It's a great place to eat something, it's my favorite place in Eagle Pass, I would definitely recommend this place to grab a bite, I usually order the sandwich meal, and it's great. Recently, they did some remodeling, and now the place looks a little minimalist in the inside, outside it was a little confusing, I thought they had closed and a new business was in place.
Minus 1 star for the spoiled coleslaw... sad we did see it till we got home to our kids. Everything else was delicious as always.

Tasty chicken. Good for the taste buds, bit not for the lonja. It's chicken, it's fried, it's tasty, and inexpensive. There is access to is on the sides feom both main streets, however it would be great if it could be access via de DQ or Panda Express.
I actually like the fact that they play the Cajun music that goes with this place. Unlike other places, say the Chinese restaurant playing Spanish or English music. And the chicken isn't bad either.

Can't go wrong with popeyes. The drive through stand by needs to be marked. You order and pay and they tell you to drive forward and pretty much get lost along with other cars waiting, our food took longer because the lady didn't know which car was which.

I really like this place, but last time we visit, the food that was giving to me was the one sitting under the light a little to long. Fries were a little stale, but still really well season. But overall everything was good, pricey but good. 3.75 overall
Drive-thru at Popeyes is pretty quick, and the young staff members are pretty attentive. Can't say much about the atmosphere inside, but the one at the drive-thru window was very friendly. P.S. Fried chicken prices have definitely gone up.
It had been over 8 years since the last time I tried it, I took my son for the 1st time and and unfortunately had a not so good impression. It took over 10 minutes for the lady to take my order. 3 girls were in the kitchen and every once in a while 1 would look at me and yelled, i'll be there to take your order, it happen for over 10 minutes. I was getting frustrated but keep it cool. The order was ok, the tenders were a bit cold but by that time, I was too hungry. 4/5 stars, improvement can be made.

Person at drive Thur told me to pull in the front and they will bring my order out to me so I did girl walk out and looks for me and I am not were she wanted me to be so went back inside came out again and look for me not there so walk back inside and said I left when she told me to park in the front... 15 mins later I get my food
Came for my lunch hour.. took forever to take our order ended up taking food to go .. attendant by the nickname "mouse" was very attentive.. made the experience tolerable..
If you like your food with a lot of grease and well somewhat best chicken with less meat and more bone than that is the right place for you. Enjoy your food.
Food was GREAT, service not so much. No straws for our drinks, we travel to eagle pass for work and need to eat complete meals on the go. We had no plastic wear, 1 napkin, 1 ketchup. No smiles no courtesy. Will not be returning 😔
With the we are going through ( the US ) they are trying to keep the same price range but seems the amount of serving size has taken a toll. Very good customer service and friendly. Did not fill me at all with a up size order.
The place was clean and the customer service was somewhat ok. But when they forget to bring you the rest of your food! That's where things change. I had also bought some desert, they told me it would take about 5 minutes. We finished our food within 20. As we were leaving, I went to the register and asked the young lady about the dessert that I bought. She was clueless about it.
We all know Popeyes chicken is delicious. Same goes with this location. I had one person in line in front of me and the drive thru was not busy. There was also plenty staff when I was there. Tons of chicken sitting ready to be boxed. That’s why I was disappointed when it took me 25 minutes for me to get my food when others were getting their food before me. Staff needs better leadership.

Everything buy the fries were cold. Could not understand the person who took my order, and to top it all off I was initially given a dirty cup. Definitely will not be coming back.
Took about 25 minutes to get our dine in order; one employee was putting chairs back where they belonged all while making a very loud noise while dragging the chairs not being cognizant of the dine in customers; last, we ordered spicy chicken. It was warm to cold and not spicy at all. Very disappointing experience.
Cold food that should be hot. Noone at the register to order for quite sometime. When he did show ip he had his phone and ear budd in. A zombie at that. Like a lifeless dead corpse. Unfriendly. This place has people that don’t listen to what you want to order, they just put whatever they want to get a faster order done, if you say you want TENDERS you they put regular chicken

Spicy Chicken takes forever if you go Drive Thru!! Waited almost half an hour, why don't they have some ready like the reg chicken
It says open from at 11am through drive thru and there was a lot of customers waiting and they never opened. I went twice at 11 and 12pm and nothing. This was on Saturday January 22, 2022
Staff was NOT ready for the lunch hour. Biscuits were not baked, line was not being controlled, customers not being served. Waited over 20 minutes for my order.
Horrible service. They take about half an hour to get a meal or when there's no one there. Manager needs to learn about customer skills.
Super bad service was in line no kidding about five poeple complianing that oders were wrong then they forgot to give us gravy all that eist for nothing will not be going back

I do not recommend this place. They always take more than thirty minutes per order and their system is always failing. The staff is not helpful, and always give you an attitude.
I've tried eating here about 4 times. I've called in ordered online and attempted to eat inside and have had to wait at least 30 min each time and most of the time they dont have the complete order. Longest I waited was one hour and still had to go back because they got the order wrong. Never eat here.
Be carefull! Were having problems w their cash reg. Swipped my card twice and showed up as charged twice ,spoke w frank store manager once ..and after that he never returned my callls nor answered my email ..had to file claim on them thru my bank.. so people beware!!! Pay cash ..

