took my card number twice, then called again 5 minutes later to ask for it a third time. I was a tad suspicious as to why, but he assured me that there was no problem and the system had just gone down for a moment. We waited around an hour (they usually deliver within 30 min) and I called them again as they were about to close. They said that had gone to some random address on the other side of the city and that they’d let the delivery driver know of the “change”. I then got a text from the delivery driver showing my order on the doorstep of someone else’s house. When I texted back and asked where they were/told them it wasn’t my house, they never responded. Here’s to hoping it’s a one time thing!

Late night hunger and I went in to get some grub. No problem serving me and I had NO mask on. I waited for my food (NOT WEARING A MASK) I ate my food there (NOT WEARING A MASK) and I left (NOT WEARING A MASK)…I left thanking everyone for great service and then I walk in 5 minutes later with my bf and all of a sudden it’s “no mask no service”…? I’m sorry but if you’re gonna do that at least be consistent with it??? Also, if you’re gonna do the mask preach maybe provide masks for people who don’t have them. Be apart of the solution???
The prices are absurdly high. I used to be able to get their most basic sandwich for less than $5. Not anymore. I have an oven at home and can make the same sandwich for a fourth of the price.
Thought the were "freaky fast?" Called 30 min ago. Just ordered one sandwich. Still waiting. But the food is fire so 3 stars for sure. 8 months later, still same problem. I ordered a sandwich an hour ago..still waiting. There is absolutely nothing fast about this place
Good sandwiches, but if you get delivery you either get it within 10 minutes or over an hour. Edit: While Mike (owner) did follow up to get my order replaced/refund my money. I took the former deal and made some attempts to use it but could not get my replaced order. Asked for a refund instead and haven't heard back.
Here's my issue. The food is fine. I am a creature of habit, so before speak my mind on an issue it is not because of a one time occurrence. With each order I always leave instructions to leave the food with the staff at the ER entrance, being that I work in the hospital and only eat JJ while here. I noticed that whenever I place an order online WITHOUT leaving the tip with it, the driver calls to notify when they are arriving and where they are located and that I need to sign the receipt. Cool, because on those occasions I more than likely have cash for the tip. But when I place an order online and add the tip WITH my order I NEVER get a call. *please reread my third sentence* Last night I placed an order, left the tip online...guess what? No call. I happened to check the tracker amd that is how I found out it was delivered. Tonight I placed an order, without leaving a tip online...guess what? "Hi, this is your Jimmy John's delivery driver letting you know that you food is in lobby. Would you like to leave a tip?" I politely declined. This is probably the 5th time it has happened and after this order I am no longer going to utilize the restaurant.

While I can’t comment about their food, you should avoid an incident with a delivery driver at all costs. Over THREE MONTHS AGO on Sept 10th, one of their driver’s car toppers flew off on the road and caused damage to my very new vehicle. The store manager apologized and was very sweet and promised they would take care of it but she wasn’t sure of the correct process so she would have the owner contact me. After continuing to check in, I finally got in touch with the owner, Mike. Once he knew the damage was a little over $2000 he said he had to consult with his attorney. Eventually (around a month) after repeated calls back to the owner and store manager, I was told I would have to work with the driver directly and his personal insurance. They wouldn't provide any contact information but said they would have him call me. After another few weeks, we finally filed a claim on the driver’s insurance which they promptly denied since he was working at the time of the incident. Back to calling, texting and emailing Jimmy Johns owner with no return responses. On Nov 14th, I received a call from his attorney asking if I would accept a check for the amount of the estimate and sign a release from further liability. At this point, I was happy with that resolution, taking a chance that there could be unknown damage when I took my car in to get repairs completed. The attorney said I would hear from the owner within a day or two to schedule a time to meet him to pick up the check and sign the paperwork. For over a month I did not hear from any Jimmy Johns representatives even though I made continuous calls, texts and left voicemails for the owner Mike, store manager and attorney. I finally called the store and happened to catch the store manager who told me she was taken out of the loop on the situation and had no answers for me. All I want is for my new vehicle to be repaired to its original state due to the damage caused by Jimmy Johns. Throughout this entire process, I have been very patient, polite and understanding however I believe Mike is hoping I will just go away. He has continued to ignore all communication from me, not returning any calls, etc. It’s very disappointing to have a franchise owner in our community that lacks concern and does not take responsibility for his business. Judging from my limited interaction with Mike, please be wary of any business interactions you may have with him. As a franchise owner of multiple Jimmy Johns locations, surely this is not the first delivery driver incident he’s encountered. What if this had been a more serious accident and someone was injured, would he still disregard the damages done as he has in my situation??
