Un sitio espectacular para disfrutar la gastronomía de Nerja. La relación calidad-precio es muy buena (recalcando la ración de frito variado por solo 14€). Todo lo que pedimos estaba increíble y el servicio no puede ser más agradable. Está situado en una callecita con un ambiente muy bueno y tranquilo.

Nos lo aconsejaron y la verdad que un acierto. Calidad insuperable y trato inmejorable por parte de todos los camareros. Volveremos sin duda.

Fuimos a comer al local y completamente recomendable el trato que recibimos fue increíble. Nos dejamos asesorar un poco por el camarero que nos atendió y fue una comida de los mas grata. El sitio al estar alejado de la costa lo hace un local muy recomendable para comer sin precios abusivos y centrándose en la calidad.

Fuimos a comer en horario muy tardío y sin reservar, nos hicieron el favor de atendernos y servirnos genial. Pedimos para 4 personas: - media de navajas. Muy buenas. - media de boquerones fritos. Estaban ricos, si los pusieran abiertos a la mitad mucho mejor. - media de calamares. Muy ricos. - coquinas. Las sirven con ajo y aliñadas, sinceramente me gustan más sin aliñar de esa forma, pero estaban bien. - patatas bravas. Son caseras muy buenas. - Rosada frita con Alioli, la rosada estaba buena, el alioli estaba demasiado fuerte, no me pareció casero. Un sitio para volver, funcionan rápido y muy amables.

Where do I start? It’s a local, Spanish, simple amazing place to come to. We have the wonderful staff, one of them David (in the pic), what a kind, lively and sweet man! The feeling you get when you come here is incredible - it’s like coming home to your family! They have fresh fish, great tapas, actually anything you order is great. Please try the baby calamares, the pork skewers and the Pil-Pil! If you wanna feel the love of Spain - a visit here is a MUST. My family have been in Nerja several years - my mom says the calamares (not fried) is the best she ever eaten in Nerja. Do yourself a favor and visit Restaurante La Puntilla❤️❤️❤️

Prawn Pil Pil is among the best I've ever had. Tuna salad is big enough for 2 and so so fresh. Would defo recommend. Also the grilled chicken and French fries are top notch 👌

This place had been recommended to us by a friend who spends much time in Spain. I'm glad he did as we may well have missed this gem as it is quite tucked away and slightly off the beaten track. Located on a quiet and pretty side street, the establishment straddles both sides of the road. One side is a tapas bar, the other a more traditional style restaurant. There is a display of fresh fish and seafood displayed outside the tapas bar, and it looked fantastic. It was also very busy so instead we took a seat across in the restaurant. The waiters were really friendly, and despite there being a party of at least 30 people dining at a huge long table, we we served quickly with excellent food. They were out of mussels, so I had Gambas Pil Pil, always a favourite of mine, and my mother had fried bacalao. We opted for the smaller portion sizes, and they were more than ample. The larger size would have been enough to share. The food was served with fresh warm bread and aioli which was the perfect accompaniment. After our meal we were offered a choice of liquers to finish. I had lemoncello my mother, Baileys. The atmosphere, here was brilliant, lots of chatter and laughter. It was obviously a place people enjoy visiting. We certainly did.

This place is clearly a popular spot, so I’d recommend arriving on time. We were lucky to snag a table indoors! We had a bit of a wait for our order, but once it arrived, everything moved quickly and it was totally worth it. We may have misjudged the portion sizes – they were more than enough to share, so be sure to consider how much you can eat! The food was delicious, and I highly recommend it.

Without doubt one of the best Tapas bar in Nerja. Seats are at a premium, because it's so busy. Luckily we got two great seats at the counter. The place was buzzing and Joaqui along with the team was on fire. Talk about multi tasking, from filling beers to cooking tapas, to taking orders, clearing tables..... like lightening We ordered from the menu, gazpacho and mixed croquettes. The food was so full of flavour as we tried to savour each bite. We order a second round of drinks, and we got tapas of Joaqui's choice. Prawns and squid and a sampling of pork. Delicious. The place was electric, and full of laughter. Sadly we had to leave, but our seats were gone in seconds by the next wave of customers. Truly a marvellous place and experience

