I went for the first time on my birthday and we loved it! The atmosphere was a 10/10, beautiful, elegant, restaurant. Our waiter was really friendly and attentive. The different cocktails we all ordered were delicious as well as every pasta dish. We ordered, purple peacock, espresso martinis, and passion margarita ($17 each). We agreed that the purple peacock was the best cocktail. They also gave me a free scoop of ice cream. It is a bit pricey but I would definitely come back

They have an incredible happy hour, with lots of food options and great cocktails. Also, the happy hour items are full portions (not a half-size like many other places do when offering a discounted price.) The roasted mussels are particularly good.

Had a dinner program for a large doctors group for work. Have eaten at Timpano’s many times but used their private dining room tonight and wow did they deliver. Joey was our server and he was assisted by Mariana. What an amazing job dealing with such a large group and allowing us to do a presentation that went much longer than we anticipated. Every need was anticipated and any correction requested was immediate. Ocean Prime was my go to but Timpano will be my new go to when I need to do a large or small business dinner. Once again I can’t stress enough about the service we had. And the food was amazing of course. It’s rare in south Florida to get such a consistent match of food and service at a high level. I will be using them again for dinners. The food is outstanding as well. Not one complaint from a very large group. Also this was done in their private dining room which has a very reasonable minimum. They’re very flexible in general to meet needs here.

Wow what an amazing place. Dining both during happy hour and regular dinner service was fantastic. Every bite of food was fantastic. Decor and ambiance were also superb. Timpano will be my go to for all things luxurious!

My husband took me here for my birthday. The food was so delicious. All the wait staff were super attentive. Our favorite dish was the skillet mussels. The mussels were super fresh. The Halibut was very flavorful. The homemade pastas were delicious. We sat outside and the ambiance was beautiful. I felt as if I was sitting in the middle of a garden. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Italian food.

My new favorite restaurant. The pistachio almond crusted branzino was the best branzino I’ve had. The meatballs and sauce were also very, very good. Absolutely love the modern and classy ambiance of this place. Last but not least, the service was great. Mark was absolutely wonderful and made us feel at home while there.

Our servers name was Tiffany, and she was very helpful and well informed of the menu and the good eats. We started off with the caesar salad which was perfect for two. For our entree, we chose the spaghetti carbonara and fettuccine alla vodka. Both meals balanced each other out! The carbonara was on the salty side, so if you aren’t a fan of salty foods maybe stay away from that. The texture of both pastas was exceptional and fresh. It was cooked through well and perfectly al dente. As a finale, they used tarot cards as a fun way to present the deserts to us which we enjoyed very much. We ended up getting the tiramisu which was light and came with an espresso gelato which rounded out our meal perfectly. Portion sizes were absolutely perfect, and we left with no leftovers (and regrets) 😉.

We had an incredible experience at Timpano! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing—flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. We started with the mussels, and hands down, they were the best we’ve ever had. The drinks were just as impressive, thanks to Carolina, our bartender, who truly elevated our night. Her cocktails were not only delicious but perfectly balanced. Timpano is definitely a new favorite—we can’t wait to go back!

He surprised us with special drinks, and when the salmon came out with our pasta and the portion looked a little small, he immediately brought out another one without us even having to ask. For dessert, he made it a moment with a special ice cream and sparklers, and his additional dessert recommendation (the donuts) were on point. Food-wise, we did the Parm to Table experience, which was really fun and unique. The pasta was a bit on the harder side, but it was still tasty. We also tried the meatballs and calamari, and both were really flavorful. For drinks, I had the smoked old fashioned, which was excellent. She had the clover club and loved it. Overall, great vibe, great food, and standout service.

What a five star introduction to our dining experience tonight he was gracious, kind, and welcoming. Our server was.Aicha she was perfect.. She knew the menu well her timing was impeccable. Her service was also five star. They even had a sous chef David stop at our table after we sat down to introduce us to a few items on the menu. We are not VIPs. There was no special treatment given to us for any reason other than this is their approach to service. The menu is quite varied with a wonderful selection of great pasta dishes, great meats, and great seafood we ordered the calamari and meatballs for apps both were outstanding…. for main courses we ordered the chicken Parmesan, Bucatini Bolognese and italian Sausage Cavatelli all were outstanding dishes, prepared, almost as if we were in Italy. Please know that my comments were unsolicited and also we dine out very frequently. Live in both New York and South Florida dine out a lot and are quite discerning diners this meal was five star. I highly recommend you give them a chance.

Me and my hubby have been wanting to go to Timpano for a very long time and was not disappointed. Our server Renic was absolutely phenomenal he made our experience worth every dollar. It’s hard to come across a server that loves what they do and this guy definitely knows all about customer service and completely executed our time there. Food was DELICIOUS ordered parm to table and a ribeye for our entree. Cooked to perfection, wish we ordered 2 orders instead of sharing lol me and my hubby fought for the last piece. Had a great experience at Timpano on Las Olas. The atmosphere is lively and stylish, perfect for a night out or dinner with friends. The food was excellent — the pasta dishes were fresh and flavorful, and everything was beautifully presented. The service was attentive without feeling rushed, and the staff made the whole experience really enjoyable. The location on Las Olas Boulevard also makes it a great spot to walk around before or after dinner. Definitely a place I’d come back to when visiting Fort Lauderdale.

