This is a super fun place to go after eats somewhere else. I highly recommend it for those who love the outdoors.

My friends and I had lunch at the bbq truck on Sunday and it was delicious! Turkey sandwich with slaw and fries, my new fav. The girls had a cheeseburger and a brisket pizza, they loved it. We will definitely be back to try out something new

I coordinated a corporate event with Rusty Nickel and everything was fantastic! Dalton and the staff were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. Everyone had a great time - and the set up was perfect for people to relax, chat, and socialize. We're already planning our next event there!

Dalton is the man. The guy is on top of his game. Great guy, great bartender!

I Was there for a private party, the staff was very professional and kept the party in the area of the private party with security to protect us they had other private parties there too and they where not allowed to cut through are party. They kept everything safe for us. i’m sorry, but I cannot rate the food because I did not eat there. I just went there for the party and drinks. The drinks were awesome.

Best kept secret. Update : All was great until the day shift. Ladies insert gratuity and create erroneous prices. Establishment is still great. Just watch your tab and unfortunately check your receipt if you pay with cash. Everyone's great, but there's a bad seed

Fun local vibe! Great people, well priced drinks, specialty cocktails and delicious food truck food! Loved seeing all the happy pups enjoying the sunshine! Great place to have a relaxing drink and enjoy the spring weather. Rusty Nickel is the go-to spot for entertainment, fun, drinks, food and games. The service is awesome, the atmosphere is awesome and it's just an all-around great place to hang out for a good time.

Fun place! Nice indoor and outdoor seating options! Music was a little loud (deafening!) inside ... but staff were super nice and responsive in service on a busy night! Good amount of large TVs, so was also a great place to watch sports!

Love this place. Three different areas that cater to the vibe you’re after . Cocktail lounge is you want a little quiet intimate environment … outside if you wanna enjoy the music and beautiful weather, and bar inside with picnic seating for bigger groups . Have not had the food but great cocktails and service !!

Me and my family spent the whole Sunday afternoon at this place and we had a blast. The place is huge for large groups to hangout indoors or for kids to have fun in the green outdoor play area. The manager and his staff were very friendly and customer oriented and drinks and food were outstanding. The fig and pig pizza was so delicious as well as the churros. I highly recommend this place if you want to have fun with a large group of friends or family. Hidden gem :)

If you love good Texas BBQ in a great beer garden atmosphere, this is your spot. The ribs and smoked chicken are really good. The potato salad and coleslaw are more than placeholders on the plate. They’re almost worth ordering double portions by themselves. Five stars and I’ll be back for more soon.

The taco truck outside was amazing!! (Try the asada buritto). We will def come back for some of their events.

We hosted a corporate event at the Rusty Nickel Icehouse this past Tuesday, and it was fantastic. It’s a beautiful outdoor venue with a great vibe. We enjoyed incredibly delicious steaks while sipping plenty of Montucky. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us—friendly, attentive, and truly professional. What a great spot for a corporate event!

First time here and gotta tell you the service is impeccable. Dalton behind the bar is the man. Remembered my order and just confirmed. Very impressive in a world that has forgotten customer service. I will definitely return for that alone.

Fun place for a work outing. The staff were all super friendly and accommodating. The place is big! Lots of place outside to hang around and chill or play Cornhole. They have a full bar and food trucks. The music is spot on as well. I would come back here. And Dalton was great!

Missed the food truck (on the left as you walk in) and made it into the covered open walled bar area. Found the food and had the brisket plate. Fantastic is the best way to describe. Enough fat for flavor but not so much it was chewy. The sides were great and plenty for the price. Lots of seating and a big kids area, also pet friendly. Great atmosphere and overall definitely an experience to return to!

Cool outdoor beer garden vibe. There are two different bars along with a food truck. The food truck is where all the BBQ magic is happening. The drinks are your typical drinks, they're priced decently. The draft beers are priced well and they have several drink specials. There is also an arcade, but it was definitely the least exciting part of Smokestack 1948. The main reason I'm docking one star is because the two bars are not in sync and they hold your card if you open a tab. Awesome beer garden with lots of outdoor bench style seating. I'd recommend the ribs and fries. The fries were soooooo hot and crispy with some type of seasoning on them.

This was my first time going here, and it was an experience. Dallas Stars viewing party made for fun but loud time. Parking was a little difficult but not the worst. The over head speakers inside were mixed a little loud for being right over people eating. Other than that the people are great and the food was good not great. I blame that on how busy the truck was. I ordered the loaded tots. Chili was perfect but the tots were a bit over cooked. Still worth it. Definitely worth giving this place a shot. I know I will be going again.