Aunque el Restaurante La Puntilla no está en el centro de Nerja, merece totalmente la pena el paseo hasta llegar. ¡Las coquinas son una delicia! No te olvides de mojar el pan en su exquisita salsa, es un auténtico placer. La fritura de pescado es otro punto fuerte: fresca, jugosa y perfectamente cocinada, un imprescindible para los amantes del marisco. Las croquetas, aunque estaban bien elaboradas, no nos sorprendieron tanto como esperábamos, pero no desmerecen. El tinto de verano en jarra fue un acierto, refrescante y muy rico, ideal para acompañar la comida. Además, el ambiente es acogedor y el personal muy atento, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más agradable. Sin duda, un lugar para repetir si buscas comida española auténtica con un toque casero. ¡Recomendable al 100%! Y no nos olvidamos del Sr de la ventana vecino con la música típica andaluza dio un toque inolvidable!!!

Muy buena relación calidad precio y un gran servicio. No teníamos reserva pero nos buscaron una mesa rápidamente, y fue sentarnos y ser atendiendos en cuestión de segundos. Nos pusieron las bebidas y la comida muy rápido. La comida estaba bien, aunque nos dijeron que las raciones eran grandes no nos resultaron así, pero estaban bien la verdad. El pan te ponen uno por persona pero si no te lo comes no te lo cobran.

Pedimos una fritura de pescado y casi nos sobra éramos tres personas .la atención excepcional y pudimos estar con los perros . Os recomiendo el cazón en adobo

I have choose this place as reviews were great, when I arrived only 1 person was present on the floor, who stretched himself between serving food, drinks, sitting new tables, taking orders, cleaning etc. Had to wait long for taking my order and paying my bill. I decided to try aubergine with honey-was not impressed and couldnt finish a small portion -its massive! Manchego cheese served just 6 slices of cheese, not jam or honey with it as you get used to it. Pil pil lagostinos-overpriced and doesn’t worth it, dirty inside and not so many for the price, you can try better pil pil somewhere else.

This was our first lunch at this restaurant, and honestly, I expected a bit more. The rejos were tasty and the tuna salad was fresh, which I appreciated. Lamentablemente, el pescado no estaba bien preparado. Le faltaba sazón y la sepia estaba dura y prácticamente incomible. No pudimos comerla. Las croquetas, en cambio, estaban muy ricas. Sin embargo, el precio de 43 euros no estuvo justificado en absoluto.

Una decepción absoluta. Llevaba a un grupo de 7 personas (visitas del extranjero) a conocer Nerja. Llamé a las 12:30 para reservar mesa en terraza a las 14:30 y me confirmaron sin problemas. Llegamos exactamente a las 14:30, ni un minuto más ni uno menos. Sin embargo, nos tuvieron esperando de pie más de 15 minutos mientras los camareros nos ignoraban deliberadamente. Lo más indignante fue ver cómo sentaban inmediatamente a otros grupos que llegaron después (con saludos muy efusivos, claramente conocidos de la casa), mientras a nosotros nos decían "un minuto" y seguían tomando comandas en otras mesas sin mirarnos. Para colmo, vi una mesa de 7 personas ya comiendo con mi nombre escrito en el mantel de papel. Blanco y en botella: regalaron nuestra reserva. Tuvimos que irnos a la competencia (Dolores El Chispa), donde nos salvaron la comida y nos atendieron de 10. Si tenéis una reserva de grupo, cuidado, porque en La Puntilla no es garantía de nada.

We ordered puntillas and some other food, everything tasted okay, below average. However after a while, my friend discovered that there was a worm or some kind of a maggot in her food :) we told the waiter and he said (ina very downgrading tone) that it was a small prawn - “gambita” :) you can see for yourself in the photos, even compare with a picture of a maggot next to it. Later, another waiter came and after his inspection, he said that puntillas eat these worms and its completely normal… then proceeded to put the plate with this worm back in front of us. We didn’t continue eating since we were so disgusted and then were forced to pay for it anyway. Even for the maggot :) The waiter was rude about it and was talking down on us during our discussion. I completely understand that this can happen but the service was the biggest problem. If they just apologized and let us return the food instead of finding excuses and trying to make us feel stupid, I wouldn’t decide to give them this long bad review.