A friend and I went here one night after work. We went in, placed our order, paid cash, and weren't issued a receipt. We waited for our sandwiches for 15-20 minutes before he went up and asked what was taking them longer than usual. The manager asked to see our receipt, to which we replied we were never issued one. He then told us that if we had no record of our purchase we should either pay for another one or leave. Are you kidding me? Let me say, I'm in the customer service industry and even if your customer doesn't have their receipt, it's simple to go through your transaction history. We stood our ground, even called out the one who was serving us, and they stood looking at us and their manager dumbfounded not saying anything. The manager got annoyed enough to involve the police and we were eventually escorted out. We never received our money back. Police said there was no proof on either side for them to believe us or them, yet we were the ones escorted out. I've been a pretty big supporter of that particular restauraunt, but the manager there is beyond horrendous. They won't be receiving any more of my business while someone so incompetent is over there running things. Jimmy John's fix this.
These clowns claimed they delivered to me and didn't (at midnight). I stayed up until 2am before going to sleep. I smoke cigarettes outside so I know my food wasn't there when I went to bed. At 11 in the morning I find my food on the porch. I told the manager the next day and said he couldn't refund my money and had me leave my name and number for the OWNER who never called me. I called one more time to leave my name and number and still never heard anything. IT'S LITERALLY THEFT.
Jimmy johns claimed they delivered my food and it never showed up after being told it was here. My room is right by the front door and I can see when people come and go. I called and they were extremely rude, not helpful and would not give me my money back or replace the food. I asked if they had picture evidence of my door and he didn’t have an answer
I worked at two Jimmy Johns in high school and then in college and this is not it. I ordered here and it was not freaky fast. I could have went there and then home twice and beat their drivers to my house. Once I waited almost 2 hours to get my food and if I didn't already pay in cash I would have went elsewhere. Don't eat here.
Well, I used to love ordering from this place up until I had contact with a very rude driver on the road, so to the driver that felt the need to honk and give me the finger. Grow up. I am very disappointed to see that a company handles drivers this way, this has put an EXTREMELY bad taste in my mouth and I will not be ordering my normal every other night order, I'll simply go someplace else where the drivers are more respectable.
I live 1.3 miles away from the store and they dont deliver to me.....that's really crappy as I've had Jimmy John's delivery from a different store to a location that was like 10 miles away. If a little less than a mile and a half is "too far" then you need to reevaluate your business model.
Ok There's A Black Man By The Name of Roy Rolland .. He has been placing voodoo on order's, he brings a ouiij board to work an does Black magic.. me and my friends come here on a day to day basis... we have a big problem here not only is that an issue he's hiring gay men to Work for him. Which there is a man that he's sleeping with at jimmy john's named RAVEN ... AT THE STORE HE TOLD HIM THAT ROY NUTTTED ON HIS REDBULL.... LOOK I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU SELLING BUT ME AND MY FRIENDS WILL TAKE OUR BUSINESS ELSE WHERE... Definitely need a new a new manager and crew
I usually have no issues with ordering food from this location, however, I recently ordered a sandwich for delivery and when my order was delivered it arrived along side several receipts of previous instances in which I had forgotten to tip which were emphasized with drawn circles around the 0's on the tip line. I am a waitress myself and I understand the value of tipping those who handle your food, with that being said each instance in which I had forgotten was a genuine misstep of my ordering experience. The placement of the tipping OPTION is in a location not necessary to completing the order within the app, and missing it is not a consistency for me as a customer. The receipts I received were from this current order as well as another from December and one dating all the way back to October, and were (I assume) printed out by an employee named Vontavious as their name was printed on the receipt as "order taker." I was scared to eat the food out of fear it was tampered with in some way. Following this instance, my partner called the store and spoke with a "manager" who refused to give their name, or the name of the GM. They instead told us their name "started with a C", and instead told us we would be receiving a call from the GM at 9:30am the following day. This experience has been ridiculous and frankly shameful on behalf of the business. Do better.
The past few times I've ordered delivery here it's taken 2.5-3 hours to arrive. This time it didn't arrive at all. I called them at the two hour mark and they told me that my order had been delivered an hour prior. It hadn't been, so I asked them if there was anything that could be done about it. They told me that it wasn't a fault on their end so they didn't have to do anything about it. Probably not going to order delivery here again.

