Opinions de Catch & Cut Fort Lauderdale
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10‑Star Review for Catch and Cut – Fort Lauderdale My wife and I had an absolutely outstanding experience at Catch and Cut, and it was all thanks to Mindy and Lauren. These two ladies made our night unforgettable from start to finish. Their recommendations were stellar—truly phenomenal. We tried so many dishes, and every single one was a hit. Mindy and Lauren worked with incredible efficiency and professionalism, yet still made everything feel warm, personal, and fun. They both know the menu by heart, and it shows in the confidence and care they bring to every suggestion. These two ladies are absolute diamonds, and they deserve recognition and praise for the exceptional service they provide. Their hospitality gave my family a night to remember. Standing ovation from all of us—thank you, ladies! Amazing food, amazing staff, and the wine was perfect. We enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend!
Fantastic restaurant! The menu is excellent, ranging from fresh seafood and sushi to juicy steaks. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food presentation is beautiful, and the service is outstanding. Definitely five stars, a brilliant spot in South Florida!
We recently hosted a group event at Catch & Cut and couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the service was exceptional and the food was absolutely top-notch. Our group was provided with a beautiful private area, which made the experience feel seamless and exclusive. A special shout-out to Lindsay, the Director of Events, whose excellent planning made everything effortless. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and thoughtful—ensuring every detail was tailored to our needs. The team’s flexibility with last-minute changes was greatly appreciated, and the customization options made it easy to create the perfect experience for our group. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a group reservation or special event.
My wife and I had a phenomenal experience at Catch& Cut. From the lovely woman, who greeted us at the door, to our server, Carlos, the entire team was very attentive. The atmosphere was inviting with white linens, modern lighting and comfortable booths. The food was incredible. We began with one of their sushi rolls, as recommended by our server. We then enjoyed the Black Grouper and Sea Bass, both were prepared to perfection. All of the seafood was fresh and flavorful. It is important to note that all main entrees are served a la carte, regardless, we felt that the pricing was appropriate for the quality of the food. We are looking forward to our next visit.
We had such a wonderful date night at Catch and Cut. Our server, Daniel, was incredibly kind and attentive. He knew the menu inside and out and made sure all of my gluten-free/celiac needs were taken care of without hesitation. He also made my boyfriend feel extra special for his birthday, which meant a lot. His recommendation of the crab salad was spot on—it was the perfect start to our meal. Truly a great experience!
Hidden jewel sitting in the middle of Las Olas. This is such a beautiful location with upstairs and downstairs seating. The food and its presentation were great. We ordered the seafood tower, pemaquid black mussels, crunchy spicy tuna roll, and Crab cakes.
Catch & Cut has been on my list for some time now. Found a perfect excuse to check it out when I met up with my fellow Yelp Elite friend Meri S. We caught their happy hour on a Friday afternoon. Happy Hour is at the bar only Monday-Friday @ 4-6pm. Discounted prices for appetizers & wine. 25% off signature cocktails. Catch & Cut is located in the heart of Downtown Las Olas. Meri was waiting at the bar downstairs when I arrived. The downstairs dining room felt so formal, almost stuffy. We opted to head upstairs where it was more of a lounge and chill vibe. We sat at the Balcony Bar with an amazing view of Downtown Las Olas. Ana was our bartender at the Balcony Bar and she was just the CUTEST!!! She had the BEST personality. So much personality. Very bright and bubbly. Let me just tell you, she can sell you the whole menu and you probably wouldn't decline. Lol. This girl needs to be in SALES!!! This is everything we ordered: * Honeydew IT $12.75 * Promising Paradise $12.75 * Mini Tuna Tacos $15.00 * Grouper Ceviche $12.00 * Dip Trio $20.00 Everything was fabulous! Cocktails were on point. Appetizers were super fresh and tasty. Ambiance was so nice upstairs at the Balcony Bar. Service was stellar. Promising Paradise cocktail was what I ordered. Absolut Vodka shaken with house made lychee lemongrass cordial, Pierre Ferrand yuzu liquor & fresh lemon juice. So refreshing! Meri and I shared the appetizers and everything was really good. My favorite was the Mini Tuna Tacos, the cilantro aioli and mango salsa was so yummy! Happy hour prices are fair. Food & drink quality was there. You cannot beat the view upstairs at the Balcony Bar. Go see Ana and tell her how much we hyped her up! Good times. Would definitely come back!
