It don't matter what day of the week you go.You can always find a good vibe...at the glen Plus they got Bomb Micheladas karaoke on Sunday monday and Tuesdays.... Especially when my boy alex is working He knows what I wanna drink... Don't get me wrong All the bartenders are good but my favorite bartender is my boy alex....

Hands down great local bar i checked out. Bartenders were friendly, security was on point, no drama. Pool tables in case you enjoy playing. Restroom was clean and stocked. Definitely going back when i get a chance.Carlos who was my bartender always attended me and friendly guy.

Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing

The beer was delicious cold the service was great. Only complaint is the smell of the place it is horrible. Smells very bad.

I personally enjoyed it. It's more of a local spot. More laid back. It's more of an older crowd maybe ages 30-50. There's no food just beverages. It gets busy but the bartender was great and getting the drinks out quick!

Love my local bar since Mr Glen originally owned it, would sneak in at times back in 1990 when I was a rebel back them and Mr Glen would enjoy our young company and treat us like adults. Hed conversate w us and eventually tell us we werent old enough and lead us our way out. I did and DO have much Love for him to this date, he was battling Cancer and never made it but i warm-heartedly remember his sweet heart and I told him I'd be back here at the right age. I'm way older and still loyal to this bar, Lots of love and respect Mr Glen!!!! As for our newer Glen love the service, its clean, always got my Poison cold and stocked up Modelo Negra, have many returning friends here all the time. My Friend/Bar Manager Carlos and fellow bartenders are Great Glens Employees since The Glen reopened acouple years ago. Their basically Family. I order food @ Stewart & Grub and have them send it to The Glen and I enjoy that restaurants food w my favorite Beverage. They hot great music, Djs, Epic Kareoke nights. My respects

Love the drinks here!!!! The bartender Alex is the best!!! Not only is he friendly but incredibly kind. My friend was incredibly wasted and they were okay with the car being left there and made sure it was watched over. Would give a better rating if possible.

Great atmosphere and the people that have been going there for years are really welcoming. I had a awesome time playing pool. The bartenders work hard to serve you. The prices are reasonable. The parking sucks there is no parking.

Super fun and lively on the weekends, very friendly and chill on the weekdays. Bartenders are super perky and very attractive. They wouldn't let me in one time with a plain white t-shirt even though it was a fitted v neck, lol so I put on my jacket. I guess there dress code is meant to keep out the the thugs.

Popped in for a bit and I had a good time. Two pool tables and a chill atmosphere. No food served here but there’s is a Burger place a few doors down that will bring you order to you.

Service was good. But the bartenders were kinda mean, but in a I'm cool type of guy. Maybe they just didn't like me? I was the DD after all and only had 2 beers for the 2 hours I was there. Not sure if some people like that kind of attitude but I sure didn't.

First time there after living in Downey for a long time, but overall the place is to small for pool table and karaoke all at once. Restroom were flirty and no attention at all although I'd won't revisit again.Just saying.

I use to go stop by before COVID and I loved it but after COVID the people they let in there are very disrespectful and all over the place drunks. Men are always ready to fight once they get drunk and the ladies will give you a full show while they dance and get naked. Can't even enjoy a beer without someone trying to cause an altercation. But hey if that's your type of thing go ahead and be ready to fight or see women get drunk and naked.

Ive been going to The Glen for about 5 years. I just left there at 9:50 pm and apparently "cut off" due to the bartender Jeanette's friends having an issue with me. It was apparently Jeanette's bday and even though it was her taking about 7 shots behind the bar in the short time I was there, they proceeded to "cut me off" after I ordered 2 Palomas which both ended up watered down as I didn't even finish. Im a local and been coming here for so long, have had great nights and have never ever been treated this way. I guess you have to be the bartenders friend and her friends need to like you in order to be treated with respect. I probably won't come here for a very long time and definitely not when this staff is on. Good luck to this place

I had a very disappointing experience at this lounge. I came to enjoy the night like everyone else, but the DJ clearly took issue with me because I wasn’t enjoying her music. I wasn’t being disruptive or disrespectful — I simply wasn’t vibing with the set. From what I could see, I wasn’t the only one who wasn’t feeling the music either. Instead of handling things professionally, the situation escalated for no reason. The manager ended up asking me to leave, even though I had done absolutely nothing wrong. I wasn’t causing a scene, bothering anyone, or breaking any rules. It felt personal and unnecessary. Guests should be able to enjoy (or not enjoy) music without being targeted or removed. Unfortunately, this experience left a bad impression, and I won’t be returning.
