Hubby took me here for Valentines Day. Omgggg! I'm in love! From the door, the greetings was sweet. I was given a long stem rose. Our waiter was amazing and attentive. We had the prime steak as the main course omg that steak was made in heaven. Appetizer the hummus and pita bread delish!! The watermelon salad was sooo good. The watermelon was juicy, the balance with olives, feta and tomatoes, so good!! The drinks we had was the sail away! Awesome!! We were full and satisfied. The waiter told us there are breakfast options as well and some nights music is played, a whole vibe! So we will return. Thank you for an amazing experience.

We had a wonderful experience last night. The food was excellent, and the view and overall ambiance made the evening truly special. Everything felt thoughtfully curated and high quality. Our server, Nash, was outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome throughout the night. His service really elevated the experience. The only small suggestion I’d offer is regarding the ouzo service. It was served in a standard water glass, but traditionally a tall, narrow glass really enhances both the aroma and the experience. It’s a minor detail, but one that would perfectly match the otherwise refined atmosphere. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that we’d happily return to and recommend.

1st visit! We sat at the bar. The atmosphere is beautiful. Very upscale boho vibe. Our bartender was Christina. She was amazing. Her recommendations were very helpful. We loved the Greek wine she offered us a taste of. We ended up getting a bottle. She nailed it. The daily catch was triple tail! Rare but the absolute best! You have to try the RASPBERRY PASSION VACHERIN for dessert. Best dessert I have ever had. Will be back for sure. All staff engaged & were very friendly. Everyone was smiling.

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had! Elidon took great care of us and made sure we were not only left satisfied with the food but also the service and experience. The chef came out to make sure all was good, will definitely be back

I have to start with the negative - like everything associated with the new Pier 66 complex, this place is very expensive, especially alcohol. $26 dollar martinis anyone? $15 Dollar draft beer? The food, however, was excellent. Our group ran through several items on the shared plate menu and all were outstanding. The meat skewers were particularly good. Pretty inside and there is a very nice outdoor seating area overlooking the marina to the north.

The food, service and ambiance was perfection! I loved that the food was made to be shared so we got to try out more items. The cocktails were good but I wish they were less sweet but this is just my preference. The only negative about this restaurant is the entrance, they need at least one more sign to see where to enter. Unless you are arriving by boat there is no way you would know where the entrance is, I found myself and two other groups of people walk back and forth trying to figure out the main entrance. Heads up it’s by the docks so you have to walk all the way down on the sea wall and then there’s the entrance.

SO GOOD! I've been so excited to try this new place on the water in Ft Lauderdale. It well surpassed my expectations.... especially the staff - Wow, they made sure that our group fully understood the menu and brought everything out at just the right time! We were there celebrating my son's 30th birthday and it couldn't have been more perfect! Food was delicious, drinks were fabulous and the ambience was relaxed and extremely welcoming.

I just had dinner there with my husband. The flavors, the colors and presentation of the food were beautiful and exquisite. The service was exceptional. We felt so taken care of by all of the staff members. We got to try the watermelon salad, muhamara, patatas bravas, catch of the day (triple tail), halloumi, pocket pita… and a few other things. I don’t know what was my favorite because every bite was just perfect and all the plates complemented each other. I had the sail away as a beverage and I wish I could have more of that right now as I write this. So refreshing. Goodness almost left out the dessert- vacherin and the Dubai chocolate…*tears of joy* Can’t wait to be back to try the rest of the menu. Thank you, chef!

Very nice restaurant in Pier 66. This place has a lots of vegetarian options and the atmosphere is really nice. A great place to sit relax and enjoy some great food and a great place for a date or celebration.

My family and I visited Sotogrande for breakfast the first week they opened. We loved it so much that we came back for breakfast 3 times during our short stay in Ft Lauderdale. The food, service, atmosphere, and entire experience was 5 stars. The staff was so accommodating, welcoming, and attentive. For a restaurant that just opened, I was truly wowed by how impeccable our experience was each time. 👏

Sotogrande is a gorgeous Mediterranean restaurant on the marina at the newly renovated Pier Sixty-Six Resort. We sat at the bar and enjoyed cocktails while waiting for a table at Pier Top. We were going to order food as well, but didn’t have enough time, so we will be back to try some of their vegan options. Their take on an espresso martini was delicious and the sunset views from the verandah were gorgeous.

