This is our second time here at this resort, it's being renovated but we still have a good time. The rooms are nice and the pool is why the kids enjoy their stay. There's a CVS and a winner Dixie across the street which makes it so convenient for any last minute items! Best part is the iguanas that come to first by the pool, what a lovely experience.

We had a good experience with this hotel. It is going through some renos, but overall we don't have any complaints. Well, only a small suggestion to have more towel rack or hooks.

We did not have any issues during the stay. Don’t forget, it’s 3-start hotel and it’s not new but we couldn’t complain about anything. We really enjoyed the heated pool. I’m not pool person but this water was soooo warm and I love it. The other pools were cold but it was cool to have different choices. We also saw 10 iguanas hanging out by the pool and looks like they live there. It’s a tourist attraction! Room was clean and bed was comfy. I would recommend to exchange the towels because they are small and worn out. Honestly, whenever we will in the neighborhood, we will stay in the same hotel because of the pool and iguanas.

What ever you do, DO NOT STAY HERE. The hotel is a shambles due to construction. They wont answer the phone, and it is surrounded by fencing. The cement is dangerously uneven, broken pool, no food or bar. It was a horrible disappointment.

I loved this place; if you're high maintenance but want to enjoy the beach but have a decent size room go for the suites. The hotel has a bit more wisdom on it in comparison to other newer hotels but.the value was incredibly outstanding in my opinion spec if you're open to serving yourself while on vacation. Rooms are relatively standard; I loved my experience with the front desk agents and I had one hiccup and the supervisor Golda (I think, I'm unsure of the correct spelling ); Golda and her staff made up for what the room lacked which I personally think it didn't lack anything, especially if your in sunny Florida basically a a small walk to the beach. I will return in a heartbeat, I didn't swim in the pools because the beach was right there. If I was to gripe about anything it would be the food, there are not many vegan friendly options but there’s food and a nice little strip with bars and restaurants less than a 10 minute drive north and definitely other restaurants within walking distance.

Loved the staff, hotel is located right on A1A close to everything. A cvs is right across the street in case u forget anything or want to buy your own snacks and drinks. There was a nice variety of snacks and drinks in the room as well accessible with prices listed that to me were fairly priced. The front desk was very accommodating and kind. I thought the parking was bad but there is an entire lot to the side of the hotel with lots of parking so I was wrong! I really liked this hotel it’s quaint and if you blink you’ll miss it but it’s very cute. I don’t know why the bar isn’t open by the pool though.

Good budget friendly motel. If your looking for a resort feeling, this isn’t it but if your looking for a comfortable place to sleep at night this will work. Room was small but fine for me and my daughter. It was clean and easy to get to. Parking was very limited. We didn’t use the pool or the bar on site so I have no reviews for with of those things.

Affordable hotel in a nice area, was undergoing some nice looking renovations and rebrand when we were there, but the rooms had already been renovated and looked amazing. The king bedroom with kitchen came with plates, utensils, pots, 2 plate flat stove, microwave nice mini fridge. All in all I recommend this place.

The staff was pleasant and attentive, anything I asked for/about was taken care of promptly. I spent 5 peaceful days here the week of 02/05/24. It looks like they are remodeling some of the units I guess the only negative thing if you want to call it that would be the quality of the workmanship that is going into the remodel, It looks rushed. Just an example would be insufficient/missing grout in the tiles and it felt as there was no cement board under the floor tiles I was afraid I’d crack them just walking across the room. But really I can’t give these guys a bad review because it was worth the price and as soon as they finish construction I think it will be fine. There are a few really great Latin street food shops that are really good especially if you’re into trying new kinds of food. Just stroll down the side streets towards the ocean and you’ll find little gems like that. All in all it was a good trip.

We stayed here on a Friday night and it was pretty good!! The room was nice, the view was decent and was pretty quiet tbh. Will definitely stay here again.

I was honestly a little nervous to stay here after reading some of the reviews, but i could not disagree more with the bad reviews. We had such a great stay here! The staff was all very helpful, we especially loved the bartenders who told us all the places to go. This was my first time booking a hotel, and as a bunch of college girls I was nervous about our safety prior to booking, but everything was very smooth. We stayed in one of the rooms with a kitchen which I would highly recommend. It was very spacious and clean, no bugs or roaches at all. There are a few buildings, each of which has their own pool. Our little villa area was beautiful and clean and safe. I would recommend this because the main pool by the restaurant and bar definitely gets more crowded. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay especially for the price. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Excellent location. We road our electric scooters all down A1A & enjoyed the scenery all around. The front desk girls were so pleasant & helpful, especially Karen. I stopped up our toilet & the maintenance people Mila &Mikhail were so quick to come & unstop it. Housekeeper, Shana, was so sweet & friendly! You can tell everyone enjoys their job. Very good customer service. The pool was beautiful & so refreshing each evening after our beach days. I plan to recommend this hotel to my future out of town guests who visit as well as will stay there again if we need to even though we live locally.

This review is four months late, this place had such an impact on my family and I. We are to do our review today 4 months after the wonderful experience. First and foremost MELISSA you are a wonderful human being. This young lady was so caring and hands on with the guests needs I wish she was working all front desks'. When we arrived I was in the middle of a anxiety attack and she was so understanding and empathetic to my needs. I was comforted and cared for in the most hospitable manner, we will always come back here when visiting South Florida. Next, the bartender Tanya she was absolutely amazing. My grandson could not wait to get to Ms. Tania every morning for breakfast. She treated him as if he was her family as well as the rest of us. WE LOVE YOU TANYA, miss you. Then, let's talk about room service. The rooms were very clean and this was during renovations and the room attendants were not intrusive nor overbearing, they were a joy. Overall, this place should be a 5 star resort due to all the great staff, food, and drinks. This place is conveniently close to the beach and entertainment. In conclusion, we cannot wait to go back and enjoy the renovations and all the different temperature pools they have. See you soon. The Banks Family.

