We drove straight from Toledo to eat here today. Just enjoying this restaurant made the 5.5-hour trip worthwhile. We had a stroller with us, and they very kindly seated us at a table that was perfect for our needs. The staff were very friendly. And best of all, a fantastic set menu and high-quality food for €23. La comida muy rica y las raciones generosas. El personal la verdad es que muy atentos pero se equivocaron de platos en varias mesas. Aún así un ambiente muy agradable. Recomendado.

A good place with a set menu for €23, with generous portions. We've been twice so we could try more of the menu items. For starters, we sampled: delicious fried artichokes, decent black pudding, excellent cod scramble (which we ordered again), and a good mushroom risotto. For main courses: very tasty hake neck (though it was extra), oxtail, and beef cheeks (the oxtail was better), and hake with a simple American sauce. For dessert, the cheesecake, apple compote, and baked apple were all delicious. Definitely a good place to go, given its location in the mountains and off the beaten path.

Después de 15 años yendo 2 veces al mes me veo obligado a poner esta reseña. Desde un año para acá tanto la comida como el servicio está empeorando. Pan con moho, lechuga pasada, servicio lento, platos que no salen y la gota que colma el vaso es la mala tarde que pasé ayer y la noche en el baño. Creía que era yo solo hasta que esta mañana en el trabajo 3 compañeros estamos igual, los que comimos carrilera. Cada vez hay menos gente en el restaurante y eso es por algo. Atrás quedaron los camareros que volaban y las salidas del cocinero a preguntar qué tal todo. Llevo una mañana hecho un trapo y desde aquí les digo hasta nunca

Hoy fue la peor decisión de ir a comer. El escalope no sabía a carne, los pimientos de padrón crudos. El queso brie de los cogollos tostadisimo. En general no hemos quedado agusto. Pensando en no volver.
