Such a welcomed break from Starbucks. My friends and my drink were all perfectly delicious!! You have the option of getting your drink in a real cup if you are staying..what a treat! I had the white chocolate hot and it's highly recommended.

Best coffee in town, period. With a good selection of food options as well. They offer different alt types of milks as well. Almond and Oat. Super good for capu's. Drop in and place your order today!

Staff was very thoughtful and friendly. I ordered a double espresso in ceramic and Sean (barista & manager) thought to warm the mug before pouring it. I've generally had great experiences when coming here.

Staff and management is friendly and I like this coffee bean a lot. It has a nice vibe if not being a little cramped on busier days.

I love going here. They have such a calm, relaxed atmosphere, the people who make the coffee are amazingly nice, and the prices are low and good. Everything tastes great and I could absolutely stay in here for a day and not mind at all!

It was chilly in LA so before I started my commute home I stopped in at the Coffee Bean to grab a hot cocoa for my ride. The server was super accommodating and friendly, and made the cocoa as if it were homemade. The only negative thing I have to say about the Coffee Bean, Encino would be its parking but that won't discourage me from returning. I will definitely be back.

This is my first time coming to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and I have to tell you Lisa-Marie and Veronica gave me the most welcoming feeling I've ever had. They care about the customers' experience and make sure the customers get what they expect. They truly surprised me as their service is much more professional than the other Starbucks and Paris Baguette stores in the same area. The coffee is great and the vibe is warm, perfect to work and study or just to enjoy a book!

Parking was easy. Always inviting dining rooms and seating—both indoor and outdoor. Encino weather always a treat. I saw Sean training someone very thoughtfully and thoroughly. The effort and care is unmistakable. Excellent staff, excellent coffee. As good as it gets.

It's an alternative to caffeine and is refreshing in the summertime. My favorite Coffee Bean is located in Encino at Ventura Blvd and Louise Ave. What makes the Encino location so wonderful is the friendly employees and serene atmosphere. Okay, this was my first time there. It is definitely a vibe. Leather chairs and clear signage. The coffee was good. I had a small mocha with a warmed blueberry muffin. They have normal portion sizes, so if you worry about over eating with the larger sized portions that never share and eat in one sitting, knowing you shouldn't. You will not have that problem here🙂.

Love the coffee... They staff is friendly and know their coffee.. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because they are slow.. It takes a very long time to get my order even when they have a lot of staff... But the taste n quality coffee is much better than Starbucks.

Love CB&L's pastries, but really cannot get into their espresso drinks. Not robust or strong enough. I prefer Starbucks espresso drinks, but I don't like Starbucks pastries. This location has indoor seating.

The drinks are always great here but they are always so darn slow in making them even when it’s not busy.

Friendly and almost as clean as one would want for a coffee-beverage bar. But the value (what it costs Vs what you get is almost as bad as Starbucks.) If pricing was less greedy, then the overall rating would go to 4-stars.

The girl at the counter was extremely nice! The reason why 2 stars it's because they took away the black forest coffee? I have waited out covered 19 To visit the coffee bean and was told they discontinued black forest coffee! My heart was broken and I will never return to The coffee bean.

I recently went there and they were supposed to be open at 5:30 they saw me out the door waiting but they chose to ignore me and keep on gossiping with each other and then when I asked him when they were going to open they ignored me and continue to gossip they were so disrespectful and rude and the way they wipe the dirty counters and the machines with the rag is really gross because there's so much bacteria on that rag and they wiped the cups with it. Attitudes are horrible

Came into the store to redeem my free Iced coffee that was owed to me for joining the rewards program. Girl with yellow hair was completely clueless on how to ring me up and said that I could not get a ICED coffee, even though theres a sign clearly posted in front of her register saying you get a free drink with rewards. Told her what I wanted in my coffee and all she gave me was a Iced black coffee and told me to put in my own ingredients instead. Then I forgot to check in so I tell the Asian girl so but she walks away and tells me that she "Has to void an order"she was so rude. I came in such a good mood with my husband because we just booked our trip to Hawaii to get attitude. Never will return again. Bad customer service!

No air conditioning, hot as hell with a poor service to match. The outlets I used were loose and when I told them about it I got a bad attitude. I'm not coming back here again, instead I'll go to the Starbucks across the street and save me the headache 😒🙄😒

My chai latte was surprisingly mediocre :-/ I don't know if they purposely decided to make chai lattes unsweetened but I wish they told me first. for a chai it was just not very flavourful, more like a black tea with 0% milk. I was craving that drink all day so I was bummed as u can tell. Hopefully it was just this location.

Can a vegan get a drink in this place?! Please, no tea! What's up with all the flavor powders having dairy?... the fudge!?! It's not the staff's fault, but damn. Dear John Dawson or whomever, I have always favored your drinks to your competitors, but when I gave up eating meat + dairy I thought I would still have options in your stores. I would love to top dollar for a non-dairy ice blended caffeinated drink. You're missing out on those $$$. And how about a tofu scramble wrap or something hearty for the vegans. Too far? Ordered two chocolate crossaints and a cinnamon role and this sadly was possibly the worst tasting ones I've ever had in my life. I saw them unwrap them from pre-packaged plastic (all three items) and they must not have an expiration date because what I bought was so inedible and stale that I sadly, literally, just threw the food and my money away. And I was under the impression that the cinnamon roles would have icing; mine did not. It was just stale cinnamon bread. I'm scarred from this experience

I work across the street. Everytime I’ve placed an online order I’ve come on time for my order and they haven’t even prepared it. This was the final straw for me. Today my order was supposed to be ready at 1:24. They didn’t bring out my food till 1:45. This is the last time I’ll be coming here . Luckily Starbucks is across the street.

The manager seemed especially angry just because I had a Coffee Bean gift card on me, which makes no sense. If you treat customers with respect, they’ll come back. In this case, I’m glad to say I won’t be returning (I gave the gift card to a friend!).
