Cecibon Haitian Restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered the fried goat, mac & cheese, and a passion fruit drink — and everything was absolutely delicious. The fried goat was perfectly seasoned, tender on the inside with just the right crisp on the outside. You can tell it was prepared with care and authentic flavor. The mac & cheese was creamy, rich, and comforting — the perfect complement to the goat. And the passion fruit drink was refreshing, flavorful, and not overly sweet — just right! The portions were generous, the food was fresh, and the overall experience felt warm and welcoming. If you’re looking for real Haitian flavors done right, Cecibon is definitely worth it. I’ll absolutely be back! 🇭🇹✨
First time visiting fort lauderdale. We ordered from Cecibon to go. We typically get Haitian food in NY and this was absolutely comparable and delicious! Would definitely recommend!

I always enjoy my meal Never had any problems. This is my favorite Haitian restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious
The place has good food. No arguing against that. I’ve tried different Haitian restaurants in certain areas of broward and find myself being a repeated customer. I always get the legume cause it’s addictive. My ex always gets the griot which he says is seasoned well. The service can be slow sometimes. The ladies in the front are welcoming and nice overall. I usually call and order ahead of time and my order is always ready upon arrival. If you walk in to order you will be waiting 15-20 min for your meal. Its worth the wait though. The place looks clean but needs some updating and repairs.

I was really looking forward to having Cecibon again after being away from Florida for over 10 years. The pikliz, fried chicken, the diri djondjon, and grito were so flavorful, I could taste my childhood. The service was average and slow, but understandable, there was one person at the counter Saturday afternoon and he was working hard taking and pushing orders non-stop. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a typical Haitian restaurant, nothing to see here, just get the food and go.

This was my first time trying it, the food was great and I ordered Uber eats so I imagine if we ate it in the restaurant it would’ve been even better. It looks like they use basmati rice it was a nice long grain with beans. The fried chicken was delicious. The legume stew type dish was okay, not my favorite but the beef in it was great. The Mac and cheese is different than traditional southern mac, but it wasn’t bad either, maybe a 6/10. All in all it was worth a try and I’d eat here again. The chicken and rice/beans with fried tostones was the best part.
I’ve ordered from Uber eats many times since 2023 started and the food has been consistently good and satisfying. I’ve only had the fried chicken, griot a few times and rice and beans. I always get it quickly. And it has been good every time. If you don’t know what to get, just stick to the chicken. The pikliz is good too. If you don’t like the food then it could be an off day or moment try it again

This was my second time here. The first time no complaints. The second time I ordered through postmates. I wanted rice and peas. I was given a plate of white rice. A very small portion of pork, Bean juice for beans....(no beans). I was very disappointed considering I paid like $15.00! That's expensive rice! No complaints about quality or taste.
The food here is pretty solid but it's a hit or miss. There isn't much consistency in what you're getting. Sometimes they chef it like your momma made the rice and other times them boys just miss completely. Prices and portions are good though. Calling in a order a hour ahead isn't a guarantee that your food will be ready by the time you get their either. Also sometimes you gotta call 2-3x and get put on hold before they finally take your order
Had some problems with my order but they were very nice about it and accommodated. We ordered plantain, fish (tilapia), chicken and griot. To start of, the rice was good, the viand' sauce was very tasty, though very liquid. The plantain was not crunchy because they were cut very thick, that was kind of a dissapointment. The pickliz was decent, a little blend but no regrets ! The griot was nice ! BUT fish and the chicken were a big no no ! Why are they battered and fried ? The extra step was unnecessary. It felt lazily done... Were trying an other place next time
My first time trying their food the chicken was cooked perfectly not dry good taste the macaroni was the worst I have ever had very dry no flavor and it didn't taste fresh like it was some leftover the rice as well had no flavor but cooked good overall I wasn't very happy with this experience the food had no taste except the chicken

This restaurant was recommended to me because I wanted to try Haitian cuisine. The location is ok but it’s a good restaurant. They did mess up our, very big, order. And forgot the black bean soup which is important to complete the meal to give you the authentic complete meal. But I would eat here again.