All around impeccable experience here! We were visiting on a birthday trip and made a reservation not knowing what to expect. We were blown away by the food, atmosphere and service. The drinks were lovely and the patio outside was perfect. Everything is family style so it was a great way to taste a bit of everything. Added it to my favorites list in case I’m ever back in the area!

Sotogrande delivers one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in Fort Lauderdale. The steak alone is worth the visit the sauce is so rich, balanced, and deeply flavorful that it can genuinely compete with the famous sauce secrète at L’Entrecôte. What truly set the experience apart, though, was the hospitality the team went above and beyond and even created an off-menu mixed meze plate for us, allowing us to try a wide variety of their mezes which were very tasty the calamari was perfectly cooked tender, crisp, and never greasy. A special mention goes to the pita bread, which is made to order warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious.

We had a great time checking out the Harbour Hour at Sotogrande! The views here are awesome, especially at Sunset. And the food was so good! The menu is inspired by the ancient trade routes and travels around the Atlantic Coast of Southern Spain to the Eastern Mediterranean. My favorite was the Keftedes, which is Lamb, Tzatziki, Tomato & Mint, eaten with pita bread.. So good! The Sangria was delicious as well! Might be the best I've ever had! Harbour Hour is a great time to come try out Sotogrande! The deals are too good to pass up! Follow @cesarslists on IG / Tiktok

We had an absolutely fantastic experience here! The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and perfect for a relaxing night out. The service was exceptional from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed. I ordered the steak dinner, and it was nothing short of amazing—perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and full of flavor. To top it off, the chef personally came out to check on our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great overall dining experience!

Absolutely amazing! I came on a Sunday afternoon/early evening with my husband, and the experience was spectacular. My husband, who’s a chef and quite particular about food, was thoroughly impressed—everything was delicious! The atmosphere had a great vibe, and being right by the Intracoastal added an extra special touch. The food was fresh, perfectly portioned for sharing, and the drinks were expertly crafted. We’ll definitely be back for another date night and to share the experience with family and friends!

Had dinner at Sotogrande after a drink at Pier Top. Host was affable, and our server Brittany(?) was great—kind and professional. The food was good... lowlight was the fries, which are presented on the menu as "hand cut" though they were ostensibly not (so we had them take it back); highlight was the warm housemade pita bread. Overall, a successful Spanish/Mediterranean concept executed with the familiar S FL character.

G
Gina B

Sandra and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and attentive. Sandra was knowledgeable of the menu items and gave great descriptions. They make their own pita bread in house. Sotogrande offers a variety of drink options (cocktails, spirit free, draft/ bottled beer, wine and liquor). The drinks I had were refreshing and delicious. The menu is descriptive and you can easily find dietary restriction details. The restaurant overlooks the Pier Sixty Six marina and offers a great ambiance.

First of all, the place is beautiful, we dined on the outside, next to the marina. Amazing. We found the food to be of great quality, the dishes of great workmanship and with first class ingredients. Very good fusion of different culinary cultures. Excellent. Chef Michael was very kind and warm to come over and chat with us. The cost of the dinner was very good, I was pleasantly surprised. Im brief, all was very good, and highly recommended. It is a must in Fort Lauderdale, much better than the traditional Las Olas restaurants.

Chef Michael is a genius! Inspired Mediterranean fusion dishes, fantastic service with Trey, Vic and the entire team. My go to is Hummas, Watermelon Salad and the best cheesecake you will ever experience. I bring all my friends, super fun every time. Thank you.

Wow! I'm rarely blown away by food and service, but I was at this place. We had a 730 dinner on a Thursday night. We were seated outside at our request, but the weather was muggy, so we requested to move inside, which they accommodated immediately. The food was out of this world. We shared the Babaganoush plate and it was so delicious. It came out with fresh, light pita that was obviously cooked to order, and it was perfect. (I'm about to use the word perfect a few times in this review, so fair warning). Then we shared the Watermelon salad. Wow. It was prepared with mint, olives, heirloom tomatoes and this creamy feta like I've never tasted before. Even my non feta cheese loving date, loved it! For my main, I had the fresh catch (Triple Tail, which I've never tasted before). It was served with a roasted pepper salad (the small peppers, sliced). The sauce that came with it was spicy, but I like spicy, so that worked out. The fish was prepared perfectly and the taste was light and flaky and mild and I wouldn't be opposed to eating this dish every single day for the rest of time. My date had the lamb chops with stewed cherry, pomegranate and scallions. It was a huge portion and he loved every bite of it. We ordered grilled vegetables as a side, and didn't really need it, as the main portions were enough, but we did enjoy them, as they were delicious! We didn't have dessert because what was available did not appeal to us, but I'm sure it would have been delicious too. We would have absolutely chosen the 3 scoops of ice cream with butter cookies, but they didn't have that on the day we were there. I'm sure it would have been perfect too. For my cocktail, we chose the Forbidden Fruit, and it was very yummy and the size was just right, in the most delicate glass. I loved it. The view is of the marina and Pier 66, and it was very beautiful. Overall, I need to go back to this place, often. It was out of this world and I would recommend it, without hesitation.

