First time here, and the food did not disappoint. Ordered a small gumbo that had crab legs, shrimp, chicken, and sausage on a bed of rice. Fish and chicken combo with fries and chili beans. The 4 pieces of spicy chicken with greens and yams. We were both very happy with our flavorful food, and the spicy chicken had a good bite.

I got triple meat plate with shrimp,fried chicken, and fish. (Yams,Mack cheese)Everything was seasoned to perfection. The German chocolate cake wasn’t no store brought cake. I looked at the reviews before going sat in the parking lot for about 20 mins. For me I think African American reviews def go father for me and my decision being from the south. The portions are definitely good. Customer service was great. If anyone said they had bad customer service. I couldn’t believe it. The person at the counter and a person severing food both greeted me when I came in. If you say the food is t good then your taste buds are garbage. I travel around the United States 90% of the time and this food def Comforted me and made me feel at home. Thank you guys 1000% and you should be celebrated from the mountain top. This pushed my experiences with food to another level.

Talking bout some soul food. I haven’t had many places up here. Originally from SD but this is the ticket. Perfect fry, nothing dry. Creamy Mac n cheese and bomb green cabbage mix. Corn bread soft and moist and to top it off it won’t break your pockets. 10/10 will dine here again

BEST SOUL FOOD!! i went today for the first time and got mac n cheese, beans and fried chicken with cornbread with a drink it was about 20$ and well worth it. i will come again and again it was very tasteful. they also played good music and had on movies. great restraunt well done Rhaspody!!

Mac Let’s just start off by saying as soon as you walk in there is a sense of comfort and home the place was filled with a positive energy and spectacular taste in music.The owner was working he sat us and the woman working were both so friendly they were all over the place making sure everyone felt seen despite them being the only two working ☺️ Now to the food ABSOLUTELY delicious one of those meals where you sit in complete silence because you are savory every bite there is no need for salt or pepper on their tables it was delicious and cooked to perfection 🙌🏻 since it was our first time we tried two desserts and another one ounce of our time there was a disappointment we left with full bellies and food comas definitely being seeing us again to get a taste of their BBQ 👏🏻

I almost was not going to try this place because the pictures on here did not look appetizing. But I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. The food is delicious! (Chicken & waffles/ baked beans/ corn bread) Just needs some organizing inside the restaurant (two corners). The flower vases look tacky. Going back again to try different items:)

It was my first time here at this restaurant. It did not disappoint me at all. They have great customer service. Took care of me the moment I walked in. The food here is also great. The fried chicken was very delicious & personally my favorite. The atmosphere in there was great & they made me feel comfortable! Definitely coming back to try out the many things they got on the menu!

So glad I found this place after visiting the underground garden. Service was good and the food was scrumptious!

Friendly service, fried chicken was very good. Collard greens were tasty and we'll cooked. Mac & Cheese was average, I dont think it is made in house. Cornbread tasted good, but a bit crumbly.

10/10!! We got the spicy chicken combos with a variety of sides to try for our first trip here. The chicken (legs and thighs) comes out hot and juicy with perfectly seasoned, crunchy batter. The baked beans are the perfect sweetness, collard green are super tender and flavorful. The potato salad is just right and dude....the Mac n cheese is super cheesy, when the Mac has a cheese pull u know it's done right! Cornbread muffins were dang good too! Service was great, can't wait to go back and try some desserts too ❤️😸

Their food is well seasoned and the colard greens were amazing! We had greens from another shop before and it was sweet so we were very happy with their more smokey flavor. That was amazing food. Didn't even have to eat it to know it was already gonna be good. Once I dig in it was amazing. The sauce is rich and thick and the veggies were so flavourful. Gonna come again!

I have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. The food is excellent from the fried chicken to fried fish and smothered pork chops. The food is well seasoned and the taste is southern down home. I especially liked the size of the side dishes. This is the go to place if you want some comfort food.

Maaan, I was in HEAVEN! That food was bringin tears to my eyes it was so good. The food took me BACK. I was havin flasbacks of my grandmama. Definitely about to be a regular customer. I wish I had of known about them sooner. I hope they prosper, grow and reinvest as much as they want.

Food was delicious. I would definitely go back to try other foods that are served. Macaroni and cheese a tad salty. The Yams were my favorite. Shrimp was good but the batter fell off easy and the fried fish was a little dry. Restaurant gives really nice portions as well.

There's a distinct difference from canned candied yams and fresh ones when you grew up having them often. The greens had good flavor and the fried chicken was hot and fresh, paired perfectly with crystal hot sauce.
