My sister had been talking about Loca for a while she had been following them on Facebook, and was eager to visit. When I finally checked out their website to be immediately welcomed by a Willy Wonka quote, I was SOLD before I even glanced at the food or menu. We made a reservation for Sunday lunch, and I can honestly say this is one of the best roasts I've ever had out. I opted for beef (which came with all the trimmings and the best gravy I've ever tasted in my life) and a side of cauliflower cheese. It was incredible. The staff are lovely - super friendly and accommodating. I’m not sure who is cheffing it backstage, working magic in the kitchen, perhaps Willy Wonka himself, but wow can they cook. Thank you, Loca, for a fantastic Sunday afternoon. We can't wait to return for another meal, and we're looking forward to trying breakfast next. And another roast- maybe even the same day. 😂 11/10. Would highly recommend.

Have visited a few times and each time it’s been outstanding. Wine and beer selection is excellent, cocktails are great too. Food is exceptional, small but varied menu which changes regularly. Service is outstanding. Always served with a smile and a chat.

My sister and I came along last night for dinner. Wow! Im blown away. What a wonderful restaurant. The decor is fab, the toilets are spotless and renovated to a high standard, the atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff are very friendly and approachable. I ordered the rump steak medium rare, and it arrived exactly that. My sister ordered a burger, and it was so good! We also enjoyed the lemon tart for dessert. It was amazing! Especially the lime ice pop. A smack in the face with lime! Delicious. We gad a great meal, and it was very reasonably priced. I'll be back on Sunday for my 50th birthday to sample one of those naughty but nice cocktails that look delish! Keep up the good work, Felixstowe is very lucky to have you there!!

Fantastic place to eat breakfast,lunch,dinner,cakes snacks,friendly polite staff with great atmosphere,we had breakfast and was 👌great quality of food. very clean and fresh environment. Ideal for popping in after Felixstowe parkrun aswell ,poster attached. 🏃🏻🏃‍♀️🏊‍♂️🏖

We visited Loca bar and restaurant several times during our stay in Felixstowe twice for dinner and once for breakfast. We were so impressed with the service and the friendliness of the staff and were made to feel very welcome. The food was delicious especially from the new autumn menu the cod, the scallops and the duck. The Cocktails were also great. The bar and restaurant is very highly recommended.

Just enjoyed a Sunday Roast. I had nut roast and my husband had beef. Absolutely delicious and presented beautifully with the most enormous Yorkshire pudding! Slow paced service, which once the wine came was lovely and relaxing. Recommend others to visit and we will be back to try a breakfast very soon. Very nice server too.

Fantastic addition to the sea front. The decor is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and attentive and very informative on the dishes. The menu has something for everyone, freshly cooked and great presentation. We have really enjoyed the visits we have had there and have booked for our staff Christmas party. Highly recommend x

Had a lovely evening with the wife at the musical and comedy night! Fantastic food scallops to start and beef stew. Lovely warmly hearty dish. Owners are Fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone. Cocktails are lovely and reasonable priced. Well done all. Dan & Lucy.

We had the most wonderful experience at this lovely family-run restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel completely at home. You can really tell how much heart goes into the place – it has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. Caris and Leon were absolutely fantastic hosts. They are so friendly, attentive and genuinely helpful, always checking in to make sure everything was perfect without ever being intrusive. Their passion for what they do really shines through, and it makes such a difference to the whole experience. And the food… simply incredible! Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. It’s the kind of meal you’re still talking about the next day because it was just that good. If you’re looking for somewhere with amazing food and truly personal service, this is the place. We’ll definitely be returning – highly recommended!

My husband and have visited Loca a few times now but last night we had such a beautiful evening it was absolutely worth the review! Let me start with the atmosphere. My husband is not a great lover of bustly busy people, and loud music and he loved it at Loca. It's got a nice relaxed chill vibe with music to match and the classy decor is the perfect setting. The waitress and bar staff were welcoming and friendly and attentive but not too much and went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Finally let me talk about the food and cocktails. It was one of the nicest meals I have had at a restaurant for quite a while, flavours were beautiful and all seasoned perfectly. The Signiture cocktails are a cut above and the best I have had out of London, well worth the money! We each had a starter and main course and 3 Signiture cocktails each, for an idea of the pricing below. If you have the chance I would highly recommend a visit, the team there have done good! We will be back!

