Excellent restaurant in Riale. Excellent cuisine, excellent wines, and friendly, helpful service from the owner and staff. The Formazza Valley offers a multitude of trekking opportunities and opportunities to discover enchanting places in the winter. It's a beautiful place for cross-country skiing, ski mountaineering, and even ice climbing when the cold is intense.
WHAT A WONDER! I'm speechless, so to speak. I've rarely felt so comfortable in a restaurant. 5 stars for everything: the service was friendly and helpful, the dishes were beautifully presented and of high quality. The location, with truly picture-perfect autumn colors. There are so many of you, a wonderful surprise, well done.
We stayed on Saturday, October 11th, and Sunday, October 12th. The dinner and breakfast buffet were delicious. The waiter was very kind and explained all the dishes to us in an exemplary manner. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The only flaw in the bathroom was that there was only one bar of soap for two. The hydromassage shower had no shower gel...nothing...anyway, congratulations to all the staff...we will definitely be back.
I stop with customers every time I go on a mountain bike tour. Availability, friendliness, and quality are some of the strengths of this welcoming restaurant. Furthermore, last time, we needed to charge the batteries of a couple of e-bikes, and the kind staff member immediately found us a plug to plug in. Thank you :-)

Did not stay overnight, rather had a Great Outdoor Lunch. 5 star to the Bettelmatt + Pumpkin dish.
Nice place. Fresh air. We came from 34C to 17C. We have had some panini to eat, beers, tea e.a. brought by a keen and funny looking waiter, with 1930's style mustache... there was also a very polite and nice Romanian waitress, willing to help. The food was well cooked and tasty.... And the views.... Mhmmmm!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!! 😍
Delicious food, very friendly and professional service.
Great food and drinks. Very relaxing after a nice walk around Lake. Started with a series of appetizers then finished off with a nice pasta. Especially nice with the strudel for dessert.
Must try the Caesar salad! Best I ever had.
Had a really nice home made sandwich with home backed bread, walnut, local lard (kind of bacon...milder and with little meat) and gorgonzola.

Food Top Quality, beautiful cosy rooms if you staying overnight
The restaurant has a Michelin reccomendation and it is well deserved. Great food, delicious tiramisu, super friendly staff and an amazing view, surrounded by all the high mountains. Sit back, relax and have a great meal.

We only ate at the restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Revisited traditional dishes and more. Well cooked and presented, very good. At lunch, the selection is more limited than on the evening menu. The potato soup, which is actually a cream soup, wasn't satisfying; the stuffed guinea fowl was excellent; the pasta rustia was excellent; the traditional potato pie was good. The leavened cake is a sort of panettone, good. The wait times are long/very long, but the positive thing is that everything is homemade and most of the dishes are made fresh.
Great sandwich and beer.
The Walser Schtuba is beautifully located with a sunny terrace. Service was not overly friendly though and I was quite disappointed by the food: prices are high, portions small and the tagliatelle with porcini tasted very bitter.
