Fui a Evass Restaurante a un desayuno de BNI, el grupo al que pertenezco, y la experiencia fue muy buena. Nos ofrecieron desayuno y café muy ricos, bien servidos y con excelente sabor. El lugar es súper amplio, cómodo y agradable, ideal para reuniones, desayunos de trabajo o venir en familia. Algo que se agradece mucho es que cuenta con estacionamiento, así que no batallas para dejar el coche. El ambiente es tranquilo; vi familias y grupos de personas disfrutando con calma. Sin duda es un lugar funcional, bien ubicado y muy recomendable para empezar el día con buena energía. Si esta reseña te fue útil o te aportó información, dale like 👍

We have had breakfast at this elegant restaurant. The service is great and servers are attentive without being overbearing. Food is wonderful with fresh ingredients and lots of choice to suit any palate. Tasty smoothies and specialty coffees. There is an art gallery upstairs so you can browse while you wait for your food (which doesn't take long). Enjoy this lovely spot if you happen to be in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Go there every other Friday for a Bible study. Atmosphere & service is always excellent. The servers are wonderful with being patient as I try to order & speak in Spanish. I usually get the same thing- the fresh fruit bowl with yogurt & granola. The serving is quite large & is really filling

Evaas Restaurant, incredible food and great prices. Yesterday, exploring this culinary mecca we went to Evass on Colonia Ejidal. We realy enjoyed the Haute Cousine. We had Ratatouille, Ravioli filled with Chaya and a Crusted fish (Robalo) just a few places serve this fish because is expensive, so it means they care much about quality. They have a master bartender that creates memorable drinks. Personal attention from Chef Eden. So to summarize: Superb food, service, beautiful place (all the tables are made of Parota wood) free parking and security so your car is safe. At a very good price. From my past posts you know me I only recommend places I've visited and their quality, flavor, and general ambiance warrants it.

Evass Restaurant is an oasis for delicious food in the most unlikely side street location. If you are in or traveling to Playa Del Carmen, Evass is a "must visit" Restaurant. Its a culinary delight that your taste buds will thank you for! A posh atmosphere without the posh price. The service is amazing, and the food the best I've had in Mexico or really anywhere!

We had the most delicious dinner at Evaas. The chef is wonderful and the food was the best we've had anywhere. We had a stuffed portobello as an appetizer and it was perfect. We enjoyed salmon and a well spiced pork hock as our main courses, both were fantastic. The service was top notch, and the restaurant atmosphere is lovely. You have got to try Evaas.

This is a fantastic place to eat breakfast in Playa del Carmen. We received excellent service - the waiter was extremely attentive. Our food was delicious, and this is first time I've had Eggs Benedict that were done properly in Playa. We will be returning for sure!

Tenía una expectativa distinta pues no tenía información del lugar pues alguien me lo recomendó. El lugar me pareció muy bonito y bien decorado en un inicio. La comida tardó demasiado en llegar, solo eran empanadas y huevos motuleños. Aunque el personal fue muuuyy amable el servicio fue algo lento. La naranjada mineral me pareció algo simple y me sirvieron en vaso desechable, el café americano tardo mucho para el refill, tenían muy limitado el menú de postres y el pan de elote con queso bola era eso, Pan de elote con queso bola arriba, la verdad esperaba un poco más. Me tocó una mesa del centro del edificio y pasados unos minutos nos comenzó a dar el sol directamente por el tragaluz en el domo. Dado que no probé el plato que me recomendaron por qué ya no había es probable que regrese para intentar cambiar mi percepción. El precio es razonable por los alimentos, ¿Volvería? Probablemente si por la recomendación que me han hecho pero me gustaría que la experiencia fuera mejor respecto de los comentarios anteriores.

Me gustó mucho el sazón de lo que comí. El único pero fue el mole de mi esposa, no tenía sabor. Cómo si lo hubieran diluido con agua. Se sentía insípido. Pero en general volvería nuevamente.

Buen lugar y se come rico. No sé si llegue muy temprano pero como recomendación ponga algo afuera del lugar que identifique que ya están abiertos. Yo no los conocía y por lo mismo no identifiqué el lugar y mucho menos porque no se ve abierto. Pero en general todo bien. Si regresaría

La comida es rica, usan productos locales y tienen buena atención, sin embargo las bebidas necesitan mejorar un poco tienen opción de un par de bebidas no usuales como milkshake de avocado y banana y nos la sirvieron caliente... No muy buena, sin embargo vale la pena por la comida... Es muy rica

We stayed in Casa Ejido Hotel and we were told that there were a partnership with Evass restaurant for breakfast so we went. We arrived at 9 am and the place was empty. We started to order and asked about the special breakfast for Casa Ejido Hotel's customers but were told that we couldn't benefit from the offer. Still a mystery why... The service was ok, one server was pretty cold but the other one was really nice. Overall, the food was alright, nothing exceptional but ok for breakfast. It was convenient because it was really close to our hotel, but it's not necessarily a place we'll come back to.

