Nice vibe. Enjoyed the relax atmosphere. All staff were very nice, pleasant. Attentive and welcoming. The food amazing. We had the Boston Roll and the Rock and Roll with a side of Hibachi rice with shrimp, chicken and steak. Omg. My sista from another mister had the coconut martini. She was impressed. Loved it. I had and sorry don’t remember the name a Japanese beer that was only like 3.5 % and it was light and nice. I was able to enjoy a good mean and catchup with my sista and vibe. I really enjoyed this place.
We were here on a trip for our seniors! Upon coming in the Host was very nice and had a great sense of humor! We were about to get and leave after our bad experience with the first waiter(Hosea) he was a fast talker, he told us that they were out of items when truly he didn’t want to fix it. We asked him to reiterate what he said because he was talking so fast and his response was “ I already told you ma’am, it’s on the menu” we were about to leave when Gabriel(Bartender, New Waiter) stepped in and said he would take care of us and that he did! He was phenomenal! And everything was great! Gabriel was a breath of fresh air for our entire table! We are grateful! I have a shellfish allergy so they pooled my food in the back and brought it back out to us with a pretty presentation. Both chef’s for us were Great and such a great time! They had us dancing
Four of us went for lunch, the price is very reasonable with good portion. The taste is great, meat is tender. I really like Thai Mango with chicken which has plenty of mongo to my liking. The staff are very attentive and nice.
The food and service was amazing. The food is well portioned (you will have leftovers), the staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. We loved it and have dine 3x since our initial visit. We sat inside, the seating was comfortable and our server was nice as well! See you all again!
Great spot for a party of 8 to celebrate a special occasion as my family chose to do for my granddaughter's 18th B'day. 🎊🎂💝
I've been here a few times and had my best experience my most recent visit. Everything was fresh and good! Alexander is a solid server! I'd recommend coming here and asking for him to serve you.

Beautiful interior, service was great. There are a lot of options on the menu. Dinner was quite tasty.
I visited Red Door Asian Bistro & Hibachi for my sister-in-law's birthday celebration, and we all had a wonderful time. My wife and I arrived first and sat at the bar, and took advantage of and thoroughly enjoyed their all day everyday happy hour specials, which included both drinks and food. Our bartender/mixologist, was Richard. He was very friendly and inviting. After our party arrived, we sat down with our waiter, Jay. One of, if not the best, waiters I have ever had the pleasure of being seated with. He took excellent care of us and had the ladies at my table smiling and laughing the whole time. The experience was amazing, therefore I will definitely frequent this establishment. Thank you, Richard, for getting the party started, and thank you, Jay, for taking it home. You guys are literally the best. The Red Door is lucky to have you, and so was I.
My wife and I had a great time here on her birthday, we are visiting from Alaska and always try hibachi in the places we visit. The atmosphere was relaxing and elegant, the food tasted amazing! Our server Telmuraz was attentive and made sure we were taken care of.
We arrived relatively late and they still gave us excellent customer service. The food was tasty and the chef provided a good show. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The location of the restaurant is the best and the outdoor seating area is nice. The Friday night is full of people and the hosts were very quick settling us down in the table. The waitress is very friendly and gave us lot of time to decide on the order. We enjoyed our meals ...
Flew in for the day to keep my flight status. A dear friend picked me up at the airport to hang out for the day. We landed at Red Door for Happy Hour. Nothing like a Saturday Happy Hour menu till 7:00 and the food was great. We had Edamame, Gyoza Dumplings, Spring Rolls, Filet Mignon Tacos, Satay Chicken, 6 pc Sashmi and pizza with Spicy tuna, avocado, cream cheese, caviar. Everything was delicious and Eduardo tool great care of us. Loved the decor and the option of sitting at a table or at a hibachi grill. They have both inside and inside seating. Great atmosphere and would visit again.

All in all, great evening. The service was great and the servers were nice! We went to for a hibachi dinner. We had to wait for an hour from the moment we were seated until the chef arrived, because they had only one chef for the entire restaurant. What?? The food was good and the chef was nice. Hibachi show was decent. Nothing to write home about. At the end, the bill was not exactly accurate and we had to ask them to not charge us for something they did. Again, all in all good experience. Probably will not come back for hibachi. Maybe for other things.

