I happen to love little dive bars, but I especially love dive bars with stuff to do, like pool tables darts and karaoke. I'm not sure about the darts but they had everything else top it off with a bartendress that is fun and pours a good drink I'm home. And thats exactly how they make you feel at The Blarney Stone Pub.

The bartender/owner is way chill...(1 star) Pool Tables are kept in great shape (2 stars) League Pool keeps the crowd steady (That's 3), Karaoke keeps it lively (4) and the clientele are all friendly (5th star). The fact that i can say all these good things about a bar in this part of town alone earns it 5 stars.

No food is served here. People are friendly, bar tender on top of his service. There's 2 pool tables, and karaoke I believe only on weekends. Love this place.

I went in here on a Saturday night around 6 and was able to grab a beer and sit at a table without having to fight for a seat... perfect! This place has 2 pool tables and a jukebox. Home sweet home!

Karaoke DJ is patient, accommodating and helpful when adjusting key to music and songs that I wanted to sing. Bar tenders are good listeners, polite, friendly, and are skilled at making drinks. The people that hang out there that know each other treat one another like family. A few customers get a little flirty but that's to be expected..lol!. I enjoy the music, singing and people.I didn't have any food but I'm sure it's good. I heard they have a large crowd on Friday and Saturdays and Karaoke nights often. I was a visitor from Riverside county so I probably won't go again. It's one of the best bar and grill in the area of El Cajon

Great service. Crowded but not slammed. Three pool tables and friendly clientel. Great drinks good juke box. Has a good time. Will go again. Would recommend to any one. Great small neighborhood bar.

Surprised by the experience.. excellent selection of everything.. decent crowd.. not an abundance of day drinkers like other El Cajon establishments.. Gabby is pleasant and proficient.. knows how to get drinks to a full bar..I will return

Typical Irish Bar. Friendly staff. Guinness $10 pint . It would be great to have captions on TV. Also a variety of stations/ options would help.

Liked kareoke but would be nice with some form of stage, especially if you have it 7 days a week. One too many pool tables, no room to sit at tables.

Fun karaoke and the staff is friendly. I don't go out often but with my bestie in town a few nights of fun was needed and this bar was a safe well lit place to go.

We went for food, they had none. They did tell us of a different place to go though and bartender was nice.

Karaoke seven a nights a week and 3 Dollar Shocktops sweet! Rowland is a great host, but their song list leaves something to be desired and the clientele is a bit... Let's just say I heard more than one conversation about purchasing meth outside. It's El Cajon, I'm not particularly surprised.

It can be a rough spot on some nights. The poolsticks are new and they have 3 tables. Drinks were super overpriced but I had a fun time.

I would have given this bar a four or even five star rating if it wasn’t for the patrons that were there. My husband and I were waiting for a pool table for over an hour and once we had gotten one, we had only played two games. (The bartender had informed us that we have to put our names on the board and when the people before us are done playing, then it is our turn. It wasn’t the sort of thing where if you lose, the next person on the list plays the winner.) An older patron woman came up to us on the start of our third game and very rudely asked if we were “going by this??” (The white board that we had our names on for over an hour waiting very patiently to play). Not even five minutes before this interaction, I had gone to use the restroom and another woman came up to my husband and said “you’re done playing??” And he replied with “no, my wife is in the restroom; we are still playing” overall it’s a good atmosphere and the bartender and other patrons were very nice except for the fact that when I took off my jacket I was very intensely stared at which made me and my husband feel uncomfortable. I don’t know who was bartending tonight but she had long red hair and it is Veterans Day - 2020. She was a sweetheart. Thank you for being so nice to us. We appreciate you and the man at the door checking identification.

Me and my friends are old regular customers and we absolutely love the place, however, ever since the barback boy named Moony started working and he is been secretly harassing most women in the bar especially young ones and even sleep with them!! He is unprofessional unhealthy and should NOT be working for such a nice little bar! Please remove or replace him as soon as you can if u wanna keep ur females customers!! Check the cameras thank u so much

Don't waste your time on this place......a bunch of rude low life's that come here and the security at the front denied me entry for no reason at all........I'm pretty sure it was a race thing as I'm Hispanic and it's mostly a white crowd...sad to see that there people in this world that still think in such a way.....would never come back again after being treated in such a way.....stay away from this place at all costs plenty of other bar's in The area that would be happy to take your money and welcome u in their established with open arms

The bar itself is pretty decent. Good drinks, good bartenders. Unfortunately, the location and the majority of the patrons are......well, let's just say it's off 2nd in meth cajon. That should tell you all you need to know. 😐👎 Put that bar somewhere else....probably have a solid 4 stars.

Very u professional and racist security guards and treats you like a thug. Bar tenders are really friendly and worth tips all the time. But security outside of the gate makes this bar 5/10 for me.

Need to learn how to treat patrons and especially it's female patrons as well as not have attitudes and know how to treat people place needs to be closed

I bought 3 drinks and was charged for 5 . when I told the bartended that he freaked out and wouldn't believe me. It wasn't even busy . then he took my 3rd drink that I didn't even finish and and told me I'm never allowed back there again .

Prior to covid this place was amazing loved the bar the people and the atmosphere... Tonight it was lame the bartender obviously has friends that come in that get the attention. It's too bad I missed it and now probably won't be back

I have NO problem with the bartenders. My issue was that karaoke starts at 9pm (supposedly), but the Kj Host is a MESS. In 2 hours, there were 4 singers total. If you are looking for somewhere to actually sing, DONT go here. The Kj Host uses his time to party with his friends instead of doing his job.
