Firstly superb service the young lady that served us was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. The food was 10/10 and a very friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

This was the first time I had visited Turkuaz Bar & Grill and it’s safe to say…I wasn’t disappointed!! The atmosphere and setting felt warm and vibrant. The team from the front of house to the kitchen were super-friendly and attentive and the food…wow! Utterly delicious and authentic Turkish cuisine. My friend and I sampled the hummus to start, followed by lamb shish and spicy minced lamb. For dessert, the lady (who actually made the desserts) recommended a traditional Turkish poppy seed cake…I would have taken a photo, but it was demolished in about 2mins flat! Outstanding! I would highly recommend this restaurant, it will leave you feeling like you have escaped to Turkey for an hour or two, wonderfully full and hopelessly content! Thank you, we will be back 🫶

Fabulous group meal. The restaurant was able to take a booking for 2 tables to accommodate us celebrating a selection of big birthdays. Service was great. Food was delicious and very reasonably prices. The music was a little loud but it didnt spoil the occasion. Highly recommended

How can I describe Turkuaz concisely enough so as not to take up too much of your time? To sum up Turkuaz in a fairly big nutshell (like a walnut or coconut) I would start by saying: Turkuaz is the best restaurant in Doncaster and certainly the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been to - its tremendous. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile and quite often a handshake from the owner - Kenny. You will then be presented with a basket of free bread (which should be offered in all restaurants) whilst you wait to decide on your order. Speaking of which, if you are considering Turkuaz I would recommend going for a full 3 course meal: The meatballs, sucuk, fried feta rolls and Albanian liver are all great starters however, if you are pushed for time I would say go for the meatballs - they are an exemplary display of how meatballs should be served and are often the highlight of my meal. That being said you won't go wrong with any of the starters that you choose. In terms of main courses you can't go wrong with the classics: Sarma Beyti, kebabs and skewers and Kleftico. The Iskenda is also a fan favourite. Next time I visit which, lets face it, will probably be in the next couple of days, I might try something from the Chef's specials as I am yet to do so. Moving on... For dessert I highly recommend the Baklava washed down with a Turkish tea to make the experience that little bit more authentic. Great food and great staff, lovely atmosphere at a decent price!

Definitely worth booking ahead as this popular restaurant has limited seating and fills up quickly on weekends. Still worth dropping in if you're a small party and happy to vacate the table by a set time as they might be able to squeeze you in. Generally good quality Turkish food across the board but the hot mixed mezze starter and the whole grilled fish mains deserve special mentions.

Amazing food, good value and excellent atmosphere.

Always really enjoy meals out at Turquaz. Staff are lovely. Food is excellent and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend. They usually have a belly dancer on Fri and Sat nights which is always very tasteful. Often a bit of fun if you want to have a go.

The food was delish we ordered lamb, chicken nuggets and strips and chicken oh and don't get me started with the atmosphere of the place it felt like magical the choice of music is like an angelic harp I loved it 10/10 recommend.

Turkuaz is a fantastic Turkish restaurant. It is a hidden gem of Doncaster. The best item for lamb enthusiast on the menu that you will not get anywhere else in the UK - Bombili lamb special. Succulent lamb steak pieces coupled with the ezme sauce going to appreciate Turkish food beyond the usual shish. This is coupled with a long list of bar offerings and other food of choice. I could not recommend it enough but you have to try to believe it. The owner is very friendly and he has the most heart warming smile that makes you go back again and again. Both make me feel great after 4 hour drive for my property projects. Many more visits are expected to follow.

Called in while meeting friends in Doncaster. The lady that showed us to the table was unsure of what we could have on the special £50 for 2 so what we believed to be the owner came and took our order. The food arrived quickly and was so nice and full of flavour. We ordered a second round of drinks that the owner said he would pay for but we insisted no. When the bill came we were only charged for one round of drinks. We will return next time in Doncaster and would recommend Turkuaz to anyone. We forgot to take photos as we were so enjoying the food 😂

Went this afternoon, because where we was planning to go wasn't available. Well we wasn't disappointed Lovely complementary dips/ bread. Got a mixed kebab. Chicken/ lamb, husband got a minced lamb kebab, was sooo good ,no service charge, no add ons, highly recommend this superb restaurant

A Thursday evening, the venue was quiet and that was exactly what we wanted. Brilliant service, some freebies thrown in, and the food was excellent. To be honest, you could almost forget this was Doncaster, especially on a warm summer evening. Highly rated.

The best Turkish restaurant I know in the UK. They were usually making me some discounts. Last time I asked the same for my foreign friend because he was trying Turkish food for the first time. Unfortunately they rejected my request. Actually I should not have asked in the first place. So, I still give 5 stars.

Everything was spot on! If you are craving good food please make sure you try this place. Good service, nice ambient and delicious dishes.

Food: great, all meals tasty, grilled meat full of flavour, starters amazing. Drinks: Turkish beer is fine but coctails need to be improved, some of them are tasteless, other like Margarita strong like shot of tequila. Atmosphere: this restaurant is very popular so tables are packed, you might seat with other people so close, that feels like you join a bigger party. Service: good enough. The only thing which left bitter aftertaste is our bill, we found later that one cocktail was added and another 4 for 3 offer haven't been given. Anyway, it's a good Turkish authentic restaurant worth to visit.

Really nice place to visit. Atmosphere was great, service was good and was child friendly :). High chairs available. Clean place. Food was great! Starters were amazing from the meat to the dips we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Mains we got sharing platter - wasn’t too bad but I found it quite dry. Deffo needed sauces.

The place was really cold, got freezed. It is OK for British people who can walk in a T-short below 0 but for me it was not warm enough there. The toilet door behind the restaurant was open and not nice smell with a draft was coming from there. Maybe it was down to the table place in the restaurant but they should think about the heating and the smell.

Regular customer to never ordering again. Missing one of my main meal from delivery. Didn't want to make a big fuss so requested a refund for the item on app. Understanding could be human error on a busy night. Refund denied. How disappointing upon checking on other reviews here. Seems like happened to quite a few too.
