Mi fermo qualche volta per un caffè di ritorno da un giro in bici. Il bar dispone di numerosi posti a sedere all'esterno, il servizio è cordiale e la posizione fronte lago invidiabile.

Ho avuto modo di trascorrere una giornata (non la notte, quindi non ho conosciuto le camere) servito dallo staff del locale. Motivo: addio al celibato. Insomma le ragazze e i ragazzi del bar sono straordinariamente pazienti ed empatici, pizza, piadine e paella gustati con golosità e quindi un bel 5 anche alla cucina. Posizione tra le migliori ever!

Da un soggiorno di una notte posso dire che l'ambiente è davvero molto accogliente e tranquillo, con una vista bellissima (si è in riva al lago) e il personale è decisamente disponibile. Le camere sono spartane ma comode, il servizio bar ben fornito e la colazione molto ricca (se c'è bel tempo consiglio di farla all'esterno: l'alba sul lago crea un'atmosfera che sarebbe un peccato farsi sfuggire). Inoltre è molto facile da raggiungere ed ha un parcheggio spazioso.

Posizione fantastica con possibilità di noleggio sdraio. Ostello curato con personale simpatico e socievole. Grande disponibilità da parte del cuoco viste le mie richieste in quanto incinta. Ottimo l’hamburger con patatine. Prezzi modici e servizio veloce. Adatto a bimbi anche piccoli.

Stayed in a 6 bed female dorm and had a really great experience! The location was absolutely perfect - close to bus stops, the ferry and right on the lake. It felt like the perfect place to relax while also being able to access everything Domaso had to offer. In terms of service, the staff were ridiculously helpful - even taking time out of their day to go over the maps of Lake Como with me and help me plan the best route via bus and ferry to see all I wanted to see! They were friendly every day and super lovely to talk with. The bar and cafe was fun and fairly priced, they also held a beach party which was a really fun event! The room itself was nice and I liked the luggage storage under the bunks - the only thing I could fault/recommend is that the floors in the dorm get super dusty/dirty and a broom would’ve been a great addition to make it feel cleaner. Thanks so much for having us 💖 We will definitely be back!

LOVED staying here the vibe was amazing so beachy/islandy the bar had a great selection and good prices, food was also delicious, some staff were quite rude but others really nice particularly the hostess, the rooms were good, shower a little faulty and beds creaky, but view was incredible. Everyone in the room was talkative and willing to be friends, everyone is also chill if you come in late so dont stay here if thats not for you

I booked my mini vacation here because last year i was camping at Domaso and really enjoyed my trip there so i thought why not again. I decided to book at the beach Hostel but unfortunately there was some misunderstanding and i had to cancel it. Susanna is such a nice person she tried everything to help me and was very helpful and generous. I can only recommend you guys this hostel and the view is amazing

We stayed here last week - as 2 friends backpacking - and absolutely loved it. It isn’t the normal backpacker social vibe, but it is perfect if you want to explore Lake Como and stay in a beautiful relaxed hostel away from the busy areas. Getting to the hostel was easy and we had a bus from Como straight to Domaso - which they explained to us at the bus station in Como. (It would be even easier by car). It is a 40 minute bus to Menaggio and very easy to get the ferry from here to see other areas of the lake. The hostel itself was very clean and despite only having a small social area - it had a rooftop terrace to chill on and a fridge where we could keep our food. We did end up eating out as we were unable to cook, but the food options nearby were cheap. The restaurant coffee in the morning was gorgeous and the views are unmatched. We also sat with blankets in the evening outside and played board games supplied at the restaurant downstairs. The thing that made this hostel most amazing for us was the staff! When I left a bag of clothes in my bedroom after check out, Susanna arranged for it to be shipped to my next hostel straight away and was so helpful. 10/10 would recommend people to stay here if they want a relaxing few days.

This place is amazing! We were pleasantly surprised with how amazing the location was. We had a room with balcony views and wow! What a spot. Great little restaurant and grass area/beach infront. Short walk to ferry and bus stops. Restaurants and shops nearby. Very relaxing and nice atmosphere. We had a great time here. Thanks guys!

Had a great stay here for only 2 nights but would recommend. Clean room, very friendly staff, nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Incredible view of the lake from the front of the hostel. Ideal in summer or for a short stay in Lake Como with plenty of walks nearby and good bus service (C10) to any location around the bay. After our nice meal at the restaurant the staff let us stay sat outside after midnight when we were still chatting to other travellers. We let ourselves in the back. Very kind.

Sono stato in questo "ostello" un fine settimana con la famiglia, il punto forte è sicuramente la posizione dista solamente 20 metri dal lago, le camere sono essenziali, pulite e se becchi quelle con terrazzino vista lago...."che te lo dico a fare", c'è anche una terrazza a disposizione del personale alloggiato dove puoi bere qualcosa e guardarti il panorama mozzafiato, c'èanche il bar e il ristorante. Consiglio ai proprietari di potenziare il frigo nei periodi di maggior afflusso, l'ho trovato stracolmo di roba e lo scomparto del congelatore non funzionava a dovere. Comunque per il resto sono ampiamente soddisfatto. Lo consiglio.

