Una certezza, frequento il Pinolo dai tempi dell'università, mi facevano il prezzo che riuscivo a pagare. Sono stato via 10 anni e tornato a Firenze ho trovato lo stesso ambiente, stesso personale salvo qualche elemento in cucina. Non c'è un numero di stelle adeguato ma lo consiglio se si vuole un ambiente casalingo e umano.

If you’re in Florence and craving a tasty, no-fuss lunch, Ristorante Pizzeria Il Pinolo is a must-try. We ordered the Antipasto Pinolo (fried meatballs with cream and cheese) and it was absolutely delicious. The meatballs were crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the creamy cheese sauce was rich without being heavy. We also had the Cotto e Funghi pizza (ham and mushrooms), and it was perfect. Thin, crisp base with generous toppings and just the right amount of cheese. To end the meal, we had Nutella Panna Cotta which was exquisite! The service was great too! Staff were friendly, quick, and welcoming. Definitely a spot to satisfy your stomach if you want a solid, satisfying meal in Florence.

Hidden gem. Looked quiet, but people were sitting in the air-conditioned area to the rear as it was very hot outside. I'm glad we went in. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic at very reasonable prices. Recommend the spaghetti scoglio and the tagliatelle bisque.

Ordered take away pizzas both nights of our stay in Florence. Friendly service, incredibly good prices (8 euro pizza) and VERY tasty pizzas. On the second night, the chef even invited my son to come and assist in making his pizza (which he most willingly did!). Such a lovely gesture that has created a lasting memory and unique experience. Warm, friendly, welcoming experience overall. Thank you Il Pinolo!!

This was our first meal after arriving in Florence and it was superb. We chose meals from the daily specials, mixed meat skewers with fried potatoes in a cream sauce and rigatoni in a bacon and tomato sauce. The flavours were exceptional and the bill came to €24! You should try it.

This is the first place we stopped on our two week trip and was hands down our favorite dinner in Florence. We felt right at home here. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was outstanding and fresh, everything was perfect. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you want something authentic and a little quieter.

Very delicious and flavorful food, I loved the pici pasta pinolo and the vegetarian pizza so much. Staff and owners were also so kind and friendly, even if we were foreign tourists. We only regret that we weren't able to return on our last day, but we will be sure to eat here again when we return to Florence! Definitely recommend eating here.

Delicious, delicious food for an amazing price 💓 Came here two nights in a row. For the first night, we had the carbonara, margherita pizza, mixed salad, and the pici del pinolo. The second night, we had spaghetti alla vongole (not on the menu!), another margherita pizza, the peposo del pinolo (beef stew with garlic, pepper, and red wine - from the second course menu), and their homemade tiramisu. Of course, we had to get coffee too (espresso, americano). Would absolutely recommend the pizzas (divine! the crusts had me salivating + wood-fired oven), the beef stew (so many peppercorns stewed to perfection - not too hard nor soft) and tiramisu (a little sweeter than those in Venice). The pici del pinolo deserves a special mention as well. The staff were very polite, sweet, and helpful when we were unsure of the menu, and checked in on us in case we needed anything else. The restaurant definitely caters more to locals - the staff recognised and chatted to many of the regular customers. They're definitely fluent in English as well (the staff could translate very well!), so if you'd like a more local taste for an affordable price, definitely come here. It's a little out of the way, but worth the visit in my opinion! Thank you so much! 💓 Edit: Hefty portions too!

Best pizza and pasta we tasted in Florence. The antipasto platter was a work of art. Prices were reasonable. We visited 3 times and on subsequent visits we were welcomed warmly by the staff. You will not go hungry after a meal here. You have to try this restaurant. Pure Italian quality.

Abbiamo scelto questo luogo perché è a due passi dal "Bella Ciao Firenze" e cercavamo un posto in cui cenare che fosse, appunto, non troppo lontano e che servisse piatti italiani (avendo già mangiato altre specialità nei giorni precedenti). Sin dell'accoglienza sono stati molto gentili e ci hanno lasciato accomodare ad un tavolino che aveva una piacevole vista sul tradizionale forno a legna a lavoro. In due, abbiamo ordinato un piatto di pici alla norcina e un piatto di penne al pesto, un contorno di patate al forno e, alla fine, una porzione di panna cotta ai frutti di bosco (+ due bibite in lattina). Prima che arrivassero i piatti, hanno portato i classici condimenti aggiuntivi (olio, aceto balsamico, ecc) e un abbondante cestino di pane. L'attesa per ricevere i primi è stata giusta e nella norma, ma siamo rimaste sorprese dalla dimensione dei piatti: la pasta era veramente buona, ma davvero molto abbondante... Mi è dispiaciuto non riuscire a finirla tutta perché i pici erano proprio buoni, ma purtroppo ad un certo punto ero piena. In ogni caso, alla fine ci hanno anche permesso di dividere il conto pagando separatamente. Complessivamente siamo uscite soddisfatte.

Un buon ristorante, i piatti buoni e abbondanti, servizio buono i camerieri disponibili e simpatici, atmosfera molto tranquilla e amichevole. Rapporto qualità prezzo buono...mi è piaciuto molto ci ritornerò senz'altro.

Menù vario e semplice , una location molto familiare con uno staff molto simpatico e gentile, prezzi modici ad una buona qualità!! Da ritornarci sicuro!

Abbiamo cenato con L ‘offerta the fork . Personale cortese ed ambiente piacevole , buoni sia gli antipasti misti che le pizze e le porzioni sono abbondanti , prezzo molto economico grazie anche all ‘offerta . Lo consiglio . Unica nota i tempi del servizio un po’ troppo lenti , ma il ristorante era super pieno !!!

E' stata una cena improvvisata, non sapendo dove andare su The Fork ho trovato questo locale in zona con lo sconto del 30%. Non c'ero mai stata e devo dire che son rimasta contenta. il locale interno è molto grande e la pizza è ottima e i prezzi buoni!

Premetto che ci vado solo per pausa pranzo per cui utilizzo solo i menù di lavoro ma sono molto gentili e corrtesi

We had a dinner on our very first night in Florence at this Restaurant followed by take away orders multiple times in later days. Pizza is a clear winner - and Pizza chef Mimo is very friendly. He prepared vegetarian pizza for us paying attention to all minute details. Very fresh and yummy pizza. Four cheese pasta was specially made for my daughter and she simply loved it. Service was okay. One middle aged madam - who might be probably an owner was welcoming however the young man who sits at payment counter - again probably an owner - could have been friendly with all customers from any country or race. (Said that, he was professional and that is also a rare thing in Italy!) I would definitely recommend this place for excellent food with no great expectation for service. And dear Mimo, Grazie! You made our Florence stay memorable with your Pizzas.

Premetto che sono andato per pranzo una settimana intera con alti e bassi: il voto è l'esatta media tra il "molto buono" alle pizze ed alle insalatone, buone ed abbondanti, e lo "scarso" dei piatti del giorno della cucina, abbondanti per carità ma piuttosto scandenti in qualità, primi a volte buoni altre volte anonimi, sui secondi più bassi che altro....spesa relativa...accettano buoni pasto...da provare per cena...
