A beautifully curated museum with amazing pieces of art from various cultures and ethnicities. A wonderful experience in a well-designed space that enriches the soul. Every piece of artwork evokes emotion and captivates the eyes. Definitely a must see, do not miss one of the best museums in the world!

Amazing art museum!! I really enjoyed the Pissaro exhibit and I appreciated the FREE audio thing that would talk you through the exhibit. After the exhibit we visited a couple other wings and there was so much incredible artwork everywhere!! I would say that there is WAAAYY too much to see in one day!!

Visiting the Denver Art Museum was a wonderful experience. It has been more than 20 years since we were here, and it's changed a lot. The experience was fabulous. From the Western and Indigenous art to treasures from Asia and Latin America, to Alaskan art, as well as classic European and American art, it's all there! We're so glad we had time to visit this outstanding institution, and we highly recommend it.

Amazing museum! I was so impressed by Van Gogh, Monet and many other impressionism pieces! I went for the Pissaro’s exhibit and it was absolutely incredible!

We came on Denver Night at the Museum, I wasn’t expecting a line out the door. Silly of me, with kids it was cold but moved quickly. Once they were in the museum it all changed & imagination began. I am so grateful for all the kind employees & the city I live it. The hands on activities & the illusions of sound & light. They were captivated as was I.

A very fun experience here, lots of high quality art pieces and so much more to see! The Denver Art Museum is definitely worth your time if you're interested in unique art or just looking for inspiration.

Excellent experience! No wait time to enter. There was no line to buy tickets on a Saturday. Your ticket includes like 3 different buildings with different tupe of art. You should reserve a full day there so you'd see everything.

Very fine collection of art from classical to modern; furniture design to sculptures and totem poles. The building, inside and out, makes for an interesting visit with odd angles and non vertical walls. Admission is reasonable. One could easily spend 4-5 hours here.

I love the Denver Art Museum for its thoughtfully curated, well-structured exhibitions. I recently visited the Pissarro exhibit with a friend, and while the artwork was excellent, the highlight of our visit was Bettina. Bettina shared insights about Pissarro’s early life, family dynamics, and body of work that went far beyond the exhibit notes or audio guide. Her knowledge, warmth, and ability to bring the art to life made the experience truly memorable. I will absolutely be back with more friends and hope to encounter her again, she is an invaluable resource and offers the kind of guided insight I would gladly pay for.

Nice museum with lots of cool outdoor artwork, solid permanent exhibitions, and usually something special in the travelling exhibition area. The current Pissaro exhibit is world class. Visit this place!

Amazing mix of classic and modern art! Historical artifacts from around the world are on display! The section are well defined and meticulously curated. Long day to see the entire museum! Amazing restaurant and bar!

We only went to see the Pizarro exhibit. It was well done albeit a bit crowded. Probably because it was a weekend midday and the exhibit will end soon. We left the museum wishing we could have spent hours in the place and we will next time we are visiting Denver.

The Denver Art Museum was an absolute highlight of my trip. I planned to spend about two hours there but got so absorbed that I stayed for over four. The collections are impressive and diverse, ranging from Native American art to contemporary pieces. The building itself is architecturally striking, adding to the experience. The museum is well-organized, with clear signage and friendly staff. It’s a perfect place to explore art in depth, and I highly recommend setting aside plenty of time to really enjoy it. The only reason I left was because I had other plans that day.

I was very impressed. The art museum is enormous, consisting of three buildings, two of which have 4-5 floors with hundreds of exhibitions. There are so many historically and culturally unique exhibits. In my opinion, it is a must-visit in Denver.

Amazing exhibit by Camille Pissarro ! Looking at his early works and then his paintings as an adult are wonderful. I love his variety of clouds.

Incredible architecture, it feels unreal to stand underneath it, both wings have great pieces and you can fin Van Gohs, Monets, Rodin ans many more great artists.

I love the DAM, I go almost monthly during the Free Days. Great exhibits for everyone, lots of history, and the place is always clean and well maintained.

Great place to spend a couple of hours in Denver. Small enough to be not overwhelming but diverse in art to keep you interested. I just wish there was an option to buy military tickets online.

Great mix of old and new, some really groovy and innovative pieces along with an exhibit on Pissaro. Definitely recommend going.

Worth your time if you're in the Denver area! We found prices to be a bit higher than other art museums we've visited in other cities, but since we had the CityPass we gave it a shot and did not regret our decision! Four hours was not nearly enough to tour the three buildings, but we saw enough to be impressed. Definitely recommend!

Great mix of modern and historical art. There’s so much to explore here, you really could spend an entire day at the museum. I only had a few hours but I never got tired of it.