My favourite local breakfast spot Clementinas (great coffee, cappuccinos, bakery items, brunch items prepared with care) was closed on Sunday, so I decided to give Evass a try. The restaurant is newer, spotless, white table cloth, staff in white shirts with ties, definitely upscale looking, and for a nice change air-conditioned. Walking through the front door - opened by a greeter - felt like walking out of Mexico into wannabe metropolitan France. Nothing wrong with that, if that is what you are looking for. But even there, between the large TVs set on News or Sports, sprinkled between large pieces of Art it seemed that this ambitious place was lost in a clear character... felt more like a mid-scale hotel restaurant... impersonal. Then the staff, bless them, obviously trained to be upscale (napkins on lap, pulling out chairs, super professional) seemed uneasy, clearly not enthusiastic to be there, smiling at the table but again appearing to be anything but the warm, gracious, happy people I have come to love in Mexico. As if they were stripped of their personalities to fulfill some ideal of the owner. With my expectations now adjusted to this setting, I was dying to order their baguette with Ham and Cheese and a cappuccino. I had eaten a lot of traditional local food and so being here I felt like fresh white bread, with Jamon and Queso. I wish I had taken photos.... the cappuccino, arrived overstated, tasting ok, flanked by a long spoon with a bend the handle, I guess to balance on the corner of the glass? (It did not balance) And then we waited... we joked at some point that they had to cure the ham first, and when our two sandwiches (smoked salmon for my friend) finally arrived, I could not believe it. Even though the menu had said "on baguette" the bread was soft, white "Bimbo"-type... far from a French baguette or any bakery type bread for that matter. The leaf of salad was wilted, the ham although good tasting, seemed a little off in colour and the combination was dry. Again, anywhere else I would have not minded as much but given the white table cloths and prices.... In short, we could not wait to get out of there. Looking around at other tables, their food seemed American dinner dressed up to be fancy but not quite knowing how to achieve that. Now, I usually do not write picky reviews and am easy going. This place has so much potential, and based on the other reviews, I do believe that their main courses are indeed good, again if small, fancy servings on big plates is your thing. A few small adjustments (find a real bread supplier, loose the ties, and allow the staff to be who they are while being "quietly" professional, decide on one interior theme) will do wonders, and have this place be full on even a Sunday morning. Maybe swing by Clementinas to understand what I am talking about. Best of luck.

Hoy me desilusione de este lugar. Espero NO volver pronto, o hasta que recuperen su calidad. Fui al festejar el cumpleaños de mi papá, este solía ser uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos, además somos casi vecinos, estamos muy cerca de ahí. La carta ya cambió, es un desayuno muy básico, el servicio al cliente fue muy malo, demasiado tardado, casi cada 10-15 min nos traían las cosas. Se lo mencionamos a nuestra mesera. Trato de compensarlo con un regalo de rebanada de zanahoria. Pero aún así no pasó. Antes se distinguía el restaurante por calidad, precio y sabor. Sin embargo hoy no fue el caso.

Pague más de 700 pesos por una coca cola y los dos desayunos más decepcionantes en Playa del Carmen. Regrese a Evass después de 7 años y me encontré un lugar tristemente convertido en un recuerdo. Absolutamente nada especial. El desayuno tardó muchísimo, los huevos Benedictos no tenían la yema tierna, lo contrario estaba muy firme, el pan era un croissant, que estaba rico, pero los Benedictos van con brioche no con croissant, me sirvieron en un plato viejo y despostillado con una raquitica porción de ensalada. Para el omelette que pedimos no había frijoles... El jugo de naranja era artificial y se sentía diluido. El café refill tardo bastante en llegar. Nunca lo ofrecieron de hecho. El servicio tenía sus momentos no tan malos, se disculparon por la tardanza, pero hasta ahí . Muy mal

No me gustó. Primero está lejos de todo. Es un lío encontrar el restaurante para quienes no vivimos en Playa. El internet no funciona y eso limita el poder consultar el menú en línea. Me prestaron un menú impreso en un papel todo arrugado. Solicite ayuda del mesero para elegir mi platillo y el que me recomendó estaba sin chiste, insípido. Cuando le hice mis comentarios al mesero, me dijo que se lo comunicó al chef, y que así era el platillo. Que ese era el “sabor” que debía tener. Un platillo caro y aburrido. Una pechuga de pollo bañada en una salsa de jitomate. La verdad, no lo recomiendo, tienen pocas mesas y aun así el servicio es lento. No regresaré jamás.
