Un posto tranquillo e accogliente dove gustare dell'ottimo cibo. I piatti sono semplici ma preparati con cura e attenzione, con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il personale è gentile e cordiale.

Io e il mio ragazzo veniamo spesso a mangiare qui e ci troviamo veramente ma veramente bene!! I piatti sono buonissimi, la pizza è squisita e i prezzi contenuti ( considerando che siamo nel centro di Firenze). Ma la vera bellezza di questo posto è la gentilezza del personale!! Discovered this wonderful place through a cooking class there. Had absolutely one of the best experiences with chef Kevin and his brother Ani. Very pleasant and courteous and knowledgeable about the food. You can tell how passionate they are about the food and how much they care about how it's made and tastes, and it tasted amazing! Anytime I will be in Florence I will make it a point to come back.

I had a wonderful lunch at La Carbonata Del Porrati today. Delicious carbonara pasta and mista salad served with tasty focaccia. I regret, to the disappointment of myself and the gentleman who served me, that I was unable to finish all of my lunch and travel plans meant I couldn't take the delicious leftovers with me. The food is delicious, portions very generous, and service very kind. Apologies to your grandmother, and I hope to return again, with an empty stomach, and clean my plate!

We visited in September, and it was our very first dinner in Florence. The staff were made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was amazing so it is a must go to restaurant when in the city. We ordered the steak and couldn’t resist savoring every bit off the bone, it was really that good. Our first stop the day we arrived in Florence was this very unassuming restaurant. Little did I know this place would end up being ingrained in my memory. The food was incredible by all means of the word. The cook was also incredibly sweet.

The wild boar pappardelle was possibly the best thing I ate on my trip to Italy. And the duck pici was a close second. Pizza was also fantastic.

Walking back to the hotel, I was looking for something to eat. This was on the way and peaked my interest. My buddies went to the hotel and I was not going to miss a meal. I tried the chicken cutlet with potatoes, the carbonara, and the calzone. Not really a cutlet judge, but I enjoyed it thoroughly along with the potatoes. The carbonara was fire! Definitely get it as well. The pizza/calzone, was delicious. The "crust" of the pizza is pretty much the calzone part. Amazing. The other half as you can see, pizza. Get the best of both worlds. Delicious flavor.

I visit Florence annually with a group of students, and we always find a place to do a big Florentine steak dinner. This year we had the pleasure of stumbling upon La Carbonata Del Porrati. The ambiance inside was a bit unique, but any hesitations were dispelled when our waiter, Andrea, approached. He was friendly, attentive, made great recommendations, and spoke excellent English. I can't say enough good things about him; he really made our night. Antonio and Abdul were helping out and cooked up some great pasta, sides, and steak. Things were well-seasoned, the bread was salted(!), the wine list was great and affordable, and there was pride in everything they did. I'm a big fan of this place, the food, and especially the people. We'll be back next year!

This place is straight out of a fantasy storybook! From the passionate and warm waiter to the tiny "pet" bird flying around. The server was also extremely welcoming and accommodating. Most importantly, the food was so good that I forgot to take photos of our dishes. A charming and rustic place that you'll want to try. Like most places in Italy, opt to eat inside in the late evenings, only because of the mosquitoes.

Very nice little secret in Florence. They have a garden patio inside a portion covered the other open air. We had the T bone steak Fiorentine with grill vegetables. This is not any common grill is grilled wood and the vegetable are a generous portion. The dish can easily feed 5 people generously. We were 4 and had leftovers. We also had the pasta with duck ragu and a spinach dumpling with ricotta that was so so delicious. Can’t say enough of this hidden gem away from tourist traps. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and had espresso and dessert. We feel that in the US the steak alone . Would have cost so much more because of the quality and that had been aged. We even got to talk to the chef.

We spent 4 days in Florence and found La Carbonata on our first evening. What a beautiful place. Service was friendly, and the food was superb. Dishes took a little time to arrive, which is to be expected with freshly prepared meals. We returned for our last evening and were not disappointed. It is a lovely traditional place where you get to speak with the chef who is very accommodating. We would highly recommend this restaurant. Best steak I have ever eaten.

This was a really nice cozy, local place. It felt transitional and local food. The owner was lovely and helpful. The staff servers were helpful. We didn't really know the food but they guided us and suggested what would be good. We we're rushing for the theatre and wanted food quickly which they delivered. Would go here again for sure. We went twice and both times we enjoyed the food. We tried the wild boar, duck and steak and we we're satisfied with the food quality. This place was reasonably priced. Was only a quick walk for us so it was very convenient. The steak was really well cooked. We wanted it medium and it was, red/pink middle but not bloody. Our first time to try this Florence steak and I think it's an experience.

Discovered this restaurant on our first night in Florence. We had the T-Bone steak to share and a lovely red wine recommended by the waitress. One of the waiters also came over to recommend places to shop and go for breakfast. The food was delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly with lovely fresh vegetables. We also had tiramisu and the biscotti in sweet wine. Very nice atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Make sure to get the Florentine steak. It was the best steak I ever had. It’s big enough for 2 people. You can tell everything is fresh and homemade. The bread is also one of the best bread I had. The staff who I assume are the owners are super nice and welcoming. The chef even checked in on us a few times to make sure we are enjoying our meal. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Florence.

We absolutely loved this cozy restaurant! The owners and waiter were extremely kind and helpful. The Fiorentine T bone was delicious, strongly recommend it, together with the house wine, done by the Porrati family as well! All dishes were so tasty and well prepared and the garden terrace very cozy.