We visited recently to celebrate a birthday, and Loca's staff were just fantastic. From making the booking and pre-order process super easy for a large group of us, to just being super friendly and professional and making my mum feel special on her birthday. Not to mention how good the food was too! Thank you so much Loca!

Mamma Mia what a great night at Loca Bar & Restaurant in Felixstowe. The ambience, food, Service and entertainment was fantastic. I've had several wonderful experiences at this venue and the latest one certainly didn't disappoint. Looking forward to the next one!

My wife and I visit the Sunday market and follow by a coffee.before heading home. We didn't know that this one time 'cafe' had since reopened; what a transformation, absolutely brilliant. The staff were most welcoming and escorted us to the very comfortable seating front lounge area. I had an iced latte and my wife a decaf coffee, both served by a very pleasant lady assistant. There were a lot of diners there (11:15) and from what I could see of their meals they were substantial so must dine there at some future date. Thank you Loca, until the next time.

Dined at the Loca last night and it was faultless they had a full restaurant due to Christmas party's but still fitted us in to a bar table/booth. Staff super friendly and fast service Food quick and delicious we all had the buttermilk chicken burger it was amazing Highly recommended you won't be disappointed thank you Loca Bar & Restaurant nice to know restaurants still provide this level of service Will definitely be back

Arrived today for breakfast - although busy we were greeted promptly and a table cleared and served to us. Served with a 5 star breakfast. This is our 3 visit and has been great each time. Such a lovely atmosphere. Even better when greeted with sun! See you again xx

Visited last night and the place is gorgeous and decorated beautifully. Had the fillet steak and was incredible. Cooked to perfection!! Looking forward to coming back again.

Had a large booking yesterday. Food was spot on for me and most of us. Odd one or two complained at little things but can't please everyone in life. Roasts are very tasty and will defo come back for another. All I say is please put more pork on it 👌

Hubby and I visited Loca yesterday and as it was a Friday decided to stick with tradition and try the curry battered fish and chips. We were shown to our reserved table promptly by a friendly waitress. We were served 2 fillets each of fish, with a gorgeous homemade tartar sauce and an ample portion of chips. The fish was of very good quality with large white flakes and the batter was crispy and very tasty. The chips were also cooked to perfection. We really wanted to try the crumble but had no room left for dessert! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend the Loca.

Went to the cockney night, Friday 16th Jan, What can I say Brilliant night, staff was fantastic Food was lovely leona was great, as was carradines sing-a-long, would definitely recommend it.

What a proper lovely place, great style and atmosphere . Food was out of this world best breakfast in felixstowe by a country mile. Totally the same option for gluten free was amazing. It was so nice for my breakfast to came looking as colourful and full as a regular meal . Bathrooms are again lovely and the extra effort is really seen My only moan is I came as a table for 1 and waited 30mins for my coffee and nearly 45 for my meal. It was worth it tho but I'm honest on my reviews or they are pointless. I'm 100% coming back next time in the evening.

Lovely airy restaurant with comfortable seating including settees with sea views. We were greeted and shown to a table for two. The lunch menu was not too large so selection was quite quick. We both had a large Pepsi and Beef Stew. It arrived on a tray with the stew in a small cassarole, a crusty, brown seeded roll and two packs of butter. The stew, which had squares of blue cheese on top, was delicious. No complaints but just a question. Does a small pot of stew and a roll warrant the £16.95 each price tag?

Unexpectedly I got one of the best steaks ever at Loca. A perfectly cooked fillet mignon that was absolutely wonderful. Good selection of wines and beers. Service was a little slow but very friendly.

My husband and I went in here this morning to have breakfast. The waitress came over and we asked for a table. She was very rude and abrupt with us saying the tables were booked!! There were half a dozen people in there, it was only 9.45am. We felt they were very hostile towards us and the waitress was very rude. We went up the road and had a lovely breakfast else where, and were made to feel very welcom. When we walked past loca it was virtually empty. We visit Felixstowe regularly and we certainly won't be going there. The staff need some customer service training.

Had the nightmare of coming here today. Service was abysmal, food mediocre at best. Had to take a charred lump of steak and a cocktail back. Everything else was bland and not cooked to any standard. I don't understand how the reviews are that good for it.