The rooms are superb some of them even have two bedrooms! There’s rooms with a hot tub and ones with full kitchen!! they have four pools an adorable restaurant & the landscaping is gorgeous!! the customer service is exceptional. we are from Florida and we absolutely adore this hotel we truly look forward to when we can just stay again just to relax. the location is prime, no complaints whatsoever. clean room, great room service. Here right now and enjoying it . Let’s not forget that this hotel totally stepped out of the 70s it is so retro and fun

This hotel is a diamond in the rough. Meaning, the rooms are very nice, the location is excellent, and the price is a wonderful bargain, but the current construction (as many have noted) is a little off-putting. However, here's a special tid bit that my wife and i discovered about the beach. If you go north on Ocean Drive (A1A) to Commercial Blvd instead of south to Oakland Park Blvd, the beach experience is nicer, and the distance is about the same. Enjoy.

I think the reviews are not accurate. I visited this hotel twice even once in the pandemic for the first time. It was quiet but enough to enjoy. I spent all my time in the pool late at night I loved the rooms and the beach I’d close. Lookin for a solo trip to meet others this is your place plenty of pool parties. I absolutely loved this hotel i cant explain my trip in words to Florida.

We arrived on April 22 and stayed till 28 (Tuesday-Friday). The staff was perfect and extremely accommodating, our room was amazing (especially the bed!) except the AC was somewhat slow. The hotel parking lot was questionable at first, then grew on us. It (the hotel) is conveniently located to beach, restaurants, stores, etc. (personal note: Ocean Grill has bad food, as does Brewfish Bar and Grill, BUT Beg For More Sushi has OUTSTANDING food! Overall the vacation was good and much deserved and we WILL return to the same hotel!

The rooms were fully renovated, ignore all last reviews about the rooms, we really liked out stay for the price it was worth it. We didn't stay at the pool cause we were out at the beach most days, the service was very good, Christina at the reception was so nice and sweet :) room service for extra towels was fast and quick, we thank you for our great experience ! Totally recommend!

The location of this hotel is pretty good, one downfall is that you need to pay additional for parking in this location. The reception is a little hidden from the entrance of the building but overall the room was large, comfortable and rebuilt. There is a pool and walking distance to the beach. Surroundings have restaurants, stores and pharmacies around.

Wonderful experience with family. The hotel and room are clean. Prices are reasonable and family friendly atmosphere. Restaurant and bar night life excellent. The only problem was pool closes at 9pm and while my kids were enjoying pool, we were asked to leave area, however, other guest and kids were in pool and hotel attendant didn't approach them 🤔 In addition, we were not told about pool closure when we checked-in. Despite that incident, everything was overall well received and we still enjoyed our 1 day stay.

Older hotel with easy access to the beach. CVS, Winn Dixie, and McDonald's across the street. Our room was on level two above the parking terrace. Very quiet with a balcony. They are remodeling, so the new rooms will be even nicer. Nice staff, just don't plan on checking in early because it's a busy hotel. Nice outdoor pool, no breakfast.

C

Under construction, so no patio bar or restaurant. Just the pool. Definitely need more seating in pool area. Rooms are very updated. The ac was the loudest thing I've ever heard. If it kicked on, everyone knew and vice versa with other guests! Good stay, would be Even better if you didn't charge 20 a day to park at your own hotel, with little to no other options than to pay it since it's all commercial businesses across the street.

First I was taking back from the outside of the hotel. The entire structure is horrible. Check in process was smooth and easy. The hotel do charge a deposit of $50 per night for your stay. The pool is nice and heated, it close at dusk but wasn’t truly enforced. There is no shuttle to the beach and the closest entrance to the beach was about a 10 minute walk. The room was newly remodeled so it was clean and modern however they didn’t not touch the bathroom we had an old dated pink tub. The location is great. Me personally I’ll say it’s more of a 2.5 star hotel. But all in all not bad

L
Lauren Biano

Room was small, but clean and newly renovated. Staff were helpful and housekeeping came when you called and did a good job. Pool was nice, however not heated, but you get to hang out with the local iguanas that live at the pool. Location was perfect!! Only downside was being placed on the ground floor and not having much daylight in the room as we didn’t want people looking into our room.

Solo traveler. Felt very safe. Bed was comfortable, room was very clean. Shower had good pressure. There is a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. There was a loveseat and a long table to work on as needed. The balcony was nice, 2 chairs . Pool was closed just after dark. Outside bartender was friendly and interacted without being cloying. Food and drinks here are well done. Prices were about what I expected for the beach area. Be aware- there is a self park fee$18 a night.many hotels in the area also charge for parking. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful from 3 different front desk staff to the security guy to the bartender; all understand and show excellent customer service. In fact it was the customer service by phone that convinced me to stay here instead of a couple other options.

The rooms were pretty clean. However, there wasn't an elevator to get bags up to the second floor. Which were kind of steep. Maybe some throw rugs to soften the room. They are under construction and the grounds do not look like they are being maintained very well.

The Hotel is under renovation and I stayed in their nearby complex where rooms are totally renovated. Everything was clean and new, bed comfortable, tea & coffee tray, fridge, desk, aircon (just a bit noisy), toiletries, etc . No view from my room on GF. Parking possible just a few meters from the room. All good and the staff nice and professional. For meals there are nice places just in front.

While this hotel is undergoing renovations, it is still a great place to stay, unless you like to sleep in...construction on the room next door to ours started promptly at 8am. The hotel front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. No one comes into your room to clean or freshen, unless you ask...which is great, cause I don't need a daily turn down to my bed. The pool outside our section of the villa (and they have 4 villa areas with pools) was lovely. Clean, quiet and a nice cabana bar a few feet away from the pool. This hotel is just 3 blocks away from water taxi stop #10 (the last stop) which made getting around a bit more versatile, other than Uber or Lyft.

The rooms are very clean, and it seems they just remodel them, unfortunately the AC is a window ac so it is noisy, we had to watch TV with volum maximum so we could hear, pool was closed but you can use the pool of a near by hotel 5 min walk, the kitchen was ok unfortunately we only got one fork only so I had to use a spoon. Other than that it seems the place will be good once the finish the remodelation.

