This place is a gem! We went in on happy hour. We were served with free appetizerrs and margaritas special prices. And the margarita were in large full glass. We ordered food and it was great!! The bar was so pretty. The best was are bartender. This will be my new spot!;

My mom, my brother & I went here for happy hour & the waiter was awesome! We didn't order food but our waiter Manuel, made our happy hour a great one. He was extremely attentive. Beer glasses were constantly refilled with the pitcher my brother ordered that was on our table & as soon as I would finish my drink, Manuel would ask me if I needed anything else. His service is superb.

We will be back, same as we have been for years!

Good happy hour on drink specials and the atmosphere is that old school type of Mexican style that doesn’t go over the top but doesn’t give you less than you need. The main guy there is Manny and his service was top notch!! Attentive and welcoming! The food was DELIVERED!! I grabbed a simple carne asada taco because this type of taco will tell you be everything you need to know about the rest of the food options! It should be a simple taco but also a tasty one as well!! THIS DAMN TACO WAS SOOO GOOD 😋 the meat was tender juice and thick. The cilantro and onion was fresh and the side chips and salsa were the perfect pairing. I ate at the bar and it made the experience even better! Oh and the rice and beans were excellent! Not dry and stale like a lot of places! This would be a nice place for a date night because people think you have to go somewhere fancy to have a good time… you don’t!

Ill be back to try more! 😁👍🏼 PS: If you like spicy, ask for the Chil de arbol, but dont over do it like i did, or you will be sorry later.... yeah i over did... TMI.. my bad 😅

My friends and I came on Valentines day. We had a table of almost 20. The service was amazing and the food was on point. The server even split most of our checks with pleasure. We all had an awesome dinner and will be back.

Good food and great service!

Very good Calexican food. One (only) salsa is good but not great. Chicken tacos and enchiladas were very good. Gotta get the carrots (free but need to ask). Tostadas are not what you'd expect...served in a fried flour tortilla bowl. Refried beans very good. Ambience is typical for the area. Service very good and friendly.

Food was fantastic, not sure my stomach liked it so much the next day. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor service. The sever was rude and screwed up our order after coming back to the table 2 times to confirm the order he messed up. He didn't seem like he cared at all and just wanted us out of his restaurant.

I'm glad you asked, I went there in a group 10 and to me the place just didn't feel very welcoming. The service was so so, I asked for extra napkins and never got them. Maybe there's a shortage, one napkin per person. I wasn't impressed with there food either. Maybe this virus problem also changed what use to be much better. I don't know but I went as a guess. Not having to pay for my meal made it better. Won't be going back anytime soon.

Years ago the food was excellent. Not the same anymore. Carnitas are very salty. Rice is more like steamed rice. Beans have nice flavor. Drinks are costly. We returned on a Saturday, food was good. The shell on the taco seemed to be pre cooked. We enjoyed our meals.

So, The AC appeared to be broken. It was 85 in there. The service was ok, a little slow. I had to hunt down the waiter once when new people came in so he could get their drink order. This was a 40th Birthday party for one of my sons.

Went here for lunch and I was so excited because I love Mexican food. I always see it packed full of people, so I thought this place must be really good. Service was really awesome and this is the only reason I give 2 stars. I ordered shrimp and it was not fresh , it was frozen shrimp. I know everyone does not make Mexican food the same. But this place should be ashamed of themselves .

They can't seem to get the pick up and delivery orders accurate. I've order 3 times now via delivery or pick up option, and two out 3 times they have messed something up. The one mess up, no rice and beans with the combo plate, no biggie tamales were bomb! This time the tamales aren't the normal shredded beef and potatoes, it's this ground beef taco bell beef. Such a bummer. Their food is great, service is hit or miss. :-(

I also have been coming here for years. Not sure what happened but a few months ago I ordered a to go salad. They put hot melted cheese on top of cold lettuce. I let it go. Tonight I ordered 2 Cadillac Margs and the shot of grand was half a shot. Usually we pay for full. Ordered carni fries to go. Got home and had 1 fricken table spoon of guacamole and sour cream?? Don't think I will go back or recommend like I use to. Sad. Like the people there!!