TL; DR: Very nice place with top notch food but a little pricey. Definitely a good date night spot; maybe not your weekly go-to. My first experience at Red Door. I was intrigued by the menu and walked in on a Tuesday night. It was moderately busy The atmosphere is nice. The lights were low but the overall impression was elegance and simplicity. There's outdoor seating and a combination of booths and tables sharing space with a nice bar. Further back, there are hibachi tables. I didn't go back there but I could here them as they worked their magic. The service was OK. It was just slow enough to be noticeable but not slow enough to be frustrating. They were attentive but not hovering. The food is the mission, though, and they did an excellent job. I had a simple order - hot and sour soup, Singapore noodles (extra spicy). The soup was hot, fragrant, and rich. The noodles were delicious. The curry was subtle and the spice level was excellent. The serving size was perfect - I didn't finish it but I didn't feel like I was wasting food. Pricing is higher than I'd normally pay but it's on par with all restaurants on Las Olas. For my meal, no drink, and with tip, I spent just under $50.
We were the only customers for lunch on a very hot Sunday, also low season. The Chinese food we ordered was hit and miss. Scallion pancakes and Peking duck bao' were really good. The rest of our dishes not so much. The "dimsum" were awful, seemed to be cheap frozen food. Perhaps the grilled dishes etc are better along with the cocktails. I was not happy to see an 18% gratuity automatically added to our bill along with a credit card use surcharge. That's just wrong! However this seems to be a new norm with restaurants in South Florida. Service was good, and non-alcoholic drinks were refilled without being asked so points for that.
March 2nd was my daughter's 12th birthday and she loves her hibachi. I saw this place and thought it looked really nice. The service was great. We had Katie(server) and Krystal(chef) they were great and chef was funny. My only hangup is for me to spend over $200 for my bill with gratuity included, which I'm totally fine with and I appreciate that Katie circled it and told me verbally it's there for her and chef. However the portion sizes for the price should definitely be readjusted. We left still hungry. For $48 to get steak and shrimp i should've definitely gotten, and to pay extra for fried rice WASN'T ENOUGH, wasn't enough veggies either. The food was good just NOT ENOUGH FOR THE PRICE I PAID. $18 FOR 5 FRIED GYOZA IS INSANE, SHOULD AT LAST GET 6. THANKS KATIE AND KRYSTAL FOR GREAT SERVICE. BUT TELL YOUR OWNER'S THEY ARE CHEATING PEOPLE WITH THEIR PRICES AND NOT GIVING ENOUGH FOOD. The fried rice you see in my photo was spit between 6 people and it wasn't nowhere near what I've gotten at multiple hibachi restaurants

I’ve been here 3 or 4 times before usually when I’m here on business. Usually get carry out but today decided to dine-in. It was around 6pm and the place was completely empty. Not one customer… and I was about to find out why. Sat at the bar and ordered the steak & shrimp hibachi. The price was a little steep but usually there’s a ton of food at hibachi places. When my plate came out I was shocked. The portion size was embarrassingly small. There were about 8-10 pieces of steak and maybe 6-7 shrimps. The “veggies” was literally broccoli and shaved zucchini. For this plate, plus a side salad that isn’t included in the picture because it came out late (and the lettuce was disgusting) and 2 watered down Coke’s… my bill was $58. Does that seem like $58 worth of food to you? Lastly… they automatically slap 18% gratuity on to your bill PLUS a 3% credit card fee that they hide pretty well. I’ve never seen a restaurant do that before. I was a solo customer who sat at the bar… why is a tip included? I really want to like this place but I think I’ve visited for the last time. Not worth the price and the added “fees” left a sour taste.

The restaurant was extremely dirty, and neither our cook nor our server was friendly or welcoming. The only person who was kind and professional was the chef who came out to bring our soup she smiled, made a joke, and was pleasant for those 2 minutes she was with us. Our server was rude and impatient with us and partly because she couldn't hear us and that is entirely their fault for the loud music they were playing. She was also rude with the cook over a misunderstanding regarding the “L” (lunch) plate on her notes. We live locally and chose this restaurant to bring family visiting from out of the country, which made the experience especially disappointing. Additionally, the server attempted to engage in conversation only when presenting the check and tip, which felt disingenuous. Overall, we were not happy with the experience.