Hotel in under renovations, so 3/4 of the hotel is not open. Once completed, I am sure it will be 5 stars. You couldn't ask for better service, and you have extra items brought to your room within minutes. Our rooms were just remodeled, the bed is so comfortable and inviting. Our room does not have a dresser or a desk to put your stuff on. We have a small kitchen with everything you need to cook a complete meal, including a dining table with 4 chairs. The shower is small and very slippery, so be careful. We have plenty of towels. The staff and service is top notch

I stayed here for 11 days. I will tell you that the service was exceptional when needed. This hotel is currently under renovations. I got a room that has already been remodeled. My only complaint was no active working ice machine, so you had to have ice sent to your room. The grounds could use some cleaning up as plants are overgrowing on the sidewalks. Parking is $18 a day plus taxes. The pool was nice and I enjoyed lounging with the iguanas you will find around the pool. Overall, I think the hotel will be quite beautiful once renovations are completed.

T
Tonya Flowers

The staff was great and very tentative. Even when answering the phone. The rooms were ok. The bathroom sink faucet was half broke, wasn’t able to take a bath because the bathtub drain stopper was broke. However everything was very clean. The pool was nice and relaxing and the resident Iguanas made my day. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the bar a restaurant were closed due to construction on the property. If your a walker it’s about a mile north or south to the beach

I just recently stayed here, and I was impressed with the experience. My flight got cancelled so I booked on hotwire blind so I was bit nervous. The hotel is currently under construction so some things are closed. I stayed in a renovated room; it was nice, and the room was clean. It was a mini bar in the room. The staff at the front desk was super nice and the public beach access was a few blocks down the road. My only complaint was the security deposit was $200.00 which is high considering I've stayed at bigger hotel brands and never paid that much. Another minor issue is they don't provide wash clothes in the room and no laundry on site.

Older place that's undergoing renovation. I stayed in a renovated room, and it had some quirks. They don't offer even standard size pillows on the bed, but what I'd describe as "throw pillows," which was odd. The a/c was SO LOUD! Soundproofing not great in the room, and we heard everything from outside. The hotel room doors are mounted backwards with hinges on the outside which was a little disconcerting for personal security, and why they're done that way. Location is fantastic, right across from the beach, many eateries nearby (very few of which are open for lunch). This doesn't strike me as a place you go to lounge and stay in the room, but to crash and enjoy the sites nearby and elsewhere, in which case, it was -- fine.

L
LoveandFitness10

The hotel was pretty average. Kudos to the photographer they hired because they made the place look a lot better. The lobby area is cute but small. The room was dated and pretty dark (I brightened the photo so you could see the room better) and the door to the room didn’t close all the way. Hotel doors are usually pretty heavy and swing shut but this one didn’t and if I handing checked someone may have stolen our stuff. There aren’t a lot of amenities; the food at the restaurant isn’t over priced and the pool is pretty small. The room was clean and spacious though so that’s the upside.

You get what you paid for. Was originally supposed to be a 5 night stay but after just one night and two room changes, we had no choice but leave and request a refund. The people at the front desk were very accommodating and nice. Didn't have to argue for the refund. They were more than happy to issue it. Location is absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to amazing restaurants and bars. Beach is a 10min walk that's really not too bad. Did meet a few people at the bar enjoying drinks and food who weren't staying at the hotel but did enjoy being at the bar and restaurant when in town.

F

Let's start with parking. The room was a good deal, $67, and when we checked in the front desk asked for our vehicle as expected and then told us it would cost $18 to park for one night. The hotel is under heavy renovation, the pictures online are very different from reality. The lady at the front desk was very polite and the waiter at the restaurant was very good. It's really close to the beach, an easy walk. It will probably be a very nice hotel when they're done renovating.

I my room was in Bldg E. The property is under renovation. My views were a pool filled trash and debris in the front and building materials in the back. The room was spacious with a very nice kitchenette. Poor lighting but a quality designed space. The biggest issue was the roaches. Every night there would be more. The only thing management offered was refunded parking ($54), spray during your stay (that would really bring them out), and one drink voucher (two people were registered as guests). The management has made no further efforts to contact me. Great location. Stay at your own risk.🪳🪳🪳🪳

This is a pretty good little hotel. We stayed for one night and it’s being updated/renovated. The room we stayed in was updated which was nice. The beds weren’t bad either. The only thing is that the window/type a/c’s are very loud. When we turned the tv on I had to raise the volume to hear over it. And when going to sleep you’re very aware they’re on. Not old units, you can tell the ac’s are brand new but they’re incredibly noisy.

The rooms would be fine if they replaced the stained carpet. It is gross. Advertises heated pool, but don't tell you that only one of the pools is heated. The bartender is wonderful, she is so friendly and helpful. Even though they list airport shuttle, it is only available if scheduled the day before and is expensive.

Rooms were nice and we're like new. They just remodeled. Rooms are basic but we're clean. Bed was comfy. I called the office because it looked like there was only one towel. We sat in sun on an upper deck that was also nice.

Never explained remodeling was going on. No water in main building and never told or given opportunity to switch rooms that had water in building 1-2. Internet was hard to get on. Pool wasnt open. Pillows stained. Id advised to not stay for the next six months until the remodeling is done, and give them another chance

Great value and cost. Looks very janky on the outside but our room was very well renovated. Only missing thing are the ventilation fans in the bathroom. We were initially worried about parking.Because it seemed like they didn't have any extra parking based on their location but when you check in, they give you a map of their overflow parking lot which is big enough to accommodate all their guests at max capacity. Service gets a 3 star dropping their overall to a 3 as well because we were promised a free breakfast in the stay (5 days) however their dining room was closed for renovations. Would definitely have picked a different motel had we known this because we had a very packed schedule and couldn't squeeze in time early morning for breakfast on the road. Staff were great and very diligent so they saved the service rating from a 1.

Nice hotel in a good location. It's in the process of being refurbished. Sadly, no restaurant (yet) or coffee (yet) or laundry facilities (if at all) the rooms weren't serviced so I had to keep asking for coffee for the room. I'm guessing prices will go up once the repairs etc have finished. Parking is expensive. But the rooms are comfortable and spacious, no ventilation in the bathroom which is only going to store up trouble for the future.

