Bellissima scoperta! Abbiamo iniziato con un tagliere con prodotti di altissima qualità. Come primo, le pappardelle al cinghiale erano squisite e la porzione decisamente abbondante. Il tutto accompagnato da un vino di loro produzione davvero fantastico. Menzione speciale per il tiramisù: una vera eccellenza, tra i migliori mai provati. Personale educatissimo e molto accogliente. Torneremo sicuramente!

Questo è un posto in cui si può andare con fiducia sempre.. e soprattutto non delude e non cambia negli anni..Sui piatti e sulle capacità delle sue gentilissime e professionali Proprietarie, così come della Signora Angela , rimane poco da dire, se non che si tratta di una vera eccellenza locale.. Consigliatissimo!!

Locale super accogliente e tipico, le ragazze che ci hanno accolto sono state gentilissime e disponibili. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto con salumi e crostini abbondanti e buonissimi. (Soprattutto quello tartufo e fagioli) I primi erano abbondanti e saporiti, ma il pezzo forte è stato il tiramisù, davvero buonissimo. Sicuramente ci torneremo, vista anche la posizione super comoda a 2 passi da piazza del Signoria :)

Un locale in centro a Firenze dove gustare la cucina toscana senza essere spennati ( prezzi onesti per la qualità offerta ) . Abbiamo optato per le Tagliatelle al cinghiale il sugo era davvero buono , ottimi anche i Tagliolini al tartufo davvero buoni anche l odore. Consiglio invece per il finale i cantucci con vin santo. Torneremo sicuramente ciao a presto.

Trovato per caso ma è stata una vera fortuna! Cibo ottimo, personale che dire gentile è dire poco, ho mangiato da solo ma mi hanno comunque fatto sentire in compagnia. Ambiente splendido. E prezzo per essere in centro a Firenze super ottimo.

In the centre and very affordable! Food is from Tuscany, and staff is very nice! They have the dish of the day but pappardelle al cinghiale is definitely something to try 😊 very raccomanded..I'll be back!

This was my favourite place we ate in Italy. The food was incredible - very authentic and so tasty. The restaurant had an incredible charming vibe to it. The staff were lovely and they worked very quickly to move the line along to get us a table. They did not stop working for a second! Can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be going back when next in Florence!

A modest exterior, but the kitchen is the shop window. Run by Laura and Lucia, who greeted me with a warm “prego”, it felt the right place to begin my first Florence meal in years. Tagliolini al tartufo was their unhesitating recommendation: pasta cut and cooked perfectly, the sauce buttery and fragrant with truffles – 9.5/10. Lampredotto followed: Florence’s tripe dish, born of cucina povera. Robust, slightly heavy on seasoning, but balanced by unsalted bread and a bright salsa verde. Authentic cooking with real heart.

YOU NEED TO GO. Went here 7 years ago and it was the best risotto I’ve ever had. Went again recently and it was the best gnocchi and tiramisu I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for completely homemade, authentic Italian food, Osteria Buongustai is your place.

This place is proof that you don’t have to spend a bunch of money in good food. I have spent an average of $60 dollars per meal going to fancy places and finding that this little place has better food than all those fancy restaurants I’ve tried here in Italy. If you want food that taste like it was done by an Abuelita, this is the place. From the service to the meal, they deserve a better rating!

Visited in a day trip to Firenze, ended up here on the recommendation of a kind older local gentleman after he saw we were lost and trying to help us find the restaurant our friend wanted to go to (but he didn't know it) and it was AMAZING! My husband had a panini and I had the gnocchi and pesto that was on the daily menu and oh my God it was the most beautiful pesto I've ever had or could even dream of! The picture as after a few bites because it smelled so good I lost all sense and started eating right away. The local told us to go early (around noon) because by 1 it would be filled with locals on lunch, and he was right! It was packed when we left and had a few local families eating when we arrived. 10/10 will go back. I spent 10 minutes on google maps just to find it again to write this review and save it for my next trip to Firenze.

We visited Buongustai twice - amazing each time! There is a lovely list of daily specials each day which makes it difficult to choose from! Definitely worth a visit (or two) just to get the chance to try as many things as possible. It can get a bit busy at times but service is super efficient. Keep an eye out for the home-made desserts, not to be missed.

This is a very hard review to write. We are Florence locals, and we love this place and don’t want it to get too busy :) But am afraid the cat is out of the bag already! Three lovely ladies run this small osteria. The food is amazing, the prices are the best in Florence and the service is great. A bit squishy inside and you may have to wait for a table, but it’s worth a visit.

It’s a gem! Such a tasteful, local food served by lovely ladies. I got a tomato salad and two different bruschettas - beans with truffle cream & grilled veggies with cheese. Everything tasted excellent. Gets busy during lunch time

Absolutely, undeniably the best meal I have ever had. The queue ran all the way out of the door and for good reason. When you step in there's a kitchen behind a glass wall where you can see these two amazing chefs absolutely smashing service. They must see a couple of hundred covers each lunch but it's like watching a well oiled machine. We ordered the bruchetta with tomatoes and olive oil, and the truffle spaghetti and risotto with prawns. Genuinely the best food I have ever had in my life. This place should have a Michelin star so it's probably worth going soon otherwise you'll never get a table!

Cozy place with lovely decorations! Love the atmosphere. Truffle spaghetti was heaven! Spinach and cheese gnocchi is also good! Salad is very fresh! And price is very cheap ! The tiramisu looks so good but we were so full, planning to go back tomorrow :)

The restaurant was small and cosy. And it smelled amazing as soon as you step in it. The selection of food wasn’t a lot, but it was all very delicious. Each dish was €10-12, reasonable priced for the quality of food. Highly recommended.

Un posto come una volta ! Antipasti buoni e trippa … metteteci un quintal uno di formaggio come da tradizione ! cheese cake molto buono ! Non andate con aspettative gourmet , un posto storico in cui si va da anni e la cucina è casalinga , come anche il prezzo . Cucina a vista , pochi posti e spesso ci si siede proprio nel tavolo accanto ad altri . Lo consiglio per un salto nel passato .

Il posto è un piccolo localino all'antica, dove si possono assaggiare piatti tipici della tradizione. Abbiamo cominciato con un tagliere di crostini misti, molto buono , per poi assaggiare un piatto di trippa alla fiorentina, con il formaggio era la morte sua e una crep con bresaola, brie e noci. Il prezzo è onesto. L'unica nota dolente dell'esperienza riguarda il pagamento, infatti erano sprovvisti di pos. Per il resto davvero molto soddisfatto.

A very traditional Italian restaurant with traditional interior decor. The food portions are quite big, but I think the taste is very average. We had the fried veggies, hamburger panini and tripe in tomato sauce. Highly recommended if you want to try some real homemade meals in a restaurant.