This restaurant and its serve staff is TOP notch!! Easily one of the best higher end dining experiences I've ever had in Fort Lauderdale and the greater area. Though they recently opened, they seem to have preparing long and hard during all the Pier 66 construction delays prior to opening. I'm not well experienced with Mediterranean food but how our server, Sam introduced the dinning experience / or should I say journey, made it very easy to navigate and try new things. We ordered a bit of everything from the menu but the "baby squid" was the most memorable, unique and DELICIOUS!! (squid stuffed with rice/mussel meat and cinnamon) Cocktails sound simple and similar to other craft cocktails lounges, but they were wonderful and well rounded with some unique flare to them. Definitely enjoyed. Our server Sam, bartender Kyle and the rest of the serve team bringing food were all very knowledgeable about every dish, sauce and drink. You WILL enjoy, ge t full and learn more about the food culture. Can't get any better!! The view is also stunning inside and outside next to the yacht marina. I honestly feel after some time being open, this place will be on every "top restaurant lists in South Florida". Will be back!!!!

After a last minute cancellation and a very disappointing customer service experience elsewhere, Sotogrande absolutely saved the night. We had a large party and they accommodated us without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent and only got better as the evening went on. The food was outstanding. The lamb shank was delicious and cooked to perfection. Both fish dishes were spot on, and the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked exactly right. Our table enjoyed a great variety of wines that paired beautifully with the meal. What truly set the experience apart was the chef coming out to personally greet our party. He was humble, kind, and genuinely appreciative, which speaks volumes about the culture of this restaurant. Great food, exceptional service, and a team that actually cares. We will absolutely be back.

Food is excellent, servers are excellent. Hostesses need to be trained on proper customer service. Rude! We're seated outside in 20 mph winds gusting to over 30 mph. Waiting 25 minutes and no one has taken our order.

From the moment we got to the restaurant until we left it was an amazing experience. Ambiance is great, peaceful atmosphere and elegance that way I like it. The hostess fantastic and our server super attentive and charming. Every single person that worked there and passed by us smiled. You can tell that they love working there and that gets transmitted to the clients, we had the manager come to our table because we were interested to go to the rooftop after dinner. Food is spectacular, we had three different dishes all amazing! Everything about the experience was wonderful.

Sotogrande is located on the property of the newly renovated Pier 66. When you pull up, you can park with the hotel valet and then walk down a flight of stairs that wrap around the swimming pools. You end up in the back of the property where the marina is located. We sat outside on a beautiful cool afternoon for lunch looking out at amazing boats in the marina. The atmosphere is very clean and elegant. They were also kind enough to have heaters outside as it was unusually cool. Our waiter, Nesh, was very kind and had a great sense of humor. He helped us put together a nice meal where we could try several dishes to share. For the appetizer, we ordered the mixed mezze plate which is a sampler of items, including tzatziki, hummus and baba ghanoush along with delicious pita served warm. We then ordered the mixed vegetables which were fresh and delicious. We also shared the fig salad with candied walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette. You can add a protein to the salad - falafel, chicken or shrimp. Sotogrande is a wonderful place to sit, have a great meal and enjoy the view of the new, beautiful property at Pier 66.