Mixed Stay at Royal Beach Palace Hotel, Fort Lauderdale (April 11–15, 2025) ✅ What I Liked: Location: The hotel is well situated. You have a CVS pharmacy and McDonald's right across the street, which is convenient for grabbing essentials or a quick meal. Though the beach isn’t right next door, it's within a walkable distance. Similarly, stores like Walgreens and some restaurants are a short walk away, so getting around isn’t too difficult. Room Experience: I stayed for 4 nights. The room was comfortable, and I could see a partial view of the water, which added to the experience and made the stay a bit more pleasant. ❌ What I Didn’t Like: Signboard Confusion: The hotel is listed as "Royal Beach Palace Hotel" during booking, but the actual signboard says “The Garden Hotel”, which is extremely confusing. It made it difficult to find the location — even my Uber driver struggled to identify the place. This can be frustrating, especially after a long journey. No Water Provided: After checking in, I called the front desk to request drinking water, but they denied providing any. They said I needed to arrange my own. For a hotel of this level, not offering basic necessities like water on arrival felt cold and unwelcoming. Checkout Experience: Upon checking out, I was immediately told to go outside and wait for my uber, despite it being hot and uncomfortable. It felt a bit rude and dismissive, especially when you're still a guest until you actually leave. Overall Summary: While the location and room were good, the confusing signage, lack of basic hospitality, and impolite checkout experience left a sour taste. This place has potential, but the staff behavior and guest handling need improvement to match expectations.

Hotel was being renovated. The room was updated and look good, most of the services was not available, due to renovation. Great location near to beach access and city. Check in and out was good. Shower had to be plugged by service technician. Bar and refrigerator was well stocked in room.

This is a motel. It looked nothing like the pictures online. It was old and run down. It is on a very busy highway and the bar/pool was right outside our room, so lots of noise all night. The room was clean but had an old gross carpet. It said free parking but then told there was a fee, which was waived. It is about a 10 minute walk to get to a public beach which was very pretty. You could not see the beach from your room at all.The food from the restaurant was pretty good and they delivered to our room. We only stayed 1 night so it was ok, but felt I was deceived as it was nothing like the pictures.

I wish I had known half the hotel was under construction as I would not have stayed here. There’s an outside bar near the pool we were exited about. It would have been a relaxing environment if it weren’t for the loud saw running. This hotel like many others are using COVID as an excuse not to clean the rooms daily. We have requested multiple times for our room to be cleaned and it has not been done. The location is ok. It’s across the street from a grocery store which is convenient. But when you enter or leave the store you’re frequently asked for money from the multiple homeless people hanging around there. The beach itself is super close but you have to walk a few blocks to get to the public beach access. So its not convenient if you have a lot of beach stuff to lug around in 90 degree weather. I didn’t feel safe walking around the area at night. The rooms are updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning is loud but works. The shower pressure is super low. I wish they would give you more towels (only one washcloth??) and toilet paper especially since we weren’t able to get cleaning service during our stay. We are on the second level which helps reduce some of the noise you hear from people partying, drinking, and playing music by the pool late at night. The bar tenders and concierge have all been really nice. Overall I might stay here again if I can’t find something better for the same price.

This is an old Ft. Lauderdale strip motel with outside room entrances. The pictures are deceiving. Everything seemed a bit grungy on the outside. However our room was surprisingly updated, roomy and comfortable. The carpet fresh smell was a bit overwhelming though. We had the king one bedroom suite, so it had one bed in one room, one king in the other room with sliding doors. Great for families with kids. It got a bit loud at times with partying young people and I think I smelled weed at one point. Not my favorite thing to experience with kids. The bed was incredibly comfortable which was surprising. $9/day parking which was lame, bit found a spot each time. Separate buildings with small pools for each, again old and a bit grungy. Pretty good location. We stayed 2 nights which was fine. I would not want to stay longer than that.

November 2023 Disappointments and Failures After spending over a year renovating the Galt Villas at this property the results, in the opinion of this regular visitor, are disappointing. This was my sixth visit, all of which were over two weeks long. My plan was to go for about 17 days every April and November. I will not go back. Failures The kitchen suites are roomy and have a functional kitchen. In the renovation they replaced the full-sized refrigerator/freezer with a larger-than-usual bar fridge. With the elimination of the freezer, this property no longer meets my basic requirements. This is a major downgrade. The Galt Villas always had a variety of patio furniture in its common areas. There is almost none now. Another basic need no longer met. I paid full price for a property that no longer delivers as it once did. The deadbolt door latch on my room door did not work. The bathroom tissue holder in my room was not properly installed. When I made my reservation directly with the hotel (to avoid miscommunication between a discount site and the property as happened in the past) I was very specific about needing a ground floor room. When I called to confirm details that I had given in writing, they had assigned me to a second-floor room. If I had not called, there would have been a problem at check-in. This is a basic service failure. Again, I paid a significant premium to avoid such issues. Disappointments After over one year of renovation time, rusty hinges on the bathroom door are not acceptable. The bathtub/shower design is just plain stupid. In place of a shower curtain there is a glass wall, fixed in place, extending for half the tub length. This means you must step into the bath to turn on the water and shower. Move quickly or you will be hit with the initial flow of icy cold water. The room carpet has been replaced with floor tiles. This a smart move, but the tiles are cheap and the workmanship shoddy. Walking on the floor should not elicit sounds from the tiles. They used to provide a dish drainer for washed dishes. No longer. The beds are fine, but the mattresses are encased in plastic. With only one thin sheet separating the plastic from skin, it caused me to sweat profusely. The solution was to put a towel under the fitted sheet where there should be a proper quilted mattress cover. Before renovations there was a cabinet behind the bathroom mirror. With almost no counter space in the bathroom this was a plus that has been eliminated. When I am already paying thousands of dollars for my stay, trying to charge me $20 to check in an hour early is inappropriate. Positives The air conditioning worked very well. The location is still excellent. They cannot screw that up.

I stayed here for 1 night and I do not recommend staying AT ALL. The charge a $200 deposit for not even a 24 hour stay which is outrageous. They told me it would be a hold, but it was an actual charge. It should have been back in my account 1-3 business days after check out, but I haven’t received anything almost after 1 week of check-out. During the night, someone’s card worked on my door & I was extremely terrified when someone walked into my bedroom while sleeping. Room is clean & communication is okay. But I do not recommend.