I spent several hours here and still didn't see everything there's three different buildings one of them has seven stories. If you actually interested in looking at art you need to give yourself plenty of time because this place is remarkable and amazing I seen works of many of our most famous painters ranging from Van Gogh to Renoir along with a lot of beautiful Native American exhibits I can't speak enough to the beauty of this place. Personally I would need a couple of days to explore this place fully and then the exhibits change

The Denver Art Museum contains every type of exhibit imaginable. Visiting from NM yesterday, my husband thought I was nuts to "waste" the few hours we had in Denver "in a boring art museum." Well guess what? We both loved it! In fact, he wishes we'd had more time available to spend enjoying the exhibits and now he even wants to visit more art museums. I hope he won't be disappointed - after all, the Denver Art Museum has set a high bar! @KittyDeschanel

The building was massive, I could have spent all day there if I wasn’t busy. Each level is categorized by its own theme/art style. The Martin Building has seven levels. The bridge connecting it to the Hamilton Building was a great way to see the surrounding buildings. Ultimately it was spotless and quiet despite the amount of people.

Always a blast. Huge place with lots to see. Big variety. I was annoyed that they were still charging to see Pissarro's Impressionism on free day.

We went for their Free Day which was much appreciated! We really enjoyed the History is Painted by the Victors exhibit which showed the treatment of this nations first peoples by the police, nuns, etc. I cried quite a few times looking at all the paintings because it’s so beautifully done but also heartbreaking seeing it. I took photos but if you can, please go experience it in person!

You can easily spend four hours here. Everything is well done. My favorite piece they own is called The Family of Street Acrobats. I loved the colorful yarn exhibit with positive affirmations. The video is from a newer exhibit that was also a favorite.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Denver Art Museum. We took advantage of one of their free days to enjoy a special exhibit "History is Painted by the Victors," and Korean ceramics, both contemporary and current. The museum has so many wonderful collections. It is a real gem, and is not too be missed.

I truly loves this museum. There were so many different cultures featured, items from ancient to modern. There are 7 levels, multiple buildings, and some very ancient and precious pieces. The tickets are pretty expensive ($27) but it was worth it to me. The facilities are modern, with lockers, cafe, and museum store, though the items are pretty pricey. I would recommend this museum to others.

The Denver art museum is one of the cultural staples of the state. It is always full of wonderful visiting exhibits that expand your world views and open your mind. This is a great spot to visit with friends, family or to take a date.

The Denver Art Museum is such a wonderful place! There is so much to see and so much to learn. Beautiful paintings and sculptures and so much history to learn. We did not realize there were three separate buildings but there is a decent amount of exhibits to check out. We only got to two of the buildings within about an hour and a half but assume you could probably spend about two hours here. Now for my standard comments. Location is clean and well kept. Staff is very friendly!

This museum is excellent! I was amazed to see so many historically and culturally significant works housed here- I am grateful and fortunate to have had the opportunity to witness them firsthand instead of via reproductions or digital versions. The Pissarro exhibit was beautiful and it was my first time experiencing the audio option where you get a little device much like an old house phone to listen to information regarding his life and the works themselves. I was amazed at how quiet and non-disruptive this was. I would love to come back and spend the whole day here. I highly recommend visiting. There are numerous paintings by Monet, Van Gogh, and Remembrandt to name a few. Even a mild art enjoyer would love this museum I suspect. I would like to see more added to the Asian art section, though. I was surprised at how few types of pieces there were, such as buddhist thangkas and line drawings. These would make a phenomenal addition.

Attended the Camille Pissarro exhibit. We liked works from Monet so we assumed we would like these as well. We did!! Also enjoyed learning about the artist Ticket counter only had 2 people. Glad we pre bought ours so we were able to avoid that line. Included a few pics. Well worth the visit!

What an amazing visit it was. The day I went was free entry and there are three buildings that I have had the chance to visit. I only managed two of them, one had 4 stories and the other seven stories. If you cannot find something here that I terests you than I don't know what to say....

Stunning building and extensive museum! Love that they offer a student discount & one ticket gets access to all 3 buildings. Only downside was feeling a bit micromanaged by staff who followed patrons around. Otherwise a lovely time!

Lots of amazing exhibits here with amazing g history. you definitely need a full day to explore everything. It was pretty awesome to go on the free days. How can you go wrong with that? I don't think I will come back until a year later to see what new exhibits and artists are there!

Pissarro display was great. Loved the quotes on the walls. The notes and narrative that put his works in context, and the insights into the person's motivation and character. The layout of the pieces was a little difficult to follow though.