Sotogrande is conveniently located in Pier 66, offering amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired, and despite our server’s recommendation of the steak, our favorite dishes were the catch of the day and the lamb. The desserts were delicious, especially the Basque cake. What truly surprised us was the quality of their wines. They have some wines specifically imported by one of the owners, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality. We will definitely return when the weather is cooler to enjoy some bites and their delicious wines. We also recommend making reservations since they are a premium location inside the resort, and seating may be limited. Ambiance 5/5 Service 4/5 Food 3.5/5

You don't have to stay at Pier 66 to enjoy this restaurant. Are you bored with another steakhouse? Over the top so-called dining experience? You desire a uncomplicated simple dining experience? I would say this restaurant fits the bill. Our dinner consisted of appetizers and a salad. We came away satisfied. The old term is true, a picture is worth a thousand words, below you will find real photos off our dining experience. I would definitely visit here again. In fact look for me you might just see me here.

The Good:The space and atmosphere are lovely, creating a welcoming dining experience. The swordfish appetizer is bursting with flavor even without the triple sauce options provided. The service is great and friendly, with staff members checking in frequently. However, being approached five times by the hostess and another staff member might feel excessive for some guests. In terms of pricing, while other reviews mentioned high drink costs, the wine selection was reasonably priced compared to other fine dining spots in Fort Lauderdale. The Bad:The Greek salad, despite being a generous portion for two, was rather bland. The only standout component was the feta cheese, which was delicious but unfortunately sparse.

K
Karen Nordahl

Love the location. Food was good, but a tad bit overdone in terms of trying too hard. What was really bad was layout of the restaurant and the noise level. It wasn’t even close to full and we couldn’t hear our table mates. We had 6 of us and we were sat in a line rather than a round style. It was awkward and not pleasant.

R

The food was OKAY… I’m not sure how lamb chops can be served with tomato paste on top (maybe that’s the chef’s choice) not a great combination in general, not just for my taste, and serving roasted potatoes on top of tomatoes base paste with cheese on top was not a hit. As a matter fact, I sent it back, that’s how not good it was. I hate doing that, but the service and ambiance was perfection! The best part, we ordered every appetizer from the menu and it was Gooooood. Octopus was small but GOOOOOOD. We did get lost wandering around looking for the restaurant until we were guided by a very friendly staff. Pricing was slightly high for the not good potatoes $22 that’s a bit much, and Lamb chops $49. Baklava was EXTREMELY tasty but SMALL $14. Valet service was very accommodating, fast and professional. After reading more reviews, I’ll give another try and come back for breakfast.

We had a late dinner at Sotogrande in Fort Lauderdale with a group of 10 friends, and the food was really delicious — everything we ordered was well prepared and flavorful. The waterfront location and rooftop atmosphere make this a great spot for group dinners or entertaining guests. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a great experience with our server that evening. That said, the general manager handled the situation professionally and made things right by inviting our group to the rooftop for champagne after the restaurant closed, which we appreciated. Overall, it’s a beautiful Fort Lauderdale waterfront restaurant with excellent food and a great setting. We’d return, especially knowing management is attentive and cares about the guest experience.

The food was all overcooked so it wasn’t good and they don’t take cash??? The drinks were expensive, but great. Our server was very good so I tipped the server in cash so this place couldn’t interfere with that part at least. I prefer to use cash so I won’t be back here. Hopefully they will get the food part right, it’s actually not that hard to not make EVERYTHING well done. Oh, valet only so if you want to self park it’s not an option. I explained to the valet EXACTLY where the key card was, then the manager grabbed me as we were entering the restaurant and asked me for the key card??? Typical American service that folks get everywhere these days. Nobody listens, nobody has a clue and nobody can make a decision. Next Thanksgiving we will cook at home. And a restaurant this expensive there it should at least be an expediter in the kitchen. It checks the food before it goes out.

A

Very disappointed with the food and noise level. We started with calamari which was cooked perfectly but the breading was too heavily seasoned and texture was not good. I would say if the breading was lighter like flour or cornstarch or even a light batter would be better in my opinion and not as heavy with the seasoning let the calamari shine as it was killing the flavor. Same can be said for the NY strip which again cooked perfectly but the sauce and seasoning way overpowered the steak. It should compliment it not overpower it. The noise level was extremely loud as well including the duo performing in the bar area.

K
Katerina Friderici

Be careful with your drink order! It’s been one of my favorite go-to places since they opened. They have a really great chef and food has always been great until this past Sunday… We sat at the bar and ordered two mezcal sours from Victor the bar tender. He suggested Casa Amigos because it was the lower tiered option for the cocktail so I agreed but I never imagined that I would subsequently be charged $34 per cocktail where all other cocktails where $24 maximum with top tier brands. Absolutely ridiculous! What a ripoff and what a shame! $190 bill ( with tip) for 4 cocktails, 1 happy hour wine and an order of shishito peppers.