If I could rate it one star I would. Terrible customer service. The girls don’t know how to talk, and pretend they can’t hear you on the drive-hour towards closing. I literally sat here for five minutes trying to order an order of wings. Couldn’t even do that. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️

Definitely need to bump up their cleaning, not only in the seating area, but in the only bathroom they have available for customers. It does not even have hand soap!!!!
Ants running all over the counter where you make your orders. Also on the table. Very unsanitary. The attendant did not respond when we told her about the ants. Bathroom unclean. Papers on the floor. No sanitary toilet covers. Very disappointed with popeyes.
Have no customer service skills, funny how they sell spicey chicken, yet the cashier didn't know what Tabasco sauce was and dining area was dirty. Will not visit again.

Ordered chicken 10 piece told me will be ready in 10 minutes, wrong waited 30 minutes before going to counter and asking about my order then they told me around other 15 to 20 minutes since the cook was slow. Request my refund plus other individual also got his money back since he was there for over 45 minutes. Very bad service would not recommend ever.
WORST customer service ever!!! Ordered 6pc. Ghost pepper wing combo I was told my order would take 7 minutes so I paid for my order in my car .. 25 minutes later and my order was no where to be found ... they were working on it, I was workers were completely clueless when I asked how much longer my order was going to take .. at this point I canceled my order .. shift manager was zero help.. didn't even acknowledge the problem.. just gave my money and kept it moving... great food... horrible...horrible customer service... you need to hire people that actually want to work.. do better popeyes... train your staff correctly...
The service is always slow even though plenty of times the restaurant is empty. The staff also lacks soft-skills. M I tried ordering a side of gravy but was told that gravy has been discontinued. Which is absolutely ridiculous that a restaurant that’s main focus is fried chicken does not sell gravy.
Hate to say it but very poor service just got my order through drive thru asked me to park on parking lot and window guy who is taking orders and charging handling money is also preparing orders with dirty hands rubbing his nose touching the food and waited about 20 min for food when food was ready right after i moved to parking lot. Cars behind me leaving with their orders . Last time I visit this Eagle Pass location. Very unsatisfied
The place didn't have ac, we asked them if they could open the doors so air could flow thru and they did nothing about it. It was cooler outside than inside the place. No warning if you wanted to eat inside that the AC wasn't working. Very unprofessiona Food wasn't any good either. Very disappointed I had other expectations of this place
They have the slowest drive thru ever. I made an online order on the app. It gave me the option to pick up drive thru. There was only 2 cars ahead and took 25 minutes to get my order.
I’m not in the habit of leaving bad reviews, especially being a food service provider myself. I get it, stuff happens! But I’ve recently gone on 3 esperare occasions all at different times during the day to try and order their Sampler Box but have been turned away because they don’t have the shrimp. I can’t imagine that they don’t make enough, or ask me to wait however long it takes to make them since I’ve gone early enough. Or maybe it’s a stock issue? Idk.... and I don’t really care, seems to be bad management to me. Super disappointing!
The advertising sign and menu sign are most of the time off. Making you think is closed. Service takes too long from the ordering side to the acquiring of food. Service is not good. I love the chicken but someone needs to take care of that business or will loose all customers.
I’m usually a regular at Popeyes. And honestly today this restaurant disappointed me real bad due to the lack of costumer service from an specific individual. Order #20054 and #20053 Cashier name: Crystal She doesn’t have the manners when a costumer approaches her. Always have to repeat her our orders. Her facial expressions says it all. If you’re gonna work for costumer service. Greeting people it’s the main priority as a cashier or whoever is at the counter . Not sure who’s the manager on this restaurant, but someone needs to talk to this individual.
Ordered. Was told to pull over and wait for my food. Saw about 5 people get there food before I went in and asked about my food. They said tenders were just coming out. For a place that sells fried chicken and tenders keep them on hand.
They close at 10, I ate around 930. Biscuit was hard and burnt, fries were cold and nasty. No honey or hot sauce out front. Food not consistent. I should get same quality regardless of time. I'll try panda Express or Burger King next time.
They don’t do their job right, we ordered 2 pop shrimp nd only received 1. Btw wasn’t doordash because we ordered 2 times and they were diff people the restaurant didn’t give them 2 shrimps. Plus the people said that they were mean
