We went for dinner at this nice location on the lake. The food was delicious from chef Claudio. He makes the pasta fresh every morning. We also tried a typical food from the area called sciatt (fried cheese in batter) which you must get when you’re there. Liked the casual vibe and food comes out quick. Delicious!!!

This is the best restaurant in Dervio -the fish dishes and the fantastic cakes! (Make sure to get the cake.) The fish in this image I posted was 7€. Good value for money. The staff are wonderful. If you go for lunch, kitchen closes at 2pm.

Ordered a plate with local fish (€17) and a beer (€3.50)—very tasty! I didn’t enjoy the bread, but my wife did—it was hard with a hint of olive oil. The fish was excellent and enough to fill two people. Friendly staff, too.

Wanted to try out this place after reading the reviews. I do not regret it! As others have stated, this is a take-away place. So you order and they call your name when it’s ready. You can sit close to the lake on their tables, though some are reserved. Food-wise: I took the grilled fish of the lake. Well cooked, and it is excellent value for 18€. I recommend trying out this place if you’re around! Also, at least on Sundays, there are some other shops around. One was selling wine, olive oil… Nice to walk around afterwards :)

We are in Dervio for two days so far, and we have had two dinners in a row at this place. Even though it's a take out place, there are tables outdoors, which are right next to the lake. Atmosphere wise, it's hard to beat. The quality of the food is also excellent. The crust of the fish was wonderful, and yet the inside was moist. Perfection! The grilled vegetables were also perfectly cooked. The chef really knows his craft. It's the best value. Period. If you want good service, though, go elsewhere and expect to pay three to six times more.