This restaurant was incredible. The food was sensational. We had the butter & sage gnudi (like gnocchi but doughier) and the duck spaghetti both of which were superb. The gnudi sage was crispy and covered in butter. We also had the special recipe beef stew which was honestly one of the best things both of us had ever tried. Beef stew doesn’t do it justice. Our other second course was the grilled pork with sides of potatoes and spinach all of which were delicious. Pudding was tiramisu and chocolate cheesecake. This place is very friendly and welcoming, we weren’t rushed at all with our meal and there is a lovely rear garden. Definitely 16094840% recommend!

Più sostanza e qualità che attenzione al dettaglio. Fin da subito è chiara l'atmosfera casalinga del locale, che ha infatti un forte sapore rustico e trasuda antichità di storia, ma è davvero poco curato. Ho trovato simpatici oltre che cordiali e disponibili sia lo staff che il titolare. Ottimi gli affettati, in merito alle patate al forno invece avrei gradito mi fossero state servite ancora calde o quantomeno tiepide, erano buone ma fredde: bocciate. La carne è prelibata: una bistecca alla fiorentina ricavata da mucche del Mugello, servita dopo 30 giorni di frollatura, la fa da padrone incontrato. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è più che buono

Per festeggiare i miei 100 follower, un traguardo che mi riempie di gioia, vi porto in questo posticino davvero interessante che vi consiglio se passate a trovarmi a Firenze. È un locale molto spartano, ma il cibo è davvero ottimo. Se vi capita, non perdetevi il peposo e i pici all’oca, sono da leccarsi i baffi! Un posto dove la passione per il buon cibo si sente in ogni piatto. Se siete in zona, fateci un salto!

It was a save for us, Saturday night all restaurants specialise with tuscanian food where fully booked, so we searched for a new option far from the centre, it was calm and the staff were nice, we took a starter (Coccoli with prosciutto and stracchino) and two primi, one with cinghiale 🐗 which is wild pork and the other with duck ragu. We also tried the wine. For dessert we took the chocolate cake and the apple cake.

Carino,ma da organizzare meglio. Un po fuori i circuiti turistici,questa trattoria ha un bel giardino dove cenare o pranzare in questo caldissimo luglio. Peccato che sia tutto molto trascurato. Personale assolutamente impreparato. Per ordinare il vino e' stata un'impresa Ho chiesto un calice di rosso e mi viene detto che la sera servino solo a bottiglia.... Grande bugia in quanto ad il tavolo di fianco hanno portato un calice. Vabbe',cibo buono ma per sopperire all' inpacacita' del cameriere magari sarebbe bastato un sorriso. Personale triste e non all'altezza insomma. Pappardelle al cinghiale molto buone e fagioli alla toscana pure. Prezzi nella norma. Rimandato🙂

La nostra esperienza culinaria qui è stata leggermente al di sotto della media e speravo in qualcosa di meglio. Il nostro ospite d'onore ha ordinato la costoletta d'agnello, che era troppo cotta e dura. Siamo arrivati ​​a cena proprio all'orario di apertura, e questo potrebbe aver contribuito a qualche problema di preparazione e al ritardo del cameriere che si è presentato al lavoro per servire gli ospiti. Inizialmente, il proprietario si è preso cura di noi ed è stato molto gentile ed educato. Tuttavia, la grande personalità del proprietario non è riuscita a compensare le bistecche fredde, l'agnello troppo cotto e duro e lo Spritz piatto e poco saporito. Seppur con google map l'ho sorpassata senza accorgermene e forse era meglio. Il cameriere è da formare e istruire mooooolto meglio. La cucina non vale il viaggio, forse anche il cuoco deve rivedere i suoi vecchi appunti, poi il posto che gira il tovagliato per riusarlo e ti obbliga a tenere una tovaglietta all'americana di plasticaccia con gli angoli aperti, non ti da il senso del pulito. Il conto è in linea a tanti altri ristoranti del centro che somo ampiamente migliori. Mi spiace, spero altri possano avere una migliore eserienza.

Certi posti dovrebbero chiudere. Ero solo, nel giardino interno (se così si può definire) del locale c'erano altri 2 tavoli occupati. Ho ordinato un piatto di gnudi e dopo ben 1 ora e 20 minuti è arrivato il mio piatto. Se pur di bell'aspetto erano immangiabili. Fuori mollicci e dentro ancora congelati. Un'esperienza terrificante. Ovviamente scontrino non fiscale, ma non facciamo i fiscali.

Siamo stati in questo locale lo scorso fine settimana, venerdì. Forse ammaliati dalle recensioni positive su Google. È stata una esperienza decisamente pessima. Il locale, appena entrati, si presentava già di per sé poco invitante. Un lungo corridoio dal quale sbucavano più stanze. Ci hanno fatto sedere in una stanza sulla destra, i tavoli erano apparecchiati con delle tovagliette di plastica semi scollate ed il cameriere, nel mentre ci accingevamo a decidere la nostra cena, si cimentava a pulire le tovaglie monouso con uno straccio, senza cambiarle. In tutto questo indossava un grembiule nero veramente sporchissimo, quasi come se avesse cucinato lui. Tuttavia era gentile. Arrivano i piatti: il tagliere iniziale non era cattivo, peccato servito senza un tozzo di pane come il resto della cena. I primi invece non erano buoni, il sugo era molto molto acquoso. Li abbiamo lasciati lì. Quando siamo andati a pagare, in una stanza di fronte quella dove abbiamo cenato, abbiamo avuto modo di vedere l'affettatrice, vicino la cassa, anche quella sporca. Purtroppo, non è stata una buona esperienza!