So the counter worker was rude from the beginning. She then proceeded to clean eye junk out of her eyes and continue to assemble orders (fries, sandwiches and biscuits) WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS OR PUTTING ON GLOVES. I had placed my order and was waiting while two cars went through the drive thru and had their orders filled first. I was standing at the counter waiting for my food in plain sight of all the employees but had to repeat my order twice more to other employees before they even began to fill my order. When I tried to fill my soda glass the valve came off in my glass and sprayed soda syrup all over the floor, the counter, and myself. Yay....Crappy service, the food was barely warm and the one employees was disgusting beyond belief. Never visiting that Popeyes again. Waited for my food in an EMPTY restaurant. It was gross to watch. Thank goodness a different employee actually filled my order.
I had a terrible experience and terrible food at this Popeyes. I wish I could give them 0 stars because they don’t even deserve 1. Food wasn’t fresh even though I had to wait in line . The chicken didn’t taste like how Popeyes normally would taste . I feel like they didn’t even put any seasoning in my food . I barely had any red beans and too much rice . If you want chicken in Eagle pass I would say go to churches or cook it yourself at home .
Took 25 min. To get 4 sandwiches and 4 pies. No sauce at all on sandwiches. Only chicken with burnt bread. All unmarked packages but didn’t matter since they put nothing on them. They were polite enough just slow, and incorrect order.
Unfair Treatment of Customers and Staff – Request for Accountability To Whom It May Concern, I recently drove 60 miles to a Popeyes location with the intent of enjoying a meal I specifically customized. According to the app and in-store signage, customers are encouraged to customize their orders in person—which is exactly what I did. I requested dark meat, a standard selection and clearly listed option, not a substitution. Despite this, I was told by the manager that they could not accommodate the request. Even after calmly showing that the fine print only prohibits substitutions—not standard selections—I was informed my order would take 20 minutes. It felt as though I was being penalized simply for knowing and advocating for what the policy allows. What’s even more concerning is that I later learned employees who had previously tried to honor this same customer request were reprimanded and had their hours cut. This kind of retaliation against staff for simply trying to provide good service is unacceptable. It punishes both workers and customers, and it creates a culture of fear and resentment—completely contrary to the values Popeyes claims to uphold. I’m raising this issue not just on behalf of myself, but also on behalf of the employees who deserve support, not punishment, for doing the right thing. I respectfully urge Popeyes corporate to: • Clarify and enforce its customization policy across all locations • Protect staff from retaliation when following company policy • Ensure that customers are not made to feel like an inconvenience for expecting the service your brand promotes I hope this is taken seriously. We walked in to a 15 minute wait with no acknowledgment whatsoever. Finally, she had an attitude when she took our orders as if WE were inconveniencing HER. I asked for a strawberry cream pie, and ended up getting apple AFTER I took a bite is when I realized. I went back to ask for an actual strawberry cream pie, and they looked inside where I took a bite, and put it back on the rack. They then grabbed a random pie, inspected it, and was still confused as to what it was. One of the ladies went to open up the pie with her finger, but noticed me watching and grabbed a fork. She then took it to the back, came back, and gave it to me. Upon inspection at the table, she had pulled the pie out and poked it open with the fork that she had grabbed.
I love Popeyes chicken but I have visited this place two days in a row and ordered a CLASSIC sandwich and LARGE fries. Both days when I got home and looked in the bag it turns out they gave me a SMALL fry and a SPICY sandwich. The fact this happened back to back is unacceptable. I’ll go to Chick Fil A from now on.
I was in line since 9:48pm on Sunday and I got to the speaker at 9:55 and they told me they’re closed? They still have 5 minutes till closing. I have a video of them saying they’re closed 5 minutes beforehand, so I’ll send it to corporate. There were other people behind me waiting to order well before 10pm. They took the person’s order in front of me but as soon I got to the speaker they’re closed?… Unbelievable.
The food is not the issue. The quality and speed of the service is the issue. We had to repeat the order six times via the drive through. SIX! We ordered red beans and rice yet still had to ask for forks. FORKS! I am not a fan of eating with my fingers with hot rice. The restaurant did not look busy which was evident with the employees standing around talking and laughing. However, that last statement is an assumption because again we visited through the drive through window.
