My boyfriend and I come by every night after 11 for breakfast and we are always that one annoying online order (I apologize, I know) and ever since they got Brandon working the night shifts with his crew there the line has gone faster, our taquitos have got fatter, and our out honey butter chicken biscuits have gotten more love! Please give this man a raise and the rest of the night crew as well! Best service, always got a smile on his face, and I’m really loving the food.

The Waterburger in Dripping Springs is fabulous!! Always hot food and busy, busy!! Makes me feel good when there is that much turnover. The drive thru is packed!! We place our order on the app while in parking lot and usually get faster than some in drive thru. We have only had one mistake in 5 visits and it was in our favor...we accidentally were given large shakes instead of mediums and not charged. Yummy!!

Great fries and shakes served by folks who like to work there. This is a reliably good spot for a quick bite. The drive though is also very quick, so bring the carload of kiddies, order up and drive away - almost that fast.

It's Whataburger, do I really need to say more? A little longer wait than some other fast food places but that's because they prepare it AFTER you order. Great burgers, fries, onion rings, shakes, biscuits, chicken strips, cinnamon rolls, etc. It's all good! This location hasn't screwed up any orders yet. I don't even check my bag before rolling away. Keep up the good work Whatabuddies!

I don’t post reviews often but I wanted to commend this whataburger for how well it’s run. The burgers are always exemplary and staff friendly in my experience. Compared to other locations the burgers here are made how they’re supposed to be, generous sauce, not misaligned nor dry. Just couldn’t be happier with this location

I apologize because I don't remember his name, but he's there almost every time I go here. I think it might be Seth, and he is the store manager. He is over the top with customer service. Whataburger is whataburger, but he makes this whataburger stand out in a very good way!

Hard meh. A staple food of my Texan people but quality has dropped...that point made. The dude at the counter was awesome and friendly. He treated me like a queen and got my my large fries made frest. It was also a great location for the the establishment as it just so happened to be in the direction I was headed that day.

We went through the drive thru and the line was not long so I can't comment on atmosphere since we didn't go inside. Got our order in a timely manner and no mistakes. Enjoyed our dinner.

The best Whataburger around. They have managed to keep a good crew of folks around for a long time, which means service at this Whataburger is typically great. Sometimes when busy things do get messed up, but otherwise the actual food delivered has always been great.

Everytime I visit, always welcomed with a smile. The food is a little bit of a wait but it's so worth it. Order comes out just right, or maybe it comes out way better than I expect. The lobby is clean and the bathrooms are the same. Each experience is always a good memory.

They made us 9 boxes of 10 burgers without cheese with the fixings on the side because they had that option. We could've also chose all assembled with cheese and fries, if we wanted. Everything was perfect. Pickup was on time. Boxes had plastic tongs and knives for the tomatoes, pickles, onions, tomatoes, onions, mustard, mayo, and ketchup. They were ready on time. They loaded in the car for us, and the food was warm and fresh when served 10 min. away. It was great for the kids to put the topping on the way they wanted. They coordinated everything in advance and we couldn't have been happier than we are now. Whataburger earned 5 out of 5 stars and we didn't even break a sweat. The are truly professional and produced excellent quality. We hoped for that and wasn't disappointed in any way.

I don't typically stop at Whataburger because the one in Kyle where we live the lines are long and move slow. I went today in Dripping because the line wasn't horrible. There was still a wait but not horrible. The customer service at this location was top notch, and that is always going to beat out many other qualities for me. I'll return simply for their smiles and kind tones.

It was very pleasant considering the cat that took me to dine there didn't really seem to enjoy my company. Lol The employee guy was super cool. Gave that ungrateful Cat that I accompanied a FREE scoop of ice cream for his rootbeer float, as he prepared it at self-serve fountain machines🙂 W H A T A >>>B U R G E R!!!😄 Although I do believe this establishment should give more free Burger coupons considering they get so much darn business. I don't normally review fast food places because one time they are good and next time they are bad. But I have to comment on an employee here. His name is Rye. And he has been the nicest, most courteous employee I have come across. He is smart and 'on the ball' and makes our visits very pleasant.

