Piccolo locale a 5 minuti dal centro, ben tenuto e curato. Buoni i primi e buoni i secondi di carne, prezzi altini, ma prenotando con thefork si ha uno sconto 30%! Consigliato!

Esperienza più che positiva. Ci siamo presentati di sabato sera senza aver prenotato e per giunta, anche con notevole furia (dovevamo andare a Teatro), ma ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e cordialità senza fare problemi. Il titolare davvero gentile ed educato, impeccabile nel suo mestiere. Cibo di qualità notevole, tutto buono dall'antipasto al dolce. Lo consiglio vivamente.

I’ve never had such an amazing steak. My wife and I split the 8 week dry aged Florentine t-bone. I was hesitant at fist because of the high price tag…how could a steak be worth this much?!? But let me tell you…it was like no steak I’ve ever tasted. The meat had a sweetness to it like I’ve never experienced. We also split a tomato soup which was excellent. The service was top notch. At first, I thought the waiter was just trying to talk us into the expensive items, but once the wine, soup, and steak touch our tongues we understood. After requesting the check they offered us complimentary lemoncello and grappa. Great place for a romantic date, honeymoon, or anniversary.

TLDR: A decent place but pricey. The meals are humbly sized, so you'd be taking more than a single dish. Cacio e pepe was good, the carbonara was average (I make a much better one) as the guanciale was wrongly cut and overfried. Tiramisu was nit bad, but also not the best I had. The service is great and the atmosphere too.

We got the risotto con guanciale and the rib eye steak with roasted potatoes, both the best we've ever had. The desserts were also amazing! Cheesecake is better than any you'll find! Articolato in una sola sala, non molto grande, dispone anche di qualche tavolo nel piccolo dehors all’aperto sulla strada. L’arredamento è di stampo moderno, con qualche elemento che concede qualcosa al classicismo toscano; qualche lacerto di vecchi muri, il bancone del bar realizzato con un mobile in legno che sembra antico, i lampadari in legno e ferro battuto; belli i tavoli in legno e le sedute, con imbottiti, con schienale alto, molto comode; tovaglia e tovaglioli di stoffa, bicchieri di cristallo; L'accoglienza è buona, il servizio cortese e puntuale. La proposta culinaria predilige i piatti della tradizione tipica toscana, la carta dei vini, in prevalenza toscani, è discreta, anche con alcune proposte “al calice. Si comincia, a volerlo, con gli antipasti a base principalmente di formaggi, affettati e verdure, a seguire, primi, come già detto, della tradizione toscana – non mancano, ovviamente, tagliatelle e pappardelle al ragù di vario tipo. Come secondo, tagli di carne vaccina o suina; grigliata o stufata, ma anche cacciagione. Il prezzo è accettabile, tutto considerato.

Locale accogliente e caratteristico vicino a Piazza Santa Croce, ideale per una cena toscana con piatti ben fatti e materie prime di qualità. Molti clienti lodano pici, bistecca alla fiorentina, tartare e piatti con tartufo, serviti con buona presentazione e gusto. Il servizio è generalmente cortese e attento e l’atmosfera è piacevole anche per una serata tranquilla o una cena con amici o coppia.

We made reservations through The Fork. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Servers were cheerful and accommodating. Our Italian is limited but the staff all spoke English well. Wine by the glass was very reasonable. As a first course, we split the risotto with asparagus which was delicious. We also had the lamb chops. The chops were small but good; just enough with the side of roasted potatoes. The salmon filet was nicely broiled with a side of asparagus. Overall, good food for the money. Cena di capodanno, un furto. Entré minuscola di tartare con tartufo Antipasto con solo formaggi nient altro, nel menù veniva indicato fossero di grotta. Indipendentemente da questo che poteva essere vero, fare un antipasto di soli formaggi è stomachevole, avrei messo qualche marmellatina di fianco e dei grissini qualsiasi cosa, ma era davvero troppo. Sono stati aggiunte due fragole di numero e del miele con delle noci sbriciolate. Non si poteva mangiare tutto. Come primo dei paccheri che erano molto buoni con tartufo e salsiccia. Secondo della carne scottata buona con sempre del tartufo. Dolce abbastanza buono cheesecake al limone. Il vino cercato su Internet la stessa bottiglia del 2022 11 € preso al ristorante 35… il totale di questo menu è stato di 110€ capisco che a capodanno si rincara. Però quello che abbiamo mangiato non li vale assolutamente. Detto questo penso che alla carta si mangi bene perché le altre recensioni sono buone. Se dovete andarci per un pranzo o una cena secondo me vale la pena fermarsi. Consiglio di cambiare l’arredamento o comunque sistemarlo perché basterebbe poco per alzare la qualità. Sembra di stare in un ristorante per turisti se sistemate qualcosa potreste attirare molti più clienti.

Abbiamo scelto questo posto in base alle recensioni ma purtroppo ha deluso molto le nostre aspettative. Abbiamo preso solo una fiorentina in due (tra l'altro la fiorentina da 60 euro al kilo sul menù non era disponibile, per cui abbiamo ordinato quella da 80 euro al kilo) che è costata 136 euro ed era troppo cotta, troppo salata e risultava stopposa. Anche le patate erano poche e cotte male. Insomma, non lo consigliamo a chi è amante delle buone fiorentine come noi.

Food was great an ordered Wild Boar Ragu Pasta (x2 - €15 each) for myself and my cousin, along with a truffle Ravioli dish (16€) that the waiter recommended us, and a sparkling water (€4.50) with no tap water available. A nice vibe, no one was in the restaurant on a Saturday night which was interesting, portions were relatively small, leaving us still hungry at the end. Upon asking for the cheque, the waiter provided us the receipt, and to my shock it said €61.50. I asked the waiter why, and he said it was Coperto or “cover charge” of €8 per person which is outrageous. There was no where on the menu stating this, and it’s absolutely disgusting to see a restaurant do this to tourists. A typical cover charge in Italy for reference is about €1-3 at most, so this is blasphemous.

To celebrate the last day of 2024, I visited with a friend at 7:30 PM and ordered T-bone steak (medium) & shrimp risotto. The T-bone steak was written as 100 euros/1kg, but since it was for 2 people, it was later printed as 150 euros on the receipt. They didn't even tell me that 2 people would get 1.5kg. First of all, the steak was tough even considering it was medium. The risotto wasn't my taste, but it wasn't tasty. Actually, tastelessness is subjective to my taste, so I didn't want to write a review. But.. While eating the steak, I saw something like plastic, so I told them, and the staff picked up a bag of chips next to the bread and asked if that was what was in it. We were upset at that. Later, another employee came and said that the fat in the meat had hardened and turned into something like plastic. Of course, that could be because of the nature of the meat, but I felt unfriendly in the way they treated us. It was the most disappointing restaurant I've ever been to in Europe.

Locale carino e cibo buono. I ragazzi sarebbero anche gentili peccato che il titolare alla cassa riesca a rovinare un’intera cena con i suoi modi indisponenti e ottusi. Alla nostra richiesta di poter avere due fatture, essendo due titolari di aziende diverse, la risposta è stato categoricamente “No, non posso per politica aziendale” dovevate chiederla prima” e quindi tu potevi scriverlo all’ingresso o dovresti cominciarlo prima che venga effettuato l’ordine, caro signore di Tirana, penso tra me e me, e ancora peggio “Io le fatture le pago”. Come se tutte le altre aziende invece non le pagassero. Un chiaro invito a non tornare. In nessun ristorante in Italia mi è mai capitata una cosa simile. Ottusità, l’unica spiegazione è questa.
