The Fatty Crab

After we arrived back from our cruise in Miami, we wanted some amazing seafood. We got just that from Fatty Crabs. We live in SC so we know what great seafood taste like. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that want great seafood in Miami. Also big shout out to our server Lucas, he was amazing as well. These days it's hard to find great seafood, great price and with great service. However, we received excellent service and great food at Fatty Crabs. If you are in Miami, stop by and check them out. Also they play a variety of music. Something for everyone. Thank you Fatty Crabs for a great ending to our vacation.

The manager Richard also went above and beyond, providing service that was not only professional but truly pleasant and welcoming. We came in as a large group of about 24 people, and to our surprise, everything ran so smoothly. Our food came out quickly, piping hot, and every single dish was delicious. It’s not easy to handle a party of that size, but the staff made it feel effortless. From start to finish, we felt cared for and appreciated. The food, the service, and the overall atmosphere were all top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great seafood and even better hospitality.

The food was really good. It came out fast. The prices are very reasonable. I worked definitely say go. We went at 12:30 got in with no wait. They had a live DJ. Was loud but NOT to the point that you couldn’t hear.

I’ve been to this fatty crab almost 5 times and this was the first time that I have heard of Richard. Let me tell you, Richard deserves a race. He is super funny. Makes the atmosphere so much more fun. The music is amazing. Good job to the DJ. The way that Richard introduced. The crew was phenomenal. I wish I would’ve had stayed to see him sing but Richard keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing phenomenal again love the fact that you had me laughing with the things that you were saying. definitely check it out. The seafood boil is always on point.

The atmosphere and the servers were absolutely a vibe. Especially Richard and Micky, they were so friendly and funny. Definitely brings the party to any room they enter. They made us feel so welcome!! They were constantly making jokes throughout our dining experience. They even played a bday song in Chinese and danced the whole time. I recommend this place to dine for everyone! Definitely get the triple garlic butter sauce for your seafood boil 😍

I came for my birthday and the food was phenomenal and Jessica (our server) really made my night special she helped me choose everything from the drinks to the food choices (I’m indecisive when I’m ready) so that kept me stress free! First time here. Mickey was great. Food was awesome. I would prefer to chose my own tip amount,which would have been more than 18% and just rounded up, but it was done for me. So, I didn’t confuse myself I left it. All in all we would come back.

I've eaten here on 3 different occasions when in Miami pre and post cruise. The food has been delicious, service good, and the atmosphere is great. I placed a to go order this time and once again I was not disappointed. $10 lunch special (Shrimp po boy and fries) was absolutely delicious. I will be returning again on my next visit to Miami

First time here and everything was DELICIOUS! It was my son's birthday and he made the decision to eat Crab boil so we found Fatty Crab on TikTok. I will recommend everyone to this place. Our waiter Vanessa was so kind and attentive, definitely made sure we had everything to have a nice experience and our cups were never empty. The manager Richard also came by and introduced himself which was a wow moment. Usually managers are hidden and don't interact with their customer. We will be coming back!

My friends and I were craving seafood boil after a long flight, and we came to The Fatty Crab as it was the closest to our hotel. We did not imagine we would have such a fun and delicious experience ahead of us. We immediately loved the fun ambiance as soon as we stepped inside and had great service throughout our dining experience. I would highly recommend any of the seafood boil combos with the triple garlic butter sauce and ending your meal with the beignets. Special shout out to Richard and Micky for making our time here even more fun, they truly made this one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had! Thank you for celebrating our friend’s birthday with us, and I will definitely be back if I’m in the Miami area again! ❤️

I had such a great experience at The Fatty Crab in Doral! The food was delicious – super fresh, flavorful, and came out quick. But what really made our visit stand out was the service. I visited on November 11th for their Tuesday all‑you‑can‑eat Cajun menu, and the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was buzzing. The energy from the staff, the music, and the DJ created a lively lounge‑style vibe that instantly set the tone for my sister’s belated birthday celebration. There was a short wait, but it barely mattered. We headed to the bar to order a drink, and before the bartender could even start making it, our table was already ready. That alone told me the night was going to run smoothly. I originally expected a simple Cajun boil, so discovering a full Cajun menu—fried fish, shrimp, wings, and more—was such a pleasant surprise. Everything we tried came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Not a single dish disappointed. What impressed me most was the teamwork. Every staff member seemed to support one another, which made the service fast, warm, and seamless. And then came the moment that truly elevated the entire experience. I asked what I thought was a server, turned out he was the manager, if they offered anything special for birthdays. He politely said no, and I didn’t think twice about it. But a few minutes later, he returned—this time with the team, a dessert, music, and a full celebration for my sister. That thoughtful surprise made her night and left us both smiling long after we walked out. Between the food, the atmosphere, and the exceptional hospitality, this visit delivered everything a foodie hopes for: great flavors, great energy, and a genuine sense of care. We had an amazing time at The Fatty Crab! We were there celebrating a birthday, and the entire experience was incredible. The staff was fantastic, the waiter was the bomb.com and a special shoutout to Richard for making the day even better and The energy in the restaurant was so fun and welcoming. The music, the vibe, and the hype from the staff really made the celebration special. And let me tell you — the food was absolutely delicious! 🤤 Everything was flavorful and came out perfect. It truly made our day, and we will definitely be back. If you’re in Doral and looking for great food and an amazing atmosphere, this is the place to go!

Absolutely everything was amazing!!! Our server Micki was super friendly and gave us great service. Food was DELICIOUS. Tried a couple different appetizers and entrees and it was all to die for. During our meal the manager Richard came by and we spoke with him for a good while. He was so pleasant and friendly. It was clear he appreciates the hard work of all of the staff and takes great pride in making sure that guests have a great experience here. We come to Miami every year and will 100% be back next year!

We took the cajun seafood boil combo no.5 and it was so worth it! The seafood was fresh and tasty, the snow crab legs & lobster tail were sooo meaty. Our only complaint was that the rustic cajun sauce tasted bitter once it started cooling down.