Just moved to the area recently and I’ve been looking for a good Haitian spot. I ate here a total of 3 times before leaving this review & the 3rd time will definitely be the last time. My stomach is literally aching as I write this. I’ve had the griot & fried plaintains w/ rice (I’ve tried all of their rice) and legume and the taste has been inconsistent each time. Not sure what about the last plate of Legume I had but it was just nasty. Seems like the food is decent on certain days depending on who’s cooking back there. They lack in variety in drinks and They also mess up your order a lot so always double check everything before getting all the way home and realizing that’s not what you ordered especially after waiting so long to get it.
Got my order today 12 chicken legs and 12 plantain price is good $24 but the quality of the chicken is bad looks like refried chicken or expired not recommended
I will Never, never and never go to this restaurant again , I ordered a Tasso turkey the was bad,the turkey looked like trash etc. I wasted my $16 . Who does that ? 🙄🙄
It was the worst Haitian food I ever ate. The rice has no flavor the sauce looks like water, the the other thing that they cut up with cabbage and carrots, was the worst nastiest thing I ever ate, and the food is not prepared properly. And when you call to explain to them, they give you an attitude like you’re supposed to tell them, the food was good when it was not good. Macaroni and cheese. What is the worst. I just wasted my time and my money please if you ever think of going there, don’t go. If anyone go here and eat and say the food is good, it have to be one of their friends or they just don’t know how to cook. Waste of your time waste of your money and waste of your gas driving to that place I don’t even wanna call the name. It’s that place if I could give it a zero instead of a one star, I would give it a zero.
The fish is stank and smell real bad it’s not even cook never ordering here again 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Just received my food it was not fresh and the meat was cold and dried out rice was cold and over cooked I didn’t receive no onions and bell peppers no spices food was horrible I wish I can get my money back
The cashier was acting like he wished he was anywhere but there. The manager was rude and unwelcoming. They were out of pikliz and the chicken was not fresh and the plantain was hard as rocks. I was so disappointed.
I wish I could give less than a star. I called ahead of time and placed an order for 3 people. When I came 20 min later, the lady at the front desk told me it would take 7 to 10 minutes. One hour went by, I asked for an update and she told me they hadn't started with my order yet. I then asked for a refund because I had my toddler with my mother waiting in my car. She then told me, with an attitude that I would have to wait because only the cook knew how to process a refund and he was currently busy cooking the food. I had to wait for an additional 10-15 minutes to get my money back. Please keep in mind that it was 90 degrees outside, and there's no AC inside. I understand that it's a weekend and there's could be a delay in getting orders out, but this is unacceptable.
Such a bad experience this morning. I wish the American manager lady (very sweet and nice) was there everyday to manage this restaurant. She seems to be the only one who understands customer service. The brother of the owner literally price gouged right in front of my face today and didn't care how unprofessional he was talking to me either. I couldn't believe it. He was so rude and disrespectful. This place could be so much better if they wouldn't hire Rude, passive aggressive, disrespectful, unprofessional Haitians. No wonder Cecibon has such a bad rep here in South Florida.
The food here is good just very slow they take too long even if you call them 1hr early they stil don't have your food done. So be prepared to wait for your food

NEVER AGAIN!! I ordered yesterday When I called the lady was SO RUDE for no reason being difficult with me NOW I don’t Know if it was the chicken or rice! But my stomach been upsetting me ever since last night! This never happens to me!
If you are a true Haitian DO NOT EAT there. I’ve ordered there 4 times 3 different meals and I’ve been disappointed every time. They need to hire a new chef, hopefully he/she is a true Haitian. On top of the low quality of the food, the customer service there is horrible. Also the wait is ridiculous, order online and in person took over 45 minutes to get your food. I’m new to the area and LOVE Haitian food so it’s disappointing that I have to find a new place