This has been the worst experience I have had at Hibachi. We travelled from the Northeast for warm weather to celebrate my son’s birthday and it was an absolute disaster. My sister did not receive her drink, my husband and dad had to remind them of their rice multiples times before it finally arrived when he was almost done with his shrimp and salmon. I brought a birthday cake and asked them to keep to of course part take in the celebration. At the end of the night we asked for the cake and it was brought to us the same way we brought it in. In the box, covered. No utensils or plates, no staff - mind blowing truly. We asked for refill on water at 8:01pm and at 8:23 we still have not received water. We waited 30 minimum to receive our bill, with at least was correct, the one thing they got right tonight. I had extremely high expectations and my family and I were left really disappointed. The manager realized our dissatisfaction and offered a $30 gift for our next visit. But unfortunately, the damage was already done.
My experience at Red Door Asian Bistro was disappointing. The food was consistently below average. The sushi roll looked and tasted like supermarket sushi. The rice was loose, the fish cuts were poorly executed, and there was no freshness or balance in texture or flavor. The tonkotsu soup lacked everything that defines a proper tonkotsu. The broth was thin, without richness or depth, and it came with only three small pieces of pork that were dry and forgettable. No creaminess, no body, no authentic flavor. The tom yum goong, as shown in the photo, was watery with oil separated on the surface and very few ingredients. It had only three shrimp and lacked the characteristic sour, spicy, and aromatic profile. Overall, one star. I will not return. My mistake was trusting the menu instead of checking the Google reviews first.
The bathroom smelled like a sewer the table we sat at was dirty with food crumbs on the chair and floor and table. The plates on the table had strains of hair on them. The chairs were greasy and needed to be wiped off the soup tased old and gritty like it was the last of the bottom of the pot. Hon the chef & mngr Richard was RUDE & HORRIBLE with garbage customer service! He gave me & my husband kid size portions. When we requested & was paying for extra food, he gave the other 2 ppl that were sitting at the table the wrong proportion & refused to acknowledge it when we brought it to his attention he ignored us we’ve been to this establishment before we weren’t trying to get anything free, Hon was being LAZY, rushing and inattentive because he was ready to go they closed at 11 we got there at 9:50pm. The food was not cooked properly. He threw half of our fillet & chicken down the hole on the grill when we asked Richard the Mngr to remove the one meal that my husband didn’t eat as he loss his appetite due to the disappointing service Richard was rude & refused and called the police on us ONLY for the police to side with us and he ended up doing exactly what we asked him to do in the FIRST PLACE remove the ONE meal out of the TWO kid size portions that they served us. That ONE MEAL was untouched and my husband told HON he didn’t want it. We were not rude to any of the staff, Hon or Richard but even after the police we’re unnecessarily called like we were some outrageous people we still tipped our waiter despite the manger Richard not wanting to acknowledge the mess up from his words “his family” he had no customer service whatsoever. Even the police officers stated after looking at the food they wouldn’t pay for it. We frequent Hibachi restaurants and we are familiar with how Hibachi is portioned and the order of operations. I will no longer patronize this business and have informed family, friends and business partners NOT to eat here!! Check out my review on TIKTOK! RICHARD and HON NEEDS HOSPITALITY TRAINING!

Food is garbage, service sucks. Have gone two times. Recently girlfriend ordered hibachi with seafood allergy , I went to pick up for her. It did not come with soup or salad , did not bring yum yum sauce that was paid for extra. Also brought shrimp in both orders when both had seafood allergy request because we know restuarants get mixed up so easier to order both the same, and they refused the refund the money or offer any solution. Comment was “the shrimp is on the side” then after complaining to them and him saying he’d discuss with owner to refund us … he had an employee get on the phone and Ask for a doctors note, when in the receipt it clearly says seafood allergy for both orders. Absolutely 0 professionalism from the manager, refused to get on the phone to resolve the issue. 80$ meal for no soup no salad and inconsumable because allergy.
Arrived on time for a 6:00 PM Sunday reservation for five, including two children. Despite the restaurant not being full, our dinner order wasn’t taken until 6:20 PM due to an internal rule about waiting to fill tables that wasn’t explained. Another table that arrived after us was served first, and the hibachi chef didn’t come to our table until after 7:00 PM. The manager offered to comp appetizers, but only two of the three were removed from the bill. I would have shared this feedback directly with management, but the Contact Us link in the feedback email does not work.
It was 10 of us for hibachi. An our chief was horrible. Couldn’t preform any tricks or perform any entertainment for the table I would never come back and not recommend anyone to come. Just read all there bad reviews for the past year and that will tell you all. Nothing special about there food. We didn’t come to this restaurant just to eat we came for the experience which was not performed. Stick with Benihana‘s