I gave this a low score because the pillows were horrible. The refrigerators have glass fronts and literally light up the entire room at night. I had to turn the refrigerator around to face the wall so we could sleep. Apparently, housekeeping didn't get the memo to provide bath towels and a/c was loud. Never again.

I guess we got what we paid for. The room does not look luxury at all. It looks like those motels place. When I booked the room, they said I m suppose to have a kitchen, but no kitchen. The room is basic for 2. Room bathroom floor was so wet when I got in the room. There is no elevator in the hotel. If u are an elder person or a disable person. This is not a recommended place. You will have to carry your luggages. Then when my friend and I got our room key, we have to bring our luggages up the stairs. There is a housekeeping lady sit on the stair steps and isn't it common sense when someone is standing in front of the steps. They need to go upstairs. I have to say it couple of times excuse me. Meanwhile she was just chatting with her coworker. They have poor customer service especially the housekeeping ladies. This is not a recommended place if u want something luxury.

There is nothing royal or palace like here. The rooms are cramped and very basic. When we checked in i was craving coffee. Most hotels have a coffee urn near the front desk. I was so sad to find out that coffee is only in room via keurig machine. The sheets are rough and scratchy. The restaurant looks like it's been closed for years. The photos are misleading. These are the type of rooms the homeless are rented during the winter months.

The pool needed some TLC. The pool chairs were all broken. Massive construction going on and was very loud. The rooms and the pool did not look like the pictures. Very disappointed.

D
Diana Castro

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we found the sheets were dirty, which was completely unacceptable. We had to call the front desk two times to remind them to change the sheets, something that should have been done before our check-in. What made matters worse was the lack of acknowledgment or compensation for this inconvenience. The staff didn’t offer any gestures to make up for their oversight. For the price we paid, we expected at least basic standards of cleanliness and customer service. Unfortunately, this stay fell far short. We wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

C
C L

You get what you pay for here. The hotel doesn't match the photos—our room was not renovated as shown. The pool had only six chairs that were all broken, and there’s no sports bar, lounge, or restaurant. Plus, parking is an additional cost each day.

S
Steph Lowe

The hotel appeared beautiful on their website with a nice pool area and pool side bar. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The pool area was not maintained well and the pool bar was closed entirely. Our rooms were not as they appeared in the website photos. Our tv did not work. When we arrived early they did accommodate an early check in, but with a $20 fee.

This is a MOTEL, NOT a Hotel or Resort which is what it was being portrayed as online. Ill give them credit on cleanliness and remodeled rooms, but other than that its sketch. Even though my room was remodeled it had holes in the wall and the couch was already broken. The pool area was definitely not portrayed as photos, fountain didn't work, pool chairs broken and outdated. Also pool area was a smokers lounge area. The back was even sketchier, there were porta potties with tons of trash bins everywhere. Area was alright, there's restaurants within walking distance. Cafe across street that's decent. And for the price I paid i should have stayed somewhere else, definitely don't reccomend it.

M
Matthew Egan

Rooms are decent but the entire property is under construction. The parking situation is a mess and debris is everywhere. The rooms aren’t bad but there are a lot of better options on the strip.

It’s not what I expected it to be. There is still work being done which limits what a guest has access to. First, when I was dropped off by an Uber ride, I was confused about if this was the hotel. The name says “Garden Inn” and the main area looks unoccupied or deserted. Many other guests were confused as well. A few asked me if this was the right hotel and was looking for the front desk office. My room looks very compact, like a tiny home. There was an ant trail problem in my room. A lot of what’s shown as visuals and typed information on their website is not accurate. This is very misleading. I was disappointed when I actually saw this place in person. To be advertised as a resort and charge resort fees is ridiculous. Maybe it would be different once they actually finish construction but it’s still not a resort type of hotel. No breakfast, or any cooked food because the kitchen isn’t available. There’s no access to the beach right here. It’s a little distance to get to the beach. The pool was open but not in the best condition. The first day of check in, there was a truck pumping stuff from the drain to unclog whatever they were working on which smelled terrible and was blocking the walkway to get to the pool. It smelled like a sewer and the truck was super loud which there was no way to enjoy the pool area. The deposit is $200 which is way more than a previous hotel I was at days before I checked in here. The other hotel literally has a bar, restaurants in the lobby area, access to two pools, an attraction of events at night, easy entry to the beach from one of the pool areas just a few feet away and many other things. Imagine waking up on your last day of staying and the power goes out. So my check out day was stressful because I had food in the fridge to heat up before checking out but had to throw it all away. Now I have to head to the airport hungry because my plan was to eat what I already bought. This is more of a motel style wheee it’s not a family or romantic partner type of hotel as advertised. Management should notify on the website as well as update what in progress or under construction. I will say that the bed is comfortable, bathroom area is okay where the water works and temperature of water is good. This is my experience as to what I’ve went through as well as my point of view. I have photos and video footage to share along with this review.

The sheets were too small for the bed, all 4 corners came off every night we stayed here. There were also stains in them. Overall not very clean, there were toothpaste stains on the mirror when we arrived and hair in the sink/tub. We could hear every conversation of the people next to us, every night. Do not come here on a weekend cause it’s basically a college party. People were yelling from balconies at all hours, and we were forced to park offsite at a different lot. There was half a roll of toilet paper in our room for a whole week. I went down to get more, and the lady, who works as a hotel maid here, did not speak enough English to understand “toilet paper.”

Melissa Willis

What a dump. The hotel tiki bar and restaurant are under renovation. The rooms had hair all over the tub. Hair all over the back door. We checked for bed bugs, and thankfully, nothing. The pool was nice. I had a 4am wake up from the partying young boys next door. I went to the desk and complained at 4am. It was awful. Crusty stuff on the complimentary shampoo/conditioner bottles. The pool has full shade in the afternoon, no sun. Over-priced!

