I was blown away. The energy and company of our service, drink quality and originality, flavors of our food and dessert. Top tier. I will definetly be back and would definetly reccomend to anyone. The Dj energy, ambiance, and decor also deserve recognition. Perfect spot for any occasion. Ask for Kethel!

I was excited to try this new restaurant, and overall it didn’t disappoint. Although we had to wait a bit for our table and the food took some time to arrive, it was definitely worth it. The rolls were outstanding—especially the acevichado roll, which was my favorite. The beef anticucho was tender and flavorful, and the lomo saltado was excellent as well. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was vibrant with stylish, trendy décor.

Another great place around Las Olas. We had an amzing time. This place has a cool Miami Vibe with Dj and ambiance. The people are all dressed to the 9s. The food was very good and did not feel rushed at all. Bartenders knows what they are doing behind that bar. Friendly and knowledgeable. We had lots of apps that looked so good and tasted good we ate them before taking pictures. But then the main coarse with sushi, slow cooked ribs, Sea Bass all were amazing. Great place. Go and you will not be disappointed.

Alejandro was a great server! The short ribs dish was very delicious. The short ribs were very tender and fell off the bone. I really enjoyed the cocktails too.

This was such a cute little hidden gem in Ft Lauderdale. The vibes inside are great with the DJ, but it was quiet enough that you don't feel overwhelmed by how loud the music is. All of the waiters were very sweet, attentive, and provided quick service. The food came out very fast, and it was pretty good. I thought the menu and the mix of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine were super unique. Drinks were great too. Would recommend if you're looking for a new restaurant to try with friends or even family!

It was my first time at the restaurant for a girls night and I had Diego as my server. He was very attentive, gave the best recommendations, very professional. All the ceviches had great taste and very fresh. All food ordered were good quality. We ordered just about a little of everything. Also dessert was delicious. We will definitely be coming back. Absolutely unforgettable experience We celebrated my sister’s birthday at Sakana Nikkei, and wow, this place delivered on everything. She actually found it on Instagram through @eatwithdami, and I’m so glad she did. From the moment we walked in, the energy was perfect. The host, Gacole, deserves a special shoutout. She truly is the “hostess with the mostest.” Her vibe was amazing, warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. She took the time to make sure we were seated somewhere that felt right for both of us, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal right from the start. Our server was also phenomenal. I wish I remembered her name, but her service was on point from beginning to end. Attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Honestly, the overall customer service was amazing across the board. The ambiance is a solid 10/10. Stylish, intimate, and just the right amount of upscale without feeling stuffy. Now the food… OMG. Everything we ordered was incredible. So flavorful, beautifully balanced, and not overly salty at all. You can really taste the quality and care in each dish. And do yourself a favor and order the grilled octopus. You will not regret it. We’re already planning our return. Sakana Nikkei is officially on our go-back-again list, and I’ll be recommending it to everyone.

An absolute gem — every detail at Sakana Nikkei is done with heart, precision, and flavor! From start to finish, our experience at Sakana Nikkei was nothing short of phenomenal. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, whose kindness and passion for the restaurant set the tone for the evening. Her husband, the chef, crafted one incredible dish after another — everything was clearly made by hand, fresh, and with so much love. I particularly enjoyed that unlike most Las Olas restaurants, there was no blaring music and I could easily hear my company and Eddie as he explained anything we needed to us. Eddie truly elevated the experience. He was knowledgeable, personable, and perfectly paced each course so that the meal flowed seamlessly. His recommendations were spot-on, and you could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. The service was basically white glove, and everything came out quickly and well prepared. We started with the Inca Old Fashioned — a must-try twist on a classic cocktail — followed by the shrimp and pork dumplings, nigiri that was unbelievably fresh and literally melted in your mouth, the hamachi tiradito, short ribs, and yakimeshi with chicken. Every dish was beautifully balanced, vibrant, and bursting with flavor. To finish, we had the Bruselina de Lúcuma for dessert — light, decadent, and the perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. You can feel the care, craftsmanship, and passion behind everything at Sakana Nikkei — from the food to the service to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It’s the kind of place that leaves you already planning your next visit before you’ve even left.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I visited Sakana and really loved it. It’s an excellent place with a great atmosphere and very comfortable setting. Even though I don’t usually eat raw seafood, I found a delicious option: the Seabass. It was amazing — full of flavor and perfectly prepared. Definitely a restaurant I would return to and recommend. Great service and appetizers. However, sushi rice seemed a bit too thick which made it uncomfortable to eat, it barely was fitting in my mouth. Too much rice on the sushi but it was yummy.

I had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious , every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The drinks were just as good, perfectly made and well balanced. The service was excellent from start to finish. Alejandro took care of us, and he truly made the experience even more special with his kindness and great recommendations.