It is with great regret that I have made the decision to pull the plug on this restaurant after 25 years. The food has steadily declined, and last night it was just pathetic. Moving on 😢

Not a fan. I have been there several times to meet up with an old friend and the food has been inconsistent. Just today, the enchiladas were soupy and ended up ordering a bean burrito. Margaritas have been lackluster. The staff is exceptional.

Waiting a few minutes to get seated indicates they are understaffed. Waited even longer for our order to be taken but enjoyed the fresh chips and salsa during that time. Took too long to deliver the meal. But the food. I'm not going to say it was BAD. But it wasn't GOOD. perhaps BLAND is the best description. The beef taco had no flavor at all. The chicken enchilada wasn't much better, and the chile relleno was just there. Beans and rice were OK but that's not why you pay to sit at a restaurant. Every little taco shop in the area has much better food. Slow to bring the check. Waitstaff was friendly and pleasant but that won't bring us back. One and done.

Bad experience. Food was terrible. The flavors are just way off. My chicken fajitas tastes like the chicken was marinated in soy sauce. My husbands chili Colorado had a strange sweet, vinegar-y type flavor. The kicker though; they overcharged my card the amount their square system charges them, without my authorization. My bill was $70.80. I left a $5 cash tip and crossed through the credit card receipts tip line. They charged my card $75.80. So got themselves a double tip to cover squares 3% charge. Shady, overpriced and terrible. Don’t waste your time or money.

Charged me $40 for some under par food. To be real Robertos taco shop has better food than the stuff they served me on my birthday. It's ok because I'll never be a customer again to east or west. Don't waste your time on this place.

I cant score it a zero or no stars because there is no option, other wise it would be no stars zero! Place is old and smells like an old and dirty place. Food is horrible, we returned 3 dishes out of four ordered. No flavor and ingredients are straight out of the can, not fresh as shown on their menu. Service is horrible, smart comments answers. I have been in Mexico city and have had REALLY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN food and let me mentioned, this has nothing near authentic Mexican food. So if you are looking for authentic Mexican food, go somewhere else, any place, maybe even Taco bell, but not here!

I have been coming here for the past year and the food has been decent but recently they've raised the prices and the food has been horrible. I ordered a cheese enchilada and a beef tamale with rice and beans. The tamale tasted like it was sitting there for hours it was all hard and the beef inside tasted all charred, the beans were awful they had this weird metal canned taste. The customer service was not even there, not once did they ask us how our food was or if we needed refills on our drinks. I'll never return to this dump, I didn't leave no tip either. I should have complained but I was thinking what good will it do? I didn't want anymore of their crappy food. If I could give them zero stars I would, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I would advise you to avoid this place at all costs.

The prices are outrageous for the quality of the food. The beans are canned beans, my family would know because they eat beans at least once every day. I do not recommend it. It was about $200 for 4 people. The service is good but other than that it's no good. Worse Mexican food I've had.👎

This was a 1 out of 5. Server not concerned my order was not right. He corrected my taco, but I felt he was put out! I will not go again. Hopefully people aren't allergic to things in tacos not supposed to be in it... I guess it's a good thing no server name is on guest tickets!

This was the worst Mexican food I have ever had. We had a party at 5 and 3 out of the 5 meals were served cold. The chile rellenos were horrible you can get better ones from the frozen section in Walmart. The beef tacos had almost no meat at all. This place has really gone downhill. My family will never go back to this restaurant!

I came here years ago & it was awesome. Wanted to try it for Mother's day, very very disappointed. Ordered the Machaca, had more onions then egg. Not a lot of flavor. Ordered the chilli Colorado, looked pretty but no flavor. Customer service could have been a lot better.

I ordered the Pollo Asado last night and was really disappointed. The food didn’t taste good at all, it didn’t even taste like chicken. The flavor was off, and it wasn’t what I expected from this restaurant.