The Whataburger in Dripping Springs is hands down the best Whataburger I’ve ever had. The fries are always perfectly salted, and the burgers are consistently prepared exactly as ordered. While it’s a bit pricier than some fast food options, the quality and consistency make it worth every penny. In my opinion, this is the best fast food burger in Central Texas. They truly know what they’re doing, and it’s always an awesome experience!

They were out of ketchup packets today. They only had spicy and I’m a regular kinda guy. I asked for a ranch and was willing to pay for it and they gave it to me for free! The manager came to offer ketchup too and I told her I wanted regular. She said I’ll be back. She got me a styrofoam cup with a lid full of production line regular ketchup! I was floored! We've been coming to this Whataburger since they opened, and they are the best! We especially love seeing Rye there. Rye keeps the atmosphere super friendly and welcoming. He's always going above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Looking forward to future visits!

We were in town visiting friends after a long day out at an event all day Saturday and we were all longing for some juicy whataburger. We had a party of 6 so went inside to order expecting it to take a while and not hold up the line. The lady at the counter who helped us i think Her name was Lucinda/Lucy was ver attentive to our order, didn’t make us feel like we were taking up her time and i say That because we frequent WB here in dallas and never experience A1 service like we did this particular evening. I hate To say i was Expecting at least someone’s order in our party to be wrong but everything was exactly to order! We didn’t wait any longer than I’d expect for an order our size and to our surprise they even packed our large order in a big WB travel bag, Loaded with napkins and ketchup without having to ask for more than two! I have To say we were all very impressed with our experience at this location. I’m not a big reviewer but this one deserves recognition for their ability to check all the boxes of doing things right. Kudos to employees that still value giving a good customer experience! It can be a rare thing to find these days.

I hate to say it but I’ve lost my thrill for Whataburger after they sold the company. The taste and flavors are not the same. Buuuuuutttt, my kids still love it and so I go there to feed them. My kids are picky eaters. Like they want it their way picky. And as always the employees get it right most of the time. The food is good, just wish it was the same.

After getting home from the Whataburger in Dripping Springs my father thought he lost his money when he got out of the car to get his money out of his back pocket. We called the store and asked them to see if was laying in the drive through lane. They didn’t find it but told me they would look at the security cameras. One minute later Dad found it in his front pocket.😀 I called the store back and thanked them for their help. They went way above saying we didn’t find it. We went inside because the drive-thru lane was packed and I am glad we did. There is a young man working at this location named Rye. While we were there, he cleaned tables, carried orders to the tables and waiting cars and thanked people for coming when they left. And he did it all in double time with a big smile. He should get a customer service award.

Had the best curbside service. I made my online order in the parking lot. Then made my way to number one online order curbside pickup. Before my order was done they brought me out my soda. Within minutes my order came out fresh and hot. The sweet and spicy burger is phenomenal. Something about sweet and spicy. As I ate my food in the parking spot, a manager came outside and asked if everything was okay. Then asked if my passenger (my dog) would like an ice cream. That was the selling point for me. This Whataburger did an outstanding job today, and deserves some good credit.

This Whataburger was very clean and very efficient. I need to order my French fries without salt and they were very kind and made sure that my fries were done quickly and separately from all the other fries. The food was fresh and well prepared which is usual for Whataburger. The staff was kind and very friendly. It's right next to an HEB so a great place to grab something to eat before or after shopping

I’ve been to quite a few Whataburgers throughout our great state. Hands down though this has to be the best location I’ve been to. I’m having the pleasure of working in this nice town for a few weeks and I’ve been coming here almost everyday. The first time I thought maybe they were just on top of everything that one day. I was wrong. I’ve come for at least 7 times throughout the past weeks and every single time customer service was on point and my order was always correct and fresh. Great job! Once the project is over and I’m not so close I’m not sure how often I’d come back but this location definitely is leaving a lasting impression. 👏🏻

They are super nice at this Whataburger! Haven’t had Whataburger since I lived in FL, then ran into them here on vacation with the wifey in Austin, so had to get lunch. Really nice folks behind the counter and it’s pretty good fast food. They even come out with our food and offer us a tray of condiments like some condiment concierge, pretty cool! This is one of the local hangouts of Dripping. You'll see teens and families pile in after a game and old timers come in for breakfast and coffee. One of the managers is a very kind lady who goes form table to table and asks if you need anything, cleans up as she goes, gets you refills, and stops to chat with people. She always makes you feel welcome. The staff are all kind as well but she tops all. For some reason though, I'll get a wrong order or they'll forget straws and napkins in the drive thru. On two occasions I had to ask for something a few times and still didn't get it. My tea will be wrong, a burger will be missing some things or they'll forget to take things off even though it was repeated correctly in the speaker. Overall though, everyone is kind here and it's pretty clean. I've never had cold food at least.