This was a not a hotel. You could barely call it a motel. It was nothing like the pictures on the website. It was run down like something from the 70s. Definitely NOT a 6 minute walk to the beach. There was no public access to the beach due to condos and high-rises blocking any access. Another reviewer said the bartender told them where the public access was. You shouldn't have to ask the bartender!! It should be clearly explained by the staff. We had a late flight, so we checked in just before 11pm. The website said our room had a partial ocean view. The only view we had from the tiny, cement balcony, was of the dirty, stained awning over the bar. We were told the bar closed at midnight, but the loud music and people talking and yelling went on until after 2am. The worst part...My bed felt wet the first night. I told the front desk and they offered to change the sheets, even though I explained the bed itself was wet. We thought it must've just been humidity, or maybe even some water spilled. It was so late and we were so tired, plus they said they didn't have any other rooms available, and we just wanted to go to sleep, so I put towels and a sweatshirt down on my bed so I could sleep and when I woke up in the morning, my pajama shorts were wet and smelled like pee. The towels I put down were stained yellow and wet. Absolutely disgusting!!! Obviously the people before us had peed the bed and housekeeping just covered it over. I showed the housekeeping manager, who told me it was not pee and he couldn't smell anything. I insisted on a refund and after fighting with Priceline for almost an hour, we left first thing in the morning. The manager Golda did help me get a refund but never apologized! No one ever apologized. They didn't even seemed phased by it. The only people saying in their reviews that they had a great time there are the ones who spent the entire night drinking at the bar! I would never ever stay there again or recommend it to anyone else!!!

You ended up at this hotel because you are looking for something “affordable” aka cheap. Please don’t book it. This place is extremely dated and uncomfortable. I was leaving the room early in the morning and coming back late at night. Stayed on the balcony for the most part. I fell sick after the first night, the mold and damp smell is unbearable. I literally just took 2 benadryl plus have been on medication every 6 hours since Thursday morning. I am not sure if the health department inspect these hotels, it will shock me and would make me question if this place passes inspections. It was pointless to inform them of something they already know. The solution would have been for me to pack up and go as the entire place is dated and smells awful. (Damped). I couldn’t afford to leave. The “good” service upon check in unfortunately was not enough to make up for the facility. This is not a hate review, just trying to spare you

Jaden Jacklyn

Please do not book here, unless you don’t want your deposit back for awhile, love the smell of mold, uncleanliness, enjoy here S workers all night and like getting yelled at by your neighbors for complaining about their noise at 6am. I had my family visit and stayed here with them and it was horrible at first site online it looks great but the rooms look absolutely nothing like the pictures, let alone clean! I have some women hair left on the towels in the bathroom, toenails beside my bed and a mans hat under the bed! Makes me wonder if they even cleaned before our stay, there was also roaches (we moved rooms immediately after finding those). Our shower would not drain, there are no air vents in the bathroom. The bar has half off happy hour yet nothing is actually half off and the front desk is absolutely no help at all so I didn’t even bother with them after the 3time speaking to them. I checked out 2 weeks ago and I’m still waiting for my deposit back and a call back from the manager but if that all sounds good to you then enjoy your stay.😊

DO NOT stay here. This place is nothing like the hotel makes it look to be. We made the best out of trip that we could without complaining, but this is motel... not a hotel like it says. Extremely disappointed in the images the pool looks amazing, it was dirty. The whole property was extremely dirty... the rooms were dirty, the bathrooms were the only nice thing. This location did not feel safe. Had to call security at night because creepy people would try to open our hotel door all night. The only good thing was the hotels tiki bar the servers/bartenders were amazing. But overall, this place is not how it looks and definitely will not return. Spend the extra 50 dollars and stay somewhere else!!!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Our room had roaches all throughout. The first night we seen rally small ones and thought maybe it was water bugs, as we have them at home in Kentucky sometimes. But then we seen a big one crawling across our headboard!!! My boyfriend has a very severe allergy to them. When I went to the office they said I would have to speak to a manager which is understandable but was then told they would contact us. This was the day we were flying out and so they said the manager would call after our arrival time back home. Our plane landed and I waited 2 hrs before having to reach out and the manager was apparently "in meetings". She was very rude and didn't apologize one time for the issue or seem to care in the slightest that the room was basically covered in roaches. Just said she would compensate for our last night there. Even though we have pictures and videos with the dates of every night we seen them. Not to mention they tried to paint over mold on the ceiling. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!!

Just there today and the so called manager was so rude to me and didn't even let me get my belongings out and I found the sheets to have black mold on them and then the matience guy claims it was just a laundry stain. I'm doing you guys a favor don't book this place it smelt so bad the room and we were on the floor level right outside a pool where you can hear everything. It was the worst experience of my life..luckily we booked another hotel and it was a little more money but, it's much cleaner and there are no problems. My suggestion to you of thinking of booking this place is run don't walk and all the negative reviews are absolutely true this place is a hole in the wall and the manager could care less.

I booked clients in this hotel as a travel agent. If I could give it 0 stars on their behalf I would! This hotel is absolutely NOTHING like the pictures shows. Their room was moldy and musty and a nightmare for one client with allergies. It was old and run down and the sheets and bedding were filthy! The site says 4 heated pools but the one pool they had access to was full of garbage and debris and not usable. They described it as skid row and sketchy. The front desk offered nothing. My clients had to leave and book a new hotel...it was so disgusting they couldn't stay there. Ridiculous service and now they have to pay double for their stay in Florida! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!

G
Gabby Vigorito

The staff were awful, the lady with the glasses gave us a room that was already taken & we had bugs on our bed along with waking up every morning with big bites. The people & hotel were very dirty. If you are looking for a comfortable stay with standards, THIS IS NOT THE HOTEL. Also I got food poisoning from the restaurant across the street after trying all of their foods. I hope you will find a better hotel after reading my review.

Place does not look like pictures displayed online. I still went ahead and checked in, went to my room, and left my items on a desk. After a few minutes I noticed that dozens of baby spiders had gone over my things. For fear of bed bugs and checked the bed, and saw female hair left in the bedsheets, food crumbs under the bedsheets, and more baby spiders (or possible bedbugs). I requested a refund and they only offered a change of room, which for obvious reasons I declined. Manager told me she couldn’t do anything for me, even though I had just checked-in. I told her I would write this review and she said she is not scared of my threats. For just $15 more I went to the Fairfield by Hilton and the experience was lovely, clean, spotless and way better looking place in general. Avoid staying in this place at all costs, specially since the competition is WAY better around.

