If you want to taste high-quality Catalan food at competitive prices, this is your place. It's a bit in the middle of nowhere, and for me that adds even more charm. Their cuisine is worthy of the area it's located in, with quality products and very well prepared. They have a €20 menu that I think is one of the best we've tried lately. The duck burger is simply eye-watering, and the scrambled eggs with foie gras... The photo arrived late, and we devoured what they brought before I even had time to take a picture. You'll have to go and try it for yourself. 😄

We stopped for lunch at Más La Rovira, even though we hadn't been there before, due to the positive reviews we'd read online. Without a doubt, it was a great choice! The setting is idyllic, and the farmhouse is beautiful, nestled in a lush fir forest. The house inside is very cozy, rustic yet modern, and with a tranquility that soothes the soul. Although we put off going back for a dish from the menu, we opted for the set menu. It's €15, and the different starters, main courses, and desserts look wonderful on paper. The service is very friendly and helpful, and after trying the food, all I can say is that it's delicious, with combinations of flavors that make your palate dance with the excellent ingredients. A highly recommended place that we will definitely return to.

A little gem in the middle of Montseny We were lucky enough to discover this charming restaurant during our trip through Montseny. We chose it for dinner because we were looking for an authentic and welcoming place, and we couldn't have made a better choice. The service was simply unbeatable. Robert, the host, is a true spectacle of kindness and hospitality. He not only served us with dedication but also offered us a small insight into the local culture, sharing unique details about the place, such as the famous Fira de l'Avet, which takes place in December and attracts around 100,000 visitors. The food was a delight, full of authenticity and attention to detail. We opted for the €24 menu, and each dish pleasantly surprised us: - Starters: A goat salad with caramelized onions, which they specially adapted for me due to my lactose intolerance (a detail I greatly appreciated!), and breaded brie cheese accompanied by an exquisite homemade jam. - Main courses: We tried the beef fillet and the monkfish, both cooked to perfection and with flavors that reflected the quality of the ingredients. - Desserts: The red berry millefeuille rounded out the meal, while I enjoyed a mint pennyroyal instead of dessert. We loved the experience so much that, having spent the night nearby, we decided to return the next morning for breakfast in this magical little spot. In short, this restaurant is much more than a place to eat: it's an authentic experience, full of warmth and flavor in a spectacular setting. If you're in Montseny, don't miss it. We ordered some mushrooms with a delicious sauce 😊, you definitely have to try them, as well as the cannelloni and, of course, the lamb 💯 points. Whenever we go to the Eastern Pyrenees we pass by the Eix saying, one day we will stop for lunch. And today, September 11th, we stopped and it was worth it. We ordered an XXL cannelloni of monkfish and shrimp (very good) and salad 🥗 burrata with onions and 🍉 (very good). Very good dishes and correct quantity. Good value for money. The monkfish and shrimp cannelloni with tomato bechamel sauce is delicious!!! (And this is said by someone who is not a big fan of fish). Also worth mentioning are the beef croquettes, quail and grilled lamb! If I had to make a suggestion for improvement, it would be the side potatoes, which are too hard/toasted when cooked; I would change the way they are made so that they have a more pleasant texture when eaten. However, this is a minor detail; since it is totally recommended! In addition, there is a calm and relaxed atmosphere, with space between tables.

A farmhouse in a spectacular setting and unbeatable food. In addition, all this combined with excellent treatment by those responsible. A very varied menu with mountain and fish starters, as well as grilled and fish dishes. In our case we ordered some noodles and a brie breaded with candied tomato sauce, for snacks, which were spectacular. As main courses, grilled lamb chops and the house burger which is made with a special ingredient that has made it one of the best and most spectacular burgers I have ever tasted. The desserts, in this case, a white chocolate coulant and a homemade pineapple cake, I can also assure you that they are on another level. We are still waiting for the medium beef for two people which, from what we have seen, must be one of the star dishes of the house, both for the look it makes and for the demand it has. A place to repeat, without a doubt.

Good parking in a rural area far from the town. The farmhouse looks nice and well-kept. The waiter's initial response wasn't good. He warned us to order everything at once since "he wouldn't be going up and down all the time," which surprised us. The service was slow, but understandable since I think he was only there for the two floors. I asked for some homemade bread, and he served it to us for dessert. The food was exquisite, though. Good artichokes and salads. Creamy cod. And the pig's trotters were spectacular!!! The desserts were incredible! By the last minute, the waiter had improved.

Weekday lunch menu, with plenty of options to choose from, but with a high price (24 euros without drinks) where most dishes had a supplement (quite high too: 8-10 euros). Restaurant located in Espinelves, in the middle of nature, but with very easy access from the transversal axis. The building already invites you to feel good, due to the combination of old stone and wood, with the comfort of modern furniture. The menu has many attractive options and everything we ordered was very good, especially the chicken croquettes, the steak and the cheesecake. The only thing to improve is the salad, too simple, without any original touch. The service has been very attentive and fast. Everything is good regarding the preventive measures of Covid: distance between tables, masks properly put on and QR code for the menu.

We went to Mas la Rovira during the fir fair season, despite being full we received very good attention and the quality-price ratio was good. We had lunch from their fair menu which consisted of 4 dishes to share, a second, dessert, drink and bread for 29 euros. The dishes to share were: pumpkin cream, wild potatoes, mussels with coconut milk and curry and padrón peppers. As a second course there was quite a variety to choose from, in our case we opted for the lamb, which was very good. Without a doubt when we return to Espinelves we will return to Mas La Rovira.

A lovely restaurant in a spectacular setting. The service is excellent, and the quality-price ratio is good, especially the weekday menu. However, I personally wouldn't recommend it during the Fira del Avet (Avet Fair), as they offer a "set menu" for €35 with (incomprehensibly, given the term "set menu") a supplement on certain dishes. There's a small playground outside where children can play freely. Highly recommended.

We asked for a fourth piece...and no, we had to ask again, and again we got 3 tiny pieces of reheated, untoasted bread. The dessert was okay and the service was also decent, although slow. The place hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in ages, and the shelves on the windows were covered in dead bugs. In short, a disappointment. The steaks weren't tender, the goat cheese wasn't a log, and the crema catalana was pre-made and tasteless.

Entre el menú y los suplementos, acabas pagando bastante más. Casi 40 euros por persona pidiendo vino de la casa. La bebida tampoco está incluida, salvo agua. Fuimos un día que hacia frio la calefacción estaba baja, la chimenea apagada. Había mucho ruido. Un restaurante poco acogedor. El servicio muy lento ,todo y que por ser festivo no estaba muy lleno.