Great people work here! They are very considerate and helpful. You don't often find that in a burger joint! My only complaint is the amount of time it takes to get your food sometimes. I know it's prepared fresh, but some days it's even longer.

Great customer service and the biscuits and gravy were good. Coffee was very tasty. Only thing that wasn't great was the manager who ran me and my husband service dog off because we were waiting out front for a friend to pick us up. We had our stuff in a HEB shopping cart because we had just left the store and we didn't have vehicle due to it being stolen. Very disappointing especially since we had just spent money there.

Spicy chicken sandwich!!! I love whataburger and the one in Dripping springs is well run. Unfortunately it's always busy so download the app and order ahead. They could definitely benefit from a double lane drive thru like that other chicken only place that moves volumes thru their drive thru. My only suggestion would be that the dinning room could benefit from more regular cleaning.

Drive through is always super slow, you can be here for 15 minutes. Orders have gotten mixed up several times, usually a confusion over onion rings and fries. But at least we have a town Whataburge…

Don't ever use any problems with my order. But this time. I ordered the triple meat Burger one of the three hamburger patties was not fully cooked had to remove it just so I can enjoy the rest of my meal and no time to go back.

Ordered chicken tenders. With extra gravy. Got home and the gravy was like water, didn't even stick to the chicken. I called to let them know and the guy gave me his name and said he would replace the whole meal next time I was there ( I couldn't go back today) so we will see if he honors it when I go back.

There is just something different about Whataburger, it's just the not same, taste not as good, quality not to the higher standards. And I always praise Whataburger, however recently, not as much. Please bring back the Whataburger we Texans have always loved.

This is the second time that I've eaten here where the meat was not hot enough to melt the cheese. It was warm, but not near hot. Getting really disappointed in Whataburger. Service is excellent, though, the folks at this store are super nice. The food is only mediocre, though. How hard is it to get the patty hot???

This could be a great place. The only true problem is that they don't make use of their second lane for the people ahead in line that have large orders. We waited 3 cars behind the window for 10 MINUTES just for a malt. (I would like to say this was rare, but it is common. Also, this was at 10:30 pm. on a Thursday.) On a positive note: The evening staff are always friendly and have great attitudes!

The double Whataburger was BIG...you have all the options,sauces and bun/no bun choices you could want...the spicy chicken sandwich was really good it was also big...sonportion sizes are great. I'm from California and I will say do not make comparisons to In n out ..I like both, it really depends on what you're craving at the time. If there is one thing I would knock this location for would be service...I ordered curbside pickup and checked in as the directions indicated...and according to the app..my food should've been ready at 8:41 latest...I had to go into the establishment at 9:05 and they were still figuring out if they had the right items in the bag...when I got my bag...of course the first thing I check are the fries....yep they were cold 🥶! Something like that throws everything off...just a heads up for everyone else, don't wait as long as I did if you're getting curbside service

Kids (employees) standing around the front talking. Everyone was nice enough. Lacking on general customer service like saying hello. The whatawings tasted like they had been sitting for hours. The Nashville hot was not hot at all, and they didn't have bleu cheese for dipping.

3 stars because it is only place open 24 hours, definitely best to go through drive thru. Inside orders usually take a while, and for some reason, every time I go here, they either forget my shake or give me the wrong flavor. Even if I go with others and they get shakes too, they get theirs soon and correct, but never me. Though everything has improved recently.

This is my local whataburger and I go here all the time. Normally it is clean, the food tastes and good as it gets, and the people are friendly enough. The one thing that brings it down is the wait times. During the daytime hours they aren’t too bad, but I like to go after I get off of work (11pm) and at that time it consistently takes 30m-hour to get through the drive through. This may be unfortunate timing because thats when they start serving breakfast and close the cafe, but I wish they were more prepared for it.