Came tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left the customer service was phenomenal. Chris was our server and not only was he great & attentive, he was hilarious. Gave 10/10 recommendations & nailed every single one. Tonight was our first time here and it definitely won’t be our last. Our drinks were amazing, our food & dessert was to die for. Thank you guys for making tonight special & a great first experience. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Timpano (Thank you to Carlton from the Ritz-Carlton for the recommendation!). We had such a wonderful time. The atmosphere was perfect for a romantic evening. Our server, Renic, took excellent care of us and was extremely attentive. All the food and drinks were delicious. My favorite dish of the night was the crab pasta. It was delicate, yet full of flavor. We will absolutely be going back!

Gotta be honest, and was not impressed with the food, at all. Past was just ok, drinks were good. Now the service was just amazing! And the ambiance as well! Beautiful and romantic place with a cool vibe. Service was second to none. Overall a nice experience, and would definitely recommend. Just don’t go with high hopes about the food. Fried calamari was tiny and oily. Desert also pretty greasy. Pasta was ok, even though the presentation of every dish was impacable.

Went for brunch. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s dark, warm and cozy. I love the decor and wall paper in the back. Very upscale in appearance. The service was amazing. Our server was very nice, always checking on us and our waters were always refilled. The food was pretty good but I thought it was a bit pricy for what it was. I would love to try their dinner menu. The drinks were fantastic though!

The interior is chic with dark wood and Art Deco stylings and wallpaper to match the vibe. The decor throughout has a very dark, old world vibe while maintaining its upscale feel. As you enter the bar to the left, and interestingly, there’s very little dress code (if any) to be in that area. The main dining room does not allow hats, sleeveless shirts, or flip-flops. I found this interesting considering there were casual buttondowns in the bar as well as flip-flops when you entered. But nonetheless, they do enforce the dress code in the main dining room…albeit only separated by a decorative wall you can see right through with the restrooms positioned at the back of the dining room. Our waitress reviewed the menu with us so that we understood their recommendation which is to have one of the meat plates along with a pasta dish or perhaps pick one of those two to share. To start, we decided to have meatballs, a loaf of focaccia, and the burrata. It’s worth noting that this menu changes each month slightly so a particular plating may not be available the next month. This month it was a pistachio butter along with the burrata which was absolutely delicious. We also had meatballs, while they were tasty there was nothing too special about them and the plating was very basic compared to most of the other dishes. For a main course, I chose to have cacio y pepe or as I refer to it cacio no pepe. While the dish was quite tasty I don’t believe there was much, if any, pepper in the dish. Our table also decided to get the sausage and peppers as well as the chicken parmesan. The plating on the chicken parmesan was absolutely beautiful, the flavor and taste was quite ordinary. A very thin pounded chicken cutlet compared to the significant amount of cheese and sauce. The sausage and peppers were very tasty. It was served over a creamy polenta which was maybe the best thing of the night. At this point, we were truly enjoying the food. However, we got to a point where our waitress had not been back, we had no water and our cocktails were totally empty. It took a few minutes before I could even flag someone down and I pointed out that we had no drinks whatsoever on the table. Then upon reordering a round, I learned they had run out of the juice or mixer required to make the cocktail I had earlier, so unfortunately I had to change drinks at that point. This was all a bit frustrating, but I will say that after that the waitress was more attentive and we hadn’t made a big complaint it was a simple request. After this, we decided to go for dessert. Their display is very cute and I won’t ruin it, but perhaps rather than prepping the dessert menu the way they do their service could be a bit more consistent. For dessert, we opted for tiramisu which I’ve had before. It never lets down and is absolutely delicious. It’s definitely worthwhile. Overall, the food is quite tasty. From a service perspective, you’ll have a generally good experience here. You have a mix of families as well as couples and gatherings of friends. Most people are dressed for a night out downtown, while some of the families are a bit more relaxed if they have their college or teenage kids with them. And one last thing to add, but we did not order it. There is always a special cheese wheel item. They make it at the table and it’s a unique experience that many tables take advantage of. Essentially, they toss the pasta with the cheese in the cheese wheel in front of you. Perhaps you’ll try it on your next venture there! Strong 3 of 5 star recommendation overall. Give it a go! PRIVATE DINNING REVIEW I recently hosted my birthday dinner in one of the private rooms at Timpano. The room itself is absolutely beautiful , the aesthetic is warm, elegant, and perfect for an intimate celebration. It truly set the tone for a special evening. However, the overall experience didn’t fully meet my expectations. While the staff was responsive and professional, there were a few things that were disappointing. I ordered the Chicken Marsala, and unfortunately the food, in general, was not as impressive as I had hoped, especially considering the cost of hosting a private event. Additionally, I hired a decorator for the room, and she was only given 30 minutes to set up. We were informed that additional time would require an extra charge. When you’re already spending thousands on a private dinner, that felt unreasonable and took away from the experience. The space is stunning and the team communicates well, but for the price point, I expected a higher overall value , particularly when it comes to food quality and event flexibility.
