This was our first visit to The Pie Factory. As someone who has cooked in Italian and Mediterranean restaurants, I am very hesitant to try pizza joints... and also very critical. Additionally, as a wheat allergy sufferer, it is difficult to find good pizza that is also gluten free. So, for anyone in the Florence area, this is a fantastic pizza option, even if you eat gluten free!! We ordered the Philly Phanatic pizza (with Roma tomatoes added) with GF crust. My son even thought the crust was better than most regular thin crust pizza, which is his preferred crust type. This was one of the best non-red sauce pizzas I've had in years. High quality ingredients that were very balanced in flavor. We also shared an order of the James Brown hot wings. While being a traditional Buffalo-style hotsauce flavor, the wings were exceptional because they were grilled and then baked. This created a great flavor and texture under the hotsauce. The service was also amazing. The waitress was very friendly and thorough, and the food came out quickly. The decor is tasteful and distinct without being overwhelming. We will definitely be visiting this place again in the future whenever we are in Florence.

The food was good and fresh. My kids enjoyed eating there as well. It has some tavern vibes going on which added to the experience.

This place is delicious! I made myself sick eating too much because I didn’t want to see any of it go to waste. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and the best pizza around! 10/10 recommend. I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was top notch! The live music they had while we were there was good as well. Friendly guy.

Our waitress was so sweet, the food tasted amazing, the aesthetic was awesome, I love it here ! The prices were perfect for a date night, and they have a lot more options then what I managed to get in the photos.

Tasty and delicious pizza. We ventured out of our comfort zone and tried the Just Peachy pizza. Fun atmosphere, I love the ambiance of the old building. The Florence location is in a college setting so beware if you want to avoid coeds and go there if you want to be around them ha! Just Peachy consisted of an olive oil glaze, grilled pork tenderloin &; California peaches with spinach, mozzarella and feta cheeses. It was happiness in every bite. My boyfriend hesitated and almost doubted my choice but after eating several slices he admitted defeat. I'm pretty sure he even apologized for ever doubting my selection, so I consider that a win!

The pizza was amazing I just couldn't eat it all. The 256 award winning pizza won an award with me. Our waitress Lauren was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested a BlackBerry Cider and informed us that we could split our pizza with two types. She even split our check with no problem at all.

Great pizza. I got a chicken, bacon, and ranch pizza and it was very good. The peach pizza is also delicious. Our waiter could have been more attentive. We waited a very long time for our bill and some to go boxes.

The food was very savory and good, I think the serving sizes could be bigger for the price but it was super good. I had the Roma calzone and the cheese was very good, the marinara wasn't too sweet and the texture of the innards of the calzone were just lovely. All around a great experience and on top of that the atmosphere was very cozy and the customer service was ideal, the servers were friendly and the food came out quickly. I hope I didn't give the impression it was pricy because I just spent 11 dollars for myself and the person I was with spent the same, so for the experience and delicious food I'd say it's worth it. I will definitely be returning here and would recommend people in the area go here.

we were in town for graduation and went here in a friday night. we had a party of 6 and were seated quickly. the host was friendly and our server was helpful and professional. she didn’t really check in on us that often so there were times where we had empty glasses. we ordered the muscle shoals pizza, cheesy bread, wings, and bread with pesto dip. the cheesy bread was probably the best part of the entire meal. the dough was all you want in a good pizza base and a delicious cheesy and garlic top. the pizza itself was good but not great (16inch). i think they just stretched out the dough and it became like a thin pizza and the dough texture was more crispy which is good, but i also want that thick doughy crust. the toppings were good but there were some inconsistency with the melting of the cheese. some were more caramelized than other parts. the wings were pretty good but it was just grilled wings drenched in sauce. nothing really special but still tasty. i wish they just had a crunch. the biggest let down of the meal was the pesto dip appetizer. it was just what seemed like bread and pesto from the store and they put that on a plate. it just wasn’t good and we didn’t really touch it after a few bites. overall, our meal was just okay. i didn’t enjoy it as much as the others at the table but id come again to try other items on their menu.

Went here last night and the pizza was burnt on bottom to where that's all I could really taste (we got a large pepperoni) other than that the toppings were good just the burnt taste overpowered the whole thing

This place has the WORST PIZZA AND WINGS I’ve ever eaten in my life. I rarely, (almost never) leave reviews about anything, and I try not to be negative. Let me start by saying my service (server) was great and the staff were very friendly. I ordered wings and a small personal pizza. The wings are grilled, as in burnt to a crisp on the grill, they tasted awful, I literally ate a couple and got the rest to go to feed to a stray cat that comes up to my house. The pizza I ordered wasn’t much better, it barely had anything on it (for the price) it felt like a huge rip off. The taste was bland and almost had like a kitchen sink, soapy taste to it. Again, I ate a slice or two, got the rest to go to feed to stray animals that live around my house. This place should and could be SO MUCH BETTER. They need new management and a better kitchen staff, bar and server staff seem to be doing great but the food was disgusting. And not that it matters that much but my bill was $36 before the tip, that was hard to swallow too since I was barely able to eat the food, disappointed to say the least and will probably not ever go back. Be warned.

We waited over an hour for our party to receive the food we ordered. They told us something happened in the kitchen. It took 30 plus minutes to get a glass of wine or beer. When I got my summer berry salad, after waiting 45 minutes, the grilled chicken tasted like pepper. It was terrible. I told my waitress. She said you are the second person to tell me that. I did not eat my salad. She said she would tell someone. I thought they might remove it from my bill since it was not edible. They did not. I eat at the location in jasper a lot. This location was a disappointment.

The pizza was dry as a bone. Worse than a decent frozen pizza and costs three times as much as one. Rarely have I felt such disappointment in my life than when opening the box to gaze upon this pie. Getting a flat tire is a better experience. As a side note - all suggestions led to a chance of delivery but it was not an option. Obnoxious.