90% of time they will mess up your order 100% of the time. They don’t listen to your order or something. I’m not really sure what’s going on, but they’re not very capable over there. And they charge wing prices for little chicken poppers. If you plan on getting a nine piece Keep in mind it’s a child size.

Was in Texas so i had to try the infamous Whataburger. Apparently this was my 2nd time trying it because the 1st time was so unmemorable. I'm not surprised I don't remember because this visit was nothing very special. The place was clean and the staff was great. The nice gentleman brought the food to the table along with napkins and sauces etc... But the burger itself wasn't anything amazing. It was well built as far as presentation goes but the patty was super dry and the burger only tasted like mustard. Not the best burger experience. I was told by my GF that when we return to Texas I will NOT be having Whataburger again because it's twice I didn't like it. It's not for me. I'm a SoCal In n out burger guy.

Food it good but they take FOREVER, even in the drive thru and at all times of day. Slowest fast food place I have ever been that has stayed consistently slow

Biggest issue was the loud, foul-mouthed manager and crew. They were sitting around in the dining room yacking while one employee was cleaning tables and taking out trash all by herself and there was a young man in the back also working. This young lady even took the time to wish us a nice evening as we were leaving. Thank you Jazmine for being so pleasant, I hope you can find a different place to work, you deserve better.

I'm as loyal as you can be when it comes to Whataburger but I keep getting cold burgers. I did speak to the manager and she was very gracious, she apologized and offered a free meal when I return. Will I return? Of course I will, it's Whataburger! ☆☆☆☆☆ I said I'd return to Whataburger and of course I did, I can't stop myself! And I'm glad because I just had the best cheeseburger I've tasted in recent memory. It was hot, juicy, the cheese was fully melted and the bun was super fresh! My fries were hot and crispy just the way I love 'em! Thank you Rachel for a fantastic burger!

I go to this Whataburger quite a bit as of recently due to my opening shifts, and ive been getting the breakfast on a bun and a large hot coffee with sweet cream and flavor. However, just today, I recieved my order and was running late, so I didnt have time to check it, and I was given a spicy sausage on a spicy biscuit instead and a large black coffee. The problem? I HATE spicy foods, and I cant stand black coffee, its too strong for me. The female employee whose always helped me before is amazing, she was always cheerful and awesome, but had the day off today and so it was another female employee who was assisting, and she kept talking to this older gentleman which contributed to this horrible mistake, since she was distracted. Needless to say, im incredibly upset by this mix up, and I hope you can get more employees who wont give people incorrect orders

Every time I go there, which is not very often, they always seem to screw up the order putting cheese on it when I asked him that they put no cheese, onion rings instead of fries they give me fries, they forget my ketchup, they forget to put napkins in there. This establishment is so jacked up. I wish that they had The Dairy Queen right across the street and it would’ve been a much easier because these under trained don’t give a care staff can get it straight.

What a disappointment. This is what $7 breakfast gets you. The bacon is what amounts to 1 strip, torn into 2. The eggs had an insane amount of salt on them. I like salt also, even more than most folks. This was like an accidental spill level of salt that they decided to go ahead and send out. Puckering. Of course the biscuit couldn't be decent also, barely above room temperature and with hard edges. I will say the side of gravy was good at least and helped the biscuit out. I just ordered the plate so no hash browns or coffee thankfully. Thinking about it, I guess there was a reason the line was empty at 7:15am.

Whataburger definitely sliding downhill. The place was dirty and staff don't seem to care. Saw worker drop cups on floor (to join others already there) pick them up, and put them back on the sleeve to use. The cashier/server waited until all 6 peoples orders were taken to bring our food that was sitting getting cold. Burger was good. Fries were not.

Ordered gravy with chicken strips. It was just water with a little color, when I asked why, I was told by manager that was all they had right now and it would be 10 more minutes before it could be made. Customer standing next to me saw the "gravy" and said she just ordered extra gravy but she wasn't accepting that either. Manager wasn't apologetic and said if I wanted to wait I could. I declined. Is this what customers are to expect now that Whataburger has been bought out? Very disappointed.