I had an excellent dinner at Catch & Cut and was pleased to have Daniel as our server for the evening. I had an 8:30 reservation but showed up about 10 mins early and was seated promptly. Daniel kept our glasses filled and all of our food arrived at the same time…. Everything was delicious!! The land and sea roll was great, our bone in ribeye was perfect and we opted for potatoes au gratin and creamed spinach as our sides, which we thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend this spot for a nice date night near Las Olas!
We had a great experience at Catch & Cut a few months ago. We arrived for Happy Hour and sat at the bar. The space is very inviting, feels fresh and modern, the lighting is well done and the food aromas were tempting. We ordered a glass of wine and there were several good choices for wines by the glass. We also ordered a mocktail that the bartender was willing to make upon request. The only complaint is that we were only 1 of 2 couples seated at the bar and it took a very long time to get our drinks and served. We ordered Dip Trio $20, Pemaquid Black Mussels $12 and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice $15. All items were very well presented and tasted amazing. Our only observation would be that the Dip Trio although it was good, was not good enough for the $20 price tag. It was simply dips with homemade chips and was not out of the ordinary. That would be our only critique. We loved the space, we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the wine. Congratulations and welcome to Las Olas.
This place is a 12 out of 10. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the food was amazing and Dennis our server is the best we ha e ever had. Ask to sit with Dennis when. You come here. We will again for sure!
Seafoods are really fresh, my Japanese friend said it! Service is good, there are friendly and also explain dishes very well. Some dishes are experimental but it's good and new experience.
Took my husband for his 40th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite! We tried the large and jumbo stone crab, sushi platter (on special), lambchops, lobster mac & cheese, potato au gratin
Consistent high quality service, food, and drinks. The staff is fully focused on meeting our expectations and exceeding them in a ways that's genuine and added value to our experience. Highly recommended. We have been there 3 times with groups ranging from 4 people to 8 people. Time efficient and personalized service. Leave extra time to figure out parking. They do have valet option. Handicapped accessible facility and bathrooms. Beautiful interior. Booths are ideal for conversations
Great restaurant, food, service. We went for birthday dinner party and the menu had happy birthday. That made me feel special. Only fault is busy street Las Olas which they can't control.
Such a great addition to Fort Lauderdale dining. Food was outstanding and Carlos our waiter was amazing and the atmosphere was exquisite.

Catch & Cut located on Las Olas FTL was buzzing on a rainy Saturday night w/a lively, welcoming energy. No doubt by a team that connected with us throughout the evening. Led by Chef Andre (former Chef @ Joe's Stone Crab) sets the tone as a craft master & exudes coolness. General Manager Sherwin cut his teeth at Disney & Vegas, no doubt w/his people skills & attention to detail. Daniel our server was sharp witted w/a great sense of humor...he can roll with the best. We thoroughly savored & enjoyed: *Hamachi jalapeno crudo *Marinated tomatoes/cukes/onion salad *Allen Brothers bone-in ribeye *Chefs catch, tomato beurre blanc crusted snapper w/riced cauliflower. All dishes were executed perfectly, using the finest & freshest ingredients. This was an unforgettable-exceeding our expectations-wanting more...kind of night. Can't wait to return for Stone Crab season!

The food and service is top notch. My friend invited my daughter and I for dinner and it was a spectacular meal. We all enjoyed a well made margarita before dinner. We had appetizers including the lobster corn chowder and land and sea sushi roll that were terrific. Our entrees included sea bass (the best i have ever eaten) and a fantastic perfectly cooked steak. The carrot cake was delicious. The ambiance is just great and we will definitely return very soon.

