This was a wonderful experience. Mas que nada las vibras son pero muy buena!!!!! 💕💕☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️💫✨💖
The customer service is great. Instantly asked if been here before, and I had not. From There they explained the menu and options we had with buffet vs el a carte. I was taken aback by my delicious drink and the cup they put it in. I had the Carribean elegance btw. Food was also on point. And the ambiance was pretty dope
Easy to get a table, drinks are good, ASHLEY was the total BEST. Definitely going back because Ashley gave us the best service EVER! Churrasco was good. DJ played great music. Dancing all night.
If you’re looking for an amazing night out in NYC, Cafe Nunez is the spot. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is on point — great music, chill atmosphere, and the perfect setting whether you’re out with friends or on a date. The churrasco was absolutely fire 🔥 — cooked perfectly, juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. You can tell they don’t cut corners with the quality. Every bite hit. The hookah was smooth and lasted a long time, with great flavor options and consistent smoke the whole night. Definitely one of the better hookah experiences I’ve had. And shoutout to our waiter Isabella — she was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out on time. She checked on us without being overbearing and really added to the overall experience. Between the food, hookah, drinks, and service, Cafe Nunez delivered a full 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be back. 💯
Karla was very familiar with the menu. The food was good, music and vibe. She checked on us. Drinks were great. Karla is awesome. I will definitely come back. Thanks to Karla. I enjoyed myself
had an amazing time karla was absolutely incredible. She showed great hospitality and made sure my cup was always full. Even while handling a lot of tables, she stayed attentive and on top of everything. Truly top-tier service. She deserves double pay for how amazing she was
Just had my first experience at cafe Nunez and it was phenomenal. Cyndie took such great care of us, I felt welcome and taken care of. The food was so good. I highly recommend the fish tacos and happy hour margaritas!
Cafe Nuñez in midtown is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a fun restaurant and bar with great energy. The wings were absolutely excellent—crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The drinks were just as impressive, well-made and served quickly. A special shout-out to Ricky and Maria, who were outstanding servers. They were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. Their customer service truly sets this place apart. If you’re in the area and want great food, strong drinks, and top-notch service, Cafe Nuñez is definitely worth a visit.
A wonderful little restaurant / café. One of my favorite places during my time in Manhattan: - Excellent, authentic food from the Dominican Republic (Latin American). - Large portions, and a great variety of meals at a good price. You are sure not to go home hungry. (You might even be fine ordering 1 meal for 2 people.) - Friendly warm atmosphere with very personable and attentive service. - Excellent, unique and authentic Dominican cocktails I have never had anywhere before. (Happy hour on Margaritas during week; call them for the exact time) - On Monday evenings a fun little Karaoke with a friendly welcoming audience. (Can be a bit noisy then; call them for the exact time) - You easily find a good table without reservations during the week at any time. - Easy to reach from Times Square area, also on foot. If you are looking for a special location for going out in Manhattan, this is your place to go. It certainly deserves more visitors. Go there!
I had the best experience at Cafe Nunez thanks to our waitress, Amelia. From the moment we sat down, she welcomed us with a warm smile that made us feel right at home. She was attentive, kind, and incredibly helpful with recommendations. Amelia checked in at just the right times, making sure everything was perfect without ever making us feel rushed. Her service turned a good meal into a truly memorable one. Cafe Nunez is lucky to have her!
This place was amazing! Food was so good and the atmosphere of this place was truly unique, great music to top it off. Odri was unforgettable, extremely professional, and made sure everything was perfect for us. She made our experience one of a kind. Thank you Cafe Nunez for a great night in the big city and special thanks to Odri making it happen!
The food was good and the service was fast. I’ve been there on the weekends , and it’s always a fun time! The DJ plays great music, and the vibe is on point. One thing to note, I wish the bartenders or servers would mention that an 18% gratuity is already included. I ended up tipping an extra 20% in cash without realizing it. Other than that, it’s a great spot whether you’re looking to dance or just enjoy a nice dinner.

