This place gave me great customer service from the start to the end. What was unique is my order was to go. This was my first time at the restaurant and I was not disappointed at all. I order so much food to try because the menu was full of good stuff and wanted to try it all. I was not disappointed by any of what I ordered I kid you not. .y family enjoy it even my kids ranging from 3-11 lol. Bring a big appetite and expect to take food home if you stay to eat. The young lady that took my order that night helped me make so many great choices. This place is the epitome of bbq and plenty 😋. I will return! I definitely would give more then 5 stars if I could.

Quick, clean, fun place to hang and watch a game or more! We ordered on the spot for a party of 5 and got take out.. within less than 10 mins our food was ready. Impressive since the place was busy, but they have a good system going here. Friendly staff and good for groups or solo. Their tri tip sandwich is really good. Make sure you get their BBQ sauce. Parking can be busy, but there’s always someone leaving, so it’s worth the wait. The fries portion is large and plenty, also so good!!

The tri-tip sandwich truly stands out as the highlight of the entire menu! 💯 I always appreciate the convenience of free refills and the remarkably fast service. To complement the meal, the selection of cold beers is always refreshing. 🍺 Plus, their fresh salads add a delicious and healthy touch to the experience. I consistently enjoy my dining moments here.

I just want to thank management! We came in with a large party (25 students)....And even though things were a bit chaotic (our fault, not Dog House Grill's)....The management took care of us. They tried to make us happy - whatever we needed. I'm bringing back students on Nov. 24th....Just because management treated us so well. (Yes, the food was good, prices reasonable etc.) Thank you Dog House Grill!

I took my grandkids to BJ it was a joke. The following day I took them to dog house and told them this is the best restaurant to come to eat. The employees value their customers and are always busy making sure the customers are happy. He is 16 when I asked what he thought about dog house he said the best restaurant ever! We agree 👍

I had an amazing experience here! The tri tip sandwich was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the ribs were fall-off-the-bone perfection. Every bite had that perfect smoky taste you can only get from real barbecue pros. The customer service was phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They made sure our table had everything we needed and checked in just the right amount. If you’re looking for incredible food and top-notch service, this place absolutely delivers. Only bad thing is there isn't a location in the Bay Area. The Tri-tip sandwhich with onion rings was absolutely amazing 👏🏽! 10 out of 10.

It's great! The food is good. The prices for what you get is good to me. Try the tri-tip sandwich. My wife loves it and so do the kids. My daughter went for a burger the last 2 times we've gone and loves them too. I eat a rack of ribs, usually by myself. And we all share a large basket of fries and some onion rings. Seating can be tricky. You seat yourself and there is a line of booths. On the bar side you get a waited table and behind it you grab a seat if available. And it's self serve you order your food by the front door and listen for your number. Outside seating is available if that your thing. Great place, my wife requested it for her birthday and for Valentine's Day this year.

It was my first time visiting this place and I’m happy I did. I heard great things about it and that’s bc their foot is great. Solid portions, great prices, and fast service. You can get your food for dining in full service or to go. The fries and bbq sandwich I had were great and they had a solid selection of brews. I highly recommend checking them out.

This was my first time visiting, and I was very disappointed. The service at the front counter was worse than McDonald’s, which is unacceptable for a restaurant expecting repeat customers. We chose a table near the window ourselves, and it was dirty. No one came to clean it, and we eventually had to ask for it to be wiped down. Even then, they didn’t seem happy that we asked. Employees repeatedly attended to the tables around us, yet we felt completely ignored. Our order came out as requested. The burgers and fries were good, but my onion rings were burnt and clearly overcooked. Overall, the lack of service and attention overshadowed the quality of the food. I expected much better.

My family like dining here due to the food is really tasty. The parking is horrible and trying to find a seat is a nightmare. When it warms up sitting outside is a option. The servers are always nice and the busses are proactive in cleaning up right away so another guest can sit down. There should be a better seating system because sometimes i have noticed someone wait for a long time for a seat and someone else who just walks in grabs it first. The trip tip sandwich is a 4 out of five the bread is sometimes hard. You can ask for BBQ sauce or ranch for your food. There is a full bar of that is something you partake in.

First time in Fresno being a CA native lol. Tried this place based on reviews, no regrets. Enjoyed all our food. The place was busy on a weekday. Highly recommend this place if you’re in town or just waiting at the airport to connect, close enough that you can Uber. FYI: side of fries was huge, enough for a fam of 4. Less one star for 2 things: 1) small parking lot given they’re busy 2) confusing how to order/get your food. We told 2 ways, sit down and they’ll take your order or order first and find a seat. We weren’t told which area was which. So we sat down waiting for our waiter/ess. It was no big deal.

Been coming here for years and outside of a stray bad time, the food here is top tier. Good tri tip sammiches but for me, the real winner is that monster burger! Slap some bacon and maybe avocado on that bad boy and BAM! Ooooh, bonus points if you ask em to make it Medium.... so juice it might fall apart! Updated Review: 8/29/2025 I live in Las Vegas but family lives in Fresno, so I make it a point to stop here when I visit. Unfortunately the Monster Burger has changed... it just doesnt seem to be at the same quality I am used to it being here. Maybe it was a bad shift? Was the recipe changed? I can't say. Maybe the oil traps havent been changed in a while. The bacon also had the same taste issue as the burger. We also ordered Onion Rings and fries and those are still very impressive. No other place I've been to does breaded Rings as good as Dog House. The fries weren't badly overseasoned this time so that made them great too! Service was as good as I remember, no complaints about that!

This was our very first time visiting Dog House Grill, and overall, we enjoyed the experience. The Tri-Tip Steak Sandwich was absolutely delicious — tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, the Pork Ribs were far too salty for our taste and hard to enjoy because of it. We were hoping for a better balance of seasoning there. Still, we appreciated the lively atmosphere and friendly service, and we’d definitely come back to try more menu items next time

Well, I kept seeing reviews about Dog House Grill. Especially the tri tip steak sandwich. I love steak sandwiches so had to try it. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Cool atmosphere. Got my sandwich and onion rings. Sorry, not sure if it’s the meat or bread had a weird taste to it. If you add more bbq sauce it covers it up, but what’s the point of a steak sandwich if you’re going to drown it. They are generous on portion size but it’s also not cheap. Sorry but I was very disappointed. I simply cannot recommend the food. I had to go find better food elsewhere.

Never never eat there again. The places was a mess, bathrooms are filthy. The trash cans were overfilled. And everybody that work. there, who's cooking the food not 'wearing gloves. The patio area was filthy no where to sit bad experience employees were rude. I've never never eat there again. Parking was bad thumbs down. For sure,

Made it home to eat an order we got to go. Very first bite and I’m biting into a string! A string.. and then they’re not answering the phone so I can’t even request a refund. Insane.
