Super friendly and helpful staff. It’s not the topical burger kind this Burger King has really made a come back. I now prefer it over McDonald’s any day. They really go above and beyond to get to know the normals and treat everyone great

Here I am in Fortuna CA eating at Buger King. The store was clean, my food was fresh, order came quickly, and employees pleasant. I don’t eat at fast foods restaurants often, but usually tables are dirty. This one was well taken care of.

Thank you to the staff today Sunday, July 28th around 3pm!!!! Even when your short staff, you still had a smile and apologized to us, customers. And my food was hot and delicious. It dis not taste rush. Sorry you all were short staff but I appreciate you honesty and friendliness. I did not mind the wait. 🙏🥰

I love this place! I had to remove one star however because I ordered a 10 piece chicken nugget and there was only 9 chicken nuggets in there. I swear I didn't eat one!!!

It's Burger King in Fortuna - there aren't going to be a lot of surprises. It is odd that the McDonald's next door is always busy and the burger king is always empty. Is it just the left turn thing? Did the burger king murder a bunch of teenagers in the 80s? It's probably better than the McDonald's. I mean, not much, but it's not nothing.
Drive thru had everyone put to the front. The team had either a whiny voice or a wanna be city accent that was non understandable. The food soggy and flat. Burger King work on your PR skills and the visual presentation of your food

On October 13, 2025, I went through the drive-thru at Burger King to order an Impossible Whopper meal. When I got home, I discovered that the patty was undercooked and raw inside. That evening, I called the restaurant to report the issue, but no one answered. I left a message and never received a call back. The next day, October 14, I went to the restaurant in person to request a refund. The manager on duty, Malique, who said he was the highest-ranking manager at that location, told me I had to come inside because he didn’t want to “up his drive-thru time.” After being inconvenienced by having to enter the store, I was then told that he would not issue a refund. During our conversation, I mentioned that I have a severe dairy allergy and that I did not want to reorder another Impossible Whopper after what had happened. Malique responded by saying, “Why are you even coming to Burger King if you have a dairy allergy?” His attitude and comment were unprofessional, disrespectful, and discriminatory toward someone with a medical condition. I also asked for the contact information of the district manager so I could report the incident, and he refused to provide it. This entire experience was frustrating and concerning. Serving raw food is a serious health and safety issue, and the way this situation was handled reflects extremely poor customer service. I hope corporate management reviews this incident promptly to ensure accountability and prevent similar treatment of other customers in the future.
Hmmm.... not sure what happen from the time the person circled 2 patties and bacon on the wrapers, to them making two regular whoppers? This is what happens when they get high at work. 🙄

They didn't put any lettuce on any of the whoppers. They didn't say they were out. No one should be spending money on incomplete food items.
looks like they stopped fixing this place up 20 years ago. The people that worked here were super rude. Food was sloppily thrown in the bag. Would definitely not recommend.
Food is not good, burnt, and made completely wrong. Missing all veggies, cheese was added to all burgers ordered and none came with it but still got charged. Checked bag in parking lot had no sauces that were ordered. This location is just bad. Lady at speaker couldn’t get a simple order right and left in the middle of the order. Not worth your time or money. Go somewhere else.
If you order on the app and then they don't end up having what you ordered, they don't give a refund.
Absolutely terrible. I was traveling with my 9 yr old and 7 yr old. Aside from the fact I had to use your stupid self service to order said food. I didn’t know I was an employee. My name was never called, in the end I had to go up and ask for our food after waiting over 20 minutes only for them to say “oh here it is behind the counter.” The clerk offered to remake the order but by then my kids were restless and we were on a time crunch so we ate your lukewarm slop. We definitely will never be returning to BK. If I could give zero stars I would.
Had to wait 10 minutes to order 1 meal. Had to wait 25 minutes to get my meal... Only got it after I noticed a person who order 15 minutes after me got there meal before. When I asked why the grabbed a hamburger and said it was mine. After eating my meal I headed to my car and an employee approached my vehicle saying they had my order that was definitely not what I ordered. The crew where on their phones and didn't give a damn about customers
Staff members are totally rude. Cuss at the customers. For refunds. I had to wait forty minutes just to get burger and fries and a small drink. Very rude customer service. I was the second person in line, and it took forty minutes just to get my order. Worst burger king service ever. They almost made me late to work.
This burger king has no more cashiers in lobby to take my order. Instead, they’ve decided to install funky kiosks. The final straw for me was not being able to use U.S. Federal Reserve Notes to pay! Instead of money, Burger King was trying to force me to succumb to paying with credit/debit card. At that point I was done and walked out. I won’t be back until they get their minds right and accept money.