I made a reservation at Sotogrande for my wife’s birthday, but the experience fell short. We were seated at a small table right next to a packed bar - loud, cramped, and not ideal for a special occasion. I asked to be moved and was told no indoor tables were available. There were open tables outside, but we weren’t dressed to sit in the Florida heat and humidity. To make it more frustrating, I noticed a few two-tops available away from the bar, despite being told nothing else was open. The food was okay, nothing memorable, but our server was friendly and attentive. One small thing that stood out - most places acknowledge a birthday with at least a small gesture. When I ordered dessert, there was no candle or mention of the occasion. Not a dealbreaker, but it just added to a night that felt overlooked. Overall, nice setting, good service, but the experience didn’t feel special.

We made a reservation well in advance. We arrived and it immediately felt warm inside the restaurant. The hostess was very sweet when greeting us and was about to walk us back to the table when I made an observation that it was warm inside the restaurant. The hostess then told me as she was walking us back that the AC was out in the entire restaurant and that the maintenance people were working on it. So I asked about an estimated time that it would be fixed in the case that we sat inside and the air turned on we would be fine. She said they really didn’t know so we asked if we could sit outside she said well it’s hot there too. So we suggested outside because we said there’s at least a breeze and we would be OK and there’s fans. We sat outside and the fans were off so we asked the server if there’s anyway they could turn the fans on and he said no they don’t work. I understand that things can happen and things come up that are out of our control, but what is in their control is the ability to reach out to reservations that night making them aware or offering a complementary cocktail to start out for the inconvenience or providing us something so that we come back in the future when the air-conditioning is on etc. The fact that nothing was offered or discussed to help make the atmosphere and the inconvenience of their air being broken in the middle of summer in a brand new restaurant, makes me never wanna go back and try again. It’s sad because the food was good and waiter was so great!! Restaurants really just don’t care about customer experience anymore.

L
Les P

The food here is mediocre at best. Portions are small, prices are outrageous for the quantity and quality; a bottle of beer is $12. Worse yet, the property feels like a valet scam. The property is on its own "island" and self parking is not offered; valet is mandatory. They hide the $37 parking fee until you leave; there are no posted signs with the rate as you approach. Our server said valet is comped when you present your receipt. Nope: when you pick up your car the valet explains that the “normal” $37 parking is reduced to $16 with receipt. Between the lack of transparency and the high markups, the whole experience feels like a calculated cash grab targeting unsuspecting first timers or those who don’t mind overpaying for mediocrity with a faux luxe veneer.

First off the atmosphere was pretty nice, but it was all open air and it was hot.. But the location is nice.. The first issue was that we waited 45 minutes for a table that was empty the entire time and waited. I was surprised to find out that that was the table that we were sat out and wondered why they couldn’t have put plates and napkins on the table in less than 45 minutes. The next issue was our waiter. Well nice was not attentive at all. Ordered one drink drank them quickly, but was never asked for a A new one in fact after we put in our order, the waiter never asked us if we needed anything else or how our food was… As for the food coming from someone who has lived Seville Spain…, The apps were good, not really traditional, southern Spanish food though The potatoes bravas We’re absolutely terrible Extremely soggy taste it like the potatoes came from my microwave bag and the cost $22… My Burger came out cold the bun was soggy The fries were good.. Again, the waiter, not Attentive at all Did not ask us how her food was clearly we did not touch the pastas bravos as they were untouched I assume he knows that these are not good and therefore didn’t wanna ask… Restaurant has potential… They need to work on their customer service In speed in the kitchen… For them to take 45 minutes to get a table ready when that was open from the entire time that we waited. I thought it was pretty ridiculous. I will not be back unless I hear things have changed drastically I tip 20% but my waiter was terrible, but I am a decent person

To my big disappointment, mother's Day dinner went completely wrong. As appetizer, we ordered the watermelon salad....got it served with feta, no cheese mentioned on the menu...as I cannot eat cheese, my husband ate it by himself....no replacement, apology, nothing.... As main dish there was another hick up, I was looking forward to the currant with the baby squid.....got onions instead which unfortunately I do not eat. Be aware you might not get what they offer.
