I come here quite often. The chicken is always very tender, and the menu is simple but well executed. The chicken broth is clean and flavorful, and if you like spicy food, adding their chili sauce really takes it to the next level. Prices are very reasonable, portions are solid, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Compared to the rice dishes, I strongly recommend ordering the noodle soups. It’s a great spot for all ages, and kids especially enjoy it.
Great comfort food. Reminds me just like how my mom makes her special steam chicken 🐔 loved how hot (temp) the soup was and still hot even after I had finish my bowl. I had leftover chicken and took it to go. Loved how they hooked me up with an extra ginger scallion sauce without the extra charge. The staff was also extremely friendly :) 💯 would come back. Parking area is a bit sketch but delicious food is always worth risking my life for lol 😂
Visiting on a work trip, let me say this is one of, if not the best pho broth I’ve ever had. Also this chicken with the ginger sauce, that was the real winner. My only regret is not having enough room in my tummy to try the rice rolls. Rarely see them at pho spots.
Everything is so good. All dishes I ordered were very tasty. Waitress are friendly. Great portion with affordable price. I will come back
Best bahn cuon in Oakland. Born eating Vietnamese food. This hit the spot. Price is decent.

Grandpa Approval The chicken served has thin skin and no underlined fat and tender meat at very reasonable price. Very clean table settings, spotless plates, bowls, even sauces bottles. Sprouts served after roots are removed. The steam rice rolls or banh cuon is excellent. The rice sheet is soft but not braking into paste, sign of quality. The fish sauce is little more on the sweet side and light in salt side. One can adjust to own taste. Parking is a challenge but worthy the Parking effort. Food at this price they deserve five stars in terms of value and quality.
There is no place like this..their chicken pho is the best I have ever had. I also love their fresh boun cuon. The quality of every ingredient that goes into their dishes is truly delicious and fresh. Oakland gem
Best bahn cuon in Bay Area that I've had. I'm a very picky eater and I love this place. Other places only serve around 5 pieces with a bunch of veggies and meats but I ONLY want banh cuon and this place serves 10 pieces that have pretty good amount of meat inside. And the price is pretty good for how many pieces we get. And I don't eat spicy so I always ask for non-spicy fish sauce. I love to dunk every bite in fish sauce so I always ask for 2 fish sauce (I always only order to go).
Fresh noods and chicken with great clear golden broth. Coffee is decent too! But the best is their banh cuon, perfect texture and doesn’t fall apart on you. 👌
Best pho ga ever, with the ginger scallion sauce, so comforting.
Great food. Chicken Pho is a must try, very tasty. We usually ordered the whole chicken and Pho alone to enjoy. The size of Pho is good! Ginger and onion sauce is so so, but this is true to every restaurant that I visited. Appetizer (rice roll) with fish sauce was good too. It's just usually too many customers and had to wait, so I don't recommend this restaurant to you. 😁
First time here. Completely blown away by the food. The grilled pork chop on the rice plate was super juicy and tasty. The chicken gizzards used the chicken soup as the base and elevated the flavor a lot. I also enjoyed the rice roll. The price is very reasonable, especially considering the recent inflation (thank you Joe). Will definitely come again.

The best chicken with green onion, ginger sauce around! The pho and broth are so tasty! All appetizers are really, really good! My regular "go to" place for dine in or take out!!

The chicken on the bone is meaty and juicy. The broth is favorable and not too salty. The chicken gizzards are tender. The bowl of noodles is served with steamed bean sprouts. It is wheelchair accessible. Their Banh Cuon (steamed rice wrap 10pcs) is my favorite. I usually order at least 2 b boxes to go. They sell out fast so good to call in and place your order (best to order sooner than later).
Tastes like home food. The chicken is fresh and has a bright yellow color from turmeric ! It’s a very light broth . No msg probably. 5 large pieces of chicken in my soup. Veggie plate w lightly cooked sprouts the way my mom would prefer it! I love the rice rolls! I’ve never been good at making those At home. Without my mothers coaching . So I’m glad to get this Togo! This is so close to home!
Another “hole in the wall” location that delivered upon request. Chicken pho was not greasy and the portions were plentiful. The m by is basic but didn’t bother me sometimes too many options make the experience feel like you are going to miss out on something. I would suggest this place to others and I give the chicken pho a 7/10
Food was good. Girls got the chicken pho 🍲 and rice wrap rolls. I got the beef pho🥩 🍲 Food is good neighborhood is ghetto but all good food comes from the hood with love. Place needs Air-conditioning it was hella hot to be eating soup in the summer with no ac
A hole in the wall family run restaurant. Don't expect great service here. They serve Gaì pho here, or chicken as their speciality. They have beef pho and other traditional Vietnamese noodle dishes. The food is good, though we saw the small bowls looked small, we went with the large which had more noodles and broth. None of us could finish the large.
Fun fact, this place has the same name as my late uncle. Whole in the wall pho place. Their pho ga was refreshingly light. Their banh cuon is a must when dining here. They make it fresh and can often be sold out quickly. Overall will come back if I’m in the area.

Chicken gizzards had a nice texture. Beef Pho included some thicker cuts that seemed tougher to chew (Maybe brisket). The blanched been sprouts and ginger sauce were a nice touch. The service was excellent.

The banh cuon is very good. Huge size with soft rice noodle wrapper, good dipping sauce, and lots veggies to go with it. The portion is big. Too bad it does not come with sliced cucumber or bean sprouts. But it's still delicious. The chicken rice portion is also generous, plenty of rice and the chicken is soft. The restaurant is a bit out of the way from china town but would come back to to try the chicken noodle soup.
Not *bad* but not great: I went to Wing Wah because I wanted to get banh cuon (rice rolls) and meatball pho, and this is one of the few pho places that has banh cuon. The banh cuon was good, but the pho was disappointing (at least it is when taken to go). The noodle was not cooked right (in my opinion, it should be pretty elastic and only just done so that it continues cooking in the broth). They did separate the soup and noodles, but the soup was not hot enough. I only waited 10 minutes for my food and then the 10 minute drive home should not have cooled the soup too much. There was also no basil included with my pho veggies, which I found unusual. What was included was lettuce, which didn't work well. (Maybe it works better with pho ga, which I don't usually get. Pho ga does seem to be their specialty since it's mentioned in the name.) The beef balls were also dry. (I don't know why though. I've never had dry beef balls at any other pho place.) I wanted to like this place, and it had good reviews, but I think I'll come back for the pho at least. I'd rather get pho from Pho Hoa Lao, Pho Anh Dao, and Pho King instead.