I brought a friend and a business partner to Catch & Cut this evening because I had spoken highly of the restaurant and was looking forward to a great dining experience. Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to expectations. After being seated, it took approximately 20 minutes before anyone came to our table to greet us or even offer water. We genuinely considered leaving, as we were unsure whether our table had been assigned to a server. When we finally placed our order, I initially planned to order the ribeye. Our waiter strongly recommended the more expensive Kansas City Wagyu New York strip, assuring us it was “much, much better” and that we should definitely order it. Based on that recommendation, we did. The first steak arrived extremely oversalted — to the point that neither of us could eat it. To their credit, the kitchen replaced it. However, the second steak was very chewy, tough, and had a flavor and texture that resembled liver more than a premium cut of beef. It lacked the tenderness and richness one would expect, especially at that price point. I shared my concerns with the waiter, explaining that the steak was tough and disappointing and that we likely would have been better off ordering the ribeye as originally planned. Unfortunately, nothing further was done to address the issue. This was particularly disappointing because I had recommended Catch & Cut and was hosting guests. I understand that any restaurant can have an off night, but between the delayed service and the repeated issues with a highly recommended premium steak, the experience fell well below expectations.
We love this place! The food is amazing and the service is unbeatable! Our waiter, Daniel Lewis made excellent recommendations and seriously gave us the best service ever. We had the Daniel roll , stone crab escargot ( yum!), and then shared our entrees which were the grouper & the bone in filet. Everything was delicious. We even shared the bread pudding which was by far the best I’ve ever had. Honestly , as delicious as everything was the service was what impressed me the most . Will definitely come back and recommend to everyone!!
In town for CFB Championship, Go Hoosiers! From start to finish, Daniel L insured we had a wonderful dining experience! He was personable/engaging! The food was spectacular and fresh! Crab cakes, crab and avocado salad, las olas roll. Key Lime Pie and Home made ice cream for dessert. Definitely recommend
My mother and I came here to celebrate my bachelorette night, and our server, Olivier, was quite attentive and kind. Our water glasses never got past half empty, and everything from the ambience and decorations to the service was simply amazing! The food has generous portion sizes with very fresh ingredients, the only hiccup is that at first, my filet was overcooked, however, it was immediately fixed with a new filet, that was indeed the perfect medium rare. I especially loved that their wedge salad is already chopped up, and Olivier was kind enough to give us complimentary limoncello drinks as well! What a nice evening. It was wonderful.
If I could give 4.5 stars I would. I reserve 5 stars for perfection, but overall extremely impressed with my 1st experience. Hostess was friendly upon greeting us. Carlos, our server, was working hard and busy but made sure to let us know he’d be right with us. He was passionate about the menu and led us to great options. The sommelier was so helpful, friendly, educated and the Chablis was delicious. She gave 3 options in different price ranges instead of pushing the highest price tag. Menu options were diverse without being overwhelmed with options. The crab escargot was chefs kiss. The Sea Bass in a coconut curry reduction was perfectly light yet flavorful. The lobster tail was huge. All of the portions were huge honestly. The blue crab and avocado salad was the only thing I would’ve changed. It was very tasty but would’ve preferred a less mayo-y dressing and added some sort of crusty bread to eat with it. The ambience was lively and fun. Even sitting at a table, when I normally prefer a booth, was very comfortable, tables weren’t overcrowded and seats were comfy, the place was gorgeous, music was fun, yet not too loud. We had a wonderful date night and will definitely be back.

This restaurant is overrated( I rated over 100 restaurants, for Google) The decor is nice The service is excellent. Our server Denis was Pleasant The problem, however, is the food which is average at best The soup was tasteless. My ribeye steak was too salty and too thick This restaurant needs a chef that goes with the Excellent decor and service!
Locals who live on Las Olas here. We’ve eaten over 1000 restaurants and this was one of the worst restaurants we’ve been. We arrived at 7pm. Our entree was ready at 9:13pm. 2 hours wait is unacceptable. The entree was a filet and the lamb chops. Both were cold - after 2 hours wait. The lamb chops were missing half of it from the bone. The side of asparagus never came, even after asking if they’re still coming. It was a long wait, even when asking for the check. The excuse was “it’s our kitchen’s 3rd day on the upper level”. If a restaurant is not ready to serve then it shouldn’t open until it’s ready. Not a single glass of wine was on the house. Just “sorry”. We didn’t complain since they were aware and kept apologizing. We still left 20% but won’t be coming back. $500 bill tip included.