The hotel was clean but a little sketchy. I didn't like the way the back parking lot looked. Very dirty and the door to the room had about an inch view from the bottom that made me worry about rodents or other unwanted creatures making their way in. However since the hotel was booked in advance and I was ready to vacation I decided to stay. When I woke up the next morning to use the restroom I noticed that their was a large flying cockroach in the bathtub. I called downstairs and someone came and removed it instantly but I was very uncomfortable at this point. I started to pack my clothes and realized that the table that was supplied to eat on had alot of small ants crawling around. At this point I had had enough. I called for an early check out. I went to the front desk to check out and the receptionist didn't even take the time to apologize. She refunded me my money and told me to have a good day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Booked the honeymoon suite and the LED lighting was broken, the main ten e man says it was broken for weeks and they havnt fixed it which is a highlight of the room with a jacuzzi which we paid more for. There was a huge dead cockroach when we entered and dirty mirrors in bathroom tape on walls and ceiling that didn’t get cleaned and an off smell in the room which was being covered by air freshener plug ins! The pool was dirty by the luxe suites but the main pool was decent. The staff was nice and accommodating as much as they could be but were unable to get us a different room. The food and drinks at the bar was tasty and very affordable priced! It’s a motel and definitely has been upgraded in some time- wouldn’t stay here again.

Title: “Welcome to WrestleHotel: Where Hospitality Taps Out” Stayed here recently and honestly, the building is lovely, but the vibes? Pure heel energy. Let’s start with the manager—this guy strutted around the lobby like he was about to cut a promo on Raw. I mean, who let this wannabe WWE promoter run a hotel? I half expected him to challenge me to a steel cage match when I dared to ask a simple question about my bill. Oh, speaking of bills, let me tell you about the sneaky fees! Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, told us about the $200 deposit until we were at the counter. Surprise! And then they hit us with a $20 parking fee on top of that. For what? Parking on their already overpriced plot of asphalt? Did Roman Reigns personally bless the pavement or something? The rudeness was top-notch, though, I’ll give them that. I’ve been to DMV offices with more pleasant interactions. Manager McMahon was so rude I’m convinced he’s working on his heel character for the next PPV. Honestly, he should stick to wrestling promos because customer service is NOT his strong suit. Would I stay here again? Only if Vince McMahon books the rematch. Until then, I’m taking my business to a hotel where the managers don’t think they’re cutting promos and the fees are actually disclosed. Two stars—one for the building and one for the free entertainment.

We booked a room at this hotel, based on the description. The information said that there was a pool, a lounge, and a restaurant. There is no indication that the hotel was being renovated, and that, indeed, there was no pool, lounge, or restaurant. When we got there, we couldn’t find the entrance, and eventually found it by walking down this corridor that smelled of a locker room and had standing water along the way. Walking into the lobby I encountered furniture that appeared old and…icky… The last thing that I would want to do would be to sit on it. We then got our room card after being told there was no elevator. We were directed to a second floor room that we reached by walking past a dug up area and a cracked asphalt parking lot. There was a refrigerator and a microwave in our room. The refrigerator made a high whining sound and also a gurgling sound all night long that kept us awake. Finally, there was no ventilation in the room thus everything felt damp and the air conditioner , while it worked, worked poorly. I would recommend looking for any place other than this to stay.

L

The pictures are so deceptive. The pool is tiny, the rooms are tiny. The beach is a 15 minute walk there and back. The hotel is under construction and nosy, there’s no breakfast, restaurant, bar, nothing. I would stay here for one night before a cruise, but nothing more. We booked 4 nights with 2 kids and we were bored or exhausted from walking so far to the beach. Also the bathroom floods the entire floor everytime the shower is used

C
Chris Hershey

COMPLETE SCAM. DO NOT BOOK HERE UNLESS YOU ENJOY STAYING IN A RUN DOWN SHED. Do not be fooled, this place looks NOTHING like the pictures. They will tell you they are under renovation which is also a scam. We learned that this place has been exactly the same for many years. Grounds are horrible, rooms are damp, musty and dirty. No bar, no restaurant, no lounge, nothing at all. Shady people all over the place, seems like the kind of place you book by the hour. I’d give it a zero in every way if I could.

J

The Hotel is under construction there’s no where to park because it’s full containers with construction materials and equipment the pool is out of service and all the common areas are dirty in general.

Y
Yessika Veras

I will start by saying that the premium suites with kitchen looked nice, but as soon as we walked in our feet got black at the bottom from how dirty the floors were. What’s the point of making a room look nice and leave it so dirty? Our bathroom sink was clogged and we couldn’t use it. The restaurant and bar are both closed so this was a disappointment and yet they charge $4 for the sodas in the little fridge like hello you are already not providing everything you say you have and you want to overcharge for whatever you got left? The lobby is extremely old and abandoned and looks dirty. And let’s not even talk about the parking fees when you can’t even find parking if you come to the hotel at night time. Pool water is FREEZING so we couldn’t even go in it. I will never come back to this place.

A

There is nothing good about this place. I went with my parents and brother for 3 days. When we got there the lobby was hard to find when we finally found it it smelled horrible and it looked old and half the hotel was closed because it was being renovated but anyways, we had to wait till 3:30pm to get a room and then when we finally got our room it was small and then the ceiling had a big crack and there was a bunch of water on the floor and not only that the bad was all wat and yellow we went to the lobby and then complained they gave us a new room but yet still the room was dirty and looked old in my perspective. The elevator was so old it gave me anxiety even looking at it. Then if u grab anything from the refrigerator u get charged because it ain't free. I'LL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. This place is a complete dump that claims they are under renovation. That is not the case. It's a disgusting one star motel with a shady front and a horrible staff and disgusting rooms. We didn't stay here more than 20 Minutes and the website and pictures online are a complete lie. DO NOT DO NOT BOOK HERE. DUMP DUMP and it's completely disgusting.

Out of date and very sketchy. Window in the bathroom gave a peep show for the passerby’s. Tiles in the room were not laid correctly and rocked. Air conditioning unit screamed the entire night. Housekeeping came in without knocking at 8am. We happened to be dressed but barely.

A

If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not stay here unless you are used to bugs. We had ants in 3 rooms. Moved us 3 times. No hot water so be sure to wake before your neighbor to shower the manager will tell you give it 15 minutes then try again. The hotel is under construction and is a disaster. Manager is terrible. The doors looked like they were kicked in. Told manager she asked does the door still close. Every door was not secure even when deadlocked. Had a balcony perfect view of CVS.

