Sublime experience. Everything was perfect, starting with the service, always friendly and kind to customers. Excellent food, in my opinion, one of the best restaurants in western Liguria. We had a tasting menu that included a welcome drink with frischeu, followed by a tartare that melted in your mouth, a caramelized fig risotto for the first course, a second course of umbrina with mussel sauce, and for dessert a caramelized fig with ice cream, fig cream, and a honey wafer. The location is surrounded by greenery. The price for this menu is €43, excellent in terms of quality-price and especially the quantity of dishes. Congratulations 💪

Samuele in the kitchen, not the cook... it's pure poetry! A cozy atmosphere and excellent service complete this gem... adding a touch of class to Dolcedo! Here, everything is homemade, from the bread to the pasta, including the desserts! All of the chef's creations are a spark of genius... nothing is left to chance... the tasting menu and à la carte selection complete the picture! The restaurant is located in the heart of Dolcedo, on a narrow street where I don't recommend driving; it's best to leave it in the square near the Sferisterio. The dining room is small but welcoming. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are average. The kitchen offers a fixed menu for €43 (for the whole table) or à la carte, with prices ranging from €16 (starters) to €26 (main courses). The rye focaccia is delicious. The desserts are noteworthy: many beautiful creations to look at and taste.

The flavor is incredibly refreshing and delicate, clearly crafted with passion. Every dish we tried was equally exceptional, with the desserts standing out as a highlight. We had a beautiful dinner for two at Casa della Rocca. We were swiftly greeted by a waitress, that immediately set us up at a beautiful table outside in their magnificent location. Their personnel is exceptionally qualified, well trained and fluent in many languages such as English, German, French and obviously Italian. The menu was well presented and a wide variety of specials were available. We opted for porcini, lumberjack and purple shrimps (local delicacy) that were all specials available that evening. Each dish had a delicate yet refined taste, giving you that “wow” factor that is sought after in premium restaurants. Everything at Casa della Rocca, ranging from bread and breadsticks to the desserts, is made by their exceptional chefs. The dinner was amazing and the prices are perfectly matched to the quality of the food. Samuele and Fabio lead an impressive team of highly skilled chefs that deliver a memorable experience. If you have an opportunity to try this culinary experience, it will definitely fulfil your palate. Well done!

We took the 4 course menu and we could even change one part as we prefered pasta instead of risotto - perfect choice! The food was delicious and beautifully arranged. Elegant atmosphere especially outside! A special thank to the young lady who explained everything in english and served us with a big smile:-)

Located at the end of a small street in a rural Italian town this restaurant had great service, great food, great wine and a chef that took the time to explain to us where our food was sourced from. Beautiful setting for this restaurant with excellent and creative food. Very good balance of taste with a few nicely mixed Asian references in the menu we tried like Teriyaki Poulpo. To try absolutely. Only important thing, in summer the village is often crowded and impossible to parc. It is advised to parc at the church/stadium in the entrance of the village then to follow the road on the left of the bridge at the entrance of the place to cut trough the old city. The 5min walk is enchanting before arriving at the restautant

This place and staff were incredible!!! We came a little close to closing and felt terrible but the staff was beyond friendly and took us since they still had some other tables. We didn’t get a chance to try their tasting menu, instead we had 2 pasta dishes that were delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough. Just so happy to have experiences this wonderful place!

Ero stufo dei soliti ristoranti sul lungomare con una cucina ferma da 30 anni. Casa Della Rocca è un ottimo ristorante, proposte innovative ed un ottima valorizzazione dei prodotti, vale assolutamente la pena di salire in auto e inoltrarsi nell'entroterra. Unica pecca i tempi d'attesa tra un piatto e l'altro un po' lunghi... Ma potrebbe esser stato un caso limitato a quella sera...

Ottima cena in un ambiente tranquillo e rilassato. Piatti ben preparati con un giusto equilibrio nei sapori. Buona anche la carta dei vini.

Bella location pulizia cortesia buon cibo. Un piccolo appunto: avviso dice" obligatory menu degustazione per gruppi" ok hanno spiegato che per cucina piccola non è possibile dare seguito ad ordini diversi nel gruppo. Perfetto ma il termine obligatorio stona per un ospite. Sarebbe stato preferable dire" per motivi logistics siamo spacenti di non poter esaudire le richieste degli ospiti,siamo sicuri della vostra comprensione. Stesso risultato senza il termi e brutto obbligatorio

Ottimi piatti preparati con prodotti selezionati e abbinamenti mai scontati. La location è davvero suggestiva, immersa in un borgo di grande fascino che contribuisce a rendere l’esperienza speciale. Unico limite i tavoli esterni, un po’ stretti e sacrificati rispetto al contesto complessivo. Nel complesso, però, un indirizzo da consigliare.

We were very excited for our night at Casa Della Rocca thanks to the many positive reviews, however we couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. The waiters felt a bit off and weren't very warm or welcoming. The starters were good and nice dishes, but for my main course I had a steak, and I was asked how I wanted it prepared, so I said medium but it was basically well-done, which is something I didn't except from a restaurant with reviews and prices like this. We finished the wine after the starter and were not asked if we wanted another drink, and the waiters were so quick that we felt awkward asking for more, so we didn't. The dessert was okay but mediocre. When the bill came it was given to another table, so we had to fix it ourselves with the other table that we receive our bill. Altogether the restaurant was okay, but a little disappointing, and in our opinion the price range was a bit high for what you got. I also think 6 euros plainly for the couvert in a restaurant like this feels a bit off.

The food is acceptable but the rest is absolutely forgettable. Lousy service with inexperienced waiters and a manager who feels so superior that he contradicts and offends customers in Google reviews thinking he will get a good reputation out of it make the whole thing look ridiculous. Restaurant to be avoided and I feel sorry for the kitchen.