When you ask a food joint why people who ordered after you got their food first, the expected answer is not "Oh, we go out of order." Waiting over forty-five minutes for "fast food" is definitely not the highlight of a road trip. In fact, this pit stop screwed with a tight schedule and put my group behind. Perhaps the icing on the cake was the response to the question DID MY ORDER GET MISSED. The employee said, "We deleted that." We can blame Chicago taking over all day long, but that doesn't change the fact this location needs to get it together. Do better. You are a Texas Treasure for the love of God.

The guy at the front didn’t want to take my order. He rolled his eyes the whole time as I was trying to order my food and then I asked for a medium cup, because he forgot to give me one and he made a noise and rolled his eyes and slammed it on the table. After I got my cup I went to get some ice, and there was no ice so I asked him if he could refill it and he told me I’m gonna have to wait. He said he will do it later, and rolled his eyes and left. Never refilled the ice I stood there for 10 minute, and he told me just to leave.

These people need to get their act together for the curbside option thru the app! Over a 30 minute wait for food when ordered via the app!??? Not to mention multiple items missing from the order!! The worst ever. This has happened MULTIPLE times at this location...not sure why I give them so many chances. Management needs to step-up.The ball is being dropped too many times!

Have been going to this location for years but recently have been less than satisfied and getting sick and tired of my order being wrong. This is my third time coming here and they are too slow, they spend their time talking and they don't serve the staff, when you ask, what happened with my order, they tell you that you have to wait and 20 minutes or 30 minutes go by and your order still hasn't come out.

Saw at least four people preparing burgers with no gloves / improper hand washing. Huge issue for me with all the food recalls going around. I know it's not that difficult as I used to work in the fast food industry. Don't think I will be coming back to this one.

Ordered 2 patty melts with the exact same toppings and two large fries, pulled up like they asked me too, ended up waiting like 20 minutes because "I'm sorry, I totally forgot about you", tried to take the L and left. Checked my fries, of course they were slimey and cold because they'd been sitting out for 20 minutes, pulled back into the drive through, asked for some new fries, manager brought out 1 small fries but I decided this was as good as it was going to get so I left. Got home, checked the bags to find only 1 patty melt and one plain burger. WHAT. THE. FEKK. So many changes to make this right and every one of them bungled. THEY WEREN'T EVEN BUSY!!

I have no idea why Texans like this place. It’s the only thing they are completely wrong about. I’d rather pop the top on some wet dog food. It’s always the only place to eat late. Just go hungry. Nothing is worth eating or drinking. Hospital food laughs at how bad this place is.

I ordered a BLT at the Dripping Springs Whataburger. I ordered it at the drive in window, since I was taking it home to eat. I live in Johnson City about 20 miles away. When I bit in to the sandwich, a slice of bacon came out, and it was raw. I called and asked to speak to the manager, and a female that answered the phone told me she was "one" of the managers. I told her my problem with the sandwich, that the bacon was raw, and she said that could not be true because their bacon comes precooked, basically calling me a liar. I grew up in Corpus Christi, where Whataburger started in business. You could always count on an excellent sandwich then. I heard it was bought out, and sad to say, they made some terrible changes in their food and employee attitude. I don't think I'll be going back to Whataburger.

Got into the line and there was only one car in front of us. The employee was chatting with them while they were waiting for their food and when they got the bag we thought they would move but they didn't so we gave the benefit of the doubt and thought they had another bag. Nope. The person and the employee kept chatting while we waited for 10 MINUTES because they couldn't stop talking. Finally got our food for it to be room temp and the fries really soggy meaning it had just been sitting there while they were catching up. If you want to talk to your friends tell them to come inside so people don't have to wait 2-3 times as long for their damn food. So unprofessional and rude honestly. Put a very bad taste in my mouth.

Waited on order for 25 minutes. I was sitting at the front counter for 15 until they finally walked out and took my order. Whole dining room and restaurant was dirty.

We waited 21 minutes to get to the window. There were three cars in front of us. We got our drink, then 4 minutes later, our order. One of the two sandwiches were missing so we backed up. They served the second one 4 minutes later. BOTH were ice cold. The veggies sitting on cold buns and meat made for a literally cold burgers. They also put at least two table spoons of mustard on one of them. They kept apologizing but continued to deliver bad food and poor service. I will never go there again.