L
Lotoria Hubbard

This place is ridiculous. Waited a day in a half for fresh towels and only received towels because I went to the front desk and even then they didn’t have towels. I had to cut up a hand towel just to bathe with. Asked for room service no one came. Then when I went to the front they told me room service doesn’t come until after 1. The toilet was backed up. Construction is ridiculous. By the way we were in building E. Went to the restaurant there was literally 1 bartender. He was bartending, taking orders and retrieving the food and cleaning tables. That’s ridiculous for 1 person but I do applaud him. Bed rails sticking out. Bathroom tub is extremely high you will most certainly hit your knee or almost fall when you get out the tub. Rooms are not as advertised online. Parking is $18 per day. All around horrible experience. Not worth the price. Pay the extra money to go be somewhere nicer if you want to be close to the beach.

D
Donny Lakeman

What they missed with cleanliness and all renovations going on, they definitely do not make up in hospitality. After getting in late and having issues getting to the front desk because the main door was locked with a sign that just says “use another door” with no direction. Then finally getting a room, the room I was sent to had no access due to construction. After going back and getting a different room, the door didn’t shut completely and car alarms kept going off throughout the night due to lack of security. As I get up for my morning shower, the soap provided was used with hair on it(picture below). I finally was able to reach the front desk, and requested a noon checkout to get different new accommodations in place, which was declined for “all of our late checkouts are full”. I assure you people are not lining up to spend their beach vacation here. Just terrible property with terrible people.

Horrible experience the hotels under construction with debris in a mess everywhere. Took them forever to return my security deposit!!! After making several attempt phone calls I finally will receive my security deposit back from them in 5 to 7 days. About time!!! Nothing passes code. No air vents in my entire room. Didn’t look like the room shown on the website and also have been waiting over two weeks for my security deposit back. The front desk workers there are very rude. Only nice person was the bartender waiter who serving breakfast and the cleaners. While I was there, I could overheard executive say someone broke into the place last week. The construction perimeter fence is in violation of code and construction permit were required. I can’t believe this hotel is still in business.

Front desk explained the rooms were renovated but; the bathtub in my room is dirty, clogged, peeling, slippery and leaking. The mini fridge is also leaking. Plus you can hear everything from the streets, but the wall mounted AC is so loud it drowns out the noise, and the bedsheets and towels are very rough. This is a badly renovated motel.

The supervisor Roxana, is a very rude person it seems that everything is for her alone I asked her about some things and she more or less understood what she wanted, she wanted to spend a few days in this hotel but the grade is low for her, and also her English is not very good, they should give a chance to young people who understand or have experience, recommendation do not go to this hotel and if you go that Roxana is not there or do not ask for anything. Rodney at the front desk, was How about on letting me know that he was right. His arrogance completely turned me away from staying at this hotel. I called prior to coming in letting them know I had a problem with my card and that my bank had an issue a new one so I’d pay in cash. He said no problem over the phone that they would just need $200 deposit. When I get there, he said they needed the deposit on the card and was just completely The way he went about it. I could’ve easily gone and deposited the money on my other card, but I’d rather spend the thousand dollars on a hotel that treats me with respect and doesn’t disregard my autism.

The room was nice & comfortable. Housekeeping never came to freshen up anything. The hotel was underconstruction. There was no access to the pool. It was dirty & not filled. There was debris & construction materials everywhere. Laborers roaming around. The parking lot was unpaved & dirty. I rolled my ankle. The parking lot smelled like urine. The room doors didnt close properly you have to slam them to make sure they were closed the extra safety latch did work at all. I didnt feel safe at all. I am totally unhappy about my stay here. I would not recommend to friend & will not come back. I actually ended my stay here early

The conditions and service at this hotel are terrible. I didn’t pay $1,000 to stay at a college dormitory for six days. Spring Breakers drinking and partying and swimming in the pool at 3:00am. People throwing stuff off the balconies at 4:00am. There’s no security here to keep the kids in line and they have one or two people on staff at night. They are completely unable to keep this hotel decent. I spoke to the two managers today and they’re powerless. The owner, Margo, is on vacation and can’t be reached. This place is total trash and the people who run it and own it are irresponsible, disrespectful and ignorant. Don’t waste your time or money.

2 complaints: 1) I did not receive my $200. Security deposit from hotel! My 2 night stay was March 4-6, 2025! I have requested my refund and they sent a reply that the hotel refunded my financial institution. A refund goes against the credit card, not the financial institution! The hotel doesn't have my banking info or contact. Corrupt! Help?!!! 2) my room floor was dirty and I only noticed at the end of the day with my feet black colour! Awful!

The location of this place is the only good thing I can say about this “hotel.” the walls are paper thin, my neighbors were being so loud at 3am, you can hear everything they’re saying, the bathroom tub was moving? Like there was water underneath it or something, really weird, this is by far the worst place I’ve stayed at, and this is a motel, not a hotel. The pictures look far better than what you’re actually getting. So be very mindful if you decide on this place.

This is not a hotel it is a motel! This complex has six buildings and none of the pictures show a motel. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. I can handle my luggage but what if I was not mobile and was booked in this room? Also if I was a single lady travelling this would be quite dangerous. Room was clean service to bring us towels was prompt.

This hotel does not look like the pictures. DON’T GET FOOLED! I booked this hotel knowing that the bar, lounge and breakfast area would be open. The hotel is actually currently under renovations and the whole time construction workers were getting in the way. Lots of noise during the stay and the walls are super thin from the next room over. You could hear everything! My room was cleaned maybe 3 times out of the 7 nights I stayed. I mentioned to the front desk receptionist multiple times that I want my room cleaned and it’s like they kept forgetting. I was always low on toilet paper and no moisturizer is provided. I would only preach for the location as it is close to a grocery store and all the beaches and shops. Parking is also really expensive. I would not recommend this hotel as there are other very nice hotels after exploring the area.

Merry Christmas

The Hotel is under construction there’s no where to park because it’s full containers with construction materials and equipment the pool is out of service and all the common areas are dirty in general.