This place is fun if you like the bar scene, I am not sure if they have food, but the drinks and service are pretty good, depending on the time and crowd.

Update: I love the location and the atmosphere. Its really a great place for so many group types; whether it’s just you and your SO, your college friends, your adult friends, family, your grandparents, it’s pretty neat how they set it up to appeal to so many. They have a place for you to entertain yourself or to distract your kids so you can have a good night. Their pizza is pretty delicious although i really wish they had some thin crust options bc I’m just not a big fan of deep dish. My husbands fave is the…the folks serving the pizza are super friendly and informative. They have a pretty good selection of beer and beers on draft. The bartenders in the big space are even friendlier! The cocktail space sets a great mood and the cocktails set an even greater mood. They are delicious. They have great whiskey/bourbon cocktails for the fall and spring which is my bias Spirit. The only two things that would help them out: 1) better advertising and 2) nicer cocktail bartender. I normally wouldn’t pick at this bc substance can be better than excellent service, but i really want this place to make it so honesty is required so improvements can be made. The cocktail bartender James is just so unfriendly. At first i thought it was that he may have been profiling me and not being friendly bc i looked super casual, but ive gone back a few times and watched person after person try and make small talk with him as they figured out their drink and he was so straight faced and unhelpful. He didnt smile and rarely asked if he could help someone as they stood. Folks go a long Way for a good cocktail lounge experience and good cocktails. But you have to have both! March2020: How to give a proper review of this place?? A few businesses packed into a single punch that appeals to Couples, friends, AND, Families? I dont know how this “food court” managed to do it, but it did. It took us entirely too long to come visit, foolishly thinking it was just some small dive bar catered to college kids, but it most definitely was not. Didn’t expect it to be so big!! It was great weather so we walked over and order our food, a tab was opened that we could carry over to the other areas. We ordered a couple drinks (all delicious) and then another couple because they were worth it. James knows how balance flavor, sweetness and alcohol so that you get your worth from the price tag. (Appreciate that they have seasonal drinks and lots of whiskey/bourbon cocktail options.) The area has picnic tables, indoor seating, a play field, an area for live music, outdoors string lights, good wall art, and a two minute walk From home. I will be back again!!

The friendly bartenders and the laid-back environment ensure a great time, whether you're sipping on a refreshing beer or trying one of their creative cocktails. The menu offers a variety of drinks, and the prices are reasonable, falling within the $$ range. Rusty Nickel IceHouse is a great place to unwind, catch up with friends, or watch the game.

unfortunately going to ask people to pass on this restaurant solely because the customers here feel entitled to fight and jump whoever. Claiming they know the owners you’d think the owner would come out and tell me their names. Anyways beware! These men in the photos will try and fight whoever tries to dispel misinformation. So & So Did Not Punch the Bathroom Door please don’t spread misinformation if you’ve been drinking. Instead the bar invites in people who escalate and jump the fence after they’re done.

My mom came in on 4/11 with friends and what started out as a great time turned into a full blown nightmare. My mom was roofied and was sitting at her table with her head down to try and wait until her friend was sober enough to drive home. She was then approached by who we found out was the owners wife and was told they needed to leave and made a HUGE scene and escorted them to her car. Never once were they asked if they were ok or needed any help or if they were even ok to drive. My mom was having a literal medical emergency and instead of making them feel safe and providing help they had them removed. Overall did not provide a welcoming environment and would not recommend to single women to trust this establishment as a safe place to frequent. I ended up taking my mom to the ER and everything is ok now. Will not be going back and hope the owner can get his wife in check.

The "Smokehouse" cheeseburger..$8.99 It's a joke... Im my opinion, the meat was very similar to the frozen patties from the grocery store. The atmosphere was ok but it can't make up for the less than mediocre food. 30 bucks for this ... never again.

When I went there to play pool on several counts, there was a group of three men who consistently harassed me. They would circle around me while I played and several times touched me without my consent and tried to buy me drinks I did not want. I made bar staff as well as security privy to this information. After several complaints about these group of three men, the owner Dalton or manager (unsure of specific title) displayed misogynistic behavior and told me I was in the fault and banned me. Apparently, complaining about being unsafe makes you a problem. If you are a woman alone do not go there. They don’t care about safety or clientele. If you want a good pool hall go to Rusty’s billiards. The tables are top tier in comparison and the drinks are cheaper if that’s what you’re wanting as well. Being a woman I’m very disappointed with the level of security this establishment provides as well as the management who runs it. Do better and stop catering to predators.
