I WISH I would've found this place sooner! Come here for authentic (a.k.a., delicious) Colombian food at an awesome price. I recently had the full breakfast, which includes scrambled eggs, steak, rice & beans, and arepa con queso. - Is that a lot of food? Absolutely. Even my large appetite couldn't handle the last few bites... - Is quantity served over quality? Absolutely not. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the steak. It's too often that a restaurant will skimp on this aspect to cut costs. And the eggs! Scrambled to my preference! Not too soggy (some people like their scrambled eggs wet, not me) yet not dry. As an OJ lover, I also must mention they serve freshly squeezed orange juice here. Gotta love a little pulp in your OJ... TLDR : small, delicious, and fair-priced Colombian restaurant that I have marked on my map for a future visit 😁

Lianet was an amazing waitress and the food was so amazing!!! The steak and fries with guacamole was so good.

Lovely Colombian food

A small, quaint, and cozy place that not many people know about in Miami with some of the best Colombian food that Miami. The portions are big, the ingredients are fresh , the service is warm and friendly. The meat is juicy and tender and the rice is hot and fresh . prices are decent too. would come back any day

My wife and I enjoy going here on Saturday’s for the Colombian arepas with cheese. They have a great special for $5 that includes eggs along with the arepa. Friendly staff ! 👏

I ordered the Bandeja Paisa with water to drink. I didn't want the bottle. The girl gladly replaced the bottle with a cup, but didn't refund my dollar. I enjoyed the food very much including perfectly seasoned beans and a steak that was very juicy for how thin it was. The poor rating is because hard selling the bottled water is as uncool as any hard selling. The mechant later reached out to correct the problem and this alone made anmends. It's not worth my while to collect $1, but advise remains not to hard sell. Not even a bottle of water.

My co workers and I work next door to this Café, and we eat lunch here at least twice a week. Freshest food and great service. I highly recommend this please to grab lunch.

They have daily specials for an affordable price and the food is delicious. I work nearby, therefore, going for lunch is very convenient but ordering from their website is super easy with fast delivery.

Edit after 2 years: They are still great, now look at their in-house food presentation. I have been ordering cantina from them by some months already. What they offer is absolutely amazing by the price. And they have legitimate Colombian flavor. Not all colombian restaurants will taste as if you're literally eating in Colombia. Great job guys.

Their food is delicious and when you order coffee “to go “ do not forget to ask for spoon and sugar( it happens to me :( and I ended up drinking my coffee with no sugar when I was back in my hotel room). This restaurant is small but very clean and the customer service is great!

I ordered the baby churrasco, which was tender and juicy, served with rice, beans, salad, and plantains. The portion was generous, and the price was reasonable. I also tried their empanadas, which were crispy and flavorful and filled with meat and cheese. They have a variety of antojitos (snacks) and desserts to choose from, as well as fresh juices and coffee. The restaurant also offers weekly cantinas and pre-ordered meals for delivery or pick-up.

As a company we usually order 50 to go empanadas you can bet they are aways crispy, fresh and delicious of course. Staff is extremely attentive. If your looking for Colombian empanadas, you won’t go wrong with this little gem.

Was craving Colombian food when I discovered El Machetico. My boyfriend and I came by around 4 on a weekday. This hole in the wall was relatively packed with customers--some dining in and some taking food to go. We grabbed a menu at the front and skimmed over it. I knew I wanted a Bandeja Paisa $13.99 so we ordered that to share. Being extremely hungry, we made the mistake of ordering other things as well thinking that would not be enough which in fact it was. We also got a pan de bono, empanada, an extra chorizo, and the soup of the day which was lentils. OH MAN! The previous reviews were correct in that all the food here has a home style taste! The bandeja was delicious, an appropriate size, and smoky in flavor---fresh off the grill. The extra chorizo was huge and not really necessary for us to order especially since I didn't realize that the tasty beans that came with the bandeja would be served in a massive soup bowl. The lentils were on point and the arepa perfect. The only thing I did not like while here was their pan de bono and empanada but that was because they had been sitting out all day and not fresh.....understandable since they were closing soon. My boyfriends parents work in the area in which I will definitely be recommending this place for their lunch break and now only wish I worked as close!

This is a humble place where you get very good food at a reasonable price , specialty Colombian food. Their bandeja paisa is great. Have eat here at least 100 times the last few years and always satisfy. The guys working there are top . Kind people. I recommended it. I review restaurants all over the world and not related to this place or the owner(s).

The empanadas we had tasted like they were reheated! Awful.

Bad service buñuelo was cold greezy and didn't even taste like buñuelo

Food is bland, very salty - it just taste like a lot of adobo and thats All, which is weird knowing how colombian traditional food is seasoned with herbs,spices and marinated and to top it all off the beans didnt have any cream -it was basically boiled grains. This is a concern for the owner . I am not able to recommend this place.

I asked for the machetico paisa, the beef was rotten, I told them about it. They took the plate gave me a fresh beef but the base rice beans and plantain still had all the juices from the rotten steak. I wasted 38 on a meal I could only eat the chicharron because it was placed on the top tier of the platter.
