We'll definitely be back... simple traditional Genoese dishes... a trattoria nestled in the woods, a great location for a stroll... the kids played freely outside after eating...

I visited Armando's twice between October and November 2025. The restaurant is reached after a short walk, almost through the woods. The pansoti with walnut sauce are from another planet! The best I've ever had, which is why I returned shortly after. The service was quick and courteous. The wines offered were good. The other dishes were also good, but I'm particularly drawn to the pansoti. Definitely recommended.

A beautiful place to enjoy a lovely lunch or dinner outdoors. Dogs are welcome on a leash. The area is cool and there's plenty of space for parties. The peach jelly is truly superb!

Excellent local Genoese cuisine in the hills behind Sori. All the dishes we tried were delicious: cheese focaccia, fried anchovies, meat ravioli. The location is simple, but very pleasant, given the perfect temperature for summer evenings. You might even encounter passing wild boars...

We had a fantastic, typical Ligurian dinner with bread, starter, a pasta and a meat/vegetarian course and dessert. We have never eaten such a great pasta! The service was extremely friendly, fluent in French, Italian and English and took wonderful care of us.

Beautiful and relaxing location, nestled in the Sori forest. Delicious and plentiful food, all high-quality and typically Ligurian. The staff were kind, friendly, and approachable, especially the young, curly-haired man who served us. Very fair prices. Highly recommended!

In Sori and the surrounding villages, you'll find several trattorias, and Armando is one of the best-known and most popular. It offers "genuine and sincere" local cuisine in an unpretentious yet thoroughly enjoyable setting. Fresh pasta, meats, and mushrooms, as well as excellent focaccias and even stewed snails for those who enjoy them. Reservations are recommended. I highly recommend it.

A good family-run trattoria serving simple but well-prepared traditional cuisine. Pansoti, minestrone, asado, and stewed snails—a hard-to-find dish. Excellent focaccia with stracchino and gorgonzola. The zabaglione spumone for dessert is also delicious. The owners' daughter offers a warm and friendly welcome.

A charming place accessible only on foot via a narrow path in the woods. We ate reasonably well; the pansoti and focaccia were very good. The table was a little dimly lit, near the trees outside the canopy; the location was nice and well-defined, but it was a bit difficult to finish dinner.

Surrounded by nature, good value. I recommend the mixed antipasto, cod, pansotti with walnut sauce, Panarello cake, and focaccia with stracchino cheese. The other dishes are good, though, although the ravioli were a bit overcooked and the pesto wasn't exceptional, unfortunately.

Probably one of the worst veal tonnato dishes. The steak was ordered rare, but it arrived on the grill well done. The bill was €55 for an appetizer, steak, side dish, and coffee, which was definitely overpriced given the quality of the food.

Very charming atmosphere. Service is average, albeit slow. Food is okay, but no wow factor; it feels like they've adapted to the culinary standards of foreign tourists. Also, the prices are high and portions are small. Overall, a neither-positive nor-negative experience.