I recently visited Jimmy John’s and was very disappointed by the service I received from the manager on duty, Von. Here's what happened: Von had a disgusting attitude and demeanor and I honestly can’t believe he’s a manager. His interaction was so unprofessional, I was actually offended by his behavior. Unfortunately, the manager responded with a dismissive comment like "This isn't Subway" and refused to remake the sandwich that he messed up despite it being his mistake and problem. He even left behind the counter and approached two women in an aggressive manner and this is on the video footage of the store which I hope someone will review. This type of response is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the customer service standards at Jimmy John’s. A good manager should be willing to address customer concerns and find a solution, especially when a simple mistake is involved. He refused to provide us with the corporate number or his superior’s information so we could file a formal complaint regarding his behavior and customer service. I hope Jimmy John’s takes steps to ensure their managers prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a positive dining experience.
Food was supposed to be delivered at 12n. Was not there. I walked over to Jimmy John to pick up. Order was not made yet. Had to wait. Lunch was late. Customer Service is horrible.
They completely messed up my order. Which is normally not a big issue but when you add cheese to an ultimate porker which does not come with cheese, and when asked if I want cheese I say no. (Also messed up my other sandwich) My baby has a milk allergy and milk would get passed into the breastmilk. Now I have an irritated baby and have to buy specialty formula for the next week because of this screwup. Don’t expect them to make your order correctly.
So I ordered a foot long veggie extra vegetable no Mayo leave the bread in and when I got my food they made it a regular veggie now mind you I paid $20 and when I called back to get it made properly THEY HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Customer service is supposed to be your number one rule of owning a business, yet they did not fulfill their duties as a business. I am displeased if I could write them any lower I would, I have a child! I am truly disgusted, the manager even hung up the phone on me, rude, zero out of 10 would not come here ever again. If you want a place with good customer service, go to McDonald's.

“Freaky fast” must mean they’ll make your sandwich freaky fast only after you confront them for ignoring your order for 15-20 minutes so they can work on online orders and the multiple people who ordered after you in store.
I ordered delivery through the app. 32 minutes later I received a text saying that Uber would deliver my order. I called the store and was informed that there has only been one person there since 8: 00pm which is absolutely unacceptable. I am absolutely irate that anyone is in that position and I am extremely disappointed because it took over an hour for my order to arrive. These employees deserve better support from middle and upper management. As a former delivery cyclist and manager I am extremely disappointed in this location.
“Freaky fast” must mean they’ll make your sandwich freaky fast only after you confront them for ignoring your order for 15-20 minutes so they can work on online orders and the multiple people who ordered after you in store.
I ordered delivery through the app. 32 minutes later I received a text saying that Uber would deliver my order. I called the store and was informed that there has only been one person there since 8: 00pm which is absolutely unacceptable. Food was supposed to be delivered at 12n. Was not there. I walked over to Jimmy John to pick up. Order was not made yet. Had to wait. Lunch was late. Customer Service is horrible.
I recently visited Jimmy John’s and was very disappointed by the service I received from the manager on duty, Von. Here's what happened: Von had a disgusting attitude and demeanor and I honestly can’t believe he’s a manager. His interaction was so unprofessional, I was actually offended by his behavior. Unfortunately, the manager responded with a dismissive comment like "This isn't Subway" and refused to remake the sandwich that he messed up despite it being his mistake and problem. He even left behind the counter and approached two women in an aggressive manner and this is on the video footage of the store which I hope someone will review. This type of response is not only unprofessional but also reflects poorly on the customer service standards at Jimmy John’s. A good manager should be willing to address customer concerns and find a solution, especially when a simple mistake is involved. He refused to provide us with the corporate number or his superior’s information so we could file a formal complaint regarding his behavior and customer service. I hope Jimmy John’s takes steps to ensure their managers prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a positive dining experience.
They completely messed up my order. Which is normally not a big issue but when you add cheese to an ultimate porker which does not come with cheese, and when asked if I want cheese I say no. (Also messed up my other sandwich) My baby has a milk allergy and milk would get passed into the breastmilk. Now I have an irritated baby and have to buy specialty formula for the next week because of this screwup. Don’t expect them to make your order correctly.
So I ordered a foot long veggie extra vegetable no Mayo leave the bread in and when I got my food they made it a regular veggie now mind you I paid $20 and when I called back to get it made properly THEY HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. Customer service is supposed to be your number one rule of owning a business, yet they did not fulfill their duties as a business. I am displeased if I could write them any lower I would, I have a child! I am truly disgusted, the manager even hung up the phone on me, rude, zero out of 10 would not come here ever again. If you want a place with good customer service, go to McDonald's.