Fantastic value and great spot- honestly fantastic view and swim/sunbathe area. The bar was ridiculous loud, which sounds like a ridiculous complaint, but it was just families eating with the background music turned right up, which was making the babies cry. Also no tap in the kitchen was a bit annoying. Room fine, bike storage great. Average pizza. Overall good considering how cheap it is.

We visited for drinks so cannot comment on the hotel. Service was prompt, however order was delivered wrong and one drink was missing until requested. They were very busy and a lot of tables were reserved so we put it down to that. Drinks were reasonably priced. There is a great view of the lake. It is next door to a camp site and there were a LOT of people sat out front of the bar on the waters edge and nearby - which just made it all feel incredibly busy and manic. I imagine this place would be lovely in a quieter season with a better ambience being lake side. Definitely worth a visit.

If you're looking for a great stay in Lake Como, I highly recommend this place! The people are incredibly friendly, helpful, and kind. The service is efficient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the whole place feels very safe. The view is absolutely relaxing with a direct overlook of the lake — perfect for unwinding. I traveled solo and truly felt at home during my stay. The food is good, though it could be even better if they added a breakfast buffet — that would be a great improvement. If you don’t have a car, no worries — it’s not far from a bus stop, making it easy to get around. Plus, it’s not that expensive it's very affordable and accessible to everyone.

Good hostel overall. There was a cafe on the ground floor and still a kitchen with a microwave and a kettle on the 2nd floor. There was a great terrace on the 2nd floor there u can have a meal and look at the stars at night. ✨️🌟 Some of the bunkbeds in the dorm rooms are too close to one another. There is a small coworking section next to the café.

You can’t ask for a more idyllic looking location. Beautiful mountains and clear water. However, when it comes to longer stays, proximity to any restaurants or activities becomes an issue. Rooms are well maintained and bedding cleaned. However, without air-con and with shaking fans, sleeping can be extremely difficult. I thoroughly enjoyed this stay due to the views but recommend managing expectations and knowing that sleep/variety of food is difficult to come by here.

I stayed in the dormitory of this hostel. Very clean, they provide clean sheets, towels, lockers, soap, etc (I say that because there r hostels in Italy who don’t provide these). The only problem is the double beds: they are very noisy so each time someone moves, you hear it. Reception was nice, food and drink are in a fair price. If it’s sunny, you can take your morning bath in the lake because this hostel is right in front of the lake. I recommend this place:)

Valuto solo il bar: si può fare meglio. Piadina e bruschetta appena sufficienti, con materie prime da discount. Capisco che un ostello deve coprire più necessità e servizi, ma con un pò di impegno si può offire una cucina genuina che invita le persone a tornare. Drink buoni e posizione e vista ottima.

Abbiamo pernottato una notte, l'ultima della stagione in una camera privata con una vista spettacolare, camera ampia con bagno privato e terrazza.Posizione eccezionale Peccato che i pavimenti fossero davvero molto sporchi. Lenzuola e 1 asciugamano a testa compresi, camera decisamente basic, come ci si aspetta da un ostello, costo però quasi come un albergo. Nonostante tutto tornerei per la posizione deliziosa.

Siamo stati al bar per mangiare qualcosa a pranzo durante una giornata al lago. Devo dire che rispetto agli anni passati ho trovato una scelta meno ampia, c'erano pizze e piadine oltre a toast ma non i panini che in precedenza erano molto buoni. Il personale è cortese e simpatico come sempre e la posizione invidiabile

Nice place, good view, mediocre food (not pricy though). Bad service: they brought me the wrong drink, I then said it was the wrong beer. Later some lady came to my table to explain to me I was wrong. To that specific lady, an 80 year old with no taste buds could taste the difference.

We were just at the bar at the lake. Amazing view of course and somewhat comfy seats. Maybe the worst aperol ive ever had especially in Italien norms. Service unattentive and only minding their own business. Nerve wrecking mainstream Radio music. No style or Charme. 3 Stars -1 bc toilets looked awful as usual in Italy.

Siamo tornati in questo bar con cucina in queste calde giornate d'estate. La prima volte era andato tutto bene, cibo molto buono e ben curato. Quindi ci aspettiamo più o meno lo stesso livello ed invece abbiamo trovato un menù completamente diverso, cibo dozzinale cucinato in maniera davvero pessima. Capisco che si tratti di un bar con cucina ma far uscire certi mostri vuol dire avere zero cura del cliente e il cuoco zero capacità. Sinceramente non lo consiglierei più.

Prenoto con Booking.com e mi confermano la prenotazione. Quando arrivo la sera mi dicono che non hanno posto. Quando chiedo di avere indietro i soldi della prenotazione che avevo già pagato mi dicono che per avere indietro i soldi devo fare cancellazione della prenotazione. Quando cancello mi fanno scrivere da booking.com che devo pagare la penale di cancellazione e non mi rimborsano nulla. Veramente massima disonestà.

I am absolutely disgusted. I ordered the lasagna and it arrived swimming in grease — it was literally dripping with fat. It was inedible, but the worst part is that I ended up with stomach issues for two days because of it. This is unacceptable. I can’t believe a place would send out food in such a state. I will never come back here!