Terrible, apathetic management Sat at drive thru speaker for 35 minutes without a word and huge line behind me. Looked empty ahead, pulled up to leave. Trapped behind a car sitting in each lane for 15 more minutes. By the time I got out everything other than whataburger was closed. Zero communication after sitting in drive thru for an hour at a time when they were obviously open. Been coming here over a decade and this kind of thing never happened until this year.

I ordered on the app and waited in the stall 20 min after it said it would be done. Walk in and ask the lady and she walks over to it. And give its to me. Like how long was it just sitting there. I work next door and every time I come here it's poor service. The lady didn't even apologize. Very sad that yall let people work there with no customer service.

The staff was very friendly at lunchtime, but the line outside was literally out of the parking lot, and the line inside was almost out the door. The trainee taking my order needed help from her manager multiple times, and still forgot to give me the cup for my drink. She also technically overcharged me, since I had a "reward" which should have covered the cost of the small milkshake. The food was good, the manager was nice, and the restaurant itself was relatively clean. EDIT: Removed a star because they are CONSISTENTLY late delivering curbside. I order lunch here once or twice a week and regularly have to wait over 15mins despite being given a time to arrive by the app. 2nd EDIT: Removed another star after waiting almost half an hour after my scheduled time - only to receive COLD FOOD. This location must only remain in business because of their brand name, because it certainly isn't due to the "service" here!

Drove 30 minute to pick up my order from this place for my workers at the jobsite and complete, i mean completely incorrect. how do you not know how to pull an order from a list. i received 3 drinks i didn't order, Breakfast on the buns that were all incorrect. Called talk to the manager and i understood why there incompetence of the staff after speaking with her. 30min drive for this. how hard can it be to pull what people pay for.

When I walked in there was no employee at the counter so I waited. My order was on time, however it had stains of mustard (I’m allergic to mustard and didn’t ask for mustard). There was an excessive amount of raw onions(I didn’t order any onions) When I was given my food there was no ketchup in the bag or offered so I went back up to the counter where there was no employee and I was the only customer in line. While I was waiting another customer walked in. An employee from the backed finally acknowledged our presence after 5 minutes of us standing there. A different employee came up to the counter, saw me clearly standing in front and proceeded to help the customer behind me instead of me. So I stopped him and asked him for ketchup. He gave it to me and said “you’ve been helped already haven’t you” Regardless of whether I received my food or not, I wasn’t offered ketchup and I was first in line! Aside from my service, I sat down and the couple sitting next to me were delivered their food and the employee walked away. The customer tried to get her attention but I guess she didn’t hear, so the lady went up to the counter and had to wait at an empty counter. The employee that brought her the food finally came out and the customer let her know she didn’t offer her any ketchup and the employee made eyes at her like she was being an inconvenience. The service today was inconsiderate and rude!

The first time I placed an online order at this location is was a horrible experience. I waited my entire lunch break despite being less than 3 minutes away from the location and waiting and extra 10 minutes before arriving so they could have prep time. It was still late. Today, I decided after a couple months of not visiting to place another online order, and instead utilize curbside rather than online pickup. The app said my order would be ready withing 5 to 8 minutes, and I arrived promptly at 5:18 pm. After waiting 18 minutes, I finally got out of my vehicle and went indoors to ask for my order, only find that it was at the very back of the order table ready to go and finished at 5:14. The curbside runner deliberately delayed my order and had the nerve to give me a disrespectful glance for getting out of my vehicle. I opened my bag to discover the fries were tossed upside down and strewn throughout the bag. Having a background in customer service excellence for over a decade at one of the most prestigious companies in the state, I know what a exceptional service looks and feels like, and this establishment has failed to show that not once, but twice when it comes to online customers. This location has and always will prioritize the drive thru and in store customer more than they ever will the people who are proactive and plan their meal time for whatever the reason is.

I stood at The front counter, they turned around, looked at me and then looked away and continued playing on their phones I gave up and left without a meal. No one seem to care. What a letdown! We’ve been coming here for 15 years with my family of four boys. The buns were paper, thin, and stale. There were no paper products or napkins before were slippery and dangerous and the food order was messed up. There is no energy in the restaurant. What happened to our favorite hamburger joint and dripping springs Let me know when you guys get it fixed so we can come back and give you a five star review