Can't complain about the AYCE buffet price for the area. The food was plenty and varies, loved that they and watermelon available. Clean place, friendly waitresses. Only conplaint is that everything too salty and dry. Only stewed dishes are still tender, beef leathery & way overcooked.
I had a blast during Tuesday night Happy hour for my birthday! They had a great deal for a premium flight of shots for $25 and the food was delicious. Our server Cindy was attentive and friendly. 4 stars for the food because one of the hot plates for our table came cold and undercooked so it had to be sent back. The music was great to dance to but not too loud where we were sitting so we could still talk. The decorations were festive and tasteful!

Hostess was aware we were here to eat and got us seated asap to place our orders before the kitchen closed! But $5 mandatory coat check, when dining in and my coat can go on my chair? Absurd. Food is beyond mid and under cooked. Cheese not melted, meat not apparent. Though, the server was kind and attentive so that’s something. Dance floor looked like fun if you’re prioritizing night life vibes.
I was here this past weekend for brunch with my girls celebrating my bachelorette. I found this place online it looked like a good time. When I got there, there was pretty much no one because of the storm alert going on. I was surprised there was no music playing, and the ac was on blast when it was freezing outside. Not even an hour in, the server told us that we had the table for 3 hours only and that they had another reservation so we would have to keep consuming alcohol if we wanted to stay. We felt taken back a little because we were the only people in the establishment, probably because of the storm. No one ever came until we left past the 3 hours. My party started leaving and one of the workers approached us to give my 2 friends and I a hookah on the house. Which I don’t understand why he didn’t offer that sooner when my party was still there and I had already purchased 2 hookahs. Towards the end hours later a group shows up and the server after I even left her a good tip despite the way they treated us gave my friend an attitude and sort of kicked us out. There were so many empty tables still. Food was not worth it. Over all I won’t be coming back, customer service needs improvement

Horrible ! This place is a straight-up Times Square TOURIST TRAP . Do your homework before coming here. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 We arrived around midnight with a group of six and were told the only way in was to buy a bottle. The bottle was $200. It was Tito’s. A $35 liquor store bottle suddenly became premium . Inside, things didn’t improve. Service was sloppy and unorganized. They wiped down a regular restaurant table and called it our section. Not enough cups, no real setup, no flow. It felt rushed and careless, like this was all standard operating procedure. The waitress are confused and arent really professional at all. Just Dominicans girls with BBLs wearing bathing suits. Yes, they play music. That’s the only plus. But this is Manhattan. Plenty of places play good music without forcing bottle service or making you feel like a walking invoice. It’s overpriced because it’s on 34th Street and rent is high. That’s the value proposition. As a New Yorker of over ten years, I wouldn’t spend my own money here. There are way better options uptown and downtown. Our company hosted an event here, which is the only reason I went. If I were paying, absolutely not. Posting this so others don’t feel like they got got.
Tell your manager don't touch people if he wants to tell something to someone especially WOMEN!!! My friends and I are professional dancers, we were dancing there a little like 15-20 might nothing special, just trying to relax. Food was late, no tap water, they charged $5 to keep the jacket lmao, and the waitress brought a different dish and we were waiting for the plate with Nachos an hour! There were lots of free tables! Respect to DJ! People around us were really nice and enjoyed our dancing! DON'T TOUCH STRANGERS!!! BE POLITE WITH PEOPLE!!! TALK NICELY!!!
On a recent occasion, I encountered an issue with my lunch special order. While I have previously received satisfactory meals, today’s order included an excessive amount of rice and a moderate quantity of steak, accompanied by approximately ten beans. Upon contacting the store and explaining the situation, I attempted to inquire about the reason for this deviation from my usual order. However, I was informed that I needed to bring the meal to the store for inspection. The store is situated at 35th Avenue between 7th and 8th Avenues, approximately 27 minutes from my workplace. Regrettably, the manager did not respond to my phone call or attempt to engage in a conversation. This incident serves as a concerning representation of the store’s overall quality and service standards.
